Hey guys! Hope this wasn't too long a wait, it's quite a long chappie so... yeah. Anyway, about that sequel... I don't think I'm gonna do one. I mean, thank you for all the ideas, but none of them really appeal to me. I was watching LOTR the other day, and an idea came to me for another LOTR fanfic. KEEP IN MIND! THIS IS ONLY A ROUGH IDEA! My best friend and I (BlackestSlytherin) are working out the kinks now, so the final plot (if I do write this) will probably turn out to be completely different to this. Anyway, it would be about a girl who has blue eyes rimmed with gold (yes legolasgreeleaf14 I changed it), and because of a prophecy that one elf with golden-rimmed eyes would help end the Age of the Elves, she was left on Fangorn's doorstep to die. But Treebeard found her, and took her in. She was raised by the Ents in Fangorn, and was taught everything an elf would know. (The trees see all...) She hears of the One Ring being recovered, and that Elrond of Imladris (Rivendell) was calling a meeting. After being briefed on all the people going, she sets out to Rivendell with her special Elven horse that had lived with her in Fangorn for a few hundred years (Elven horses live a long time, or so I've heard. She found the horse and raised it). She joins the Fellowship (I know, cliché 10th walker story), and- well, I would tell you more, but that would ruin the story if I do decide to write it (and also that's as far as I've got with the plot). So please tell me what you think, and enjoy the chapter! Oh, and if you like the plot idea above, then any title suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I actually suck at thinking of names. Enjoy!

legolasgreeleaf14: Thank you! Yes, don't worry, Leggy will be fine. Probably ;) Thank you thank you thank you! I love writing and I'm happy to find someone who likes it :D Aha, really? Were you that excited for my chapter? And we've discussed the sequel enjoy the chappie!

Spottedmask12: Thank you! Here ya go! Sorry 'bout the sequel. But if you have any ideas, then I could still write one...

the Random Oliphaunt: Thank you! Sorry, it's a good idea, but I wouldn't know how to elaborate on that theme. But thanks anyway ;)

Gathering the Fellowship

Cat's POV

It had been 2 months since Lizzy and I returned to Middle-Earth. Legolas had returned to his normal self, but sometimes had periods when the grief returned and clouded his mind. During those times, he needed me, to remember that I had really come back, that I was here. But those periods were rare nowadays. Lizzy... had actually been crowned as queen of Rohan! Eomer and her were soon to be married. Soon, I remembered my home.

" 'Las, how is Lothlorien?" I asked one day, whilst we were sitting together.

"The elves there mourn for the loss of both their future queens." I frowned.

"But... I thought Aragorn sent a messenger there to tell them I had returned." Legolas nodded.

"He did."

"Then... why-" Legolas cut me off.

"But they all think you are to either stay here or to return to Mirkwood with myself, and not to become the queen of Lothlorien." I frowned again.

"That's not true. Of course I will become queen. I must." I looked over at Legolas. His face was unreadable. "What?" I asked. He sighed, resting his head on my shoulder. I had an arm around his waist, and I tightened that arm, holding him close. "I won't leave you. Even when I am queen, I won't leave you." I told him. I heard another little sigh, and could tell he didn't believe me. "I swear I won't leave you, Legolas Greenleaf. Ever. I swear it."

After talking to Aragorn, I got ready to leave for Lothlorien. Apparently, Vivace had been wandering around Minas Tirith for quite a while, looking for me. So when she found me... well, let's just say I had to go and get cleaned up afterwards. I found my bow and arrows (and my quiver) and went to Vivace.

"Welcome back, Ivana." Vivace said.

"Thank you, Vivace." I replied in her ear. I had told Aragorn that I wanted all the Fellowship (or what remained of the Fellowship) to be at my coronation, so I was riding to Edoras to get Lizzy. Legolas and Gimli were riding to the Shire with spare horses to collect the hobbits. I would wait for Legolas, Gimli and the hobbits in Rohan, and after a few days, Aragorn would ride to Lothlorien. I waited for Legolas to finish saddling up Arod, and boosted Gimli up behind him, mock groaning as I did so. "What have you been eating?" I asked in jest. Gimli mumbled something under his breath, and I smiled, jumping up onto Vivace.

"Shall we be off?" Legolas asked me. I grinned again.

"Let's go." I nudged Vivace lightly and set off towards Rohan in a trot.

We rode throughout the day, exchanging stories and tales of our adventures. The dwarf and the elf were very interested in me, and in Earth. They were absolutely speechless when I told them of electronics, and cars, and... well, most things! They didn't believe they were real, and I didn't push it. Before we knew it, it was night time and we had to stop. I slithered off Vivace, legs stiff from riding all day. Gimli tried to get off Arod, and ended up falling onto his back. I couldn't stop a laugh. Legolas slid off Arod with his usual grace, helping Gimli up. I let go of Vivace and walked unsteadily over to a nice patch of ground, before sitting down heavily.

"I haven't ridden that much in ages." I said to no one in particular. Legolas came and sat next to me while Gimli went to look for wood for a fire.

"Neither have I." Legolas said. I smiled at him, and rested my head on his chest. Legolas wrapped an arm around me, and I wound my arms around his waist. We stayed like that for the remainder of the night, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

The next day, we arrived at Edoras. I halted Vivace as soon as we could see it. Turning to Legolas, I said:

"This is where we part." Legolas nodded, looking a little afraid. He was worried that he would have an episode of grief and I wouldn't be there to stop it. I frowned slightly, thinking of something I could give him that would help him to remember me. Reaching up, I unfastened my Elven pendant from around my neck. I held it out to Legolas.

"I cannot accept that." I tucked it into one of his tunic's pockets, smiling at him.

"Do not lose that." Putting a hand on Gimli's shoulder, I nodded to him before urging Vivace towards Edoras.

"Iva!" I heard a yell from behind me. I turned Vivace and saw Arod and the other horses where I had left them. "Ride safe." I heard Legolas say. I smiled.

"And the same to you." I replied, before turning again and I cantered towards Edoras.

Upon arriving there, I found Lizzy outside the throne room, looking down at me. I grinned up at her.

"Are you too high and mighty now to come and say hello?" Lizzy stuck her nose up in the air at me, but grinned back at me and ran down the steps. I leapt off Vivace and hugged my best friend. "Wait." I said, pulling back from her. "Are you... are you wearing a dress?" I asked in amazement. Lizzy rolled her eyes in irritation.

"Yep. They are forcing me to wear these horrible garments of doom because 'oh, but the queen must wear a dress!'" I smirked at her, but soon came to the realisation that if I was to be the queen of Lothlorien, I would also have to wear dresses. Although, those dresses were to die for. They were amazing. "Why have you come?" Lizzy asked, seeing I wasn't replying.

"Does a girl need to have a reason to visit her bestest friend ever?" I said, grinning at Lizzy. She smiled back. "But actually... I'm going to Lothlorien to become queen." Lizzy's face was expressionless. "What is it?" I asked, worried. Lizzy frowned.

"You're going to outrank me!" I burst into laughter, earning many strange looks from the villagers around us. Lizzy couldn't keep her frown in place and soon joined me, laughing. When we calmed down, I answered:

"Yes." Lizzy mock frowned at me again. "And I want you to come to my coronation."

"Will there be cake?" Lizzy asked, her eyes going comically wide. I pondered this question.

"I don't know." I finally replied, shrugging. Lizzy pointed a finger at me.

"There will be cake." I threw my hands up in surrender.

"I guess there will be cake!" Lizzy snorted at my expression and exploded into laughter once more.

Once we had recovered ourselves and Vivace had been put in a stall, we walked into the throne room. The guards outside tried to take my weapons, but a word from Lizzy silenced them.

"You have a lot of authority here." I remarked. Lizzy gave me an evil smile as we approached Eomer's throne.

"Cat!" Eomer said, surprised.

"Eomer." I heard the guards gasp when I didn't call him 'King Eomer'. I didn't really care, to be honest.

"It's nice to see you again." He said. I smiled at him. "Why have you come?"

"I'm afraid I must steal Lizzy from you for a few days. I must return to Lothlorien as I have some unfinished business there and Lizzy must come." Eomer frowned, obviously wanting to know what this business was. Lizzy sighed from next to me.

"What she means is, she's going to Lothlorien to become queen!" Lizzy squealed, giving me a very uncharacteristic hug. Eomer's eyebrows rose, and I smiled at him.

"It's true. But I did not want everyone on Middle-Earth to know right now." I said, giving Lizzy a look. She ignored me.

"Well... of course Lizzy can go. As if I could stop her." I grinned.

"He's learning." Lizzy said in my ear. My smile widened as I rolled my eyes affectionately.

Disclaimer: I don't own LOTR, Eomer's throne room, Arod or Lothlorien.

So, what did you think? Please R&R, and tell me what you thought of the chapter, and also of my plot idea. I would've written the next chapter as part of this one, but we are coming to the end of this story (sad, I know :'( ) and I want to keep you all guessing ;). So the next chapter will be quite a short one, but then the one after that will be longer as it will be Cat's coronation, and that will be the last proper chapter, I think. I will have an epilogue (you know, typical 5 years later type thing) and then that's it for this story! :'( I'm gonna cry :'( Anyway, see you guys later! Ciao!
