AN: I'm back! YAHOO! Did you like the cliff hanger? Because you're still hanging :)

Song: Fourth of July by Fall Out Boy

Ignoring the noise down below, Jene whacked Troy with her umbrella partner. It wasn't like she cared what happened to him; she would kill him. She would fucking kill him. He treated Clare so badly, therefore he didn't deserve his breath. He was wasting oxygen. Jene's eyes glazed over and it seemed like she was in a trance.

Troy barely fought back, his arm occasionally turning into a staff to block attacks. Otherwise, he lay there, taking it. He just felt so happy with Clare being so close to him. And when she changed back into human form, he gazed at her through the blood that flowed over his eyes.

"Jene, stop! Jene, you're going to kill him!" Clare grabbed her partners still raging fists before they could hit Troy more. Neither of them responded. "We were told to bring him back, Jene. You can't do this. He's a human being."

"I don't believe that last part." Jene replied coldly while she struggled to release her arms.

"She can kill me. It's okay. I got to see you one last time." Troy smiled. He was missing a tooth and his lip was bleeding, but he smiled.

"Troy.." Clare whispered. Her grip loosened on Jene just enough for the meister to free herself and throw her fist at Troy's face. He raised his untransformed arm and blocked the attack with a piece of shattered glass. "Troy!" Clare screeched, grabbing the glass and throwing it away. Jene held her arm, curled up in a ball, trying not to cry. Or scream.

"Blood. Blood. So much blood." Jene whimpered. Clare ran over her as Troy sat up.

"Jene, Jene. It will be okay." Clare ripped part of her shirt off to tie around Jene's arm. After she tied it, she kissed her partner's forehead. "We'll get you back to school immediately."

"But Troy.." Jene weakly lifted her finger towards the beaten boy, who was sitting on overturned sofa. Blood dripped from multiple wounds.

"You're losing too much blood, Jene. We need to go back."

"Let me help." Troy said quietly. Clare looked at him.

"What?"

"Let me help. Please." He stood up and Clare flinched He stopped.

"You're hurt. You wouldn't make it all the way." Clare told him.

"But you'll get there faster." Troy took another step closer.

"No, Troy."

"If you don't leave soon, she isn't going to make it. We need to go!" Troy went to grab Jene's legs, but Clare stopped him by grabbing his leg. She stood up.

"I'm not letting her die, and I'm not letting you die. Stay here. I'll ask them to send someone to you. Just put some pressure on your wounds and try to wash off all the blood." She stepped closer to him and quickly kissed him. She then crouched down and Troy helped her put Jene on her back. "Please don't die, Troy."

"I love you, Clare. For you. I'll stay here for you." Clare smiled at him, and left. A few minutes later, he heard calls from down below.

"CANNA!"(-Kyle) "KYLE!"(-Alex)

Troy didn't know what was happening and he didn't want to find out. He walked up the stairs into the bathroom and went into the shower. He turned the water on and just stood there, clothes still on, letting the water run over him. The water swirling down the drain was dark red. Troy didn't feel very good. He fell to the shower floor. He didn't feel very good at all. He ran his finger against the wall, writing quickly before what he knew was coming.

"Clare." He whispered. His hand fell and his eyes closed. The shower poured. The water ran red.
