Silver: *Walks in* Sorry about not being here for a while, folks. Things have been tough these past couple of weeks for both me and the others. School, work, the Seahawks losing the Superbowl… *sniffs* ...G-gimme a minute, *runs off, before you hear overdramatic crying* WE WERE SO CLOSE!
TB: I wanted them to win, just so I could see you cheer wildly, not CRY wildly! But… how bout dat Halftime Show and Super Bowl Rally commercial with MLP for a second, huh?
KKD: Uh… newsflash people, if people are reading this, what are the odds that we're really attracting sports fans; so in the words of Joshscorcher, "Hey look! Who cares?"
Silver: Shut up, Sempai! -_-
KKD: Why is it that you sounded like Pewdiepie for a second? Though I will admit, MLP being in there for a moment was surprising.
Silver: *bounces back from crying session* Yeah, that was pretty cool.
*Neptune walked in, slightly bandaged up*
Neptune: Thanks for the help… both being sarcastic and serious.
TB: Yeah, that was kinda tough back there. Now please go get ready for your story, we got a lot of catchin' up to do.
Neptune: Uh… I can't. Somebody stole my crutches and I need help back…
Silver: Anyways, let's move on with this before anything else happens. So, we have Mataranger on our hands once again, and we've got an interesting chapter ahead of us.
KKD: Right. *hands Neptune spare crutches before pulling out the Disclaimers, which slam onto the screen.

Gathered friends… listen again to our legend… of the Bionicle. When all hope seemed lost and it looked like the Toa would be trapped in Karda Nui, the group found a way back to the surface with help from the Guardian Machines. Hikaru was having trouble against Karzahni until the others arrived and formed the new mech, Toa Nuva-Oh! They managed to defeat Karzahni, prevent the Age of Darkness, and Aqua even managed to win the heart of the Toa of Light. And thus, the adventure continues…
We first see the Toa sitting in their home, just relaxing after their battle with Karzahni.
"Yeesh… Karzahni was really hard to beat…" Ventus stated, resting on the couch.
"Yeah, but we can't rest for too long. Remember, we still need to face Makuta, as well as Roodaka and Vezon," Terra reminded.
"Yes yes, we know," Hikaru sighed, clearly exhausted from everything they went through.
"Regardless, we mustn't be reckless. Remember, the Makuta are not to be trifled with," Aqua reminded.
"And we mustn't be reckless," Ventus added in.
"We mustn't be redundant," Ignatius stated, rolling his eyes.
"What?"
"Regardless, we need to be on guard in case the Makuta or anyone else attacks," Yuki stated. However, as if on cue, their Metranexuses started to ring.
"What? Already?!" Ventus gawked.
"Well, the Makuta would have to pick up the slack seeing as their plan to awaken Karzahni failed…" Ignatius noted, "Min'na, ikuzo!"
"Hai!" the others responded, as they all headed out.

Chronicle 29: Race Against Time
The Matarangers arrive at the park to find a green Rahkshi with gray limbs, shooting out some sort of green goop everywhere, which seemed to be spewing toxic fumes.
"Wait a second… didn't we fight this guy before?" Ventus pointed out.
"It's another Rahkshi! The 'Sons of Makuta'. They are born from the Kraata that the Makuta pull from their bodies," Terra informed.
"Yeah, we know that. So, how are we gonna beat it?" Ignatius asked.
"Hmmm… this Rahkshi seems more powerful than the others," Mason noticed.
"How so?" Ventus asked.
"I'm not sure, but… while we've fought Rahkshi before, there's something about it that's… well… familiar."
"Regardless, let's take it out!" Ignatius responded, pulling out his Metranexus, and setting up his Kanohi, his teammates doing the same.
=KANOHI HAU! SHIELDS UP!=
=KANOHI KAUKAU! FEEL THE FLOW!=
=KANOHI MIRU! RISE ABOVE ALL!=
=KANOHI KAKAMA! ACCELERATION!=
=KANOHI PAKARI! OVERPOWER!=
=KANOHI AKAKU! SEE BEYOND THE LIMITS!=
=KANOHI AVOHKII! LIGHT 'EM UP!=
"Toa Transform!" the seven shouted, firing their blasters before turning into their senshi forms.
They then charged at the Rahkshi summoning their weapons to attack. However, their weapons didn't seem to have much effect on the beast.
"Damn, this thing is tough-skinned…" MataBlack noted.
"Min'na, let's go Nuva, then!" MataRed ordered, pulling out his Hau Nuva Kanohi.
=KANOHI HAU NUVA! TO PROTECT ALL!=
=KANOHI KAUKAU NUVA! DEEP BELOW!=
=KANOHI MIRU NUVA! FLY FAR, FLY FAST!=
=KANOHI KAKAMA NUVA! SPEED DEMON!=
=KANOHI PAKARI NUVA! LET THE STRONG SURVIVE!=
=KANOHI AKAKU NUVA! LOOK PAST DECEPTION!=
"Don't count me out, either!" MataGold stated as he pulled out his Twilight Kanohi.
=KANOHI KARAHANKII! LIGHT AND DARKNESS AS ONE!=
"Nuva/Twilight Transform!" the Matarangers shouted, changing into their Nuva/Twilight forms to attack the Rahkshi.
They were at least denting the Rahkshi, but then it did something unexpected, slashing at MataGreen with its staff, which caused his armor to glow green for a bit before he demorphed and started groaning in pain.
"Ven!" the Matarangers gasped, as they ran to go see what was wrong. As they did, the Rahkshi was able to get a hit on MataBrown and MataBlack as well, causing them to fall and demorph.
"Watch out, guys! That Rahkshi's staff is poisoned!" MataGold shouted, "No doubt it's a Lerahk!"
"Gee, thanks for the heads-up NOW!" MataWhite responded before getting slashed in the back by the Rahkshi, knocking him out.
"We need to get them out of here now!" MataBlue shouted, about to help up MataGreen before being shot in the back by an unknown enemy.
"Wh-what the-?!" MataRed and MataGold gasped.
"I can't let you do that, Toa," they heard a voice speak, as they looked to see a familiar red Makuta next to another familiar figure.
"Roodaka and Antroz?! What are you doing here?!" MataRed gawked.
"You honestly think Teridax is the only one who can create Rahkshi? Ha! I thought I'd leave this one to face you. And your precious Toa of Water won't be able to save you THIS time!" Antroz laughed, as sure enough, Aqua was now afflicted with the same poison as the others because of Antroz's Makuta power.
"Oh no…" MataRed gawked, looking around for a way out.
"Prepare to die, Toa!" Roodaka laughed, as she and Antroz were about to shoot at them.
"No… I won't lose my team again!" MataGold shouted, before summoning a bright flash of light, blinding Antroz, Roodaka, and the Lerahk, before he and MataRed fled, helping out the other Toa.
Later, the Toa were back at their base, the poisoned members lying on couches or beds as Ignatius and Hikaru tried their hardest to heal them.
"Gah! It's no use! This poison's too strong for either of us to cure!" Hikaru shouted, tears flowing down his face, "Aqua-chan… I'm sorry…"
"Oi! Don't give up yet! We can save them, Hikaru! We just need to find out how," Ignatius responded, smacking Hikaru to snap him out of it.
"...Sorry… it's just…" Hikaru started before sighing and looking at Ignatius, "After I lost my first team… the original Toa… it hurt for a while. They sacrificed their lives to bring about peace, but I still feel responsible… there could've been another option."
"I know, Hikaru… but still, that was avoidable; there has to be a way for us to help the others," Ignatius stated, before they started thinking about what to do.
"Mou…" Hikaru groaned before recalling something, "Wait a minute… I think I just remembered something; I know a way we can cure them of this poison."
"Really? What do you have in mind?"
"I remember one of the Turaga of my day mention something about a Rahi that was on our side, and is a master of all types of venoms and poisons, and can cure them. We just need to find this Rahi," Hikaru replied, going to Terra's computer to look up the Rahi in question.
"Since when did a Rahi join the side of the Toa?" Ignatius asked in disbelief.
"It had to do with your Turaga's original counterparts in my time. Back when my Turaga were the Toa Metru, they tried to rescue all the Matoran, only to get infected by Visorak venom, turning into Toa Hordika," Hikaru explained.
"Hordika?"
"You're not familiar with the term? Hordika is a term that translates into 'half-beast'; it's also the type of venom that the Visorak carry. If they infect you with it, you'll become Hordika; unable to utilize your mask powers, but you'll have increased abilities based on the beast you'll get half of, and increased elemental powers. The Toa Metru sought the help of this Rahi because they needed to become their normal selves in order to keep their promise to the Matoran, and to fulfill their duty. If the venom isn't neutralized, it'll take root, and the victim will forever be Hordika," Hikaru explained, with Ignatius gasping in response.
"No way are we gonna get bit by the Visorak, then. But anyway, what is this Rahi, anyway?" Ig asked.
"Just a few more seconds…" Hikaru muttered before the screen finally came up with the image of a humanoid Rahi that was mostly some shade of yellow-orange, had one cycloptic eye that was blue, and had something that resembled a hat on top of its head, "Here it is. 'Keetongu'. For years, it was thought to be just a myth, many sought Keetongu's help while others doubted its existence. Yet, with help from the Rahaga, the Toa Metru, then Toa Hordika, managed to locate it within the icy realm of Ko-Metru. It is unknown if it can be located today, but the Matoran and Toa are forever thankful for what Keetongu did to help their predecessors.'"
"Are there any remains to help us find Keetongu?" Ignatius asked.
"There are some archeological sightings with writings from my time that could help us. They are scattered across the globe, but there is some recent discoveries that scientists can't read. But look," Hikaru responded before showing off stone slabs with some symbols on them, consisting of mostly circles with lines and dots within them, "This is the language of my time, the Matoran language. And it looks like someone found these from the old Great Temple of Ga-Metru."
"What do the slabs say?"
"Let me see… scientists can't translate them, but like I said, I can read this; it's my native language. This says, 'Follow the flowing tears to Ko-Metru until they reach the sky.' That was the translation the Rahaga had before they helped the Toa find Keetongu. These tears refer to the protodermis streams that flowed in my time, but the liquid variety hasn't shown up since the Time Before Time," Hikaru noted.
"So… 'Follow them until they reach the sky'..." Ignatius pondered, "That would've meant follow them until you came across an ice mountain of the stuff since protodermis was everywhere in your time, right? And since Ko-Metru was a place of ice and snow, that means that we will find Keetongu at the peak of the mountain."
"Yea, but what mountain? Like I said, we'd need to find the trail of liquid protodermis, and there hasn't been any around in ages, let alone one leading to any mountains," Hikaru pointed out.
It wasn't long before they heard the TV turn on.
-We interrupt this program to bring you this special new bulletin. Construction workers at the rock quarry today have accidentally unearthed something they never would've expected,- the newscaster reported on the TV as the footage showed the rock quarry, and several workers surrounding a silver river, -The workers are unsure what this liquid is, though they have dubbed it the 'silver tears' because of its color and overall appearance. It's not flowing to the ocean, but whatever this is, scientists will be on the scene to examine them. Until further notice, people are to stay indoors until the 'silver tears' are dubbed safe and non-toxic to the public.-
"That's it! That's the liquid protodermis!" Hikaru recognized, "And if my hypothesis is correct, then that river would lead to where Keetongu currently resides!"
"Well, it's not much of a plan, but it is one. One problem, though… there's a whole bunch of workers, scientists and newscasters who are going to be there. How are we going to move up the quarry without being noticed?" Ignatius asked.
"Hello! We have Kanohi! Great Masks of power! You have the Huna, you can just go invisible and check to see which way it's going, and we can follow it from there," Hikaru replied, muttering something as he took Aqua's Rau, "We'll also need this to translate what Keetongu will say."
"My guess is he still speaks your ancient language," Ignatius replied before looking at his team, "How long do we have?"
"With the healing we gave them, the poison will be held off for at least 2 days. If we hurry, it'll give us more than enough time to find Keetongu and convince him to help us," Hikaru informed, "As for language, well… Keetongu spoke a language even older than mine; one the Rahaga knew, but as a Chronicler before I became a Toa, I learned many languages, so I'll do what I can."
"Right," Ignatius nodded, turning to Karin, who was still near Aqua, "Karin. Do me a favor and watch over Aqua and the rest of the team for us; we'll be gone for a while, okay?"
"Gotcha, Ig-san," Karin saluted before the two Toa rushed out of the base, off to their destination.
At the rock quarry, many people were surrounding the 'silver tears', scientists were in hazmat suits taking samples of the liquid, the workers telling the scientists and newscasters what they know, while the newscasters themselves discussed how to incorporate this into their nightly news. Up above them, Hikaru and Ignatius watched, out of range while behind a boulder at the edge of the cliff.
"So the protodermis is leading up this pathway," Ignatius noted, eyeing where the trail was leading, going up to the peak of the quarry.
"Okay… you're more familiar with the landscape, any idea where this could be headed?" Hikaru asked as Ig looked where the protodermis was going until he stopped his gaze at Mt. Fuji.
"There," Ignatius pointed out, "Mt. Fuji. And if we head there now, it'll take us… half a day at least to get there and see if Keetongu's back. We'd better hurry before they spot us."
"I'm way ahead of you!" Hikaru replied, already a few yards ahead of Ignatius, "Literally."
Ignatius just sighed before activating his Huna Kanohi to turn himself invisible. And with that, the two Toa rushed off to the mountain, climbing up higher and higher to the peak, looking for a cave entrance. They continued searching until Ignatius saw a lime green blast shoot at them. "Get down!" he shouted, pushing Hikaru away from the blast as it passed by them, the two Toa seeing Krika in Makutaranger form, laughing away.
"Krika! What are you doing here?!" Ignatius demanded.
"Is it not obvious? We are here to stop you!" Krika smirked as the other Makutarangers arrived, along with Mutran and Icarax.
"We know you plan to have Keetongu heal your crew. The trail of protodermis was just a trap, to lead the only Toa who were fortunate enough to not be poisoned," Mutran explained.
"Enough talk! Let's fight!" Icarax roared as the Makuta prepared themselves.
"Oh boy. Hikaru! Change da!" Ignatius exclaimed as he set his Kanohi in his Metranexus, Hikaru doing the same.
=KANOHI HAU! SHIELDS UP!=
=KANOHI AVOHKII! LIGHT EM UP!=
"Toa Transform!" the two declared before shooting the masks at the Makuta who just blocked it back at them, causing the two to transform regardless.
"Ikuze!" MataRed shouted as he and MataGold charged at the Makuta before there was a blast that occurred between the two of them, revealing Vezon's arrival.
"Matte! Matte! MATTE~!" Vezon responded, halting the battle before it began, "Miyo (Behold), the new Fenrakk!"
Fenrakk then walked in, roaring, revealing his new parts now showed green, and gave off the poisonous vibe that Lerahk from earlier displayed.
"Great, now we got three problems to deal with," MataRed groaned, "First the Makuta, then Roodaka and her new Lerahk, now this."
"Save the complaints for after the fight, now come on!" MataGold responded, rushing in with his staff, striking at Icarax, Gorast and Bitil.
MataRed leaped in, using his MataBuster and his Fire Sword against Mutran, Krika, Gorast and Fenrakk. Vezon just chuckled at this, managing to get out of the fight, while Fenrakk tried to chomp at MataRed with his glowing green teeth.
"Two words, Gingivitis," Red groaned, kicking Fenrakk in the lower jaw before slashing at him, along with the Makuta he was fighting, with his fire sword, "Now how about we kick it up a notch?"
With that, Red pulled out the Golden Kanohi before he put it into his Metranexus.
=KANOHI GOLDEN! ELEMENTS UNITE!=
"Golden Transform!" MataRed shouted, but then suddenly…
=ERROR!=
"Huh?" MataRed gawked, confused before he tried again.
=ERROR!=
"What do you mean 'Error'?!" he gawked, trying to fire, but couldn't until the Golden Kanohi sort of blew off the Metranexus.
The Makuta just laughed at the sight.
"Didn't you figure it out?! You need all of your fellow Toa in the best shape for that to work! Without them, that mask is about as useless as a pile of Rahi dung!" Mutran scoffed before he fired at Red, knocking him down.
"IG!" MataGold shouted before he was knocked down right next to Red by Icarax.
The Makuta chuckled when suddenly Icarax fired at a nearby cliff, causing the rocks and snow to start sliding down, creating an avalanche.
Inside a cave, there sat a figure in ice, or was it? Suddenly, the rumbling caused it to crack until a red light could be seen, the figure breaking out with its raw strength before he ran out.
"Happy landings, Toa!" Krika and the other Makutarangers laughed, Vezon and Fenrakk leaving along with them.
The two Toa looked up in fear, seemingly about to get crushed by the snow before…
A grinding sound was heard as they looked up, seeing a figure, about 3 feet taller than them using some sort of handheld, dual bladed, spinning weapon to grind the rocks up and keep the snow off of them.
"What the?" Ignatius gasped as the snow cleared, the figure retracting the weapon before looking down at the duo, the sun shining on him to give him a near golden appearance to his biomechanical armor.
Hikaru just gasped as he stood up, amazed that the figure before them was actually able to survive for so long.
"Toa…" was all the figure said, in a gravelly voice, reaching its hand to the duo, the two Toa recognizing him now that it was clear as day.
"Keetongu…" Hikaru gawked, taking the giant's hand before he scooped both of them up and got out of the avalanche.

Gekijouban: Toa Sentai Mataranger: Mata-Memories of Friendship
Coming Soon.
KKD: DANG! We're getting close to when the movies should come out… only problem being our schedules outside of fanfic putting us WAY behind schedule for these uploads.
TB: Yeah, though we should be getting back after our month long hiatus.
Silver: I feel that's partially my fault. And I would like to say something about that… I'm leaving the Mataranger staff.
TB: WHA~~~~~T?!
KKD: EH?! W-Why, Kouhai?!
Silver: Well… when I started this, I was really interested on getting this story back on track, but now… I'm kinda disinterested in it. Don't worry, folks, I'll still help from time to time, but my main focus will be on Guardians and SEGA from now on. It'll help ease things up around here…
KKD: *sighs* Okay...
TB: Makes sense.
Silver: Though, I'm expecting you Jokers to make sure that this story comes out every Sunday as usual.
*suddenly, Hajime, Shotaro, and Reyn show up* You called?
Silver: …*facepalm*
KKD: Why're these guys here?!
Silver: Because you guys are being a "Buncha Jokahs."
Reyn: Oi, that's my line!
KKD: N-Nevermind. Anyway, I'm sure I can keep up to date with this with how this doofus here *points to TB* keeps gettin' on my case about it.
Silver: That's true. TB does seem to bug us about it 24/7…
KKD: And yet whenever he tries to do it himself, he's almost as lazy of a bum as we might end up as sometimes.
TB: Only because I wanna get this done. Though I do admit that I am a lazy ass. Anyway, how about favorite parts people?
KKD: I guess that's a good idea. Personally, my favorite part was Keetongu in general. I really liked the idea of bringing in this one Rahi that helped the Toa of the past and bringing him into the present. Also, this is one character that'll stay biomechanical as he's actually from the original incarnation of Bionicle, not a reincarnation like the other characters we see.
Silver: Then again, most of the Rahi have been kept biomechanical, with minor tweaks like making them humanoid and allowing them to talk. Y'know, that's something else I'd like to bring up. Originally, the Rahi were supposed to speak, like Sentai Kaijin, while the CPU Kaijin in SEGA and the Nightmare Beasts from Guardians wouldn't talk, and it feels like they reversed. Anyways, gotta say my favorite part was the fight at the beginning, as well as Keetongu's awakening.
KKD: Thought so. TB?
TB: I liked Keetongu's awakening as well.
Silver: Cool. Well, guess that's it's time for us to be off. This has been the Radiant Rider, Silver…
KKD: The Crossover King, KKD…
TB: And the Lone Rider, Toku Brony.
Silver: And from all of us… *I hold up my hand, which has a strange floating card hovering over it* We'll see ya later. Stand up the Vanguard! And… Persona! *I crush the card, summoning out some kind of red humanoid horse, before vanishing*
KKD: Uh… Jaa ne?
TB: Seiyaa. Seriously, when did he get a Persona?
KKD: No clue.
