AN: Happy Monday my wonderful readers. There is bad news and good news for all of you who love this story. The bad news is that this will be the second to last chapter. BUT there is also good news. There will be a sequel. I don't how long it will take me to start it since I have a lot of stories going right now, nine to be exact, but I will start it in the near future. Once again anything you recognize is JK Rowling's anything you don't is mine.

Hermione POV

Draco had to half carry me up the steps to Snape's office. I had starting crying only a minute after we started to walk away from our children. He was mumbling nonsensical words in my ear trying to calm me. It was helping but not much. His voice was soft and soothing.

"Hermione, Kitten, we'll see them again. You know we will." I couldn't say anything. How could I? I would miss them so much. They had been wonderful and very sweet. Draco and I had raised them right... would raise them right in the future.

"Dumbledore," I looked up and was surprised to see the the gargoyles guarding the headmasters office. It was too fast. Everything was going by too fast.

"Come on, Kitten," Draco said leading me up the steps. I stumbled blindly over my feet, tears coursing down my cheeks. It took us a couple minutes to get up the stairs, Draco cursed when I slipped on one of the steps.

"Whoa, what happened to Hermione?" Neville asked, sounding shocked. I looked up slowly, trying to control my tears.

"She's upset about the kids," Draco said, helping me into one of the chairs.

"Oh, Mione, it won't be that bad." Ron said kneeling down next to me and patted my hand.

Harry pressed a kiss to my forehead. "Everything will work out, don't worry."

"But," I swallowed thickly, trying to decide if I should voice my fear. "What if we change something in the past and it changes our futures?"

"Miss Granger, you will see them again." I looked up slowly at Professor Snape. He was sitting behind his desk, his hands folded in front of him, glasses perched on his nose. "But there is always the possibility things will change. You have to be prepared for it, all of you. Time is fluid, things can change very easily."

"But I don't want anything to change." I muttered, wiping my eyes with my sleeve. Professor Snape rolled his eyes before passing his handkerchief to me. I smiled and absently wiped the corner of my eyes. "I would miss them too much if they weren't born."

"You wouldn't be human if you didn't miss them, Miss Granger." Professor Snape said pulling off his glasses. "I won't lie, none of this will be easy for any of you, but you will get to meet your kids again. They might not be the ones you know now but you will love any child you have. Don't try to deny it I know all of you better than that."

It was true, any child Draco and I would have would be loved. Professor Snape continued. "The five of you have been through a lot, and only the five of you will be able to understand it. Even if you did tell your partners about this experience they won't be able to understand how you feel. You five need to stick together so you can get though to the other side of this unscathed. It would be very easy for any of you to fall into depression and that is the last thing I want."

I looked up from my folded hands. "Professor Snape, when we go back can we talk to you about this?"

"No." He said simply, looking at me. "I have a role to play in the war. It's not easy and it would definitely be worse if I had the added weight of hiding things from the future from the Dark Lord."

"When can I talk to you about it, Uncle Severus?" Draco asked, staring at his godfather longingly.

"Once the war is finally and truly over. All of you know what you have to do and what happens during your seventh year. Neville, you lead the D.A. and the four of you will hunt for the Dark Lord's Horcruxes. You have already done it in my past but you will do it again in your future. All you really need to know is that I believe in you." I smiled tremulously and Professor Snape patted my hand. "You will be successful, I know it."

"Thank you, for everything, Professor." Harry said, running a hand through his hair.

"Of course." Professor Snape said, nodding slowly. "Now it is time to send you five home. I'm sorry, I wish you all could stay longer, but not all of the Death Eaters have been caught yet and the last thing I want is for them to try to get to you."

"We understand, Sir." Ron said, crossing his arms. "And we are ready to leave when you say so."
"Well, unfortunately, the time is now." Professor Snape said, pushing away from his desk. He had his wand in his hand and was watching us closely.

"What do we have to do?" Neville asked, standing tall and straight.

"Nothing, just stand in together in a circle and hold each other's hands," we moved around in a circle like Professor Snape asked. "All I need to do is say a simple spell."

"If it was so simple, why have we been here so long?" Ron asked, lifting his eyebrow. Professor Snape gave Ron a dark look.

"Weasley, just because it's a simple spell doesn't mean it was easy to find." Professor Snape said roughly, before clearing his throat. "Now stay still."

Snape quickly waved his wand in a zig-zag pattern muttering an incantation under his breath. Draco gripped my hand tightly and gave me a smile. I smiled nervously back. A bright blue light circled us and I had to clench my eyes shut. I knew what would happen next.

There was a loud bang and then I could feel my hair whipping around my face. I opened my eyes and immediately wished I hadn't. We were spinning around so fast everything was a blur. My stomach churned and I was afraid I would be sick.

Suddenly, we came to a stop in the potions classroom. Professor Slughorn, was trying to calm his screaming students who were running around. Potion was all over the floor and Lavender Brown was crying, her head on her desk. It was hard to take anything in, during all the ruckus.

I went to take a step forward but everything seemed to be spinning again. My stomach swooped horribly and I could feel my legs give out.

"Hermione? HERMIONE!" Draco caught me, and lowered the two of us to the floor.

"What happened? What's going on?" Professor Slughorn said, rushing to the front of the classroom. "You five disappeared, where did you go?"

But everyone was ignoring him.

"Hermione, can you hear me?" Harry asked, pulling my hand into his. "Hermione?"

"I think I'm sick," I whispered, pressing my lips together. Everything was spinning again and I vomited on Professor Slughorn's shoes.

"Those were Dragonhide!" Professor Slughorn yelled, but Draco ignored him and pulled me into his arms. "Come on, we're going to the hospital wing."

AN: Please Review! It helps so much more than you realize. Reviews make me happy and when I'm happy I think about the story more. The more I think about it the more I create new twists and turns for the story and I end up updating more. Which in the end makes everyone happy.
