And now, my lovelies, we get to pick up where we left off and enjoy more Saturday fun. Enjoy. =)

"I love ParaNorman!" Bayley excitedly said as she, Josh, and April left the movie theater.

The trio had gotten to the theater in time enough to pay for their tickets and catch the showing of ParaNorman that was going to air in ten minutes. Paying for their tickets, the three teens went to the viewing room on their ticket stubs and took their seats as the last few trailers had aired before the movie started. All throughout the movie, Bayley seemed to be doing the most reacting while Josh and April laughed at Bayley's reactions. When the movie finally ended, the three teens left with Bayley still in mid-cheer at how the movie ended.

"We can tell you loved it, sis," Josh said, laughing at his twin. "I'm sure everyone else in the theater knows you love it too."

"I wasn't that loud," Bayley said, blushing slightly. Looking over to April, Bayley asked "Was I?"

"Well, I wouldn't say you were loud, Bayley. You just got a bit too enthusiastic," April said, trying to explain herself to Bayley.

Blushing a bit deeper, Bayley pouted slightly and said "I'm sorry."

"No need to apologize, sis," Josh said, resting a hand on his twin's shoulder. "Just, next time we go to the movies, make sure you keep your outbursts contained."

"OK!" Bayley chirped. "Since I just chose one thing we can do, who wants to choose next?"

Hearing his stomach growling a little, Josh said "Well, I don't know about you two, but I could really go for something to eat right now."

Giggling at her twin, Bayley said "I agree. I think all three of us should get food now. Especially Josh, since he skipped out on breakfast this morning."

Blushing himself, Josh said "I can't help it if I woke up late this morning. Saturdays are for sleeping in; not being up at 9 in the morning."

"Just be glad mama and papa had to work today," Bayley said. "You wouldn't have been able to sleep 'til almost 12 like you got to today."

"Almost 12?" April asked Josh, surprise coloring her voice. "Good Lord, Josh. What were you doing last night before you went to sleep?"

Laughing nervously, Josh said "Would you believe it if I said I had spent a good part of the night playing Marvel vs Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds online?"

"And who, dare I ask, was so much of an opponent for you that you were pretty much quiet yelling at 2 this morning?" Bayley asked. "I woke up from a very good dream, thinking you were having a nightmare."

"I was playing against Kaitlyn and we ended up in a deadlock tie," Josh said, rubbing the back of his head. "We eventually decided to call it even at around 4 and went to sleep."

Letting out a low whistle, Bayley said "No wonder why you were grumbling about coming close and not being able to win when you were really awake."

Snickering from where she was walking on Josh's other side, April said "Sounds to me like someone's competitive edge was trying to get the better of them."

"Which is weird since Josh isn't usually so competitive with people," Bayley said, twirling a piece of hair around her finger.

"Wonder why this sudden competitiveness just flared up in him last night," April said, wondering about this herself.

"That's for me to know and for you two to never ever find out," Josh said, a pinkish blush starting to color his face.

"Mmhmm," Bayley said, grinning goofily at her twin brother with April joining in on the grinning.

Blushing even deeper, Josh walked ahead of the girls with April and Bayley laughing behind him. Stopping in front of the bakery he wanted to go to, Josh called back to the girls and said "Come on, you two. Or else neither of you is getting any lunch."

"Don't be such a meanie, Josh!" Bayley said as she and April walked over to Josh.

"It's not being mean if I don't want you to know something, sis," Josh said. Holding the door open for Bayley and April, Josh said "Just because we're twins doesn't mean that I've got to let you know everything."

Before Bayley could say anything, April stepped in and said "I think Josh is right, Bayley. Besides, don't you think stuff would get pretty boring if you and Josh were always on the same page with each other?"

Thinking over what April told her, Bayley said "Yeah, I guess you're right, April. I just worry, is all. Can't help it if I'm always trying to keep an eye out for my older brother."

"I'm only older than you by thirty minutes, Bayley," Josh said, causing himself and the two girls to laugh.

"I think that still makes you older than her. Even if you two are twins," April said.

"Whatever," Josh said, rolling his eyes at the two girls. Watching as April and Bayley took seats at an empty table, Josh said "Looks like I've got to be the one to get our stuff. Care to tell me what you two want?"

"Caramel hot chocolate and double chocolate muffin, please!" Bayley chirped.

"I'll take a hot chocolate and two chocolate chip cookies," April said.

"Got it," Josh said, nodding his head and walking over to get in line.

With Josh gone, April turned to Bayley and said "You're pretty excited for the Christmas party, aren't you, Bayley?"

"Mmhmm," Bayley said, nodding her head. "The Secret Santa stuff's pretty fun too. I'm ready to do my shopping for the person I'm Santa for and I want to know who chose my name."

"Whose name did you end up pulling?" April asked.

Shaking her head, Bayley said "Can't tell you, April. It's s'posed to be a secret, remember?"

"Oh yeah. Right," April asked. Wanting to change the subject, April asked "So, if you don't mind me asking, do you have anyone in mind for that you want to ask to the Christmas party?"

Hearing April ask this question, Bayley giggled nervously as a pinkish blush started to color her cheeks. Getting over her slight giggling fit, Bayley said "Well, I do have one person in mind that I want to ask."

"Really?" April asked, which Bayley responded to with a nod. "Who do you want to ask?"

Leaning over in her chair with her gesturing for April to do the same, Bayley said "I want to ask Zack to be my date."

"Zack's pretty cool," April said. Grinning at one of her best friends, April said "I think it's pretty cute that you want to ask Zack."

Her blush getting a bit darker, Bayley said "I just hope he'll say yes."

"He will, Bay," April said, reassuringly. "Just try not to worry about it so much."

"That's a bit easy for you to say, April," Bayley said. "You've already got a date. And it's with someone that you really like."

Really hearing Bayley's words, April asked "Bayley. Is the reason why you seem so nervous about asking Zack to be your date to the party because you really like him?"

Blush full-force on her face, Bayley bit her lip and, hanging her head slightly, squeaked out "Yes!"

Seeing one of her best friends like this, April smiled a soft smile and said "Bayley. Bayley, look at me." Once she had Bayley's attention, April said "There's nothing wrong with having a crush on someone and really liking them. And, if I can say anything, I think Zack's a good fit for you."

Looking over to April, Bayley returned April's smile and, hugging April, said "Thanks for the advice, April. It's just, I'm nervous. What if I ask him and he says no to me?"

"I highly doubt that that'll happen, Bayley. You're too awesome and too cute to say no to," April said, earning a few giggles from Bayley. "But, since you're so nervous, I'll go with you to ask Zack. That way, you can have a buddy there with you."

"Really, April? You'd do that for me?" Bayley asked, perking up slightly. Seeing the nod from April, Bayley hugged April again said "Thanks, April!"

Returning Bayley's hug, April said "Don't mention it. That's what friends are for."

"What are friends for?" Josh asked, taking the other empty seat at the table and setting down the drink tray and what they were going to eat.

"Nothing really, Joshie," Bayley said, grinning innocently at her twin. "Just girl stuff we were talking about.

...

"Take that, you pink son of a bitch!" Phil yelled at his TV screen, his fingers furiously working over his controller.

When Phil had gotten back home, Colt decided to stay over at his house and play Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3 on XBox 360. Some time later, before he knew it, Phil was letting Kofi, Matt, Jeff, Zack, Evan, John, Chris, and Corey into his house. After getting comfortable, the boys decided to spend the rest of their Saturday playing video games with each other. While Phil felt he should be spending this time finishing coloring the rest of the panels of 'Fighting for Their Tomorrow', he decided to take the rest of his Saturday off so that he could relax and just hang out with his friends.

"You shall not win, monkey boy!" Colt yelled back, his fingers moving even faster. Pressing in the right combination to perform one of his character's special attacks, Colt yelled "Ape flavored chocolate! My favorite!"

Watching as his character's health meter dropped down to zero as Colt's character did one of his special attacks, Phil yelled "Son of a bitch!"

"Aww, yeah!" Colt yelled, fist pumping the air. "Grand DBZ master in the house!"

"You got lucky, Colt," Phil said, passing the controller over to Evan. "Next time, I'm stomping your ass."

"Oh, to dream. Must be nice to have such crazy dreams," Colt said, going to the character select screen to begin his match against Evan.

Laughing as he rolled his eyes, Phil decided go sit on the couch as Colt and Evan started their next match. Looking over to see Jeff reading what he had finished of his and April's comic book, Phil asked "So, what do you think, Jeff?"

"This is a pretty cool read," Jeff said. "Are you sure you didn't meet April before this and suggest she write this story?"

"Do you honestly think I could come up with a story like this on my own?" Phil asked, cutting a sarcastic glance over at the rainbow-haired teen.

"I thought you were a big believer of the whole 'You can do whatever you put your mind to' bs," Jeff said, laughing. "After all, aren't you the one that's pretty much been saying that you're the best at whatever the hell it is you do?"

Shrugging as a smirk crossed his face, Phil said "I can't help it if it's true. Besides, shouldn't you be back at your place helping Alex deal with her new lip piercing?"

"Lexi's fine," Jeff said. "She said she and Kait were going to head back home and just spend the rest of the day marathoning movies. So, that should keep them occupied for a good few hours."

Laughing, Phil said "Well, it's like they always say. When in doubt, always rely on movies to distract the kids."

Laughing himself, Jeff said "Yeah. Couldn't be anymore right about that, man."

"Plus if they run out of DVD movies to watch, they can always abuse Netflix," Matt said. "Just so much to distract our girls with and so seemingly little time."

Phil almost said something when Colt's yelling caught his, Matt, and Jeff's attention.

"Damn it! How the hell did I lose to Krillin of all people?!" Colt yelled.

"Your mistake was transforming into a Great Ape with Vegeta," Evan said, laughing. "Don't you know that Great Apes are slower than most other characters? Hell, even Majin Buu can move faster than the Great Apes can."

"I was banking on Vegeta's Great Ape strength carrying me to a win. Guess I got a bit desparate there," Colt said, scratching the back of his neck.

"Well, your desperation didn't pay off," Evan said. "Now, pass the controller on, Colt."

Grumbling, Colt handed the controller to Corey as he moved to sit at one end of the coffee table. Digging around in his pants pocket, Colt dug out the slip with the name of the person he had to do Secret Santa shopping for. "I really don't feel like trying to shop," Colt said.

"Now, Colt," Chris said. "Christmas shopping isn't that bad. You just need to stay away from the obvious Christmas crap and you'll be set."

Moaning, Colt said "That's easy for you to say, Chris. You've had more experience shopping for people than I do. Usually when any kind of shopping has to happen, I stay at home, on my ass, raiding my fridge and watching Syfy all day."

"Well, at least with this, you get the experience in doing so," Chris said, smirking at Colt.

Hearing the two boys go back and forth about Secret Santa shopping had Phil thinking about when he had to do his own. Reaching into his pants pocket, Phil pulled out the slip and looked at the name again. 'I feel that Mary may have set me up. Either that or I've got some crazy luck and just so happened to pull my girlfriend's name,' Phil thought. 'Oh well. It's just shopping for a few little things for April and having to keep them secret from her. There's no way I can screw this up.'

...

It was a little before 8 o'clock when April, Josh, and Bayley had made it back to their houses. After they had left the bakery they went to for their after-movie lunch, the three had decided to go out and, as part of April's choice, decided to do some of their Secret Santa shopping early with each of the three brunettes getting one present each for the person they had chosen. Happy with their choices, the three had spent the rest of their day just spending time with each other and window shopping in other stores in the hopes of getting ideas for the next present they would buy. Heading home, the three talked about their plans for trying to find a way to slip their presents into their person's locker Monday. By the time they reached April's house, the three had their own ideas and decided to go their separate ways. Saying their goodbyes, Josh and Bayley headed home as April opened and closed her gate and walked up to her front door. Opening and closing her door, April stood in the entryway to her house and, looking in the bag to look out at what she had bought from The Raven's Nest, bit her lip and thought 'I'm now in panic mode. I have to do Secret Santa shopping for my boyfriend, who I didn't even count on pulling, and so far the only thing I've bought for him is a CD. I just hope he'll like it.'

Aren't Saturdays the best? Filled with fun, shopping, and friends, there's no better way to spend them (well, chilling at home can be just as good, but that's beside the point). I wanted this chapter to mostly just be about the different ways April and Phil decided to spend the rest of their own Saturday. And, let's look at how they spent their Saturday. April went out with Josh and Bayley, slightly teased Josh about liking Kaitlyn, helped Bayley get her confidence up about asking Zack to the Christmas party, and they did a bit of Secret Santa shopping. Phil decided to stay at home and take a break from working on the comic book by playing some good ol' DBZ with Colt and some of the other guys (because nothing says male chillin' like playing video games). And, as you guys have read, I've already given away one Secret Santa pair...the rest shall be revealed later. Next chapter's going to be all about Monday in school and the freaks roaming around the school and trying to use their ninja stealth to get into each others' lockers and leave the first of their three small Secret Santa gifts behind. Until then, don't forget to R&R please. =)

(Just to clear this up, the DBZ game Phil and the boys were playing was disc one that was released for the XBox360 that was pretty much a rerelease of two of the Budokai games that were released on the PS2 a few years ago. Phil was playing with Kid Gohan, Colt was playing with Super Buu, Evan was playing with Krillin, and Colt was playing with Vegeta in his second match. Pretty fun fighting game too, I might add. ^^)
