Alright guys, so my plan was to get you guys a four chapter finale, but I fell short on the third chapter, so I decided to extend it and make this the final chapter of the story. There will be another note at the bottom about my next original Power Ranger story, Power Rangers: Data Surge *PRDS*! It will be all original except for some characters from this season reappearing as cameos or so. Now, there will be some cameos from my future rangers in this chapter, and not only from my next story, but the one I have planned for after that, Power Rangers: Guardians Of The Galaxy *PRGG* (yes, I planned ahead). Yes, these future rangers have already appeared, but I'll put their actors and actresses in case you forgot.
Cameo by...
Nicholas 'Nick' Scott portrayed by Beau Mirchoff (PRDS)
Jordyn (Yes, I changed the spelling) Stewart portrayed by Emma Watson (PRDS)
Renee Hyde portrayed by Georgia May Foote (PRDS)
October Adams portrayed by Emma Stone (PRGG)
Rhydian 'Ryder' Adams portrayed by Tyler Posey (PRGG)
Last time on Power Rangers Dino Squad
Meanwhile, at AD, Kyro and Liela watched as the building the rangers were in exploded with wide eyes.
"They're gone." She said, though it came out as more of a question. The rangers had been through a lot, and survived a lot that most normal people wouldn't have.
Kyro didn't respond. He didn't know. Then, AD began to rumble. "What's going on?" Liela asked as she clutched a table to stay standing. "We can't have earthquakes here." AD was built on a special land that was disconnected from the rest of the city. It was impossible to have any earthquakes to damage the building.
"I don't know." Kyro looked out the window and saw them.
Deboss stood in front of his three generals, Endolf, Dogold, and Aigaron, as he blasted the building with Aigaron's blaster. "We need to stop them!" Liela yelled as chunks of the roof fell down around them.
Kyro stared out the window, and saw something in the distance. He shook his head. "No."
"What?" Liela's eyes widened. "Are you kidding me?"
Kyro watched as the figure in the distance blasted the three generals into non-existence and then faced Deboss. It was Chaos, and he had Deboss' staff. Suddenly, a loud BANG sounded out and Deboss flew back into the building.
Outside, Chaos laughed in glee, seeing all of the generals and Deboss down for the count. "Well, that was easier than I thought. Now, to destroy AD and then the rest of the world!"
He blasted the top of AD, which was already crumbling, and watched as it crumbled to the ground with everyone inside. He turned away and walked back towards the city with a sick smile on his face.
Now
*Five Days Later*
Matt had been walking around for days. The town was destroyed and school was not in session, but graduation was still a bit later that day. The majority of the people stayed indoors or at the hospital where practically half the town was. The explosion had occurred in the middle of town and many people were hurt. Matt was surprised he wasn't dead, however, multiple people that had attended prom that night were killed.
Matt had not even regained consciousness until nearly two days after the explosion and had yet to see any of the other rangers, not that he could walk on the first day he had of consciousness.
However, he saw the trail leading up to AD and smiled.
It was late at night, or rather early in the morning. About 4 or 5 am. It was dark, but Matt could make out the shape of AD. Or at least, the ruins of it.
"Matt!" He turned around and saw Aria and Alice stumbling up then trail and practically ran into him for a hug. "Are you alright?"
"More or less. You guys?" Matt asked, looking them over worriedly.
"We've been better." Alice answered and Aria nodded. "Have you seen any of the others?"
Matt shook his head. "No, sorry."
"I think we should go to AD, you know, tell Kyro what's going on." Alice said, and Matt nodded. "Let's go."
They walked slowly up the path to AD and hen they got there, their jaws dropped. "We have to find the others." Matt ordered and the girls nodded, breaking out of their trance.
They began to run down the hill and onto the beach, the only place they hadn't been yet.
~PRDS~
Spencer was walking down the beach, looking for his brother, Matt, Aria, or Alice. He had found the others besides them, and he was worried. It had been five days since he had seen his girlfriend, brother, his brother's girlfriend, or his friend and leader. Since he was gone, Scott had been put in charge, and had allowed Spencer to leave the campfire to go and find them. Their communicators weren't working and they were getting frustrated by the lack of knowledge they had about the other four missing rangers.
Spencer walked a bit further, rolling his morpher over in his hand as he walked. The weird thing was that their morphers still worked, but they couldn't call the other rangers. They had tried everything, but nothing worked.
Finally, Spencer saw a curled up male figure on his side laying on the beach. His heart clenched and he ran towards who he could tell was his brother. He fell to his knees beside him and shook him slightly. Reese awoke with a start.
"Spencer?" He exclaimed excitedly, wrapping his arms around his brother, happy to see him majorily okay, besides a few injuries here and there.
"Are you alright?" Spencer looked him over with wide eyes, hoping he was okay.
"I'm fine Spencer." Reese assured him, putting his hands on his shoulders.
"But you were..."
"I was resting. I woke up days ago. I haven't seen any of the others though." Reese told him. "Are you alright?"
Spencer nodded, happy to see him. The two stood up and brushed themselves off. "I'm with the others. I haven't seen Matt, Alice, or Aria though."
"At least we have the others though. And, you know they'll find us eventually." Reese told him, hope shining in his eyes.
Spencer hesitated for a second, then spoke up, "How do you think this will all play out?"
"What do you mean?" Reese asked.
"I mean the next battle. This could be the last battle we ever have." Spencer said. "How do you think it'll play out."
"Hopefully, good." He said as they approached the fire. As they did, they saw Matt, Aria, and Alice coming towards the fire as well.
"Guys!" Robin called out, running towards the three and engulfing them in hugs as Spencer and Reese walked up. "Thank God you guys are okay! We were so worried! Come, come, sit down."
Robin led them over to the logs they had set up to sit on while Spencer led his brother to another one. They all sat around the fire in silence for a moment before Matt spoke up.
"AD is gone." He said quietly, but it was heard by every ranger. "And so is Kyro and Liela, and anyone else inside. They're all gone."
"What?" Scott's jaw dropped. "How do you know?"
"We saw it." Aria said, her eyes not meeting any of the other rangers' gazes. "AD was crumbled to the ground, there's no way anyone inside could've survived." She sniffed, feeling the tears coming on.
The rangers sat in silence. "That's it. We've lost." Robin said.
"She's right. Without Kyro and Liela, we have nothing. No home, no mentor, nothing." Jesse's head hung low.
"Shut up!" James suddenly exploded.
Everyone stared at him in shock. "James..." Matt started, but James cut him off strongly.
"Don't give me that kind of bullshit!" James yelled, standing up on his log. "I lost more than any of you ever will! My parents are demons! My younger sister is barely alive! My best friend just got killed and I have no idea where my girlfriend is in all of this! For all I know, she could've been killed! My life is ruined, but yours isn't! You guys have families and friends and each other, and besides you guys I have nothing. You think it sucks that Kyro is gone? Well this is the second time I've experienced it! Don't feel sorry for yourselves. Have any of you ever seen me doing that? No! Now get up and rise against evil with me or don't, but I'm going either way."
The rangers were silent for a moment, and James scoffed and shook his head, turning around and beginning to stalk off.
"Wait!" Matt yelled, standing.
James turned around and held his arms out. "What's it gonna be?"
"We're coming." He gave each of them a hard look, letting them know that there was no backing out. The others nodded and stood, running up to James. "After all, you would miss us."
James gave them a small smile and the group of nine walked up to the street and began walking around. The city was in ruins. Cars were over turned, buildings and house crumbling, and the streets practically destroyed. There were potholes and crevices big enough to kill a person if they fell in, and in some cases, there were.
The rangers all took in the city around them in horror, the girls leaning into their boyfriends for support as they walked through the city, trying to ignore the deceased humans and seriously injured ones.
"NO!" A girl, about the age of 15 screamed as her older brother tried to pry her away from the dead bodies of what the rangers could assume were the bodies of their parents. Robin felt immense guilt at this, seeing as they were October and Ryder Adams, people she had saved from a battle long before, and now their parents were dead because she couldn't save them.
"This is the end, isn't it?" Matt asked James as they walked side by side.
James nodded with his lips pursed. "Now the only question is if we win or lose."
"I think lose would be appropriate." The rangers heard a sickening voice behind them and turned to see Chaos behind them. "Did you rangers miss me?"
"We've never even fought you before." Jesse growled.
"Yes, however, you have fought me." Chaos suddenly shifted into Will and the rangers' jaws dropped.
"No way." Nathan whispered. "You absorbed Chaos?"
Will laughed. "Dear boy, you are mistaken. It is the exact opposite." He shifted back into Chaos. "I absorbed him after he was gravely injured in the last battle."
"What do you want, Chaos?" Matt asked. "Why do you want to destroy the Earth?"
Chaos smiled sickeningly. "For fun." He took out Deboss' staff and blasted at them.
"Dino Squad, Power Up!"
Out of the smoke, the rangers stood morphed.
"Power of the Tyrannosaurus!"
"Power of the Parasaurolophus!"
"Power of the Stegosaurus!"
"Power of the Velociraptor!"
"Power of the Triceratops!"
"Power of the Pterodactyl!"
"Power of the Ankylosaurus!"
"Power of the Plesiosaurus!"
"Power of the Pachycephalosaurus!"
"Power of the Brachiosaurus!"
The all stood together with their swords drawn as an explosion appeared behind them. "Power Rangers: Dino Squad!"
Chaos growled under his breath, them yelled, "Zorima!"
Suddenly, all of the remaining foot soldiers surrounded them, and Chaos watched with glee as the rangers fought against them.
Matt, Spencer, and Alice stood back to back in a triangle formation, shooting their blasters at the Zorima that got near them.
"Duck!" Alice yelled as a Zorima got too close and tried to take their heads off. Alice stabbed at the Zorima with his sword, then threw it at the others near her. Then, she pulled away from the boys and flipped over into a pile of Zorima and began slashing, shooting, and stabbing at them on her own.
Jesse, Robin, and James were in a similar situation, except they weren't back to back, which seemed to be a mistake when a Zorima slammed the hilt of it's sword into James' back and made him fall down.
Jesse and Robin immediately ran over to assist him, pulling various Zorima off of him and throwing them at others nearby to keep them away.
Scott, Nathan, and Aria were the last ones, and seemed to be doing the best. Aria was thrown down by a Zorima but caught its neck between her ankles and threw it over her head into a pile of the rest of them, then flipped over back onto her feet, shooting other Zorima as she did.
Nathan was fighting near Scott. As a Zorima swung at him, Nathan disappeared to avoid the hit. The Zorima around him seemed confused when he suddenly reappeared high up in the air and spun, shooting them all as he came down. Scott watched him, as Nathan had also destroyed all of the remaining Zorima and regrouped with the others.
Alice brought her sword down, only to be ambushed by Zorima, who grabbed her and dragged her back, trapping her in a circle of them. She grabbed one of them and pulled in through, making it crash into another one on the other side of the circle. She took out her blaster and began to blast them, but one behind her grabbed it and threw it to the side, out of reach. She reached for her sword, but could no longer find it at her side. She began looking frantically for it and the Zorima grabbed at her, but to no avail. It was gone. She began to punch and kick at the foot soldiers, trying to get away, but more began surrounding her.
Spencer ripped Zorima from her and threw her her sword, and she began to stab and slash at the Zorima that got too close, or already were. Spencer was blasting most of the Zorima away easily. He picked one up and slammed it into the others before throwing the body up into the air towards the middle of the army of Zorima.
One caught him off guard and grabbed his blaster, almost forcing it out of his hand before he took out his sword and plunged it straight into the monster's body. "Who's next?" He questioned, looking around. He quickly began beating on the others as well.
Meanwhile, Jesse was also having trouble with the army of Zorima surrounding him. He was on the ground with all of them pointing their swords at him. Suddenly, some of the Zorima on his right side jolted and their heads flew off, leaving their bodies to fall to the floor. Jesse was relieved to see Robin standing their with her sword in hand. She proceeded to do the same to the rest of the Zorima, and then helped him up.
Scott was slamming through Zorima with his fists, not feeling the need to use his weapons for this. He punched a Zorima in it's 'face,' shattering it into many little pieces. He picked up the biggest shard and shoved it into another Zorima as it rushed at him. He kicked the next Zorima in the head and turned in time to catch another off guard as he slammed his fist into it.
Jesse and Robin stood back to back in the middle of a circle of Zorima, fighting them off quickly together. Jesse grabbed one of them and threw it up in the air before striking it as it came down. Robin smirked at him.
"That the best you've got?" She joked, grabbing a Zorima and slicing it in half perfectly before taking the two halves and hitting the other Zorima on the sides of her with them.
The Zorima were finally destroyed, and Chaos growled. "You rangers are good but not good enough!"
He stood still as the rangers came at him. Chaos kicked and shoved and punched and threw the rangers away from him with little ease and a lot of force. Aria, Alice, and Robin got back up first and ran at him but he caught them all with his staff and they flew to the side and into Nathan and Scott, who were just getting up.
"We need to fight him!" Matt yelled and the rangers forced themselves to their feet.
The rangers all spread out as he swung his staff them, however, he didn't miss. He stopped and hit his staff with his hand, and sparks flew off of the ranger's suits, knocking them to the ground.
They quickly recovered and stood back up when Chaos' eyes flashed and another blast was sent their way. They groaned from the ground.
Matt, however, used his sword as leverage and stood back up, charging at him. He swung at him, but the hit was avoid nimbly. Chaos punched him in the stomach and tried to blast him, but Matt ducked and slashed at his legs, causing him to fall to the ground.
Chaos flipped back up onto his feet and swung his staff upwards, making the red ranger fly back to where the other rangers stood. Jesse and Spencer went to help Matt while the others ran at the monster.
Chaos ducked and flipped out of the way of the attacks. Scott growled in frustration. "He moves too fast."
"Just keep trying!" James called, but his words were not helpful when he himself got thrown back into a tree and demorphed.
Scott ran forward angrily with Nathan and they both slashed at him together but he ducked and kicked his leg out, knocking them off of their feet before stepping on Nathan's back. However, the gray ranger disappeared to his shock. Scott's sword came up and hit him, but only slightly. Chaos grabbed his sword with his free hand and threw it off to the side and then grabbed him by the neck. "This always seems to happen to you with generals, doesn't it, black ranger?" He threw him to the side and he demorphed upon impact.
Nathan then reappeared, very angry, and came down, slashing him with his sword. Chaos cried out in pain and anger. He slashed him with his staff and threw him to the side next to Scott, and he demorphed.
Aria, Alice, and James came up next and they blasted at his back, causing a burn. He turned and blasted them back in response. They demorphed before they hit the ground.
Then, it was Jesse, Spencer, Robin, and Reese. They came at him, guns blazing and swords drawn, but he took them down easily with a few hits from his staff and a blast from his hands.
All of the rangers were now demorphed and at his mercy.
Except one, however, Chaos didn't seem to notice.
Chaos enclosed on the downed rangers, ready for the finishing move. "Get.. away.. from.. them." Matt demanded, his voice shaking from rage and injury. He was behind Chaos, with his sword in hand. All that was on his mind was: destroy Chaos once and for all.
As he stepped forward, his legs shook uneasily under his weight, and with every step, it got harder to take the next. Chaos laughed. "You actually think you can destroy me?" He scoffed. "Only in your dreams."
Chaos stepped forward and threw Matt to the ground without much effort. He stepped in front of Matt with a sick smirk plastered onto his face. "What a tragic way to die, isn't it?" He brought up his staff. "Too bad you'll never see me kill your friends." He brought it down and Matt held his sword up, countering his move with his own. Chaos pushed down and the ground beneath Matt began to crack as Matt demorphed from the pressure. He threw Chaos off of him and ran to the others, helping them up.
"Dino Squad, Power up!"
As they pressed the button on their morphers, however, they didn't morph. James knew exactly what was happening. "Chaos absorbed our powers. When he came in contact with us, he must have stole our powers, and that's why we can't morph."
"Well what are we supposed to do?" Jesse asked as Chaos got to his feet with a smirk.
"Yes, rangers, what are you going to do?" Chaos asked with a laugh.
"I know exactly what we're going to do." Matt said. "Tyranno Spirit!" He called, and all of a sudden, a red ghostly version of the Tyrannosaurus appeared and the others knew instantly what he was doing.
"Para Spirit!"
"Stego Spirit!"
"Raptor Spirit!"
"Tricera Spirit!"
"Ptera Spirit!"
"Ankylo Spirit!"
"Plesio Spirit!"
"Pachy Spirit!"
"Brachio Spirit!"
Suddenly, all nine of the spirits appeared and ran forward, sweeping through Chaos. The rangers all stared as the spirits disappeared and they didn't see Chaos. He was finally gone and the war was over.
It took a minute to register in the rangers' minds that it was over, but when it did they all leap into the air and cheered and hugged.
"You know what it's time for?" Scott asked, a smirk on his face. "Graduation."
~PRDS~
Since AD had collapsed, the three graduating rangers did not have their cap and gowns, let alone any other clothes to wear than the one they were wearing, which had been their prom dresses and tuxes. Their clothes were ripped and dirtied and torn and bloody, but they didn't care.
"Arianna Cale." Aria's name was called and everyone looked around, wondering where she was. The name was called again, and the three graduating rangers walked in through the middle isle of the graduates, and people gasped and stared. Because of their videos, everyone now knew about them, and they were shocked.
Reese and James sat down in their designated seats and watched as Aria walked up to the stage and took her diploma from Mr. Bell. The valedictorian was in the hospital so he was giving out the diplomas to the students who could make it.
The other rangers stood off to the side and watched various people go up to get their diplomas. They were the only people there besides the graduates. No one wanted to leave the safety of their homes, not even to watch their children graduate.
"James Lacey." James walked up to the stage and took his diploma.
Various other people were called. "Reese Morgan." Reese smiled as he stood up and walked up to the stage and received his diploma. He greeted Aria with a kiss as he walked off of the stage.
Everyone else graduated and then, they moved the tassels on their hats to the opposite side and threw their hats up in the air.
They three graduating ex-rangers cheered and ran over to hug the others. "I can't believe it!" Aria cried. "We not only saved the world, but graduated in the same day!"
They all celebrated as confetti began to ran down on them.
~PRDS~
Meanwhile, the ruins of AD began to shake and shift, and then exploded. Out of the explosion appeared a new building, looking to be fancier than AD and more technologically advanced.
"If I had known you could do that, I wouldn't have been freaking out." Liela said as Kyro and her stood side by side, looking out of one of the large glass walls of the new building.
"If I had told you, then it wouldn't have been a surprise." Kyro smiled. "This is the command center, and our new base of operations."
"It's amazing." Liela complimented.
Kyro nodded and turned to the monitors, for once seeing them clear of any distress. However, that changed suddenly. A powerful source popped up on the screen in an unknown location.
"What is that?" Liela asked.
"It's time." Kyro said, continuing to stare at the monitors.
"It's time? Time for what?" She asked, frowning.
Ryan came out of the backroom with three teenagers. "Nick, Jordyn, Renee," Kyro addressed them, walking up to them. "Your first mission is coming up."
And that is it! This season is officially over and done with. I will post the next story as soon as possible.
The next story is Power Rangers: Data Surge and will still take place in Sol Valley at the beginning of the next school year. Yes, characters from this season will appear in the next season, and I will assure you that the next season will be a lot better than this one. Trust me. I already have most of my ideas planned, but someone asked me about OCs. I will not be needing OCs for any rangers, villains, or mentors, but I will need some for allies. If you don't have any, that's fine. I can come up with them on my own, but if you do have any ideas, let me know in the reviews!
Next time on Power Rangers: A new computer virus threatens to destroy our world. Our only hope is three superhuman teenagers who will rise up and save the world!
Bye guys! See you next season!
