The next day was the day of the party.

Only time could tell how the party could progress, but if there was anything that was sure for anything started by Minato and his friends, it was that the party was going to be hella hectic. What with all the people that were going to go to the party and just what the identities of said people entailed, it was sure that it was going to be an interesting party.

"Kanashi, how did you get in here with that?" Yukari asked with a deadpan. It wasn't in her nature to deadpan at all, and yet this situation that she had just found had to be one of the strangest things that she had ever encountered. Actually, she wasn't sure why she wasn't getting angry at Kanashi, so that was what she did. "You aren't supposed to just ride in here with your motorcycle! That's just crazy!"

"Eh," Kanashi shrugged, throwing a sympathetic look to his motorcycle before bending down and patting it. That was right; patting it. "I'm sure she didn't mean that," he mumbled. "Anyways, this baby's here because I have a bad feeling about today, so if people (me) have to get out in a jiffy, then they can use this one."

Yukari was gobsmacked at the situation. Of all things that she had gotten into the dorm to, she never would've expected a motorcycle to be inside the dorm lobby, just sitting there. "But Kanashi, you're leaving a total mess everywhere! The reason we were having a small party was so that there wouldn't be much to clean up after!" Yukari said, leaving out Kanashi's honorific in her speech as she was flustered.

"…I don't live here, so I kinda don't care," Kanashi said nonchalantly.

"What the hell's all the rac-" Minato said, rubbing his head as he came down the stairs with a still prominent bedhead. "Kanashi, why is there a motorcycle in the lobby?" he asked incredulously. That was just about the weirdest thing that he had woken up to, that was for sure. Even stranger than the time he found Yukari in his ro—

"Because! I want it there!" Kanashi replied simply, seemingly not bothered to have to explain the reason why he wanted/needed the motorcycle with him.

And with that, a grey-white blur jumped just in front of Kanashi with a happy face and a windscreen-like tail. Of course, it was Koromaru, and he gave out a cheerful bark.

Kanashi stepped back, glaring at the dog slightly and gathering some space. "Oh. It's you again," he muttered, looking down at Koromaru with a grimace. "You're lucky you're cute, you know that?" he growled.

Koromaru barked and jumped onto Kanashi and repeatedly licked his face. Kanashi… did nothing. "This is annoying," he mumbled. "So why can't I refuse to hang out with you?"

"Well… that happened," Minato said quietly. "So, do you know when the rest are coming Yukari?"

"Uh well… they should be coming around late afternoon," Yukari explained. "So that means, Kanashi-kun's early," she sighed.

"Oh, I see," Minato said, trying to stifle a yawn. "Well, I guess I'm up, so I might as well get ready…" he said with a tired tone.

"Yeah," Yukari sighed.

"Why's there a motorcycle in the lobby?" another voice asked. Ken.

"Whaddaya mean there's a motorcycle in the lo-" Junpei poked his head into the doorframe, finding what Ken was asking. "I have no idea," he admitted.

"There's a motorcycle in the lobby?" Fuuka asked as she came back from the mall to get some supplies ready. "Oh my!" she gasped, seeing the Suzuki Hayabusa sitting next to the couch, almost comfortably so.

"It appears to be so,"Aigis commented as she walked past. "I don't suppose we can move it out, can we?" she mumbled, looking at the admittedly impressive bike.

"Let's just… get ready," Minato sighed as he finally went back to his room to change.

A few hours later, Minato had finally gotten ready and he was in some casual clothes for the party. Without even bothering to look himself over in the mirror, he came down, finding that the lobby was a bit more party suited with some more food than before, drinks… and a few more friends than before.

"Oh, Minato!" he heard a familiar voice call.

"Hey Kenji. Rio-chan," Minato nodded at the two. Kenji seemed to be in some casual clothes, with jacket, jeans and shirt. However, Rio actually looked to be prettied up, which was almost an impossibility, considering how much more focused she was on tennis than she was on a lot of other things. After all, beauty wasn't a main point in tennis that could help you to score some more. That is, she had a beige tank top and was wearing a denim skirt that went about two-thirds down to her knees. And yet… she still had her signature ponytail. Should've figured.

"Hello Minato," Rio waved.

"So, how do you think the party's gonna go?" Kenji smirked. "Wanna do that thing we tried while we were cleaning up for the culture festival?"

"Well…" Minato tried to remember exactly what Kenji was talking about, before he realized what he was referring to. "I dunno, my skill with jokes isn't that consistent…" he sighed, rubbing the back of his head.

"Ah, man, we can still try, right?" Kenji laughed a little.

"I guess… well, if we get time, and if I don't slip up," Minato smiled slightly.

"Hey, wasn't that moment the same time when Chihiro and Yuko almost caught you out for dating both of them be-" Kenji said as he started to recollect more of the big culture festival clean up.

Minato paled and gave Kenji a look saying a huge 'no' as he shook his head and moved his hand sideways across his neck, imitating getting a knife slit into his throat.

"Oh, never mind," Kenji chuckled nervously, getting the message.

After some discussion about how the school year was going, four other new members entered the fray; Chihiro, Yuko, Kaz and Chidori with Junpei. Junpei wasn't considered exactly a new member to the dorm after all.

"Hey guys," Minato said casually with a slight smile at the five.

"Hello Minato-kun," Yuko smiled and waved.

"Yo," Kaz sent Minato a two fingered salute.

"Hi, Minato-kun," Chihiro laughed slightly.

However, Chidori merely sent him a nod of acknowledgement. Ah, she was as blunt and curt as always.

Minato nodded at them all, knowing that with the few amounts of food and bits of entertainment brought by a select few, it was going to be a chaotic party.

The last people to come down were Yashiro and Nyx.

Nyx was one of the last, for the purpose of the party, and Yashiro came later because well… he didn't exactly enjoy parties that much. But Yashiro decided to come just because his friends were there, so it would probably be some kind of worthwhile, even if he preferred to train and just hang out at home.

Even Mitsuru and Akihiko had come earlier, and they didn't live at the dorm anymore. They had already graduated after all.

Yashiro, Kanashi, Junpei and Kenji were playing video games all together at the TV, swapping between a few games like God Of War and Def Jam. Kaz wasn't exactly played because of how into video games he was. That is, he wasn't and he just watched them. Kanashi couldn't bother to switch to the Wii at all, thinking about the quality of the games on said console, so the rest were left to their own games like Punch Out and Donkey Kong. Many curses were heard that night from almost all parties.

Rio, Yukari, Fuuka, Aigis, Yuko, Chidori and Chihiro were left to talk more about school. Between the five of them, even though they were all girls, none of them actually had that much in common. However, school clubs and activities were all things that they could talk about and they did so with much ardour. Well, that is, besides Chidori. Unfortunately, she didn't actually attend their school, so she was more asking questions about it, seeing as she had nothing much to do.

Mitsuru and Akihiko were left to their own devices as they discussed how they were going with their studies. Which was quite well in fact. While Mitsuru was determined to get through managing the Kirijo group, Akihiko was planning on getting some experience to become a police officer, if they were going to start the Shadow Operatives. It could have been something useful for anything that could have popped up.

Then there was Minato and Nyx.

Perhaps, needless to say, but Nyx was beautiful. She didn't even seem to put that much effort into what she was wearing with her shirt and jeans, and she certainly wasn't expecting a party being held right beneath her feet. Granted, no-one actually told her about since it was supposed to be more of a surprise, but she hopped down anyways, finding everything quite livelier around the dorm lobby than she was used to.

And Minato was staying around with Nyx, discussing the party itself. Because such an event had piqued her interest and it was no wonder; she never really went to any parties before, even the ones that Zeus himself held when he was bored.

She had been a few times, but she never found them particularly exciting. Dionysus was off his rocker as usual, and Poseidon was with a different girl every time… Athena was too serious for her own good, so she never participated, and Aphrodite. Oh, Aphrodite. Nyx never liked her. She was far too precocious in her opinion. Nyx at parties, never really said much. After all, it was time spent worrying about when the chariots were going to be released and whether her sons were going to get into trouble again, or if her daughters were going to cause trouble itself. Eris had a knack for doing that.

"So, can you explain why this party is on?" Nyx asked succinctly.

"Because, the girls thought that you needed some more coaxing into socializing with people…" Minato explained just as quickly, the explanation accompanied with a sigh.

"Do you all really think that?" Nyx laughed mirthfully. "I should have known," she chuckled.

"Guess you should have," Minato nodded. "So, you gonna take some time to explain to Kanashi about what happened about that prank? And yes, Aigis did tell me about it, so don't ask," he said tiredly. Somehow like Nyx, Minato was never one for parties. He became fatigued from those kinds of events very easily. Not to mention gorging himself on some of the food also contributed to his slack.

"Perhaps, but I do not believe that this is a pleasant time to try," Nyx said with a blank expression. It was almost as if she was trying to keep herself from smiling, but Minato still wondered if it was his imagination. After all, the room was darkened more than usual, so it could've just been a passing thought.

However, that was all interrupted, almost at quite the perfect moment:

The dorm doors were busted open, and several figures stood in the doorway. One of whom Kanashi recognized, and it made his rage start to boil right under his skin.

"Oh crap," Yashiro mumbled.

Minato's eyes widened and he stood up, tensing his muscles.

Nyx? She smirked.

AN: Here we go! Two Fall Out Boy references in a row, and shit's gonna hit the fan! Sorry for the crappy party scene… I'd never go to one myself and because I've never had to either.

Plz box me yo thoughts, I'd appreciate it!

Imma see ya guys later.

Eivexst: Ahahaha, that is because of that. Just above the AN.
Well, it was decided on before Kanashi kind of… well, angered Nyx. Oh well.

Raidou: Indeedly so.

Yoshikunitsu: Haha, I guess it is. The closer the characters get, the better the fluff gets. Well, no promises.
Hahaha, yes, it is true. It wasn't supposed to be kept a secret (I made it painfully obvious) but it's just so that NYX doesn't know.
Yes, it'll be fun.
Sure will.

TrueXSong: Well, Nyx isn't that immature, even if she has some serious anger issues… besides, she only said that she'll bring the Fall if her mortal form dies or if she isn't convinced by the end of the year. Kanashi's just taking advantage of that. And well, if she gets angry enough that she has to end all of humanity, we can basically say that Kanashi won even if he's part of the Lost. That is his game after all.

Nights: Haha, indeed.
Very. Veeeery slight. Mothercanucker, yup.
Sure will.

Anon: Then hope you enjoy it, even if the end isn't what you might expect.
Oh good. It was supposed to be…
Haha, yeah, but Minato may not get that much of a chance to try until a few later chapters, after all, Nyx hasn't told Kanashi about the circumstances yet.
Yeah, I know.

(Yashiro) Question 1: What got you so into Tarot cards?

Yashiro: Tarot is cool and interesting, that's all.

(Kanashi) Question 2: Is there anything that you like?

Kanashi: Aside from my motorcycle… I like ghost stories and creepy shit. It's also fun to mess with people. Now that's awesome.

Kanashi: Kanashi declares any fan of his awesome.

Nyx: …I have fans? If I do, they have my surprise. Now they better go away and leave me in peace before I send a spell their way…
