Chapter 29: A Path to Blake's Heart…

… is in great danger from being extinguished.

-(Beacon Academy, Outer Campus)-

(Wyvern's POV)

The Next Day, after I came across a faunus who happened to be Blake's childhood friend, I once again saw the two of them with each other outside, sitting on the bench near the air pad. Sitting on my own around twenty yards away from them, I watched as Blake was hearing out Llyweilun's story about when he was away from her side through the years. I smiled at the the two of them because of how happy Blake was to finally reunite with him. Llyweilun was, as well. I was unable to hear what they were talking about. All I heard was their muffled voices, showing a bright emotion as they spoke. I decided to not worry about it and continue my homework, just to get it over with before Saturday.

Llyweilun came over as soon as our classes have ended. The previous night, he purchased a hotel in Vale City and told Blake he would visit her tomorrow. So, here he is now. Once again, talking to her.

"Yo. What's up, Wyvern?" A voice came from the direction of where Beacon Academy stood.

Turning my head to see who it was, it was Sun. Still having that chilled and smooth look on his face as he sat down on my bench and took out a banana.

"Nothing much. Just finishing my homework before the weekends start. It's best to finish them early before you can have your free time soon." I replied.

"One of the best common strategies to use in school. It's best not to procrastinate and finish it in the last minute. You can't imagine how Neptune felt when he had to finish two pages of homework before his Grimm Studies Class started. Fortunately for him, he finished it, thanks to Blake and Pyrrha." Sun laughed about the thought of his buddy, Neptune, who regretted to procrastinate one time.

"Ruby and Yang did the same thing once at Professor Kalashnikov's Weapons and Technology Class. They were lucky I always wrote down notes when he wrote something down on the board, or when he speaks. Those two listen to him, but lack the motivation to take notes." I shrugged.

"You know, I heard you're the teacher's pet in all of your classes here. How do you have that much energy in you to complete an entire day without drifting off?"

I shrugged. "I don't know. Either coffee, or I was just born with that gift from my parents. But don't think so much that it's completely special. We're only human." I lied about my parents and I being human. Sun was a good friend and I know he can keep secrets well, but I can't risk it if Professor Ozpin finds out I told him.

"Man, I wish I was you. Not worrying about my grades, idolized throughout this entire academy, must be a fun life to be in your shoes." Sun patted my back.

"Yeah…" In reality, it kind of makes me feel pressured and nervous about possible rumors being spread. Soon, they'll be curious about who I really am. Or perhaps, what's behind my eyepatch.

Sun took a bite of his banana and looked around. "Where's Blake?"

"Right there." I pointed my pencil at the other bench where Blake and Llyweilun sat. "Those two have been talking ever since classes were over today. Blake was… pretty open and excited at the last class of the day."

"I know, right?" He chuckled. "When I saw her walk out of one of her classes today, she seemed more bright and spirited like Nora possessed her, or something. A thing that you don't really see everyday." Sun said, and threw his banana peel in the trash. "By the way, don't tell Nora and Blake I said that. About being possessed and stuff."

"No worries, man. There's nothing really offensive about saying that, even if they both heard it." I chuckled.

"Girls can be a bit different, you know? Perhaps they would… lets just say, overreact to something I said, and attempted to claw my eyes out."

"No they wouldn't." I laughed.

"Soon, man. Soooon~…" Sun responded with a spooked tone.

"I didn't see it happen to you, yet."

"Well, I most definitely know you got assaulted by Yang on your second day of arrival here." Sun snickered.

I sighed, remembering that incident. "Never again am I going near her hair. Yang going berserk is equivalent to a tank destroying everything swiftly without a scratch. Makes me feel a bit nervous, and you are hearing that from me."

"Aww. She really does like you." He gave a light playful punch on my arm.

"Yeah, right!" I rolled my eyes and laughed. "We're just friends. That's all there is to it."

"Hmph. I think you're unable to comprehend your real feelings yet, Wyvern. Tell me, have you ever taken any advantage to get to her heart?"

My face turned hot as I took a deep breath. "Of course not!" I replied. "Even if I did, she would still think it would be a joke or something. B-But i-it's not like I'm going to do that, or anything. Never!"

Sun laughed at my response. "Wonder what Weiss would do on her reaction to your advances."

I closed my eyes and raised my hand up before putting close to his face. In an instant, I clapped my hand loudly, as it sounded similar to a slap. Sun flinched so far, that he almost fell off the bench. Fortunately for him, he saved himself by grabbing onto the side.

"GAH!"

"That would happen."

"What are you two talking about?" A female voice asked.

Looking where the voice came from, I saw it was only Yang, holding on to a few snacks in her arms from the vending machines.

Sun winked at me and gave a few nudges. I responded by hitting his tail against the bench, causing him to yelp and jump out of where he sat.

"Ow…" He rubbed his tail.

"That's a lot of snacks, Yang." I commented.

She rolled her eyes and took a bite of her cereal bar. "Thanks for pointing that out, genius. Would you like a medal for that?"

"I'll pass. Plus I'm a bit afraid of what kind of medal do you have in mind." I looked away from her sharp glare and evil smile.

"Anyway…, where's Blake? I thought she was still in our dorms as soon as class was over. Now, she's nowhere to be found. Even nowhere around the library too, considering that's one of her favorite places to be at." She asked.

Pointing my thumb at her location, I chuckled by her not even noticing that she was with Llyweilun this whole time. Looking at the two, they still were talking in their friendly conversation for the past few minutes. I wouldn't want to be rude and just go on in to ask what they were talking about. Probably something personal or something like that. If it was only for between the two of them, I wouldn't even convince myself to ask what it was.

"Having a chat with her old friend, just like yesterday in the library." I answered.

"Llyweilun? Aww~. He really did promise to meet up with her after school." Yang smiled for her teammate.

"A friendship between two people who have known each other since childhood makes their bond even more powerful. So of course Llyweilun would keep his promise to meet up with her again." I smiled.

"Say, Sun, have you ever heard Blake talking about Llyweilun since you first met her?" Yang asked.

He gave a nod in response. "Yeah, I did my history homework. She rarely talks about him unless something happens that will remind her about him. Like one time, her, Neptune, and I were heading out to get some food when we noticed two siblings arguing with the manager of the store. When they yelled out 'We quit!', well, I'm sure you all get what this was reminding Blake of."

"Yeah. Her and him stepping out of the White Fang after their aggression starts to increase to the public."

"Correct. That was one of the times she told me and Neptune about Llyweilun. She thinks him and herself along with other former White Fang members can put a stop to their so called 'New World Order'. Or something…." He shrugged his shoulders.

"But it would take years to accomplish something like that. Even if you have to make a lot of decisions and sacrifices, it's obviously not going to be easy going against an entire terrorist organization." I said.

"All we can do is just have some faith in her. I mean, we are her friends, after all." Yang told us.

"Mm." I nodded in agreement. Those words would also come out of Ruby as well. Speaking of which, "By the way, where's Ruby at right now? Being tutored for some class work?"

"Nah. She's inside the cafeteria getting a smoothie for me because I asked her for the favor." Yang scratched her head.

"Slave work is a crime, you know." I smirked.

"Shut up!"

"Yang?" A voice came from behind her. She turned her head and saw it was Ruby, holding onto two cups with their covers and straws.

"Oh!" Yang smiled. "You're back!"

"Here's your smoothie, Yang." Ruby handed over a average sized cup with a straw. "Next time, can you at least do it yourself?"

"Thank you, sis." Yang firmly grasped the cup and kissed her cheek, which completely embarrassed Ruby.

She faced down as her face was red like a rose. "Not in front of everybody!"

Yang frowned and looked down at her. "Is it wrong for the older sister to give a friendly kiss to her little one? I can't help it, because you're so cute!" She tightly hugged Ruby like a little child reuniting with her stuffed animal.

"Stop it~!" Ruby squirmed to loosen her grasp.

"Never~!" She buried her face into her neck.

"Please, stop! That tickles!" Her voice was serious with a small hint of laughter escaping from her words.

"You do realize that will just make me keep doing it." Yang continued.

Ruby was already laughing out loud because of her neck, one of the most common sensitive spots of anybody was being attacked by Yang. She looked at me, desperate to try to escape from her older sister. I honestly was finding it cute of those two.

"Wyvern, are you enjoying this or something?! Make her stop!" She begged.

"Probably…" I smiled innocently.

"Please~!"

I decided to accept her request and walked up next to Yang, still holding on to her little sister. Hoping it won't create anything risky, I raised both my hands as the left approached Yang's neck, while my right approached on one of her sides. Knowing the consequences I'll get after finishing this, I had no choice since I felt bad for Ruby.

Breathing in deeply, then exhaling, I smiled and began to vigorously tickle her. "Hi Yang!"

Yang reacted by letting go of Ruby while arching her back by the sudden shock of my fingers. Her eyes widened as her mouth began to agape, forcefully letting out laughter. Ruby quickly backed behind the bench and watched as I tickled her older sister.

"Wyvern?!" Yang called my name as laughter still came out.

"When Ruby wants you to stop," I began to go a little bit rough. "you stop."

"Stop~! HAHAHA! Quit it!" Her legs began to tremble as she used her remaining strength to keep herself up.

"Why should I do that? It's like being in Ruby's shoes on what she has to deal with." I continued to tickle her.

"This isn't funny! Enough!" Her eyes began to leak out tears as laughter was still coming out of her mouth.

"Then why are you laughing?" I teased.

"P-Please~! I-I'm begging you~~~!"

I decided to stop my tickling torture method on her when she said that. Yang was panting as she swept her tears and sweat away from her face. Her gold hair covered her face like she just got out of bed, well, even though she already has a bed head. Ruby has always been trying to cover her laugh he whole time, along with Sun. Those two were just watching the whole time, which was a bit embarrassing because I've never done something like that in front of everyone. I'm talking about the tickling.

(A/N: I hope you guys weren't thinking of anything dirty. Were you? ( ̄▽ ̄;). )

I approached Yang and looked at her. "You okay, Yang?" I asked.

Then…

*SLAP!*

A sharp pain was felt on my right cheek as my ears rang like a megaphone made an unpleasant screech. I covered the right side of my face as I gritted my teeth in pain. Making sure my eyepatch was still covering my left eye, it was thankfully still on. After experiencing that sudden strike, it was obvious I got slapped by Yang. Her face showed anger and annoyance as her eyes pierced through me like I was wet paper.

Yang growled. "Don't you EVER tickle me, AGAIN!"

"Okay." I groaned. "Ow~…. I prefer to get punched rather than getting slapped in the face."

Sun and Ruby stared in shock after witnessing me getting hit by Yang. She has one hell of a strong arm, I'll give her that.

"Hmph." Yang crossed her arms. "You should know better to just stop when someone, especially a girl wants you to stop."

"I know. I was just having… fun?" I always knew my manners, but I was just having a little play time during that sequence.

She looked down and shook her head. "Well it wasn't fun for me, Wyvern."

I admit, I kinda went too far. I should've known better to just listen to her for at least once. Guilt spread over my chest as I was preparing to properly apologize to her.

"Sorry about that, Yang. I went too far just to let you let go of Ruby. It'll never happen again." I bowed.

She sighed loudly as she looked back up at me. "I'll get you for this…"

As I expected as her response.

"How did it feel, with his hands touching on your body?" Sun teased.

"Are you asking to die early, pal?" Yang glared as she readied her Ember Celica.

"No… Sorry!" Sun shook in fear, regretting himself for saying that.

"So, changing the subject, where's Blake?" Ruby asked awkwardly.

Seriously? That question, again? "How can you guys not see her in this distance?" I pointed my finger at the two of them, again.

"Me? I just got here. And I'm still shocked after I just witnessed my sister slap the sweat out of your face." Ruby told me.

Yang patted her shoulder. "Sorry you had to see that." She then gave a glare at me, sending a chill down my spine. "He was the one that made me explode."

'Is an apology not good enough for you or anything?' I thought.

Sun turned his head towards the academy and waved his hand. "Here comes Weiss, Jaune, and the others."

Turning my head towards where he waved at, I saw Weiss walking down the walkway with Jaune and his team behind her back. She calmly made her way towards us while ignoring Jaune and his smooth words in attempt to impress her. And not a big surprise, it wasn't effecting her at all, like she was immune to his cockiness. Weiss probably had to deal with this almost every week in class with him.

"So, what did you think of that joke?" Jaune asked.

"I'm not impressed." Weiss responded simply.

"Oh…" Jaune sighed.

Pyrrha gave a small smile and patted his back. "Don't worry about too much, Jaune. It was funny to me, at least."

"Really?"

"Yes, really."

"Hey guys!" Ruby waved and dashed towards Weiss to give her a friendly hug. "What's up, Weiss? What took you so long?"

"Ruby, please let go of me. You are interfering my personal space." Weiss ordered.

"But hugs make everything better. You gotta admit that's a fact, right?"

"Riiight." She grabbed her arms and gently pushed her and backed away. "Have you done your homework already?"

"Ugh!" Ruby groaned in annoyance. "Homework! Why on the weekends?! There should be a law that we never get homework on weekends. It's a waste of time!"

"You do realize it's not due until Wednesday, right? So after the weekend, you still have two extra days to finish it." I told her.

"Really?! Yes!"

"But I suggest you do it early, like today, rather than procrastinating it until the last." I added.

"Nuuu~! Why~?!" She whined.

"I'm not forcing you to do it. Just telling you that."

Jaune chuckled and looked around, noticing Blake's absence. "Have you guys seen Blake recently?" He asked.

I sighed and turned the direction of Jaune's head to the other bench where Llyweilun and Blake sat by themselves. I have literally been asked that four times without them noticing she was right there. It's not hard to recognize what she looks like when you see her almost EVERYDAY.

"With Llyweilun, I see." Weiss smiled.

Nora raised an eyebrow. "Shouldn't a cat and dog be… you know, enemies?"

"Don't judge two people's friendship by using their animal species in them." Yang chuckled.

"Just saying. You saw cartoons, didn't you? They always do that. The cat and dog always fight and compete with each other, either resulting the cat or dog to win in one episode or in a stalemate."

"You've always loved cartoons, didn't you?" Ren asked.

"Yup. I miss those days when I was just a sweet little girl." Nora smiled widely, thinking about her younger self.

"Wonder if those two secretly like each other. They might be close to talking about it." Jaune curiously stepped forward.

"It's none of our business anyway, Jaune. Just leave those tw-" Pyrrha paused her sentence and looked around. "Where did Blake go?"

"Okay, that was fifth time I heard you guys ask 'Where is Blake?'. She's right the-…" I looked at the bench where Llyweilun and Blake sat, but strangely, they were no longer there. "Oh…"

Ruby began to turn her head around to scan the area for her presence. "That's odd…"

"Where'd they go? They can't be far, right?" Jaune said.

"They probably decided to walk around a bit instead of sitting all day on the bench." Ren predicted.

"Maybe…" Nora began.

"What is it?" I asked.

She recalled her words and shook her head. "Nevermind. You'll probably think I'm a crazy lady or something."

"You're already crazy enough though." Ren mumbled.

"Just tell us. I'm interested to hear what you have to say." I patiently waited for her to continue.

"I've heard of the legends in this academy. There was a spirit beneath these grounds, resting in his lair. What happens is he comes up to feast the souls of two people, who have a strong bond of friendship or love between them. He uses them for power to release the beast inside of him. Now that Blake and Llyweilun is nowhere to be found, perhaps he's now one step closer away from attacking us!" Nora told us, dramatically.

"Wow! I think you're right!" I gave an impressed look to her.

"You think so?" Nora smiled.

"Yes. You are crazy."

Nora sighed. "Aww… I knew it."

"Where did you get that outlandish tale? From the bad side of the internet or something?"

"From my head."

"Too much things are always going on in your imagination." Ren said.

"That cause is rather, mysterious and out of this world for it to happen, Nora."

"At least it's not as mysterious than your motivation to draw and write doujinshi." Nora blurted.

"Nora!" I blushed as everyone stared at me in surprise.

"Oops… sorry." She giggled nervously.

"Doujinshi?" Ruby asked.

Pyrrha cleared her throat, knowing she can explain it. "Think of it like its fan work or something else they wanted to draw or write from a show or something in the media. Most of which are…" Her face turned red and awkwardly turned her eyes away. "… erotic and lewd."

"Do you do that everyday?!" Weiss stared.

"Hey! I'll have you know, I only draw and write those when I'm feeling bored." I blushed wildly. "And I absolutely do NOT draw those ero-doujins at all. Never."

Yang gave a teasing smirk. "I can hear the lies coming from your voice, Wyvern."

"I can smell your fatal breath in your voice from over here." I mumbled quietly, not daring to say that joke out loud.

"What did you just say?"

"Nothing. Let's just find Blake and Llyweilun to ma-" I turned around and saw those two bright yellow eyes, again! My heart stopped frozen like it was in a block of ice, then I jumped back. "GAH!" Looking up at the perpetrator, I saw it was Blake, who usually does that to me for the thrill of scaring me.

"See? That's what I usually do to him." Blake said while her head was looking behind her, which revealed Llyweilun was present there.

"Wow." He laughed.

Blake noticed Sun was on the bench and led Llyweilun to introduce him. "Oh, this is one of my other good friends. His name is Sun. Sun, this is Llyweilun, a very old friend of mine back when we were just kids."

Sun got up and shook his hand. "What's up?"

"Nothing much, Sun. You're probably one of Blake's favorite friends, it seems." He smirked.

"Well, we're both faunuses. We actually met in Vale city when I saw her with her team. But soon when we got to know each other, we began to work together to investigate the actions of the White Fang." Sun shrugged.

"Oh, I see." He chuckled.

"Speaking of which, have you heard anything from them?"

Llyweilun stood still with his mouth shut. Everything went to an awkward silence as soon as he was asked that question. I looked at him and tapped his shoulder.

"Llyweilun? Are you alright?" I asked.

"Huh? Oh, yeah! I'm fine!" He smiled.

Blake frowned and looked at everybody with a rather serious look on her face. "Er… I think it's best not to ask him about the White Fang. H-He has suffered by seeing some horrible and terrifying experiences than I have in the past."

Llyweilun's smile slowly turned into a frown as he gripped his coat. "Yeah… that's right. I-I…"

"Wait. It's not necessary for you to tell us what you've been though. We all have our own privacy and horrific events we prefer to hide." I told him. Even though I've been through hell since my childhood, I knew what it was like to experience it all. It's best not to tell anybody so they wouldn't worry about you so much.

"Thank you, Wyvern." He gave another smile.

"Look, do you need some water or anything? Snacks?" I asked him worryingly.

"Water would be nice. But I wouldn't want to be a burden to you."

"Nonsense! I'll be right back with your new bottled water."

Blake giggled. "He would do anything to make sure any of us will be fine."

I chuckled and made my way back into the inner campus of Beacon Academy. The afternoon sun still shined all over the grass and structures like always everyday. Making my way through the walkway, I finally came across a vending machine that has water bottles in its inventory. I took out my wallet and inserted the right amount of Liens into the machine before pressing the picture of a clear fresh water bottle. Picking it up, still cold from the cooler inside, I held onto the top of the cap and made my way back to the others. Having the feeling that I accomplished my task, I smiled and continued to walk.

But… something stopped me from my way back to the others. Right on the exit to the outer campus, stood a figure laying his back against the wall. Upon standing still, I saw him look up at me and headed towards where I stand. There was one thing I immediately noticed when he got closer. He had a prosthetic left arm, to which I realized it can be only one person. Gerard Warrington, a former graduate of this academy where I attend.

"Wyvern Akua Kumawaka?" He spoke deadpanned.

"Mr. Gerard Warrington? I-Is there something I can help you with, sir?" I asked and bowed my head.

"There is no need to call me 'Sir', Prince Wyvern. It rather sounds weird coming out of one of the most highest Zhulong rulers in Doragon."

"How do you know my-…"

"Headmaster Ozpin told me everything. There is no need to worry about me and my cousin, Sappho spilling the beans."

"Oh… okay." I smiled. "Is there anything you would like to request for me to help?"

"No. But…" He looked at me with his intimidating looking eyes. "Can I speak with you for a second?"

"Of course." I lied against the wall and gave a friendly smile, honored to meet one of the most famous hunters in Beacon. "What's on your mind?"

"Death."

"Huh?"

"Death."

"What about Death?"

He dialed his eyes at me and calmly spoke, like it was what he usually says. "Someone is going to die soon. And I need for you to do something about it."

"What?" I was confused. "What do you mean someone is going to die? Who? Where? Why?"

"Listen to me," He turned his body to the direction where I stood. "I know this may sound crazy to hear from me, but your friend Blake is in complete danger of being killed."

My heart stopped beating as I stood still, staring up at him. Looking deeply into his eyes, I knew there was no signs of sarcasm or anything. My ears weren't deceiving me either. Did he just say what I think he said?

"B-Blake? What do you mean she's going to die?!"

Gerard sighed and looked at the outer campus. "She's about to get killed by the hands of somebody. Somebody who she thought was still a trusted friend to her after all these years."

"Just tell me! What's going on, and why?!"

"It's Llyweilun."

Llyweilun? Wait, her childhood friend who I just met yesterday? But, he's a rather friendly guy to her and all of us. This doesn't make any sense. I thought he quit the White Fang along with Blake before getting separated.

"H-Him? What the-?! Why?!"

"Do you have any idea who Blake is hanging out with right now?"

"Yes, but…"

"It may be her childhood friend, but hidden deep inside, it's not what he is right now. It's most likely he's there to finish her off since she was once part of the White Fang. They don't treat kindly to their traitors."

"How would you know? When did you know about this?" I asked.

"I was growing suspicious upon spotting Llyweilun in the library with you and your friends. Later, it came for me to realize I recognized a face just when he arrived her an hour ago. A year ago, I was called to investigate a murder scene that happened near Fort Knots in the victim's home. A Drill Sergeant was killed for having a possession of a briefcase full of dust. Upon arriving on scene by myself before everybody else arrived, that's when I witnessed the perpetrator. Dog eared faunus, wielding a .44 magnum in his hand with the other holding onto the briefcase. In react, I attacked him in a blink of an eye, resulting him to be heavily wounded. But unfortunately, he used a smoke bomb to make his escape. The briefcase was left behind, next to the dead body of my fallen 'brother'. I still remembered his face, and it seems I came across it again yesterday. And he happened to be with Blake Belladonna."

My eyes widened after hearing his story. I was confused before, but now I knew what he was trying to tell me. Blake was in danger of being near Llyweilun.

"What is he?" I asked.

"Part of the White Fang's Venomous Group; a pair of twisted psychos, extreme faunus patriots, mercenaries to get money for their own benefits, and especially very special agents of The White Fang. One of the most deadliest assassins you can think of. The current known ones are The Molots, The Psychotic Idealist, Garmr, and many others. Especially The Philosopher Stone leading the infamous Four Horsemen. All led by a man only known as Ulysses, who gives them the contracts to kill." Gerard said.

That's the same group that Ammit was in. So that's how he's part of The White Fang! He might be serving them as a mercenary lapdog.

"Llyweilun is known as Garmr. Responsible for the massacre of the Jade Train station in Ariol City, killed more than fifty nine of his targets, participated in the bombing of The Varona Bank, and many other crimes like heists, kidnappings, and helped illegal shipping of weapons."

"He…" I clenched my fist. "He did all that?! And now he's going to kill her!"

"That's why I'm asking you to do something. I am unable to help you out because my ride is already here, behind Beacon Academy. I am immediately requested to Grabcr Village to fend off the Grimm as soon as possible. Do whatever it takes to prevent her death from happening." He began to walk off, but stopped for a second. "I know you can do it, Wyvern. Do what you have to do." He continued to walk until I no longer saw him.

I can't believe this. Llyweilun is still part of the White Fang while Blake is blind to see and hear about this. This means she's vulnerable right now! In alert, I ran back to everyone else, praying that Blake was still in one piece. I couldn't afford to lose another friend for not only me, but for her team and everyone else.

When I saw all of them, chatting with each other, I noticed Blake was still okay and alive. But looking at Llyweilun, I glared in anger, knowing he's acting like the friend Blake saw as him. Walking slowly towards them, I arrived with a friendly smile on my face to hide my suspicion. Greeted by everyone once again, I looked at Llyweilun and gave him the water bottle.

"Here you go." I bowed my head.

"Thank you so much!" He opened and drank it down until it was down half-way. "Ah! That's better."

"Hey, Llyweilun? Is it okay if I can talk to you for a second?" I asked.

"Of course! What is it?" He asked as I led the way, keeping away from the group.

"There's something I wanted you to know without the others knowing." I lied.

"I understand." He turned his head at Blake and smiled. "I'll be right back, okay?"

"Alright. We'll be here." She nodded.

As we walked and had a friendly conversation, I noticed we reached to a point near the cliff where the trees were blocking us from sight to the others. Unable to be detected by the others, I got ready to take out my sword. If Ruby and he others, especially Blake saw this, it would get a bit too complicated for me to get through. I had to make sure of this was actually true for the sake of Blake's life. Her life will not be taken by the infamous White Fang just like the others who suffered in the bombing of the Vale Stock Exchange.

"So, what is it that you want to talk about?"

I took out one if my Dragon Tail Swords and pointed it directly at his throat. His eyes widened in shock after I did this. Frozen and speechless about what was I doing.

"W-Wyvern? What are you doing?" He asked in a very unconvincing voice.

"Protecting those who I care about, Garmr." I used his codename.

"Garmr? What does that mean? And why did you even call me that?"

"There is no use of hiding your true affiliation, Llyweilun. I know you're part of the Venomous Group in the White Fang. And I know your codename in that group is Garmr." I glared in hostility.

Llyweilun sighed and looked at me blankly. "Wyvern Akua Kumawaka." He said my name before giving me an evil smile. "May I ask how would you even know I was one of them?"

"Gerard Warrington told me everything. He still recognized you a year ago after killing that Drill Sergeant for his dust. And come to think of it, you did seem a bit pressured when he was in the library with us." I told him.

"Impressive." He grinned.

"What do you want with Blake?" I demanded him to answer.

"Me and the entire organization see her as a subject who abandoned us. Blake betrayed us, making herself leave as a stray animal in the wildlife of society. It's a dangerous world out there, and I doubted she would survive for long. Humans are too ignorant to believe she wasn't part of them, so they left her like a shadow in a lonely night. An infamous traitor like her deserves to die. A disgrace to our race who abandoned her fellow faunuses to join the enemy." He said.

"Your organization is doing the wrong thing. The reason why Blake left the White Fang was because she couldn't risk taking the lives of innocent humans beings. She wants peace and equality between the humans and the faunus to live in harmony. It almost seems like you want the world to live under a new order of your kind."

"You're right." Llyweilun smiled. "We want order and prosperity of all of the economy of Vytal. Ruled under dictatorship of the leaders of our organization to create a world with no boundaries."

"Taking over Vytal and soon ruling this planet?" I growled.

"I had no idea you were this smart, Wyvern. Ammit was right about you."

I kicked his stomach as he hit the ground. "You… you know about Ammit too?!"

"I hear the hatred in your voice. Watch yourself, lad."

Grabbing his collar and lifting him off the ground, I growled once again and shook him violently.

"What is he planning?"

"You know I'm not telling you a damn thing, ant. The only thing you know is the fact Blake will die by my hands soon." He spat near my shoes.

Punching his nose so hard that it was causing it to bleed, I threw him down on the ground.

"Why would you plan on doing that to your one good friend?!" I punched him again.

He laughed. "Blake is no longer a friend of mine anymore. Some people can change, Wyvern. Blake has gone through it, but I haven't followed her at all. She's been alone in that path."

I punched again. "Shut up! Guess what, she's not alone anymore because she has Ruby and the others including me. When she finds out who you really are, she won't need your presence anymore."

"How cold of you, maggot!" he kicked his feet up and pushed me away.

I saw him charge at me with his fist, but I immediately dropped down and and kicked him off the ground. After, I jumped up by using my arms and spun around to give him a powerful blow to the head. He fell down on the ground and trembled. Before I can finish him off, I was stopped when I heard…

"Wyvern?! Llyweilun?!"

After hearing that familiar female voice, my body froze as I remained staring at Llyweilun on the ground, a bit semiconscious because of the kick and punch I delivered to him. Turning my head at the voice, it was…

Blake…

… in complete shock upon looking at the both of us. I was standing as her "childhood friend" was on the ground, injured by the fight. I gulped nervously and didn't know how to explain everything to her.

"Blake… I… I…"

(Uh oh…. What do you think will happen next? :7)
