Hi everyone. This is a bit longer than the last few chapters because it flowed better that way I felt. If anyone has any time at all to leave a review it would be much appreciated as it gets kind of lonely on your own lol. The ending is most definitely M rated!
Chapter twenty nine
Elizabeth and Billie stood up and headed into the living room, waiting for Jessica as she and Mike came down the hall.
"Come on," Elizabeth summoned her twin the instant she stepped into the room, putting her arm around her and starting to lead her towards the kitchen. Jessica groaned internally. Her sister had that tone in her voice that could only mean one thing. She was in for a lecture. Jessica mentally tried to think what she had done wrong but she was drawing a blank.
"But I have to put the shopping away," Jessica tried to protest, gesturing towards the bags Mike was carrying. It was fruitless. Elizabeth wasn't about to be deterred.
"I'll help you with those," she said firmly, holding out her arms towards Mike. Mike shrugged and allowed his sister-in-law to take the bags. Jessica let out a groan as Elizabeth half shoved her into the kitchen.
"So, Mike's home then," Elizabeth prompted, as they started to empty the bags into cupboards and the fridge. "You must be pleased," she added, giving her a meaningful look. Jessica sighed as if the whole world was on her shoulders.
"Of course I'm happy Mike is home. I hated the thought of being without him," she acknowledged. "But I-." She was about to add how concerned and heartbroken she was for their brother but Elizabeth got in before she got the chance.
"Umm," Elizabeth said dubiously. "From what I hear you can't manage more than a few hours without him." Her expression grew even more pointed. Jessica groaned once more, realising what her sister was getting at.
"I guess Billie told you what happened?" Jessica demanded, turning to face her twin, raising her eyebrows.
"Yes, she mentioned it," Elizabeth admitted. "She was a little upset. She-."
"So she's been complaining about me to you?" Jessica asked angrily before Elizabeth could continue. "Talk about gratitude." She closed one of the cupboard doors a little too hard.
"Billie is grateful," Elizabeth assured her twin. "She really appreciates you letting her and Steven stay here."
"Doesn't sound like it," Jessica sulked as she put the milk in the fridge. Elizabeth sighed this time. She should have known her sister wouldn't get it. She had never been the most sensitive person on the planet and she had always been, as much as Elizabeth hated to admit it about her own twin, selfish.
"She just would like you to remember that you aren't living on your own at the moment. If maybe you could be a little more discreet," Elizabeth tried to explain, keeping her voice casual in an attempt to placate Jessica. It didn't work. Jessica was glaring at her. Elizabeth took a deep breath. "Look, Jess, I know you're newlyweds and with the baby you're all loved up at the moment but there is a time and place-."
"Are you saying I should behave like a nun, Elizabeth?" Jessica demanded, still glaring at her.
"Of course not," Elizabeth protested. "I just-."
"I can't believe you're telling me what I can and can't get up to in my own house," Jessica snapped.
"I'm not," Elizabeth defended herself, wishing she had kept her mouth shut. She had only wanted to help because Billie had been upset and she had thought her sister would be reasonable. "I'm just saying to be considerate that's all." She held her hands up as if gesturing for a truce. Jessica snorted.
"Fine," she said indignantly, throwing her long hair back over her shoulder. "I'll be on my best behaviour." Jessica walked out of the kitchen and into the living room signalling the end of the conversation. Elizabeth rolled her eyes and followed her behind sister.
"Yeah, at about eighteen weeks," Mike was saying.
"You ready, Todd?" She questioned, leaning over the back of the couch and breaking into the conversation he was having with Mike. "There's something I need to do." Todd nodded and stood up.
"Thanks for having us over," Elizabeth offered politely before heading towards the door. Billie and Mike waved as Jessica sat with her arms folded on the couch. Todd took her hand as they walked down the stairs of the apartment complex and he noted that for the first time in a long time Elizabeth didn't recoil or jump away from his touch when she hadn't initiated it. He let her hand go as they both climbed into the car. He looked over at his girlfriend.
"Where are we going that's so important," he asked, putting his hands on the steering wheel. Elizabeth met his gaze.
"I'm going to see James," she said slowly, sensing what his reaction would be. Todd stared at her with shock.
"What-," he started to cry.
"Listen," she interrupted firmly. "I need to talk to him."
"Talk to him?" Todd cried. "Why on earth would you need to talk to him? Why on earth would you need to talk to the guy – the guy who raped you?" Elizabeth cringed at that word.
"I've made a decision," she said bluntly, taking a deep breath. Despite Todd's reaction and despite the gravity of what she had decided to do her mind felt completely clear. As clear as the Southern California sun that was beaming through the window. Todd was looking at her nervously. "I'm going to talk to James and see if he will drop the charges against Steven if I'll drop the charges against him." Todd's eyes widened.
"No," he answered firmly. "You can't -." Elizabeth took hold of his hand, trying to reassure him.
"It's what I want, Todd," she told him truthfully. "I just want this whole nightmare to be over."
"Not like this," Todd protested, shaking his head. "It should end with him being locked up. It should end with you getting justice." Elizabeth sighed. She knew that. And in an ideal world that is what would happen. But it wasn't an ideal world and she had to make choices. For her brother's sake and for her own sanity.
"I know," she agreed with her boyfriend. "But it can't," she said honestly. "Not now. All that matters now is getting Steven out." Todd was looking down at his legs. Elizabeth could tell he was biting his tongue.
"There's no point me arguing with you is there?" He finally questioned with sadness in his voice. "You've made up your mind, haven't you?" Elizabeth nodded.
"I knew from the moment Billie told me what Steven has done," she admitted. "I don't want to see you or my brother to go to jail." She let out a little smirk. "But he's still been an idiot so I thought a few extra minutes wouldn't hurt." Todd sighed frustrated at the situation and at life.
"My parents will be pleased," he acknowledged, rolling his eyes. Elizabeth gave him a curious look. Todd sighed once more. "They're on a bit of a trip at the moment," he explained. "They've got it into their head that the university is corrupt. They're thinking of pulling me out." Elizabeth was flabbergasted this time. Although she couldn't deny the university had been corrupt.
"Surely, that's your decision," she demanded. "It's your future!" Todd snorted, knowing his parents didn't see it that way.
"They pay my tuition," he pointed out. He placed a kiss on her head, deciding now wasn't the time to burden Elizabeth. "Anyway, maybe once this is all over they'll change their mind. Forget about it." Elizabeth nodded, touching his arm. There seemed little point in worrying about something that hadn't happened yet. Elizabeth took a deep breath and reached for her cell, knowing she needed to make this call before she lost her nerve. She put it on speaker phone so Todd could hear. She took another deep breath as she got put through to James' dorm
"Hello?" She cringed at the sound of his voice.
"It's Elizabeth," she informed him flatly, not able to force any kind of pleasantries. There was a shocked silence at the other end. "I want to talk," she explained. There was another silence before he spoke again.
"Come to the sigma house," he told her. "Tonight."
"No," she protested. "We need to talk now and somewhere public." He didn't respond. "How about the coffee house in fifteen minutes?"
"Fine," he agreed. "But you come alone. I don't want a repeat of the other night." He hung up the phone.
The coffee house was bustling with students and it took Elizabeth a few moments to spot James while Todd headed to a table wearing a baseball cap so he wouldn't be as obvious. Elizabeth forced herself to walk over to him. She guessed a little part of her had been hoping he wouldn't come so that she wouldn't have to face him even though she knew what she needed to do. She took a seat across from him, she looked down not ready to meet his eye contact.
"So?" James challenged. "Have you decided to take back the ridiculous things you've been saying?" His voice was harsh. Elizabeth finally forced herself to take a close look at him, deciding that it wasn't her who needed to be ashamed. After all they both new the truth about what had happened between them even if the world never would. She examined him closely. Her brother and brother-in-law had really done a number on him she realised as she took in the cuts on his face. His eyes were bitter and Elizabeth realised the truth. He believed what he was saying was true. He actually believed his version of events. She shuddered slightly.
"No," Elizabeth answered, keeping her tone unemotional. She made herself hold his eye contact. "But I will tell police I don't want to go on with it." James opened his mouth to say something but Elizabeth carried on before he could. "But on a condition," she said firmly. James eyed her closely this time, taking in her words.
"What condition?" He finally questioned.
"You take back what you're saying about my brother," she told him bluntly. "And Todd!" James instantly shook his head.
"No," he told her. "You can see what your brother did to me!" he pointed to the marks on his face for emphasis. Elizabeth bit her lip to stop herself telling him that was nothing compared to what he had done to her.
"I just want an end to all this," Elizabeth admitted. "Don't you want the same?" James' face seemed to be relenting slightly. "You wouldn't have all this over your head any longer," she continued. She hated that she was pleading with him but she had come here for a purpose. "It would all be over." James was still staring at her, debating her offer. He finally nodded and Elizabeth nearly let out a sigh of relief.
"Fine," he agreed. "You tell them you won't press charges and I'll tell them I made a mistake about your brother." Elizabeth shook her head this time.
"No," she argued. "I can't trust you. You tell them you made a mistake first and then I'll drop the complaint."
"No," he argued back. "You're the one making up obscene lies about me. How can I trust you?" Elizabeth glanced away for a moment.
"We won't get anywhere going on like this," Elizabeth said bluntly, facing him once more. "You tell them to let Steven go and I swear I'll tell them to forget it all." James finally relented and nodded, seeming to decide he could trust her word. Elizabeth stood up, eager to get away from him. "There's one more thing," she told him, his voice filling with anger. "Stop calling my dorm. You've got what you wanted now." He raised his eyebrows.
"I haven't called you," he protested. "Why would I call you?" Elizabeth looked him. She had no idea whether he was telling the truth or this was another thing he had convinced himself of.
"Just stop it," she said firmly, before hastily making her exit out of the coffee house, Todd quickly following behind her.
"They were really strange," Billie explained to Jessica and Mike, still staring at the phone in her hand. "I said I want to arrange to visit him and they just said they don't have a Steven Wakefield there."
"Call them back," Jessica suggested. "Someone must have made a mistake." They were interrupted by the turning of a key in the door. They turned to it as it opened. All their eyes widened. "Steven," Jessica cried, running up and hugging her brother. "Thank god." She hugged him tight, momentarily forgetting there was a baby bump between them.
"Hey, Jess," he protested. "Don't squeeze so hard." Jessica pulled back and Billie took her opportunity to step in and get her own hug.
"What's happened?" Billie wondered, holding him tight. "How did you get home? How did you get out?" Steven pulled back.
"Elizabeth and Todd brought me here," he explained. His face showed how unhappy he was at the situation, and Billie's eyes narrowed. Why would he be unhappy? He was free after all. Her mind wondered back to Elizabeth's strangely calm attitude. She started to find her mind falling on her worst suspicions.
"Elizabeth and Todd?" Jessica cried. Steven took a deep breath and nodded, hating what he was about to say.
"Elizabeth has dropped the charges against James," Steven finally acknowledged. "And he has dropped his as well." Steven cringed at the words, detesting that she had had to bargain with James on his behalf.
"Dropped the charges?" Jessica cried once more. "But she can't! She can't just let him walk free, not after everything he's done."
"I know, I know," Steven stated, nodding his agreement. "I've told her but she's already done it. She says it's what she wants. She wants it to be over with. It's too late now." Steven shrugged helplessly. He had ranted about it all the way home in the car to no avail. He wished Elizabeth had spoken to him before she had made her decision, he would have told her not to do it on his behalf. He would rather have rotted in jail than see that guy go free. But it really was too late. Jessica didn't know what to say. She hated to admit that part of her felt relieved. It meant Steven was free and it meant that they didn't have to stand up in a court room and tell everyone what had happened.
"We should have killed him when we had the chance," Mike muttered.
"Mike," Jessica and Billie chastised, although they secretly agreed. Billie stepped forward and gave her boyfriend a reassuring hug. She knew this would be eating away at him.
"I'll fix you something to eat," she told him. "You must be starving."
"I'll help," Mike offered. "I'll get everyone a drink." He followed behind Billie into the kitchen. He touched Steven's shoulder as he passed in a thank you gesture. Jessica noted that her brother didn't recoil at her husband's touch. That had to be progress. Jessica sat down on the couch beside her brother as he slouched down.
"How are you doing?" Jessica asked him. "How was it in there?" Steven shrugged.
"I'm glad to be out," he admitted. "But under these circumstances-." His voice trailed off. Jessica looked down at her hands. Steven watched his sister with concern, remembering how upset she had been at the police station.
"What about you? How are you doing?" Steven asked gently. Jessica gave an unhappy shrug.
"Everyone keeps getting on my case," she told her brother.
"Getting on your case about what?" Steven queried. He had known his sister long enough to know that if people were "getting on her case" it might be justified. Jessica sighed as if the weight of the world was on her shoulders. She looked at her brother. Steven would be on her side, Jessica told herself, he would understand how she felt.
"Well, Mike came home and of course we were pleased to see other," she explained. "And obviously we didn't realise you weren't free as well," she added hastily. "I mean it's not my fault that Mike and I are used to living by ourselves. And it's not my fault Billie chose to come back just then is it? Now they say I should be more considerate," Jessica complained, forgetting who she was speaking to momentarily. She remembered as she looked to gauge her brother's reaction and instead of the sympathy she'd expected to see, she saw a mortified look had come across her brother's face. "I just mean hanging out together that's all…." She tried to backtrack, not very convincingly.
"Maybe they have a point," was all he could think to mumble. An awkward silence fell between them. Steven broke into it with a cough deciding this gave him an opportunity to venture a topic that had been in the air before the arrest. "Jess," he began. "You know Billie and I have been here a while and with everything that happened before it's been a while since we, you know, spent any time together. And with everything that's happened recently I thought it might do us good to have a little, you know, alone time." Jessica nodded understandingly and Steven wanted to sigh with relief. His sister was going to take the embarrassment out of this and make it easy for him.
"Of course," she said. "Why don't you take her out for dinner?" Steven stared at her in disbelief. He wanted to groan but decided to give it one more try. Surely his sister couldn't be that oblivious?
"Jess, I don't mean going out to eat," he said meaningfully, his cheeks going slightly red. Jessica touched his arm.
"Well take her bowling instead," she suggested. Steven stared at her
"Yes, I suppose I could," he said accepting his fate with a sigh.
"You should," Jessica told him. "I guess the only thing we can do now is try to carry on as normal."
"I'm glad you said that, Jess," Mike said coming up behind her and putting a couple of glasses down on the table. "That means you won't mind that I rang earlier about rebooking your scan. They said can see you tomorrow." He headed back into the kitchen.
"No," Jessica cried angrily, standing up and marching behind him into the kitchen. "You promised you wouldn't push me." Billie put her hand on Steven's arm as the angry voices filtered through from the kitchen.
"It's not your decision to make," Jessica was shouting.
"You said you would go," Mike argued back.
"Welcome home, Steven," Billie said as she sat down next to Steven, resting her head on his shoulder.
Mike spun his Corvette into the parking lot of his apartment complex the next morning and quickly looked at his watch before he threw himself out of the car. Jessica was going to kill him. Twelve o'clock from Elizabeth's dorm they'd agreed when she'd finally relented about going to the scan. It was already eleven thirty and he still had to get changed from his work clothes. He'd been an idiot to insist he needed to go to work but he did have to have a car ready by four o'clock. And it wasn't his fault that a client had insisted on asking a million and one questions just as he went to leave. And he'd have still had a chance to make it if he was picking her up from home but of course she would have to be having brunch with her sister. He noted his brother-in-law stood in front of his old beat up Volkswagen Beatle as he made his way across the lot.
"Hi, Steven," he said politely, still feeling a little awkward about how he could say thank you for what Steven had done for him. His slowed as he realised Steven had the hood up and was staring down at the engine in puzzlement. Mike forced himself to walk on. He didn't have time to ask, he tried to tell himself firmly, he needed to get on. He froze and sighed. He couldn't just ignore his brother-in-law. He wanted to be on friendly terms with him and he owed big time. "Is there something wrong with the car?" He asked. Steven looked sheepish.
"Yeah," he admitted. "It gets a little temperamental when it's not been run for a couple of days." Mike glanced at his watch. It probably just needed a jump he assured himself. It would take ten minutes then he'd be on his way.
"Do you want me to take a look?" he offered. Steven hesitated and then nodded.
"I wouldn't normally ask," he answered. "But I've got a class I really need to get to." Mike's eyebrows rose. Steven had a class to get to - he had a life changing event he needed to get to! He held out his hands for the keys. He really wanted to make a good impression on his wife's family and leaving one of them in a crisis wouldn't be. Steven passed him the keys and they climbed into the car. Mike turned the key and wanted to groan. It definitely didn't sound like a flat battery. This was going to take longer than he had thought and longer than he had.
"Thanks for having a look," Steven was saying as Mike debated his predicament. "And thanks for letting us stay. The landlord doesn't seem to have any idea when our apartment might be ready." Mike looked over at him.
"You're welcome to stay as long as you need," he said sincerely. As much as this was an inconvenience right now he really did appreciate the decision Steven had made and he was welcome in his home. What had started out as trying to keep his wife happy had grown into his own favour. "Treat it like it's your home," he told him as they climbed out of the car and Mike's head went under the hood. Steven looked at Mike debating whether he could venture the conversation he had tried with his oblivious sister last night. Mike was a man of the world after all.
"Mike," Steven began. Part of him wanted to die inside that he was having this conversation with Mike McAllery but then if he ever wanted any alone time with Billie….. "What you said about making your place like our home."
"I meant it," Mike assured his brother-in-law as he fiddled with a part.
"Thank you," Steven answered. He took another deep breath. "I wondered I-I – Billie and I we haven't had a lot of time to ourselves lately. Not since before the miscarriage. And we would really like a bit of time alone and-." Mike looked up and noted that Steven was blushing. He decided to put the guy out of misery.
"And you want us to make ourselves scarce?" he supplied. Steven breathed a sigh of relief and nodded. "All right," Mike told him as he pulled at something. "I'll take Jess out somewhere."
"Thank you," Steven said sincerely. "It would just be for a couple of hours -."
"A couple of hours?" Mike interrupted. "After so long apart? Surely you want longer than that?"
"I-I," Steven stuttered embarrassed. Of course he wanted as much time as possible. He'd only said that to cause the least inconvenience to his sister and brother-in-law. After all it was their home.
"I mean you know women," Mike continued. "You know what they are like. They expect romance and foreplay. Jess-."
"Mike McAllery," Steven cried in disbelief. "I do not want to know what you get up to with my sister!"
"He said he would be here," Jessica said angrily, as she stared out of the window of her sister's dorm. "He was the one who wanted me to go. " Jessica felt her sister put her hand on her shoulder.
"Maybe he'll be here in a minute," Elizabeth tried to comfort her. Jessica turned around and shook her head. She looked at the time on the clock radio.
"No, it's too late," she said. "He's let me down again." Jessica couldn't believe this was happening so soon after the James debacle. Elizabeth exchanged a look with her boyfriend. She felt terrible for her sister. She knew how worried she was about this scan and that it might say something was wrong with the baby after what had happened to Billie.
"Come on, Jess," Todd offered gently. "I'll run you there. I'll stay with you if you want." Jessica hesitated then nodded. This was something she had wanted to do with Mike. But he wasn't here. He was running around somewhere. Elizabeth gave Todd a grateful smile. She shook her head in annoyance at her brother-in-law as Todd and Jessica left the room and closed the door behind them. She sat down at her desk, deciding to take the opportunity to do some studying whilst she was alone. She heard a loud banging on the door. She stood up and opened the door still a little cautious
"Mike," she cried. "You're late," she told him pointedly.
"I know and I'm sorry," Mike promised, holding his hands up. "I can explain. I really can. I just need to find her." Elizabeth sighed.
"She left about five minutes ago," she told him. "Todd's taking her. "
"Thank you," Mike cried, kissing his sister-in-law on the forehead before sprinting down the corridor. Elizabeth shook her head once more as she closed the door. The phone started to ring. She eyed it nervously hesitating on whether to answer it. She finally picked it up, telling herself she was being ridiculous. James had got what he wanted, he wouldn't bother her again. She put it to her ear. Silence. She felt all the hairs on her neck stand up.
"Hello? Who is this?" She demanded. "Who is this?" She screamed, throwing the phone across the room.
"I'm sure there is an explanation," Todd assured Jessica for the thousandth time as they sat in the waiting room at her obstetricians. Jessica opened her mouth to complain again but she closed it as she saw Mike hurrying towards them. Todd's eyes followed hers.
"Where on earth have you been?" She demanded angrily.
"Jess, I'm sorry," he pleaded. "I'll explain I swear." Jessica nodded accepting his word, seeing by the look on his face that he really had made an effort to be here. Todd stood up.
"I'll leave you two to it," he told them, reaching into his pocket for his car keys.
"You should stay," Jessica offered. "You've come all this way." Todd shook his head.
"No, it's between you two ," he said honestly. "It's your moment." Mike shook his hand.
"Thanks for bringing her," he said sincerely.
"You're welcome," he said, offering a wave before he made his way down the corridor.
"I waited ages for you," Jessica complained. "I thought I was going to have Braxton Hicks!"
"That's not generally until the third trimester," he told her as he sat down next to her.
"How on earth do you know that?" Jessica wondered, looking at her husband with shock. Mike shrugged.
"I read it in one of your magazines," he answered.
"You've been reading my pregnancy magazines?" Jessica queried, her eyebrows raised. Mike shrugged again.
"Sure," he said causally. "We're expecting. I figured I should know what to expect." Jessica felt a lump in her throat, slightly taken back. She hadn't realised he had been taking such an interest in what was going on with her. She knew he cared but she had kind of figured he thought it was her issue to deal with. She thought it was incredibly sweet and she was about to tell him so but a voice calling interrupted her.
"Jessica McAllery." She looked at Mike, swallowing hard. He stood up and offered his hand which she took. He weaved his fingers through hers tightly. He gently pulled her to her feet. Jessica thought the urge to run, dreading the news that might come. She followed behind Mike as he led her down the corridor. He stopped behind her and waited for her to step in as they reached the room. She took a deep breath and finally walked in.
Mike threaded his fingers through Jessica's as they sat in the Corvette in the parking lot at the doctors.
"I was just trying to help your brother," he explained. "After everything he did…"
"I get it," she said, keeping her fingers entwined with his. She couldn't be mad at him. She knew he was just trying to help her brother and she hardly be angry about that. Not after what Steven had nearly given up for them. They owed him a lot. Besides which her anger had long been replaced by joy as she'd seen an apparently healthy and normal sized unborn baby displayed on the screen and a heart a strong heartbeat. They'd both been overcome with happiness and Mike hadn't even complained about her indecisiveness as to whether she wanted to know the sex. The doctor had offered to write it down and put it in an envelope so they could decide later. She doubted she would hold out for long.
"Let's put this somewhere safe," he said, signalling to the envelope in his hand with the obstetrician's scrawl on it. "Then if we decide to look we know where it is." He placed it in the glove compartment.
"You are excited aren't you," Jessica asked softly, running one of her fingers along his. "I know it isn't exactly what we had planned."
"We're married," Mike answered as he closed the glove compartment. "We'd have had kids at some point wouldn't we?"
"Maybe," she agreed. "But that doesn't mean we'd have had them right now." Mike lifted her hand and kissed it.
"Jess, I'm excited," he assured her. "I've never been more excited about anything in my life. "
"Really?"
"Really," he said, nodding his head vigorously. He placed his free hand on her bump. "I've never had anybody love me so much, Jess. Love me enough to have a baby together." He leaned forward and kissed her. Jessica slipped her arms around his neck. "Mrs. McAllery," he whispered his mouth against her ear. "I can't wait to get you alone. You having our baby is the most incredible thing anyone has ever done for me and I want to show you my appreciation."
"But we can't be alone," Jessica sighed. "There's nowhere for us to go. We can't go home because Steven and Billie might be there."
"I know somewhere we can be alone," he murmured.
Elizabeth glanced over at the broken phone in the corner of the room which she had been trying to ignore. She couldn't ignore it though. It was like a flashing beacon. Someone was trying to scare her and she wasn't sure who. James had seemed genuinely shocked when she had mentioned it earlier but then he had also seemed to believe he had never hurt her. She stared at it again. One way or another she needed to know the truth but she didn't know how to find it. She needed help to find it. She needed someone smart with good investigative skills who could smell a lead. In short she needed a terrific investigative reporter. Elizabeth grabbed her jacket, knowing exactly where she was heading. WSVU.
Jessica was laid across the back seat of a sedan in her husband's dirty garage and Mike was laid on top of her, hardly the most romantic setting, but as far as Jessica was concerned right then being laid on a four poster bed wouldn't have beat it. Not with his hands on her and his lips on hers.
"Thank you, baby," Mike whispered against Jessica's ear, his voice breathy and full of hunger. "Thank you." Jessica moved her head to let him kiss her neck. She sighed as his lips warmed the hollow of her neck, her skin tingling at the slight stubble on his chin. She held him tightly as he nuzzled the side of her throat. His lips moved across her cheek to reclaim her mouth and he stroked her sun gold hair as their tongues meshed together. Jessica gripped onto the back of his shirt as their kiss increased in passion. His body had surrounded hers, although he was being careful not to put too much of his weight on her, and she imagined an explosion of fireworks as they explored each other. Her actions freed his shirt from his jeans. She took the opportunity to reach under it and run her hand along the warm, smooth skin of his back. She loved the feel of him under her hands. His mouth once again moved to her neck and Jessica felt like she was losing herself in his love. An ache started between her legs.
"Honey," she breathed, as she stared up at the roof of the sedan Mike was working on. She felt his hands, those hands, stroking her body. Every touch was eliciting sparks of excitement from her skin. They ran slowly down her back as his mouth found hers once more. He squeezed her backside causing her to push into his crotch slightly. Mike let out a low murmur in response. He kissed her shoulder blades as his fingers expertly started to unbutton her top. She sighed again as his fingertips brushed against her breasts and her stomach. He finally reached the last button and eased it down her arms and onto the floor. He kissed her chest as he reached around to unclip her bra. Jessica held her arms out as he slid it off, revealing her pert full breasts. His hands roughly squeezed them, causing her to take a sharp intake of breath, and his mouth immediately found one of her nipples. She moaned as it hardened between his lips. She could feel her husband's hardness aching between her legs, pushing against her jeans. She remembered the feel of it inside of her. She felt herself become wet and whimpered softly, biting her lip to try to disguise it. Mike noticed anyway and she held her breath as his hand reached between their bodies undoing the button on her jeans and pulling down the zip. He eased his hand inside her jeans and inside her underwear. His fingers brushed her as he continued to suckle her nipple, causing Jessica to sigh loudly. His fingertips lightly grazed her most sensitive part, trying to gauge her response.
"Don't tease sweetie, please," she pleaded weakly as she instinctively pushed her warmth into his hand. He obliged. Jessica gasped as he began to rub her throbbing clitoris. Mike trailed kisses up her body. She found herself pushing further into his hand as her hips started to arch.
"You like that, baby?" His gruff voice whispered suggestively into her ear, enjoying the reaction he was getting. He ached to be inside her, but he wanted to say thank you to her, and wanted to give her as much pleasure as he could.
"Yes," she murmured in response. She felt a wave of pleasure shoot through her as his fingers continued to tease her clit. "Oh yes I do. Oh. More," she begged. He stroked faster with his thumb as he slid a finger inside her wet entrance. "Mike," Jessica called out as he slid another finger inside and began to move them in rhythm. Jessica's gasps turned to moans as she felt her pleasure building. Her hips were moving faster, pushing her harder into his hand. Mike continued to rub her clit as it swelled under his thumb and continued the movements of his fingers inside her. Jessica threw her head back and cried out. "Oh god yes." The pleasure rushing through her body became almost too intense. She gripped onto this back, burying her nails in his skin. Mike took her nipple back in his mouth as she arched her back towards him, flicking it with his tongue. He felt her tighten around him as her body stiffened and she drenched his hand. She cried out his name and he thought it was the sweetest sound he had ever heard. His wife, who was pregnant with their baby, calling out in the throes of love. Now he really, really ached for her. He pulled his hands away and hastily pulled down her jeans and underwear and Jessica kicked them off. He paused a moment wondering it was too soon but his eyes met his wife's full of the same desire as his. Mike pulled down his own jeans and underwear, not bothering to take them completely off. His desire was too intense. Jessica longingly spread her legs as he moved himself between them. Jessica moaned encouragingly as she felt his penis at the entrance to her vagina. She gasped as he entered her and he let out a guttural moan, moments of longing finally being fulfilled. They came face to face and their eyes locked. Jessica gasped again as he pushed inside of her, hitting just the right spot.
"You feel so good, baby," he moaned out as her walls clenched around him. Jessica felt like she was floating on a sea of pleasure as she wrapped her legs around him.
"Don't stop, Mike," she pleaded, moving her hips in time with his. She felt the tension surging through her, bringing her back closer to the edge. "Harder," she begged breathlessly. Mike picked up his pace at her command. He could feel himself building to a climax. He tried to watch her reactions wanting them to realise them together. Every movement was increasing the knot in his stomach. He started to moan. Jessica moaned as well loving the sounds of pleasure coming from her husband. Jessica ran her hands over his chest, turned on by his strong muscles. He pounded that spot inside her relentlessly and Jessica gasped at every push. Their noises got louder and Jessica threw her head back and Mike closed his eyes as they climaxed together. Mike collapsed down carefully on top of her, landing between the crook of her arm and her breast. Jessica pulled him close to her body, resting her chin on his head as she wrapped her arms around him, both of them breathing heavy as they came down.
