Author's Note: I apologize for the late update. I've been pretty rough these last few days, run down with a cold, and unable to concentrate on much. Anyway, here is the concluding chapter of "Double the Trouble" and, if there are any Lost Galaxy fans out there or if any of you will be willing, please check out my friend 'PotionFelicis2544's' Lost Galaxy fic. It's called 'Memoirs of a Ranger'.

Title: Secrets and Lies
Summary: Aliyah thought Rebecca and Tyler were the only family that she had left until she arrived in San Angeles six months ago. Now, after being approached by a man who claims to be her mother's brother, she is pulled into another life and death battle for Earth.
"How are they coming alone?" Mack asked, approaching the main computer where his father was working fixing the Zords.
"We're talking extensive damage from the last battle," Hartford explained. "It's going to take a while before the Zords are fully operational."
"And the Flashpoint got hit pretty hard, too," Cam said from the other side of the base. "I should be able to repair it completely, but it's going to take time."
"What about Aliyah and Tyzonn?" Mack asked. "Their locator signals disappeared."
"The others are out searching for them as we speak," Spencer replied.
"I just know they wouldn't have missed the last battle," Mack said. "Not unless they were in some kind of real danger."
Cam nodded in agreement. He knew Aliyah well enough to know that she wouldn't have missed a battle as fierce as the one against Mig and Benglo. Rabid animals couldn't have kept her away, which was why he agreed with Mack when they believed Aliyah and Tyzonn to be in danger.
~*Secrets and Lies*~
Dragging herself to the top of the hill, Aliyah looked around. She had no idea where she was only that it seemed to be a planet consisting of vague colours, mostly red and oranges, the grass was a wheat colour instead of its usual green and the sky seemed to be made out of liquid silver.
"Where the hell am I?" Aliyah asked herself. She could hear the sound of running water, and turned to the left to see a waterfall cascading down into a riverbed. The water rippled a lovely bluish green, it was almost mesmerizing.
Shaking her head, Aliyah tore her gaze from the water and looked back out at the landscape. She had to find someone, anyone, and figure out where she was. It was vital that she get back to Earth, she had a gut feeling that her friends were in trouble.
"Tyzonn!" Aliyah yelled from the top of the waterfall. If she had been hit by the same blast that had hit Tyzonn, then wasn't it a good chance that they were both in the same place? Cupping her hands around her mouth, Aliyah yelled again, this time her voice carried further.
Standing outside a white tent, two miles north of waterfall, Tyzonn caught the sound of someone calling. The words were faint, but it sounded almost like they were calling his name.
"Tyzonn is there something wrong?" his fiancée, Vella, asked from the tent.
Listening intently for the sound again, Tyzonn shook his head when he didn't hear it. "No," he replied. "It's just that..."
"Are you still having those memories of being on Earth?" Vella asked.
Tyzonn sighed and turned to face her. "Yeah," he nodded. "I know it sounds ridiculous, but they seemed so real. It's hard to believe the whole thing was in my head."
"Well, you've been through a traumatic experience," Vella explained. "Give yourself time. All of those silly thoughts will just fade away, and the sooner you put all that in the past, the sooner we can go on with our plans for the future. Just 'cause you got a little bump on your head doesn't mean you can get out of our engagement."
"Hey, don't worry - nothing could ever change my mind about wanting to spend the rest of my life with you," Tyzonn promised.
Vella smiled and nodded.
As if to reassure her, Tyzonn squeezed her hand. He then turned to glance over his shoulder at the rotating moon in the sky above. He could've sworn he had heard a voice calling his name, but from where he was, he couldn't recognise it.
~*Secrets and Lies*~
Agrios roared as he landed in the middle of the San Angeles city.
"Destroy it all, Agrios," Mig yelled from inside.
Back at the base, Mack and Cam jumped as the alarms blared loudly, alerting them to the trouble in the city.
"Now what do we do?" Mack asked. "The Zords are still down."
"Technically, not all of them," Cam said, looking at the white tiger Zord on the monitor. He could remember Aliyah telling him that Saba could remote control the tiger Zord if there was ever a time that she couldn't pilot it. "But I'd rather not risk losing the tiger Zord. Aliyah will blow a hole in the roof if it gets destroyed."
"What about the Flashpoint?" Hartford asked.
"It's only at half speed," Cam replied. "It's going to take a little longer."
"I'll take it as it is," Mack said.
"Are you kidding?" Cam asked. "Mack, you won't have enough energy to withstand a whole fight."
"Plus you don't have the proper training to pilot the flash point," Hartford argued.
"I don't need training, remember?" Mack asked. "I just need programming."
"I don't think it's a good idea," Hartford said. "I've looked over the Tiger Zords plans, and it has more than enough power to fight Agrios."
"And you heard Cam," Mack said. "Aliyah will blow a hole in the roof if anything happens to the tiger Zord."
"We can deal with Aliyah's anger issues," Hartford said. "We can't lose you."
Mack shook his head. "Just do it... Mr. Hartford," he said his voice level and demanding.
~*Secrets and Lies*~
"Vella, you know that I want to get married," Tyzonn said, following his fiancée through the wild forest away from their home. He was sure he could hear someone calling his name, and the further away from his home he walked, the louder the voice was getting. "It's what we've always dreamed of. If I could just go back to Earth and check on -"
"'Go back to Earth'?" Vella interrupted. "Tyzonn, do we really need to go over this again?"
"Right. No, I meant... if I could go to Earth, make sure everything's OK, then I could know for certain that this whole Power Rangers thing is all in my mind. I'll never mention it again."
"I just got you back in my life, and now you want to leave?" Vella asked, hurt. "Don't you trust me?"
"Of course I do," Tyzonn protested. "I'm sorry. It's just..."
"Just what?" Vella asked.
Tyzonn sighed. "Ever since I woke up," he said. "I've been hearing this voice... at first I thought it was just in my head, you know? But now I can hear it clearer."
"A voice? What voice?"
"It sounds likes Aliyah," Tyzonn explained.
"Who?"
"The white Ranger. We were together when we fought Kamdor, she was attacked alongside me. I don't understand why I would be hearing her voice if I'd never met her," Tyzonn said, confused.
"Maybe you're just imagining it," Vella suggested. "You know? Dreaming."
Tyzonn looked unsure. But found that he couldn't argue with Vella. "You know? You're right," he said nodding. "I mean, Aliyah couldn't really be here, could she? I mean, she's human, and besides, she and I have never met."
"Exactly," said Vella, embracing him tightly. She glared over his shoulder, and a light growl grumbled in the back of her throat. The white Ranger was there, which meant she had to find her and dispose of her quickly, before she ruined the plan.
~*Secrets and Lies*~
"Water launcher!"
A high powered stream of water hit Agrios's attack, pushing it back at the Zord. But the Fearcats charged more and more power from the chalice into their Zord, sending the energy blast spiraling back towards the flashpoint.
"AAH!" Mack cried out in alarm as the control panel sparked, and the Flashpoint fell to the ground. Its monitors beeped, alerting the red Ranger the maximum damage it had taken and the fact that it had very little energy to spare.
"He's more annoying than the white Ranger," Benglo said, standing over the fallen Megazord.
"Shoo, little fly. You're really starting to bug," Mig said.
"OK, Mack, think," Mack murmured to himself. He needed an attack that didn't require a lot of energy, seeing as he didn't have much left. "There's got to be a way to stop them."
"Mack, you're gonna have to bail," Cam called over the intercoms. "You're pushing the Flashpoint too much, it's at critical."
"I have an idea," Mack said, touching the console in front of him. A panel beside the console opened, revealing a large red button that read 'self-destruct'
"Mack, what you doing?!" Dax shouted.
"Mack, you got to bail out now!" Ronny yelled.
"Don't do this!" Will protested.
Agrios growled and powered up his blasters again. He opened fire on the Flashpoint, wrapping it up in its energy beams and sucking it dry of the power it had left.
"AAH!" Mack groaned, covering his head with his arms.
"Eject, Mack! That's an order!" Hartford yelled.
"I can't," Mack said. "This is the only way."
"Red Ranger, we're tired of playing with you," Benglo said, preparing for his final attack.
Growling, Agrios caught hold of the Flashpoint and held on as tight as he could. Using this to his advantage, Mack powered up every last bit of energy he had left, and reached for the self-destruct button.
"This is the only way," Mack muttered.
"Mack, don't do it!" Tyler shouted over the comms.
"This is for you, Rangers," Mack replied. "Engaging maximum power." He hovered his finger over the self-destruct button, but before he could press it something barreled into him and the Fearcats, knocking them a part.
Agrios and the Flashpoint hit the ground.
"What was that?" Mig asked, looking up and seeing a large tiger standing over him. He jumped and snarled in surprise, as sparks flew inside and out of Agrios as the tiger dug its claws in deep, and ripped the armour to shreds.
Agrios howled in pain.
"Get him off!" Benglo yelled, flailing his arms around and trying to swipe at the tiger Zord.
Mack, meanwhile, frowned at the sight before him. Aliyah's Zord was pinning Agrios to the floor and lying flat on its stomach, its claws dug deep into his metallic skin and was clawing out chunks. "What's going on?" he asked.
"You're as bad as Aliyah," Tyler said. "She doesn't know how to ask for help either."
"I thought you couldn't risk the tiger Zord?"
"Dude, Aliyah'd never forgive herself if anything happened to you," Tyler explained. "After all, you're the only other person who understands her. Oh, and to answer your question, Agrios' isn't going anywhere. That Tigerzord weighs a ton, and once it's got is claws stuck it, it'll never let go."
~*Secrets and Lies*~
Aliyah grumbled as she walked away from the waterfall. She had been climbing down when she had seen movement beyond the tree line. She wasn't exactly sure what she had seen, but she was pretty sure that it had been a human or two.
Removing her jacket, Aliyah tied it around her waist and reached for the communicator around her neck. She twisted the cord around her finger as she walked through the long grass. It was a communicator that linked her to the other Ninja's, Cam had created her a new one after she had 'lost' hers in the dimension she'd become trapped in with Catastros; but she'd already tried the communicator and it wasn't working. Something was obviously blocking the signal.
Snapping her morpher open and closed, Aliyah pressed the 'call' button and lifted it to her lips. "Tyzonn, can you hear me?" she asked. Despite not being able to reach Cam and the others, she figured that if she and Tyzonn were in the same place then he was bound to hear his morpher, and he'd be able to answer her. Maybe her communicators to Cam weren't working because of the dimension, it had happened before, why couldn't it happen now? But still, that didn't mean that any transmission inside the dimension couldn't get through. "T, if you can hear me, answer me."
There was nothing but static noise.
Aliyah sighed and took her finger off of the call button. She wasn't about to give up faith. She'd seen someone walking near the tree line, if she could find then and get them to tell her where she was, then maybe she could find Tyzonn and get the hell out of the dimension. Her gut feeling was back, and it was telling her that her friends were in trouble.
"Who goes there?"
Aliyah jumped and looked around. A female with long blonde hair and silver eyes was staring down at her. Aliyah recognised her, but despite that she was still prepared to fight if she needed too. "You're Vella," Aliyah said. "T's fiancé."
"Who?"
"Oh, sorry," Aliyah said. "I mean Tyzonn."
"Who are you?"
"I'm Aliyah. I'm a friend of Tyzonn. Do you know where he is?"
Vella shook his head. "You clearly have the wrong person," she said. "I know no Tyzonn."
"I'm pretty sure you do," Aliyah said. "You're a spitting image of Vella, unless of course there is two of her."
"You need to leave."
"Tried, can't," Aliyah said. "Besides, I'm not leaving without my friend."
"I told you, there's no Tyzonn here!"
Aliyah stared hard at the blonde above her. "Excuse me if I don't take your word for it," she said. "But I'd rather make the assumption myself."
Vella growled and jumped at Aliyah. The white Ranger defended herself but raising her hands and grabbing onto Vella's arms. The two rolled for a short distance, landing with Vella on top of Aliyah and trying to scratch at her face.
"Dude! Seriously, is this how you greet people?" Aliyah yelled, managing to knee Vella in the side and push her off. Getting back to her feet, Aliyah kicked up at Vella as the blonde jumped at her again. Vella groaned and crashed back into a tree trunk, slumping to the ground as her image shimmered. "What the -?" Aliyah frowned.
The image of Vella disappeared, leaving behind a shimmering silver cat.
"Crazar!" Aliyah yelled.
Crazar snarled at Aliyah and then disappeared.
"No, wait!" Aliyah yelled, looking around her surroundings. But once again she was alone.
~*Secrets and Lies*~
Tyzonn looked at Vella in surprise. She was running towards him, looking frazzled and out of breath. "What's wrong?" he asked her. "What happened?"
"Someone attacked me," Vella answered.
"What? Who?"
"I didn't get her name. She said she was after you too. I think she works with the Fearcats."
Tyzonn clenched his hands into fists and looked around. "Where is she?" he asked.
"No, Tyzonn, we must go now before she finds us," Vella said. "I tried to stop her, but she's stronger than she looks, and she fights dirty. I didn't even have a chance to get up and she kicked me down again."
"But she hurt you," Tyzonn said.
Vella shook her head and took his hand. "Please, let's just go," she pleaded.
"Oh, please, don't tell me you're stupid enough to fall for that, T."
Tyzonn jumped in surprise and turned to see Aliyah standing beside a tree not that far away. She looked exactly like she had done when they left the base earlier that morning - he shook his head, trying to remind himself that it had all been a dream, and that Aliyah was nothing but a figment of his imagination. "You hurt my Vella," he said, pointing at her.
"Okay and here was me thinking you had a little more brains than the others," Aliyah said. "Don't tell me you've fallen for little miss innocents trap." She nodded at Vella.
"Who are you? Who do you work for?"
Aliyah frowned. "T, you know who I am," she said. "You know who I work for too. You work for the same person. The Power Rangers."
"The Power Rangers aren't real," said Tyzonn.
"I wish that were true," said Aliyah. "Or even wish that I wasn't one. But it's true, dude, you're a Ranger. We both are."
"No! It was all in my head!" Tyzonn argued.
Vella smirked.
"Do you really believe that?" Aliyah asked. "Or do you believe it because she told you too?"
Tyzonn shook his head.
"Ask her, T," Aliyah pressed. "Ask her for the truth."
"No! You're trying to confuse me!"
"I'm trying to get you to see!" Aliyah yelled. "She's not Vella, T. It's Crazar. I don't know how but she someone morphed into Vella to trick you, and you're playing right into her trap. Don't let her trick you."
Tyzonn grabbed his head and turned to Vella. "What's she talking about?" he asked.
"I don't know," Vella said. "But don't listen to her, Ty, she's working with the Fearcats, she'll do anything to get inside your head."
Aliyah growled and jumped at Vella. "Knock it off with the head games, Crazar," she yelled knocking the blonde female down.
"Ty!" Vella yelled.
"No!" Tyzonn shouted, shoving Aliyah away from his fiancé.
The white Ranger groaned and carefully got back to her feet. "Damnit, T," she yelled, pressing a hand to her head. She had hit it against the trunk of a tree after he had pushed her away. "I'm trying to help!"
"You attacked her," Tyzonn shouted. "No one attacks Vella."
"The Fearcats did," Aliyah said. "Remember? The cave in. The Fearcats were inside causing havoc, you sent your team in and the Fearcats had gotten out somehow. They caused the landslide that trapped your team and Vella inside the cave. Ask her how she got out, Tyzonn, go on! Ask her. I bet she won't be able to tell you."
Tyzonn hesitated and turned to Vella. He wanted to ask her everything, but he wasn't sure where to start. He remembered the cave in, and the fact that she had been trapped, but she had told him that it had been the other way around. That he had been trapped and unconscious for a few days.
But before Tyzonn could voice his concerns, there was a sharp beeping sound. It was coming from inside Vella's coat.
"What's that?" Tyzonn asked.
"It's your morpher," Aliyah said. "I've been trying to contact you since I woke up."
"Don't listen to her," Vella insisted. "That noise is nothing but her trying to trick you. Don't fall for it." She took a step backwards, a move that cost her greatly as Tyzonn's morpher fell to the ground.
Tyzonn picked it up and turned it over his hands. He frowned and glanced over his shoulder at Aliyah, if his morpher was real, then she had to be real too. "What's going on, Vella?" he asked, turning back to his fiancé.
"Ty, I can explain," Vella said, taking a step back towards her fiancé.
"No. You can't," Tyzonn said, shaking his head. "That means it all really happened. I was a Power Ranger. That means my friends are in danger!"
"No. You've got it all wrong," Vella said. "It's you who's really in danger."
"Look out!" Aliyah yelled, running forward and pushing Tyzonn asked as Vella blasted them both with her hands. The two groaned and hit the ground, looking up over their shoulders as Vella turned into Crazar before their eyes.
Crazar laughed and raised her staff above the two rangers. "Don't look so shocked, Mercurian," she said. "You can't rid of a fearcat that easily."
"What have you done with Vella?" Tyzonn asked.
"I replicated her," Crazar explained. "After the cave-in, I though her image might come in handy."
"If you've replicated her, that means she's still alive. Now tell me where she is!"
"Don't fret. She's in good hands."
"What do you want?" Aliyah asked. "Aside from the obvious. What was the whole point in this?"
"It was too keep you busy," Crazar said. "While the others destroyed your friends. And it would've worked too, had it not been for your meddling, white Ranger!"
"Glad I could be of service," Aliyah said, smirking.
"But now the game is over, who needs you?" Crazar asked, raising her staff higher.
Aliyah rolled to the side as Crazar slashed down at her. "I was thinking the same thing," she said. "Once we destroy you, we'll go after Mig and Benglo."
"Not a chance!"
~*Secrets and Lies*~
With the other Zords fully repaired and prepared for battle, the team headed off to help Mack, who was still keeping close guard over the Tigerzord as it gnawed at Agrios with its teeth and claws. The Fearcats shouted in anger from inside their command ship, but there was nothing they could do to remove the tiger from their chest.
"Hey, Mack, need a little help?" Will asked as he and the others arrived in the DriveMax Megazord.
"Yeah!" Mack nodded. He powered down the self-destruct as the critical overload of energy reverted back to its main functions.
"Saba, release!" Tyler shouted as he flew overhead in his sonic streaker. The white Tigerzord got up off of Agrios and retreated back to the Overdrive base.
Agrios snarled and stood up. Parts of his chest were exposed from where the Tigerzord had ripped into him with its claws, but that wasn't enough to keep him down. He raised his sword above his head and swung it at the two Megazords before him.
Ronny raised the fist of the DriveMax Megazord, and blocked the incoming blade. Agrios punched the Megazord in retaliation, and then shoved the Flashpoint out of its way.
"Give up!" Mig and Benglo shouted, pushing forward on their controls. Agrios spun in a circle, hitting the two Megazords with his fists.
"Oh, man," Will grumbled as the two Megazords hit the floor. "Here we go again."
"Keep it together, team," Tyler said, flying in overhead and opening fire on Agrios. He covered his head with his arms and then punched the green Ranger out of the sky. Tyler groaned and quickly pulled back, swooping into the air and regaining control over his Zord. "That was a close one," he murmured.
"How can we beat it?" Dax asked from the DriveMax.
"Keep fighting," Mack encouraged. "Come on."
Clutching their sword tightly, the DriveMax stormed forward and cut the blade across Agrios' stomach. It was still wounded from the tiger's attack, and the additional hit was enough to send its energy into the red.
Agrios roared and opened its arms wide. The lasers on its chest loaded up and exploded out, showering the two Megazords with enough energy to cause their circuits and controls to explode.
The Fearcats laughed as the Megazords hit the ground.
"They're down for the count," Mig said, observing the damage they had done.
"Finally!"
A savage roar caught Agrios's attention and he turned to see a white blur rushing towards him. He backed away and swatted at the blur, narrowly missing it but eliciting a lot of pain as sharp teeth latched onto his wrist and started twisting and pulling.
"It's time you learned a lesson in playing with fire," shouted a familiar voice. There was a loud tearing noise, followed by Agrios' cry of pain, and his hand hit the floor at his feet.
"It's that animal!" Benglo said, recognizing the white Tiger.
"What's going on?" Tyler asked, flying around. "Cam, call Saba back."
"He's not responding," Cam replied.
"Tigerzord, convert to warrior mode, now!"
"Wait, Ali?" Tyler asked, sounding hopeful.
"What?" Aliyah asked, grinning. "You didn't expect us to let you have all the fun, did you?"
Tyler laughed and swooped over the newly created warrior mode. He was glad that his cousin was alright and alive.
"What do you mean 'we'?" Mack asked from the flashpoint.
Agrios groaned as he was taken by surprise and knocked off of his feet by a missile to the stomach. The Rangers, save for Aliyah, turned in the direction the missile had come and saw the battlefleet rolling into view.
"Who's that?" Ronny asked.
"Who do you think?" Aliyah asked.
"Tyzonn!" Rose exclaimed.
"Now that the team is back together," Aliyah said. "Everyone ready to finish this?"
"Ready!" the others shouted from their respective Zords.
Mack fired up his blasters, shooting an array of water bombs at Agrios, whilst Tyler flew around its head firing every blaster he had at his disposal, the DriveMax wielded its sword in a circle, slashing through it and attacking Agrios with high velocity energy, Tyzonn attacked with more missiles, leaving Aliyah to hammer Agrios with a bombardment of thunderbolts from the warrior mode.
"This can't be happening!" Benglo shouted, surprised at the sudden turn of events.
"Believe it!" Aliyah shouted, converting back to Tiger mode and charging Agrios. She head-butted him hard and shoved him out of the city and into a clearing where he could cause any more harm.
"Whoo-hoo!" Tyler shouted, swooping in. He turned the sonic streaker upside down as he flew in and fired his lasers all the more at Agrios.
"Let's show him what we're made of!" Mack shouted, jumping from the Flashpoint into the DriveMax and combining with the Battlefleet.
"Stop them!" Mig shouted, firing his weapons at the Megazord. Mack batted them aside with the DriveMax sword.
"We're gonna need more power!" Tyzonn shouted.
"On the way," Cam said, dispatching the Sentinel sword from the base. It appeared in the hands of the DriveMax.
"Operation Overdrive, arsenal ready!" the team of eight shouted, as the DriveMax used the sword to destroy Agrios and the Fearcats... once and for all.
~*Secrets and Lies*~
With the Fearcats and Agrios destroyed, Aliyah ejected from the tiger Zord and searched the debris for the chalice. She found it hidden beneath the destroyed cockpit and picked it up, brushing off the soot and dirt.
Once happy with her find, she returned to the mansion where the others were waiting for her in Andrew's office.
"One mythical chalice as ordered," Aliyah said, placing the chalice on Andrew's desk and stepping away.
"How did you know it'd survived the blast?" Tyler asked, nudging his cousin.
"Lucky guess," Aliyah replied.
Andrew smiled and surveyed the team "Good work, Rangers," he praised. "The Fearcats are gone forever."
"Well, how does it feel, T?" Ronny asked, looking to the Mercurian. "Your mission to defeat the Fearcats is over."
"That part may be over, but Vella is alive," Tyzonn said, remembering that Crazar had replicated his fiancé, and the only way she could've done that was if Vella was still alive. "She's still out there somewhere. Once our mission is over, I'm gonna find her."
"We'll do everything we can to help," Aliyah said, squeezing his shoulder.
The others nodded in agreement.
"Thank you, my friends," Tyzonn replied.
"Meanwhile, we have another cool relic to decipher," Dax said, picking up the chalice.
"The Fearcats said it had more than one use," Will said. "Wonder what that means?"
"It means more research," Rose grinned, happily. "Come on, team, we better get on it."
Aliyah groaned and raised her hand. "Oh come on," she whined. "Don't we at least get a break? I think, after today, we've all earned one."
"Research is a break for you," Tyler said.
"Whatever," Aliyah muttered following the others from the room. She paused outside and turned back as she heard Andrew call out to Mack. He wanted to talk.
"I understand why you're still angry with me," Andrew said.
"I'm not angry," Mack said. "Anger is an emotion, which is something that Androids don't have, so if you don't like the way I've been acting, then perhaps you should upgrade to a newer model."
Aliyah winced at the harshness in Mack's words and let out a sigh. She understood that she and her uncle would never see eye-to-eye, and while she completely understood Mack's reasons to avoid his father, she could also see the hurt it was causing Andrew to have his only son turn against him.
Being lied to was never easy, and finding out that you've been lied to over a period of time is worse. When Rebecca had done it, Aliyah had done the only thing she knew how; she got angry and pushed her sister away. For her, it had been easy, she had never been the type of girl to worry about guilt, but that didn't mean she wasn't immune to it.
And while she didn't feel guilty for taking Mack's side in the whole android situation, even she could see the damage it was doing to Andrew. He regretted his mistake in not telling his son the truth, and now he was paying the consequences, but that didn't give her - or Mack - the right to kick Andrew while he was down.
Waiting for Mack to leave the room, and disappear from view, Aliyah returned to the office to find her uncle staring at his desk. He wasn't crying, but the pain was evident on his face. "For what it's worth," she said, startling him. "You didn't deserve that. I'm not condemning what you did, and I'll never forgive you for lying to us, but I'll talk to Mack. Although I can't force him to talk to or forgive you. But I can open his eyes to a life without a father who loves him."
Andrew nodded.
Aliyah hesitated, nodded once and then headed for the door. She pulled it closed behind her and could've sworn, just before it clicked shut, she heard Andrew say: "Thank you."

Aliyah may not agree with Andrew and his methods, and she's been burned by secrets and lies in the past, she's also not one to kick a dog while it's down. Andrew is that dog, and lets me honest; Mack was a bit harsh towards his father in this episode.
So, can Aliyah get Mack to realise his mistake before it's too late? Keep reading to find out.
Also, don't forget to check out "Memoirs of a Ranger" by PotionFelicis2544. It's very well written, and done in a style that looks strange but really works.
