Chapter 19: Mr Hammer?
That morning Harleen awoke with Joker nudging against her arm.
"Harley, wake up."
She opened her eyes instantly at the sound of the crazy man's voice. He was sitting up, leaning over her.
"Punkin' I have to go. You're staying here. Got it?"
Harleen bolted up, realizing she wasn't dreaming.
"What!? Oh, God! No! It was all real!?"
"What was all real, baby?"
Everything was real. She had really been kidnapped by the Joker.
Harleen turned her head towards him, frowning. "Don't call me that!"
He growled to himself.
"I'll call you whatever the hell I want to call you! Got it!?" He screamed.
A tear dripped down her pale cheek as she nodded.
"Now…where was I…?" He thought to himself for a moment. "Oh…right. I have to go, uh, take care of some criminal business. You are staying here. My henchmen will take care of you and don't you dare try to escape! Understand!?"
Harleen nodded.
"Good."
He caressed her cheek gently and kissed it.
"I'll see you soon, Doll."
He jumped up off the bed and did a once over in the mirror before opening up the door to leave. She heard a clank on the other side as he locked the door, keeping her in the room against her will.
Harleen was scared of him. She didn't know what he'd do once she escaped, if she could escape. Like he'd said. There were henchmen out there, probably armed. What was she going to do!?
Harleen slid out of bed quietly, and put her ear to the door. She didn't hear anything but there could still be henchmen out there. She heard a car start a couple minutes later down below her window. She looked out, bending back the blinds. It was Joker leaving. Harleen glanced around the room, taking in her surroundings. There was a note taped to a door over beside the bed.
"Harl's, this is the Bathroom. While we were asleep I had my henchmen get some things from your home. Your makeup, toothbrush, and toothpaste are in there as well as your other feminine assets. There's everything from brushes to tampons and pads. See you soon, Doll.
~ Love J."
She opened the door. The bathroom was rather big, not as big as hers, but big for a small abandoned apartment. Yet thankfully It was clean. She looked down at the toilet and realized how much she needed to pee. She rushed over and pulled down her pants, sitting down, shivering at the cold. After she was done, Harleen looked at her appearance in the small mirror. She looked pretty bad but way better then she usually did when she woke up in the morning, especially this early. She noticed that there was another note taped beside the mirror on the plain white wall.
"If you want to take a shower, feel free to do so. What's mine is yours. The towels are in the cabinet beside the shower.
~ Love J."
She sighed in relief. She needed a shower. She didn't stink, but she needed the hot water to calm her nerves. Harleen got in and washed her hair with the shampoo Joker had gotten from her home. Cherry blossom scented. Her favorite.
She took a long shower, washing every part of her body, letting the water from the shower head beat onto her back. It felt good. After she was done. She dried off, brushed her teeth, and thoroughly washed her face.
Harleen put on her usual makeup and brushed through her hair. She realized that she hadn't brought in any clothes from the dresser along with her into the bathroom. She was afraid to go get them just in case someone walked in on her naked.
She peeked out from behind the door, no one was there. So she ran quietly to 'her' dresser and picked out an outfit. A black tee shirt, tight fitting… great…. She found a pair of shorts, they were dark red and looked custom made, her own panties and bras from her home were neatly stacked in there as well. She blushed a little at the thought of his henchmen or even the Joker himself folding her panties.
Harleen got dressed. And finished getting ready, no one had come by to see her yet, She didn't know whether that was a good thing or a bad thing, On one hand, what if his henchmen were mean to her, or even hurt her? On the other hand, what if they were nice and took good care of her? And what if they even set her free!? She sighed and walked over to the door.
Only one way to find out.
She lent against the wooden entrance and listened but didn't hear anything. "Hello?" She knocked loudly on the door to try to get someone's attention. "Hello, anyone there!?" She screamed louder again. "Hello!?"
Harleen heard foot steps and a loud shuffle outside the room. Her heart beat louder as the door knob turned and she backed up against the bed, quickly sitting down, waiting to see who it was. She prayed that they wouldn't hurt her.
The door opened, and a big henchman walked in. He was tall, at least 7 ft. And his muscles had muscles. Curiously, he was just one armed, with a few impressive tattoos.
Harleen smiled a small nervous smile. "H-Hi. Um-"
He interrupted her. "Hungry, mizz?" His voice was deep and rough like nails and his words were thick with a Russian accent. He predicted what she was going to say so he continued. "My name iz Mr. Hammer."
