Hello, my lovely readers. It's that time again and your votes have been cast and tallied. On with the show…

Chapter 28: See You Later

During the episode of Big Brother we saw the houseguests begin to vote for who they wanted out of the house. Kol made a secret decision to go against an agreement with his sister and his family's alliance. But he is not the only one to have switched sides. Let's watch footage from earlier in the day.

Rebekah is outside, laying in the hammock, working on a tan. Katherine takes a seat beside her. "We need to send Stefan home," Katherine announces nonchalantly to which Rebekah scoffs.

"Yes. Isn't that obvious?" Rebekah rolls her eyes and turns her head on the remaining doppleganger.

"Yeah. Well, what you might not know is that Stefan and that do-gooder side kick of his are trying to get people to vote your honey out," Katherine added with a smirk.

Rebekah's head whirled to stare at Katherine. "And how did you happen to get this information?" she asked through gritted teeth.

"A little birdy was flying by the pink room and happened to hear that Stefan offered to vote with the ladies all the way to the final four as long as they kept him safe," Kat whispered.

"Really? Were there any other deals that those two might have made?" Rebekah inquired, pulling her knees to her chest and glaring at Katherine.

"Don't kill the messenger… But Stefan might have made a deal with Kol to get Jeremy out of the house," Katherine said slowly as Rebekah bared her teeth.

"That little turn coat," Rebekah seethed.

"Yeah. I wouldn't loose it too much. Or you might find the house turning against Jer. And that would be really horrible," Katherine called as Rebekah sped into the house. Katherine grinned at the camera and gave it a thumbs up.

Kol comes to lay on the hammock. "How did Mission: send the Murdering Hunter" go?" he asked with a lazy smile.

"It went how we thought it would," Kat replied with a grin.

"Good," Kol replied as Bonnie opened the sliding door and stared at them for a long time, her lips turning into a thin line. "Dear, looks like my pet is jealous." And off Kol went to leave Katherine to gloat over her plan to get all of Elena's family out.

Rebekah entered the diary room and glared at the door that had closed behind her older brother. "Kol is a little shit and if I could I would send him packing instead of one of the nominees," she told the camera before Julie could greet her.

"Hello, it's good to see to you, too, Rebekah," Julie replied with a smile.

Rebekah huffed and crossed her arms. "Yes, right. This is not a very good night, as you well know. That fool just voted for Jeremy, didn't he?" Rebekah asked with a deadly glare.

"Rebekah, you know that I cannot give you that information. And for the sake of time, you need to cast your vote," Julie reminded a perturbed Mikaelson sister.

"Yes. Of course I do. I vote for Kol Mikaelson. Katherine Pierce. And anyone who was foolish enough to try to hurt the man that I love," Rebekah snarled.

"Love?" Julie smiled more widely. "Are you telling us that you have found love in the house this season?"

Rebekah blushed crimson. "I suppose I have. Klaus would say I give my heart away too easily. But Jeremy is a sweet boy. And I can overlook the whole his being hunter. Unless he tries to kill me or wants to get married in Italy. I think we should marry in a Hawaii." Grinning brightly, Rebekah was about to tell Julie about what her dress would look like when she remembered she was supposed to vote.

"Bekah, get on with it!" Klaus thundered from the other side of the door, giving it a healthy kick that nearly knocked it off its hinges.

"Typical Nik," Rebekah muttered. "I vote for Stefan, the former love of my life. Well, one of many. But that is the way it is when you've lived as long as I have. Or you're Nik," she added with a grin. Getting up, Rebekah walked over and flung the door open. "It's all yours," she announced with a smile.

Klaus muttered an insult before slamming the diary room door behind his sister. "Right then," he grunted, taking a seat across from the cover. "Let's dispense with the chit chat. I want Stefan gone. If we keep him, that fool of his brother will win this bloody competition somehow. Don't ask me how. But he always finds a way to escape things. Look at what happened when Alaric became an Original Vampire and killed me. But did he kill Damon, no. Of course not. Because Damon bloody Salvatore comes out on bloody top. Not this time, Damon. I'm going to take us to the final four and then I will send you home."

"Thanks, Klaus," Julie said politely.

"I was not done yet," Klaus complained. "You were chatting with Elijah for going on half a bloody hour. Why don't I get the same time? I have my own show now!"

"Technically, Klaus, it's not your show," Julie reminded the Original whose eyes began to glow and his claws grew outward.

"Honey, what's taking so long?" Caroline cried from the other side of the door. When Klaus opened it, his werewolf had become dormant.

"Sorry, love. Having a bit of a difference of opinion with our hostess," Klaus replied. Kissing Caroline lightly on the lips, he left.

Caroline came in and sat down, giving the camera an unhappy look with her arms folded over her chest. "What was that about?" she demanded from Julie.

"What was what about, Caroline?" Julie asked innocently.

"You upset him!" Caroline snapped. "Do you know how long it takes him to cool down? Do you? He will keep me up all night complaining and plotting. All night! Do you know that vampires need sleep? Seriously! I do not want to get up with bags under my eyes. In this house, makeup is like cigarettes in prison. And you would not believe what Kat will make you do for some."

Shot earlier in the day:

"Kat, can I get some eyeliner?" Caroline asked Katherine standing in the bathroom while the doopleganger put on mascara.

Katherine turned to Caroline with a hand on her hip. "Only if you'll vote the way I ask you to in the eviction," Katherine stated with a smirk.

Caroline rolls her eyes and holds out her hand for the eyeliner Katherine slaps into her hand, leaning over to the blonde vampire and whispering into her ear. Caroline pulls back with a look of dismay. "No, I won't. I will vote against -"

Caroline is unable to verbalize the name because Katherine slammed her hand over Caroline's mouth. "Not so fast. You want everyone to know whose going home?"

"How do you know that person is going home?" Caroline asks with wide eyes.

Katherine shrugged. "I don't. But I have a feeling."

"Caroline, we really need you to vote. Now," Julie reminds Caroline who had been avoiding voting thus far.

"Okay. Okay. I vote," Caroline began to chew at her lower lip before mumbling something that the audience can't hear.

"I'm sorry, Caroline, we couldn't hear you," Julie says.

"I vote for Stefan. Okay? Are you happy now?" Caroline asks. "Stupid eyeliner vote." Folding her arms, Caroline hurries out of the room on the edge of tears.

Julie returns to talk to the guests in the living room. "Tyler, you may now enter the diary room," she calls.

On his way to the diary room, Tyler is passed by Caroline. Although they were no longer together and it hurt like hell when she chose Klaus, he still cared about her. "Hey, Care are you okay?" he asked.

"Yeah," Caroline replied with a sniffle and a shrug.

"No you aren't," Tyler retorted. "Tell me what happened. Was it Klaus, 'cause I'll totally kick his ass for you?"

Caroline looked up and snorted. "Ty, I don't want Klaus to get sent home for killing you. So, please, don't do anything stupid."

"'Kay. But you know you can tell me stuff, right?" Tyler asked.

"Sure. Okay," Caroline nodded and then looked at the wall before looking Tyler in the eye again.

"Katherine forced me to vote against Stefan for eye makeup," Caroline announced with a heavy sigh.

"You gave up your best friend for makeup?" Tyler began to laugh at that one and Caroline blushed.

"It's not funny, Ty," Caroline complained, swatting him on the arm.

"Sure it is," Tyler replied. "If it'll make you feel better. I'll vote against Jeremy."

"You will?" Caroline broke into a huge smile. Giving Tyler a hug, she flounced back to the living room.

Tyler was bobbing his head and whistling as he entered the diary room. "Hey, Julie," Tyler called with a wide smile.

"Looks like you're on the road to friendship with Caroline," Julie told Tyler who shook his head.

"Nope. I'm getting my girl back before we leave this house. And we all know that Stefan Salvatore used to be Klaus' little bitch. So there's no way in hell I'm voting to keep his vampire ass in here. Bon, Matt, Jer, Caroline and I are going to be the final five. All of us got our lives trashed because of first the Salvatores, then the Originals. I won't be happy until they're all out of this house."

"That sounds like your declaring war," Julie said with a frown thinking of Elijah and his suits.

"Yeah. That's what I'm doing. I'm voting Stefan out this week and whichever one of those blood suckers I can get next week," Tyler added with a smile.

"You remember that you're a hybrid?" Julie asked.

"Yeah. 'Cause of Klaus. I wish I could send him home next week," Tyler said before leaving the room.

Jenna was the next to enter the room. "Hello," she called warily.

Julie smiled back at her. "Hello, Jenna, you can cast your vote any time you like since we're one week behind our schedule, or maybe it's a year."

Jenna nodded thoughtfully. "Yes. I've put a lot of thought into this. I have decided to vote for Stefan because of this talk that Ric and I were having. He'll tell you more about it because I really need a drink. I think that there's going to be a lot of yelling soon."

"Who are you voting for, Jenna?" Julie called since Jenna had gotten up and tried to escape the diary room without casting her vote.

Jenna hesitated with a groan. "Ummm… Stefan. I guess. Like I said. Talk to Ric," opening the door, Jenna only stopped to hug Ric before hurrying through the living room on the way to the kitchen. That was when she remembered that she could not drink that week due to being on slop. Slumping to the floor, Jenna began to weep.

Ric was the last to enter the diary room. "Hello, Ric," Julie greeted him.

"Hey, Julie," Ric replied with a grin.

"Jenna tells me that you have some sort of secret agenda surrounding how you are voting. Can you explain what she meant by that?" Julie questions Ric.

Ric smiles back. "Yeah. Sure. Well, while I was on The Other Side, I had a lot of time to think about things. You see I saw this pattern where almost everyone who is a parent or responsible for the youth of Mystic Falls, dies. It really seems unfair. And, back in my drinking and being married to Isobel and being crazy days, I used to watch Big Brother on my laptop. That was before I got saddled with Lena and Jer. Not to say I don't love those kids. I do. It's just without Jenna, I am beginning to lose my mind, again. Anyway, I realized that Jenna died. Then I died and I bet you that Carol Lockwood and Liz Forbes and countless others will die. Why? Because we're the parents or caregivers. So, it's like kill anyone who is over forty, unless they look like they're twenty. Then they're safe."

"That does make sense, Ric. So, is that why you plan to vote Stefan out?" Julie asked.

"Yes, he's just got that really annoying, I'm going to be a kid forever thing going on. Seriously! I bet that if they had some guy playing Stefan he'd be like thirty something playing seventeen. Why do kids fall for that crap?" Alaric shook his head.

"Thank you for voting, Ric, you can go back to the living room where I will announce to Stefan that he will be going home," Julie intoned and Ric left.

Turning to the audience, Julie smiled. "It looks like the Salvatore brothers are about to be torn apart. But what will this mean for the rest for the house? Let's find out." Turning back to the screen to look at the houseguests, Julie smiles at them.

"Hello, houseguests. The votes have been tallied. Are you ready to hear who will be leaving the house this week?" Julie asked.

"Yes," Damon shouted with a look of irritation.

"Liz, you received one vote," Julie intoned. Caroline and Liz let out sighs of relief as Klaus grinned happily. "Jeremy, you received three votes," their host continued and Jeremy looked uncomfortable as Rebekah began to threaten her houseguests. "And, Stefan, with eight votes, you need to say a quick good-bye to your fellow houseguests and leave the house."

Stefan nodded. He did not seem too surprised as Damon began to glare at the others. "No, this is not happening. First Elena. Now, Stef. What is wrong with you people?" Damon yelled at the other houseguests.

Bonnie was standing to the side with her arms folded over her chest. She was not sure which of the three she had meant to send home. And now that Damon was setting his sights on her, she knew that she had a large target on her back. "You!" Damon growled, moving toward Bonnie. This is ALL your fault!" he shouted as Stefan wrapped both arms around his brother, holding him back.

"Damon, stop," Stefan cried, holding onto his big brother. "It's not like I'm dead. We'll see each other again. Just keep your cool and stay in the game."

Turning to Stefan, Damon hugged his brother tightly feeling like he was losing everyone he cared about, one by one. "You, try not to make any moves on Elena while I'm gone," he growled and Stefan laughed.

"I'll try not to," Stefan replied.

Caroline was crying by the door when Stefan moved toward it. "Hey, don't cry. You're still here. And you're going to take this whole thing, 'cause you're Caroline Forbes," Stefan reassured his friend, kissing her on the forehead as she giggled.

"I'm going to miss you, Stefan," Caroline groaned.

"I know," Stefan replied before turning to Caroline's husband.

"Ripper," Klaus said, holding out his hand.

Taking Klaus' hand, Stefan smiled. "Not lately. No thanks to you," he joked when Klaus yanked him into a one arm hug.

"I voted for you to go," Klaus whispered.

Stefan pulled back, still smiling, "I know," he replied as Klaus smirked.

Lexi was the next to say good-bye. "I can't believe that I'm still here and you're going home," she said, her eyes crinkling in the corner as she smiled at her old friend.

"Hey, you win some, you lose some. Just keep an eye of Damon. Make sure he doesn't commit game suicide," Stefan advised Lexi who nodded.
"I'll try. But Damon is Damon," Lexi replied and opened the door so that Stefan could go out to meet the audience.

Shouldering his bag, Stefan left the house and then dropped his bag when Julie came forward to meet him. "Hi, Stefan," Julie greeted him. "Come, sit," she waved at a seat and Stefan sat down across from her, waving to fans who held up #Team Stefan, #Team Defan, #Team Stelena, #Team Steroline and #Team Klefan signs.

"It' great to be here," Stefan enthused until someone screamed.

"Damon and Elena will be together forever, hero hair!"

"Okay," Stefan rolled his eyes with a tight smile.

"What do you think happened that caused you to be out of here, tonight?" Julie asked.

"I think that I could have spent more time trying to make better alliances. I know that I had Damon, Lexi, Caroline and Elena in the beginning. But then Caroline married Klaus and became part of the whole Originals family. They tend to stick together."

"Do you think that if you had rethought your game plan and closely aligned yourself with Klaus or rekindled your romance with Rebekah, that you might still be in the house?" Julie asked.

"Maybe. I don't know. It could be that would have been the worst thing for my game plan because there will come a time when the Originals will have to take each other out. But they'll probably take each other's love interests out first, like Katherine and Bonnie, maybe Caroline."

"I see," Julie nodded. "Well, we have a surprise for you. Actually, we have two."

"Okay," Stefan replied, trying to not look nervous.

"First, there is a twist this summer in which we are allowing everyone who has been evicted thus far to fight to re-enter the game," Julie announced with a smile.

"Everyone?" Stefan looked thoughtful. "Okay, what's the other one?"

"The other one is that you will be the second member of our jury," Julie told Stefan who looked unhappy.

"You mean I'm going to spend the next week stuck in a house with Sage. Alone?" Stefan gulped. "You won't let her kill me, right?"

"Don't worry, Stefan. We keep a close eye on the jury house. Almost as much as we watch the big house," she smiled again and Stefan gulped.

"Almost?" Stefan answered and looked at the fans who had lowered the signs and were now looking glum.

"Let's check in on the houseguests as we leave," Julie called.

Inside the house Damon was yelling at Bonnie, pointing his finger. Kol came up behind Damon and hit him with his baseball bat. Lexi attacked Kol. Bonnie threw Lexi across the room with a flick of her wrist. Damon took Kol's baseball bat and began to beat the Original with his anger from seeing his baby brother thrown out of the house.

Elijah separated the two. Katherine was painting her toenails and ignoring the chaos. Caroline was weeping in a corner while a concerned Klaus tried to console her. Tyler was watching Caroline and Klaus and smiling. Jeremy and Rebekah had gone outside to lay in the hammock and watch the sunset. Lexi was making a list of people to take down in the pink room.

Jenna was sitting in the shower with the door closed, waiting for everyone to stop. Ric had gone up to the HoH room to read a book while plotting how to make sure the adults had a fair chance at staying till the end. Liz was praying that Caroline did not lose her mind when she was evicted. And Matt was happy that no one remembered that he was still there.

Tune in Monday, July 6 ('cause of the the July 4th) holiday to see who will be the next HoH.

Thank you for reading, faving, following and for reviewing:

Answers to reviews:

Ellerose77: The credit for that choice goes to ObsessWithElijah and I thought it was a good pick, too. Who would expect Bonnie to put Care's mom up?

MissJess13: Sorry, not this week anyway. Thanks for voting.

Redbudrose: Kol is sneaky like that.

ObessWithElijah: And when he's gone there will be a new HoH in the next chapter.

Vonpringle: Sorry, not this week. Just remember when it comes time that I announce that the houseguests are coming back to attempt to re-enter the house to vote for Stefan. And we will see him again when we visit the jury house.

Imagination Running Wild: I took the first person you mentioned as your vote. I know. Jerbekah are a crack couple, but I like to write about them in some of my AUs. Elijah will be HoH very soon but not this coming week.

Peace,

Jessica
