The blackout had only lasted for a short amount of time, but Zane had already knew something bad were to come out of it.

He turned to the others who were on the floor from the aftershock, they looked around in full gape a bit startled.

"W-What the hell was that-" Cole questioned, quivering.

Zane didn't want his assumptions to be correct, but it wasn't the surge that had sealed the truth.

It was the roar.

Everyone stood still as the sound of a bellowing dragon rang through the building, one that did not sound happy. "Is that-"

"Jay," Kai cut in, a bit agitated, "so it looks like he's finally turned, puh, took him long enough..."

"T-That...t-that's a good thing, right?" Cole sputtered, for the first time ever he was fearful. Zane was silent, he looked out into the darkened building as another echo rang out, this time louder.

They had to get out of here, now.

Zane gripped on the bars, since the blackout occurred, he wasn't able to feel a shock surge through him, which also meant their cell was open. He pushed open the door, providing their escape and turned to the others, "Alright, we're free."

The others just stared.

"Are you telling me t-that door was open the entire time?!" Kai shrieked.

"Not entirely, it was the result of the blackout, now hurry. I know Jay's rage isn't one to deal with even while in his dragon form, judging from his noise, now move!" Zane shouted.

The others made no hesitation, Cole offering to carry Andrea out and Zane leading the way, they all made it out of their cell in time for another one of Jay's tantrums. The snakes however, weren't in much luck as the ninja, the Serpentines plan is what brought Jay's pain and so the lightning master decided it was time for them to pay the expense. A couple of Hypnobrai made their way towards the exit, but what met them was the angry face of the lightning beast. They shuddered before him, on the verge of begging for mercy. But one look from Jay's piercing eyes and they knew one plead was not to do them any good. Jay growled and charged, his mouth beginning to emit a large bulb of electricity. The snakes had only one choice-to stay and defend the others, or to run.

They chose to run.

"AHHHH!" they screamed, picking up speed as Jay fired his bolts of temper. The lower ranks ran all around the facility, trying to find safety between their tribes but it only seemed every snake was out for themselves. Jay was picking up a storm, his mouth the conductor and his lightning the weapons that would finally put the serpentine back into their place. It wasn't until the four generals, Fangtom, Skales, Acidicus and Skalidor decided to take a stand in an effort to keep their people safe. Skalidor ushered most of his men to safety, only ordering Bytar and his brothers to try and slow Jay down with a mighty earthquake, for a moment that did the trick, until Jay decided to take Skalidor from behind. "Watch out-Skalidor!" screamed Fangtom's twin heads. Skalidor didn't even have time to act, but Acidicus did. The Venomari general had a sword ready to block the blow, but Jay was pushing it forward, trying to strike.

"Acidicus! You-"

"JUSSST GO!" the general screamed.

The three generals went after their tribes, leaving Acidicus to be in charge of the mighty bringer of the storms. Jay's tail was piercing, but it was no match for Acidicus's glaive. The Venomari general smirked at Jay's surprised expression. "Come on, letsss dance," he taunted. This mockery only infuriated Jay further, causing him to bellow another great roar of anger. Acidicus gulped, ready for the worst.

Meanwhile, the other ninja were trying to find a way out of the storm farm facility, but everywhere they went it was just a pair of twists and turns. "Ugh! We've been walking for hours! We don't have time for this, my sister's in bad shape, and soon enough, we're gonna have Jay on our heels blasting out lightning!" Kai yelled.

"If you keep screaming out, you might attract guards, so keep your trap shut hothead," Cole snapped.

"Your calling me a hothead, rocky! May I remind you I've been suggesting ways to turn but all you decide on is the straight line, your stubborn that's what you are!" Kai protested.

"Oh yeah? Well your reckless and ignorant! Same as always!" Cole shrieked.

"EXCUSE ME?!"

Kai was just about ready to give Cole a piece of his mind when Lily came in between her, despite her weak state. "Both of you, cut it out! Fighting isn't going to solve any of this, and Zane's right, if you keep arguing you might as well be landing us straight into-"

A group of Serpentine rang out from the shadows, Hypnobrai. Lily flinched as well as Kai. The serpents readied their weapons for a fight, the others got ready for battle. Until Skales appeared, he saw them and instantly ordered his men to put back their weapons. This of course, surprised both the Hypnobrai and the ninja. Skales could only understand this, "I know what your thinking. Why aren't I ordering any attack?"

"Uh, yeah?" Kai started. Zane silenced him with a look, then turned back to the Hypnobrai. "We thank you for not choosing to oppose us, however I do believe you can help us some more, do you by any chance no any way out of here?" he questioned. Skales looked taken aback by his question, a bit appalled by the fact the ninja wanted help, from him...how were he to trust this wasn't one of their sneaky tactics?

His men whispered, and the ninja awaited an answer, until Skales silenced. He turned to our heroes and gave a simple nod, "Yesss, we do. But how do we know you wont betray us by leaving us to your temper-blinded friend?"

"Because believe us, we don't have any control over him either," Cole responded.

"Good," Skales spoke.

"Thank you. We wont forget this," Zane replied.

"Oh you wont, but just this once. I still aren't one to side with a ninja," Skales began.

So they agreed on a plan of escape, since Skales was already taking his men out the back, he didn't hesitate to help the ninja out as well, the ninja's luck was beginning to turn around for the better.

Acidicus however, was having a much harder time than his former friends, who some had safely reached freedom from the inside. The Venomari had lashed out long enough against Jay, who was already getting tired of the major waste of time. "Come at me beasssst!" he challenged. Jay had had enough, he roared and grabbed the general from behind with his tail, launching him high into the air. Acidicus gasped, knowing what was to happen next from the looks of the lightning ninja's wide gaping mouth below, he screamed. Skales heard his cry, he turned instantly, "Acidicusss!"

Cole grabbed him by the arm, "Whoa, whoa! Where are you going?!"

"One of the generalsss require my assssissstance, I mussst go!" Skales yelled.

With that, the general left to help his friend, the ninja being left behind with the remaining Hypnobrai.

"Forget him, we need to move!" Kai called out.

Acidicus had already began to fall from immense height, Jay awaiting his dinner. "Me and my big mouth," he moaned miserably.

However, the lightning master instead received a bitter feeling in his mouth, for Skales had arrived just in time to directly shoot an arrow through the side of his cheek. Jay shrieked and shrouded low onto the ground in pain, allowing Skales to jump in and safe Acidicus from certain death. Once they were safely on the ledge, the Venomari thanked his savior with a handshake. "Ah, Skalesss I've never been ssso happy to sssee you!" he chimed.

Skales smiled, "Assss alwaysss, friend. But thissss isssn't time to celebrate, we need to get out before-"

"Before what?!"

Before them stood Pythor, who looked immensely angry at the two. The two generals just stood in their place, not even bothering to move a muscle. "You, and your beloved people are not going anywhere! For as long as those pricks known as the ninja are contained, we will all stay in this facility under my orders!" the Anocondrai shrieked. Skales and Acidicus took a few steps back until they reached a dead end over the ledge, Pythor smirked with a bit of mischief, "or do you want me to feed you to our prisoner?"

Jay hissed and attempted to remove the arrow, once he did he scanned the room for the target until his eyes laid on Pythor. His eyes turned to slits as his anger increased...him.

Acidicus was the one to notice Jay's acknowledgment, and so, once Pythor was threateningly close to their spot, he swung him forward towards Jay. The Anocondrai screamed and fastened his fingers onto the ledge. He spotted Jay and quivered, looking up at the two generals with merciful eyes. "P-Please! Spare me! I-I shan't do you you no harm!"

Skales scowled, leaning close into the Anocondrai, "You have no intent right, to ssssay that. You've ruined my peoples reputation, making ussss look like foolsss!"

Pythor shook with fear.

"Sssso don't think, I'm ever going to conssssider thisss for my people and my friendssss around me...for everything, you...Must...PAY!"

Skales pushed Pythor off the ledge, the Anocondrai screamed until Jay swallowed him whole. The two generals didn't have much time to feel satisfied for Jay was still hungry for more. They made a leap for the exit as Jay began to fire his bolts of lightning, his eyes beginning to glow more fierce and more dangerous. So dangerous that the moment he shot-

Nya gasped at the explosion she spotted just few miles away, right from on top of Bolt. Her eyes shrank in fear in realization, what she saw before her looked to be the Storm Farms. "Oh no," she gasped. She spotted a few snakes making their way out of the remains, she squinted. "What's down there?" she asked herself.

Bolt began to whine, making Nya finally notice the dragon's face. Bolt looked scared, really scared, which worried Nya. She looked again and saw a storm brewing, coming close to the area, now this time, it was her time to fear. "Jay?" she questioned. Bolt began to fly backward, but Nya had other plans. "I have to find the others, I'm sorry, Bolt," she uttered. Bolt whined, but obeyed, he began flying forward.

The others finally made it outside, laying Andrea against a tree as well as themselves to rest. The Hypnobrai warriors awaited their general, seeming suspicious of the heroes. Lily checked Andrea's condition, and it wasn't that good. "She's not doing so well, if I don't get her to a clinic or hospital soon she might not make it," Lily mused. Kai gaped, "B-But I thought we were immortal-"

"We are, but sometimes some of us aren't born that way," Lily explained. The rest didn't know what to do, they already had one ninja in problems, now one was going to die? This was just not their week.

"I'm gonna kill Jay!" Kai started, charging straight for the ruins. Zane held him back, "Kai! Stop acting like a madman! Just because he's the reason for all of us here, right now doesn't mean he's to blame!"

"YES IT IS-"

A large light threw them all back, the snakes hissed and shrieked, beginning to run and slither away.

Skales and Acidicus had barely made it out alive, and were now faced with a massive storm, with Jay right in the middle of it. Skales turned to the ninja, angry,"HOW ARE WE SSSSUPPOSSSSED TO DEAL WITH THAT?!"

"W-We're not the cause of this!" Lily sputtered.

"Well, you might asss well be! Now we all have duesss to pay!" Acidicus quivered.

Kai looked up to see Jay emerge from the storm, his eyes flashed, the fire inside him burning bright. "JAY!" he charged.

Zane gasped, he ran after Kai, "KAI NO!"

Jay spotted the two and roared, lightning bellowed from the sky, projecting straight for them. Cole gasped, Lily shook.

But then a Lightning dragon appeared to save them.

It swooped in and blocked the bolt from ever hitting Zane and Kai, the two ninja were appalled by their savior, and even more surprised when they saw Nya jump on top of it!

"N-Nya-?!" Kai gasped.

The samurai flew straight for Jay, battle-ready, and he could only continue to try and blast her.

The boys couldn't believe their eyes, Nya was alive, and fighting fit!

"Holy cake!" Cole yelled.

"S-Shes...alive?" Kai pondered.

Lily huffed, running beside them, "and she's in need of help! What are you doing standing there?! Cole! Kai! HELP HER!"

The two immediately paid attention and rushed to Nya's aid, taking part in their dragon forms. Zane could only watch with some concern, but through the corner of his eye he noticed the snakes making their getaway. "Hey!" he yelled.

Skales froze, Zane ran after them, "Where are you going? Cant you see that Ninjago is in danger of becoming enveloped in a storm?!"

"We're snakesss, your ninja, we've done enough and we're not here to do your job," one hissed. Zane watched as they slipped into the woods, never to be seen again until next time. He groaned in frustration, not knowing what to do. "Zane!" Lily called. The ice ninja turned his attention to the ghost ninja, who was kneeling over beside her wounded sister. "Can you run fast?" she asked.

Nya was trying her best to keep Jay contained, but the lightning ninja's anger was too great. Nya cursed to herself, begging. Please Jay, you don't have to be angry, I'm here...

She tried again, but this time, Jay had overthrown her, throwing her off of Bolt's back. Bolt shrieked, trying to catch her but was out of reach. Nya yelled, "HELP!"

Suddenly, a blast of fire came from her left, she flinched and so did Bolt. A flash of black and red swooped from beneath her, catching her in midair, she found it to be her brother. She sighed with relief, "Kai you scared me." Kai gave a low roar, glaring up at Jay as he continued to unleash lightning through his cloud. Nya sorrowed, looking on as her love became driven by anger. "We have to help Jay, wheres Cole?" Nya asked.

Her answer soon came when the ninja of earth flew in from her right towards Jay, ramming himself straight into him. Jay roared and scratched Cole with great effort, leaving three marks on his neck, the earth ninja screeched. Nya worried, Kai growled and flew straight upward, Bolt tagging right behind. "Kai, no!" she yelled.

She pulled back, ordering her brother to stop, "We're not hurting him, he doesn't know what he's doing."

Kai snarled, Nya gave him a look, making the fire ninja wince. "We're not hurting him, Kai," she threatened. The red ninja snorted, a bit agitated, but he obeyed nonetheless. Nya hopped onto Bolt and flew after the two boys to try and keep Jay at bay until he came to his senses. We're not giving up Jay...not me she thought. Their efforts as they tried only slowed Jay down, but it didn't quench his rage. Even Cole began to think this was beginning to get pointless. Nya grunt in frustration, starting to get a headache. How do I get myself into these problems? she sighed.

Bolt looked at Jay and growled, shooting out a lightning bolt straight for him. Nya gasped and leaned forward until she saw Jay had been thrown off a bit. She pondered, an idea struck her, but could it work. "Kai! Cole! Blast Jay, but not too hard to land a bruise!" she ordered.

Now it was Kai's time to actually do something he wanted. He made no hesitation, he blasted Jay with everything he had. But it was blocked by Cole who had to slap him hard with his tail to get him to think right. Not to kill him, idiot! he shouted.

Kai growled and hit Jay with a small amount of fire, the lightning ninja roared and lashed out at him. Cole took his turn, hitting Jay, making him turn to the earth ninja. Back and forth the guys shot, weakening Jay. Nya pat Bolt, "You too, buddy. We have to calm him down, so not too hard."

Bolt obeyed, shooting a douse of lightning straight for Jay, which stunned the lightning ninja. "Perfect!" Nya exclaimed.

But that's when Kai shot too soon, Nya gasped, "KAI DON'T!"

Kai gasped and shot without thinking, the fiery blast perfectly aimed. Jay was hit.

Nya froze, Cole flew still, both in shock.

Kai flew backwards slowly, but it was already too late. Jay roared loudly, charging up another shot, one that wouldn't miss.

If it wasn't for Nya, Kai would've had to say goodbye.

She acted quick, jumping off of Bolt, Cole gasped. The samurai landed on Kai, she pushed her away-

and took the impact herself.

A mass light exploded, sending everything forward with great force. Lily gasped and shrieked as she flew backwards. Cole roared, along with Bolt as they were forced to fly off. Even Zane, who was miles from the location, carrying Andrea in his arms, was hit by the force, sending him forward on the ground. His head hit the dirt, and along with Andrea, he fell. Kai passed out onto the ground, along with Nya, who in turn landed on the ground hard.

Jay's eyes finally caught on, noticing Nya and her condition, his eyes widened, making him finally snap out of it. He quickly landed, turning back to his human form, looking like a hot mess. But all that didn't matter, once he laid eyes on the damage he's made. Most importantly, Nya.

He gasped and ran to her, "N-Nya! Nya!"

She didn't respond, her hair a mess, and her suit singed from the shot. Jay gaped and shook his head, "N-No, no! N-Nya no please!" He shook her gently, fearing, on the verge of tears. "N-Nya...Nya please, wake up, wake up p-please! I-I'm sorry!" he begged.

No response.

He covered his mouth, looking at her with shock across his face. Tears had already begun to flow from his eyes, and soon enough, rain joined in to set the mood. Jay cried, lifting his head up to the sky, crying out at the disaster he's made-

"WHY!" _

[and so, episode 2 ends with a despairing cliff-hanger...just kidding! You guys know me, I wouldn't leave my friends hanging, especially with a cliffhanger. No no, the episode may have ended but there's still the epilogue! Don't worry, it wont take two weeks to think over (Sorry about that, by the way...) thank god, because for it I'll try to make it quick, I also apologize for not being on as much. It seems the prophecy was right, Jay's ending wasn't very pleasant at all! Which isn't something to celebrate about. But I really do hope you guys have enjoyed this episode as much as I did, but do not worry! Zane's story is soon to come! For the epilogue will tell all of what's bound to happen in Episode 3, or if that's not enough, Malcolm and Maddie might be able to tell you some sneak-peeks (If I let em', that is -_-). So, without further ado, I thank you guys so much for supporting me on this episode, it really was stressful and hard to make, but I did it! I finally did it whew, and I thank you all for being patient with me as well. So to wrap it up, have a Thoriffic Thursday guys, and thanks so much for reading]
