Tahno gave me a cocky smile in return as he sat down on my couch in the little house.

"Off work already?"'

"Yeah I got early off today. There wasn't much to-"

"What do you say about going back?"

Going back? I looked surprised at him. I had told Tahno very little of what caused me to move to here. He knew little about Mako, but knew enough to try and talk to me about. But I always made it clear that I didn't want to talk about him. Therefore I was very surprised that he said this now.

"We talked about this Tahno" I turned my back to him and began washing the dishes that had been left dirty this morning "I don't want to talk or see Him"

"I am not talking about going back to see that idiot –"

"Please don't call him that" I interrupted. Even though he is an idiot, I didn't like Tahno saying it.

"-I'm talking about going back to see your grandmother." Tahno continued like I said nothing. "We could stay some weeks?"

"I don't know" I just said. I wasn't sure I could go back yet. "When do you even plan on taking on this trip?"

"Today"

"Today?!" I stared at him "We can't just leave today. I've got work, and…." To be honest I didn't have many excuses not to go"

"You haven't had a day of since you started almost six months ago." Tahno reminded me. I liked working, it kept my mind from thinking too much. "And it after all my father you are working for right?"

"Tahno, I-"

"Come on, Korra. I know you miss your grandmother and your home" Tahno moved closer to me and put his arms on my shoulders. I stared into his light eyes.

"Fine.." I gave in.

"Yes!" Tahno gave me a big smile. "I will head home and pack then. We can meet again in an hour and take the ship."

"What about tickets?" I knew there would be no point in complaining anymore.

"Ready to go" He said as he pulled two thin papers out of his pocket. "See you in a hour Korra" He turned around and began to head out.

"You are going to pay for this trip, just so you know!" I yelled after him.

Tahno just wawed back to me as he walked out of my little house.

I turned around, started to look through my stuff until I found my bag. I slowly started filling it with my clothes and dearest possessions, which I couldn't leave behind. I couldn't believe it myself, and it did seem pretty unbelievable; I was really going to go back after six months.

Mako POV

I was bored and inpatient. I just wanted this to be over so I could get down from this very uncomfortable chair, or more like throne. It may be pretty but that was everything it was; I understood why my father had hated sitting here in his time. This also was one of the few times I actually sat on it, because I was yet to be king, and Tenzin took care of the most duties. But here I was sitting, on the king's throne in my fancy clothes and my crown on place in my black hair.

I looked over beside me and looked at the queen's throne standing beside me. Today Princess Sophia was arriving at the castle. We were going to meet for the first time and by next week we would be husband and wife, king and queen.

Tenzin, Pema and their children were all standing on one side and Asami, Bolin and Lin Bai Fong were standing on my other side. Iroh had stubbornly told his sister that he refused to set his feet in the same room as me or see the woman who would take Kor-her place as my wife and queen.

I turned my attention back to the door in the other end of the throneroom as I heard it open. A man stepped in first, but it was hard to see him very clearly in the distance.

"Her highness, Sophia Lyria Tiffany Constance, third Princess of the Northern Kingdom" The man said loudly before he stepped aside to reveal the girl – or young woman standing behind him.

My eyes followed the woman as she walked towards me. She wore a long red dress, and high heels which just tipped out from under the dress as she walked. Her brown hair hang down on her shoulder and a little crown was sitting in the top of it. On her shoulder's she wore a little jacket , made of see-through material. A chain hang around her neck with something that looked like a miniature picture hanging from it. And something that looked like a ring was hanging in the chain beside the picture. Princess Sophia curtsied deeply in front of me.

"Greetings Prince Mako" She said loudly "Thank you for inviting me here"

I got down from the throne and stopped in front of Princess Sophia. I bowed for her as well. Sophia was still curtsying, it seemed like she couldn't get up.

"Greetings to you as well Princess Sophia" I told her. She tried to get up, and I quickly took a grab of her arm to help her stand.

"Thank you" She gave me a little smile "It's hard with this dress"

I just nodded and realized that everyone was starring at us. Tenzin stood together with the man who had introduced Princess Sophia.

"What about we let the young ones alone to talk, while we talk in my office?" I heard him ask the man.

"Do you wish to see the garden, Princess Sophia?" I asked her with a rather forced smile.

"Yes, very much" Sophia said as she put her arm under mine. I led her out of the throne room, the ball room and out of the door. The same door that my brother had locked all that time ago to make my mystery girl talk to me. It felt wrong to now walk through it with another girl. I choose another bench than the one I had chosen that night, but I had a free view to the place we shared our first kiss together. Everything had seemed so much easier back then. I had really thought that I had found my bride, the one I was going to share the rest of my life with. None of us had probably ever thought this would happen.

"Are you feeling fell, Prince Mako?"

Princess Sophia's voice brought me back from my thoughts and memories. I turned to her and looked into her eyes – who looked a little alike and yet so different the ones I loved. The color was still all wrong.

"Yes.. And please don't call me prince all the time. Just call me Mako" I told her.

"I will if you call me Sophie instead of princess" She gave me a little smile back

"Of course, Sophie" I said and tried smiling back, but I didn't think it looked much like a smile.

"Can I ask you something Mako?" She asked me slowly.

"Yes, of course" I just answered.

"Why would you want an arranged marriage?" I stare at her. I would rather not tell her anything about Her. "I mean," She continued "I heard about your engagement to another woman half a year ago, but yet here I am instead of her. I won't force the answer out of you if you don't wish to answer"

Of course she had heard of my engagement.

"I did love her" I said as I stared at a blue rose opposite us. "But I messed up. I told her stuff – Terrible stuff – and she left. I haven't seen her since"

Sophia didn't say anything for a while but I felt her eyes on me.

"You still love her" It wasn't a question, more like a fact.

I just nodded as answer.

"Does it bother you?" I had to ask.

She slowly shook her head

"Not really. This is a arranged marriage. I knew the chance of us falling in love are very small, and I have to tell you that I do not have any romantic feelings for you either. But I hope we can at least be friends?"

That surprised me. I hadn't thought she would be so understanding, but I was happy she was.

"Yeah I hope that too" I gave her something a lot closer to a real smile which she gladly returned.

I noticed again the strange necklace she wore. It really was a little picture of two people dancing, and there really was a ring hanging beside it.

"It is a rather unique necklace you have there" I told her.

Sophia slowly touched the little picture.

"It used to belong to my mother"

"I am sorry for your loss" I knew she had lost her mother only a few years after my own parents died.

She gave me a sad smile.

"And I for yours" She told me. Her fingers were still tracing the little picture. "When my mother died she left everything for us. My two older sisters and brother each got something and I got this. It was the only thing I wanted. It was a gift from my father to my mother." She looked at me "You know the story about Beauty and the Beast?" I nodded "My father weren't very good-looking as you probably know" I did know that as well. Sophia's father was well known for not being good looking "and finding a queen for him was hard for him because people only wanted him for his crown. He saw himself as the beast. My mother on the other hand was well-known for her beauty. She met my father and like in the story she saw his heart and fell in love with him. Father was very happy that he finely found someone he loved and who loved him as well. The married and on their first wedding day he gave her this necklace as a prove of his love." She sighed "But that was before she got sick" Her small fingers found the silver ring. "The ring is her wedding ring as well"

"Sounds… Romantic" I didn't know what really to say. Sophia had shared something personal with me.

Sophia laughed shortly.

"That is one way to say it."

Sorry about the long wait for this chapter, but I have a lot to do right now. School have started again, and I've started on a new school, I think it is something like High School just a Danish version of it. But unfortunately I got in the wrong class so I may have to change school – THAT SUCKS!

But anyway I need your help to choose some clothes I need later on. First I need a blue dress, but I can't tell you want it is for cause that would reveal the plot. But please go to my profile and vote on the dress ;)

Until next time
