After allowing all the Stabler children to meet the baby, Elliot sent them home, knowing they still had school and work in a few hours. Soon after Olivia had fallen asleep, leaving him some time to get a bite to eat before either of his girls woke up.

He walked down the hall towards Olivia's room, drinking the last of his coffee, before tossing the cup into the trash. "Elliot!"

Elliot turned and saw Cragen walking towards him. "Hey Cap," he said, giving a small nod to his captain.

Cragen walked until he was standing in front of Elliot and smiled. He hadn't been able to come sooner because of work but he was more than excited to meet the baby. "How's Olivia?" he asked, hoping childbirth wasn't too hard for his favorite detective.

Elliot smiled. "She's doing great. She's tired but she's great."

"And the baby?"

Elliot pulled his phone out of his pocket and scrolled through it, his smile growing. "She's perfect," he replied, showing Cragen the picture of Charlie on his phone.

Cragen grabbed the phone and gasped. "Precious," he said quietly. He handed Elliot his phone back. He opened his mouth to speak however he was interrupted by one of the nurses that had helped Olivia during birth.

"Mr. Stabler."

Elliot turned to face the nurse,. He raised an eyebrow when he saw the young woman hidden behind a huge bouquet of flowers.. "Someone left these for Olivia but I didn't want to wake her or the baby."

Elliot nodded before taking the flowers from the nurse. "Thank you," he said.

The nurse nodded before she turned on her heel and walked down the hall. "Nice flowers Elliot," Cragen said, admiring the bouquet in Elliot's hands.

Elliot shook his head. "I didn't buy these." He noticed a small note on the top of the flowers. He quickly took the note off of the flowers, before handing them to Cragen. His eyes widened when he read what was on the small piece of paper, anger settling in quickly after. "Throw those away," he said, his hand clenching the note firmly.

"Is it from him?"

Elliot nodded, before turning the note allowing Cragen to read it.

Olivia,

Congrats on the baby! Sorry I couldn't be there. Don't worry I will be soon. I want to see my daughter.

XOXO

Cragen watched as Elliot crumpled up the note and tossed it in the trash can to his left. "I want to know how this bastard knew about the baby."

"I'll have Fin see if he can check the security tapes to see who left these here," Cragen said, walking down the hall. He tossed the flowers into the trash can near the waiting room.

Elliot took a deep breath, held it for a few seconds, and then exhaled loudly. Someone was watching them. Correction: someone was stalking them. He had another baby here now, and he was going to do whatever it took to make sure she stayed safe.

After a few minutes of deep thought, Elliot took another deep breath. He put his right hand in his pocket and froze. He had been so distracted by those flowers, he had totally forgotten why he had left the room in the first place. He needed something to calm his nerves, after all this wasn't how he wanted to do this, but he figured it was as good a time as any. Suddenly he felt nervous.

He took another few deep breaths before walking into Olivia's room. He smiled when he saw her awake, sitting up in bed, holding the baby. She was breastfeeding for the first time, (after the baby had been born Olivia had been too exhausted to do this) and by the looks of things, it was going well. "Hello," he said softly, walking up to the bed. He took a seat on the bed next to Olivia, smiling as he looked down at his daughter.

"Hi," Olivia said, looking up from the baby. "Where have you been?"

Elliot began to gently stroke Charlie's head, his fingers sliding through her thin hair. "Around," he answered. He watched Olivia finish feeding the baby, before she began to gently burp her. There was a small knock on the door. "Come in," Elliot said, before quickly fixing Olivia's hospital gown, covering her up.

The door opened and another nurse walked into the room. "Good morning," she said, a little too cheery for nearly six in the morning. "How did everything go?" she asked, referring to Olivia breastfeeding for the first time.

Olivia smiled. "It went well," she said, continuing to gently pat the baby's back.

The nurse returned Olivia's smile, before going over her charts. "Well good news is you'll most likely be discharged tomorrow morning." She looked up at Olivia, smiling once again when the baby let out a small burp. "You're a natural," she said, writing something on the charts at the end of the bed.

Olivia nodded. "Thank you," she said, before handing the baby to Elliot, knowing he wanted nothing more than to hold his daughter again.

"Well, someone will be back in about another hour to make sure Mommy and baby are doing well," the nurse said, watching as Elliot stood from the bed and began to gently rock Charlie to sleep.

'Thank you," Olivia said. The nurse walked out of the room and gently closed the door. She looked over at Elliot, smiling when she saw him quietly talking to the baby. He was already so in love with her, so the thought of him not being Charlie's biological father broke her heart.

"Cragen stopped by," Elliot said, continuing to rock the baby.

"Oh? Where is he?" Olivia asked, pulling her hair back into a messy bun.

Elliot looked up at her and sighed. "He's taking care of some business," he said. He didn't want to worry her and tell her about the flowers and note. He watched as Olivia nodded, before grabbing her phone and checking a few text messages from Casey and Alex. He turned back to the baby and smiled when he saw her asleep. He quickly walked over to the other side of the bed and put her in the small bassinet provided, before going over to Olivia and sitting next to her. "I love you," he said quietly.

Olivia looked up from her phone, smiled, and responded, "I love you too." She put her phone down on the table near the bed, before looking into Elliot's eyes. "I can't believe she's finally here."

Elliot nodded. "She's perfect," he said, glancing over at the sleeping baby. "I have to talk to you about something."

Olivia froze. Why had his mood changed all of a sudden? Was he rethinking things? Did he not want to be a father to a baby he wasn't sure was his? "Okay," she said quietly.

Elliot grabbed her hand before standing from the bed. "You know I love you. When I first met you I knew there was something different about you, but now, now I know there's something different about you. You're a beautiful woman, inside and out, and I love how sincere you are. I know this is probably not how you imagined everything would be-" Elliot looked up at Olivia. He could tell she was worried that he was going to end everything now.

"I'm sensing a but in there somewhere," Olivia said, trying to lighten the mood. If Elliot was going to walk away or end things now, he needed to either get it done now, or wait until she at least was out of the hospital.

However, he did the complete opposite of what she had been expected. He squeezed her hand, kneeled down, and took the box that had been in his pocket since yesterday, out. "I was going to ask you last night, after you came home from being with Alex and Casey and Maureen. We had this whole thing planned, but you know babies have their own timing." He smiled at Olivia and opened the box, revealing the most beautiful ring Olivia had ever seen. The band was silver, and in the center was a giant diamond. Along each side of the diamond were different shapes, all covered in smaller diamonds, making the ring's design perfectly symmetrical. "Will you marry me?"

Olivia looked up at Elliot, shocked. Never had she thought Elliot would propose to her while she sat in a hospital bed, having just delivered a baby hours before. But then again, Elliot was spontaneous, as was his proposal. She gave him a smile. "Yes," she said simply, watching as his smile grew.

"Yes?" he asked excitedly, standing.

Olivia nodded. "Yes," she repeated. She watched as Elliot quickly took the ring out of box before sliding it onto her finger.

"I love you," he said, grabbing her hand.

Olivia looked up into Elliot's eyes and gave him another smile. "I love you too Elliot," she whispered, before pulling him in for a kiss. After everything that had happened, she was finally going to have her happy ending. When she pulled away, she looked down at the ring on her finger, admiring it. "You did good," she said with a chuckle.

Elliot raised her hand so he could inspect the ring. "Good," he said, gently kissing her knuckles, before taking a seat on the bed next to her, his hand never leaving hers.

McKinley sat in a cramped office, surrounded by dozens of security footage he had swiped from the hospital. He knew it was only a matter of time before Cragen went looking for the security footage; he smiled knowing they would find the disks missing.

He cursed loudly, before ejecting the CD he had been watching. He was getting nowhere with these, and if he was going to keep his job, he needed to make sure he got something good. He quickly popped another disk full of footage into his computer and continued to watch the small monitor. Taking notice of the time, he let out a groan, before speeding up the footage playback. He was about nearly ready to give up when something caught the corner of his eye.

He quickly stopped the tape, set it back a few seconds, and replayed it. A grin was plastered on his face as he watched the man on the screen walk towards the front desk, in his hands a giant bouquet of flowers. He then watched as the man quickly said something to the nurse, before walking away. The nurse grabbed the bouquet and walked down the hall, trying to catch up with Elliot. He quickly pressed a few buttons on the software running on his computer, and waited a few minutes. He was nearly done with everything when there was a knock on the door.

McKinley instinctively looked up at the door, his eyes wide. He only needed a few more seconds. "Hey, McKinley, you in there?"

Damnit Porter, he thought. Always ruining things. "Yeah," he replied. He looked up at the computer and smiled, knowing his task was complete.

"What are you doing?" Porter asked, confused. His partner was never in this office.

McKinley shrugged. "I was looking over old footage of those flower shops from a few months ago. Thought I could catch something Stabler missed."

Porter raised an eyebrow. "You find anything?"

McKinley shook his head. "Need something?"

Porter continued to stare at McKinley. He was acting odd, which did not sit well with him. "No, just wanted to know where you were," he said, before leaving the room.

McKinley continued to stare at the spot Porter stood. How dare he, he thought. He thinks he's so much better than me. McKinley quickly shook his thoughts out of his head, before returning to the computer. He quickly sent an email containing the copied security footage and the caption "Baby born, Hospital flowers". With that he took the disk out of the computer.

He waited a few seconds, listening for any sign that Porter was heading back his way. When he heard nothing he quickly bent the disk until it snapped in half. He quickly snapped both halves in half until he had four pieces of what used to be a CD containing footage from the hospital. He threw them away, before turning off his computer and leaving the room, a smile on his face. No one would know what he had done, and he was going to do whatever it took to make it stay that way.
