She tightened her grip on his neck. The man let out a gurgling sound as she squeezed her hand.

'Felicity!' Oliver yelled. She could hear him running up behind her. By the sound of his boots, she could tell he was still in his gear. 'Please Stop.'

'Stay out of this!' She yelled back.

'Please..' The man coughed out. 'Help m-' He was cut off as her hand tightened on his throat.

'Felicity, let him go. Now.' He said. She stared at the man in front of her.

'You can't save him.' She said.

'I'm not trying to save him Felicity.' He said quietly.

'I can't be saved either.' She whispered back.

One Week Earlier

'Come on Oliver, straighten you back.' Felicity said as she threw a punch at him. He caught her fist but she turned and swiped her legs under his tripping him and stepped back. He got back up and into a fighting stance and threw punch at her. She caught his fist and hoisted herself up, wrapping her legs around his neck and throwing him to the ground again.

'Okay, okay, I need a drink of water.' Oliver said coughing as he got up.

'Damn..' Roy said in awe. 'I mean, I see it..but-'

'Hard to believe right?' Digg said and Roy nodded.

'I mean you can't even place a bet on whom will pin whom, you know it'll be Felicity.' Roy said.

'You know I can hear you.' Oliver said annoyed.

'Don't be grumpy just cause they are admiring my handy work.' Felicity said playfully, she turned around to grab a water as well when Oliver approached Roy and Dig.

'I wanna finally take her down, I will distract her while fighting her, each of you can slowly go to one side of her and then when I nod, we can all attack her at once.'

'I dunno man..Felicity took on you and Sara.' Digg said

'Yeah but now we have three, and she won't be expecting it.'

'I think it could be cool.' Roy said and they all agreed, Oliver walked back to the training mats and Felicity joined him.

'Alright, come at me.' Felicity said, Oliver threw a punch and she dodge it, and spun around him, elbowing him in the back. When he turned around to her, she put her hands on his shoulders and jumped up, wrapping her legs around his neck again and threw him to the ground. As she did this Roy slowly moved to the left of Felicity off to the side of the training mats. Oliver stood and Felicity grabbed his hand and spun around, placing her knee under his and used her body weight to throw him over her shoulder. Digg slowly mad his around to the back of Felicity and Oliver saw and he nodded to Digg.

Digg came up from behind and grabbed her, she elbowed him in the chest and put her foot behind his, an turned, tripping him, Oliver approached her and she threw a punch, her caught it it and spun her into his chest. She crouched down from him and grabbed under his knee and lifted up, throwing him to the ground, Digg got up and threw a kick, She grabbed his foot and shoved him back. Oliver looked to Roy and nodded to him, Roy came up behind Felicity and put his leg under Felicity's knee and tripped her. She turned as she fell and wrapped her legs around his chest and threw him over her as she fell.

She got up and Oliver grabbed her from behind and lifted her up and Digg approached her from the front and she pushed him back with her feet and kicked her foot straight back to kick Oliver and he dropped her. All three stood up as Felicity did and surrounded her. She crouched low and spun around with her foot outstretched out and knocked all three down in one move.

'Are you guys done?' She panted and Roy nodded.

'I'm out.' Roy said and groaned as he got up.

'I told you it wouldn't work.' Digg said as he stood up and rubbed his chest, walking off the training mat.

'I will give you credit for being able to surprise me like that. It was a nice change of events to have a moderate fight for once.'

'Moderate?' Oliver said in disbelief. 'That was not moderate.'

'I once had to fight a number of men, with my hands tied behind my back, while I was blindfolded. I could only use my legs.'

'Holy hell.' Roy said and held up his hands and walked away. 'I'm done.' He said and Digg just chuckled. Oliver stood up and walked over to Felicity and kissed her, she melted into him and he spun her around and tripped her but she grabbed his hand and spun her and him around and flipped over him onto her feet.

'Nice try Oliver.' She said walked away laughing.

A little while later, Felicity was changed out of her training clothes back into a jeans and t-shirt, sitting back at her computer looking at one of the screens.

'What is it?' Oliver asked as he came over and kissed the top of her head.

'Nothing, just this guy who popped up in the news lately.' She said. 'Something is off about him...Probably nothing.' She said and got up. 'Ready to go?' Oliver nodded. Felicity was heading up the stairs, Oliver behind.

Felicity was in her room at Archive writing in a journal. After she had her failure on the mission involving their target 'the doctor' she had been waking up in the middle of the night with nightmares. One particular bad night had her waking up mid scream, with Jim banging on her door yelling if she was alright. After that night, she told Tori about her nightmares. Tori suggested that she started a journal to write down her nightmares as a was of therapy to help her. Ever since then she still had nightmares, but as soon as she woke up she wrote them down.

She heard a soft knock on her door

'It's open.' She said quietly and Jim entered.

'I saw the light in your room was on.' Jim said as he opened the door.

'I lied, my door is locked.' Felicity said not even bothering to look at him.

'Felicity.'

'Don't Felicity me.' She said and stopped writing.

'You have to talk to me more sooner or later.'

'Why? Why should I, so you can just give me the riot act, then proceed to blame me?' She snapped back.

'I'm sorry.' Jim said.

'Me too.' Felicity said with a hint of sadness in her voice. 'Now get out.' She said. Jim sighed and turned and left.

'See?' Tori said as Jedidiah closed the laptop with the video footage on it. 'I told you she would resent Jim more than you.'

'I see..' Jedidiah said slowly.

'You still doubt her?'

'She is a smart girl Tori..intellectual..she puts two and two together. I want you to administer the test to her. But..test Jim as well...I want to see where his loyalty lies as well.' Tori nodded and left the room.

She was running, fast, panting. She turned the corner and looked behind her. When she turned back around she ran right into solid body. The man gave her a sly grin. He grabbed her and pushed her back, into the wall behind her as he pulled a flare out from behind him.

'Wanna know why they call me the doctor? Because my trademark is to cauterize the wound I make.' He said and put the fire from the flare on her hip.

Felicity bolted upright in bed, breathing heavily. She looked all around her as she calmed her breathing, realizing it was just a dream. She placed her hand on her hip where the man from her dreams burned her. She closed her eyes and leaned forward, running her hands through her hair. She looked over at Oliver as he slept. Thankful she hadn't woken him. She quietly slipped out of the bed, grabbing her phone and slipped out of the room. She went down the stairs into the main lobby and dialed.

'Hello?' The woman said sleepily.

'Lilly. It's Felicity. Can you meet me?'

'Felicity?' Lilly grumbled and Felicity heard rustling. 'Now? It's 2:45.'

'I know I'm sorry. But it's important.'

'Alright. Fine.'

'Thanks. Under the old bridge, by Tillinghast Road. 20 Minutes.' Felicity said and hung up.

20 Minutes later Felicity was standing under a old stone bridge. It was raining out, she watched the wall of water, and the tiny droplets that seeped through the bridge, dropping all around her. She heard a car behind her and turned out as Lilly got out of the car.

'Thanks for meeting me Lilly. Especially at this hour.' Felicity said.

'Don't let my grumpiness sway you. It's always nice to hear from you Felicity.' Lilly said. 'So, what is this about?'

'I think Alex Sampson is still alive.' Felicity said.

'That's impossible, that agent killed him.'

'Did he? All I remember is a shot going off. I blacked out after. I was never told whether he was alive or dead. I wouldn't put it past Jedidiah to pull something like this. He has before.'

'That doesn't make any sense. Why would Jedidiah save him? He had no use to him. He targeted him.' She said and looked at Felicity. 'What aren't you telling me?' Lilly said and Felicity looked at the ground.

'Jedidiah didn't target him on a vendetta..'

'I'm confused.'

'The Russians wanted him.' Felicity said. 'For Uranium that was stashed away. During World War 2, it was no secret the Germans were working on the atomic bomb before their main scientist defected to the U.S.'

'Yeah, and they supposedly stashed the Uranium. Supposedly Felicity.'

'Apparently he knew where it was. Jedidiah said to kill him, that it was better off no one found the Uranium, especially the Russians. But I find it hard to believe that Jedidah would just let unclaimed Uranium sit around. Listen, I just. I called you hear because I need you to look up information on this man. His name is Benedict Jovian. I need everything on him.' Felicity said and got back in her car and drove away before Lilly could say anything else.

Felicity sat at her computers in the foundry, staring at the screen of the article she found about Jovian. She heard Oliver and Roy sparing behind her on the mats. He phone rang and she jumped, which caught the attention of all three men.

'I should take this.' Felicity said and went up the stairs for privacy.

'When is it for Felicity to jump?' Dig asked. 'Somethings up.' He said and turned to the other men.

'Lilly?' Felicity answered.

'Yes. And thanks for the abrupt leaving. Anyways here is what I found out about Jovian. He was born and raised in Iowa. Graduated top of his class from Buena Vista University and has a PhD in Physics. He seems like a stand up guy-'

'Lilly I know it's him.'

'You didn't let me finish. That's just the surface. I dug a little deeper, his identity is good, High school. Social. Bank Records are spotless. He is squeaky clean. To an outsider. I used some of my contacts. His identity was created about 10 years ago.'

'That's a year after my mission.'

'Yeah. But it gets better. You were right. His identity, bank accounts, credit cards, are all linked it to a shell company in the Cayman Islands. The company's name is Massive Corporate Inc. It also says that he paid for plastic surgery. This could easily be Sampson. However there is no proof linking Jovian to Sampson. Listen, i emailed everything i have to you.'

'Thanks Lilly.' She said and hung. Heading back down stairs. As she walked down she noticed all three of the guys gathering around her computers, waiting for her.

'Felicity, we wanted to talk to you. You've been off lately.' Oliver said.

'I know. You guys should take a seat. Give me a few minutes, i need to get some stuff.'

Ten minutes later they were all sitting around a table they had set up. Felicity put a file on the desk and opened it up, pulling out a picture. She laid it out and turned it around to everyone.

'This is Alex Sampson. He was a man I was assigned to..eliminate.' She said. 'It went sideways. You could say, I wasn't the actual one to..kill him. It was someone else. Or so I thought. I blacked out momentarily after, and no one ever confirmed it. Or denied it.' She said and opened the second file, pulling out another picture and placing it next to the first. 'This is Benedict Jovian.'

'I don't understand.' Roy said.

'I don't think Sampson ever really died. I was tasked with killing him because he had whereabouts to some...items. It was easier to kill him then let anyone get said items. My boss Jedidiah, he wouldn't just let it sit there, unclaimed. He would've wanted it.'

'What was it?' Roy asked. Felicity swallowed.

'Uranium. Enriched Uranium. Lots of it.'

'How do you know these people are the same person. Or that you boss would've kept him alive and taken the Uranium.' Dig asked.

'Jovian was Sampson's mother's maiden name. Benedict was his father's name. He looks like him. Also Jovian's identity is an alias, a good one, but fake. It traces back to a account in the Cayman Islands, everything of his is funded by a shell company called Massive Corporate Inc. This company was a company set up by Archive for when private affairs needed to be handled.'

'Like?'

'Bribes, payouts, funds, money laundering. You name it.' She said.

'Nothing actually links Sampson and Jovian. The only thing liking them possibly is the account, but we can't access the records.' Oliver said.

'Can't you just hack into the Felicity?' Roy asked.

'Hack? Hack into the Cayman Islands. Hacking into the pentagon would probably be easier.' Felicity said and pinched her nose. 'Listen guys, I've been up close to Sampson before, I know..I know this is him.'

'We don't know if Jedidiah kept him alive Felicity. We can't ask him either. This is Uranium we are talking about. How can you be sure?' John said.

'John...the things I did for him...I wouldn't put it past him to do this.'

'What did you do?' Roy asked quietly.

'Don't ask me that Roy.' Felicity said with tears in her eyes. 'If you ask me again I will tell you.' She said and he nodded. 'Look I need you guys to trust me on this. This is Sampson.'

'Alright.' Oliver said. 'We will start surveillance on him.'

Over the next couple of days, Oliver and Roy tailed him a few times as Felicity searched and searched through everything related to Jovian and Sampson when she got another call from Lilly.

'I found it!' Lilly said as soon as Felicity picked up. 'I found the connection that can prove Jovian and Sampson are the same person.' Felicity stood up and quietly slipped away from John to continue talking.

'How? What is it?'

'A safety deposit box. It's in this small town in the middle of nowhere in Arizona called Ash Fork. It was where his mother's mother lived. The bank was built by his grandfather in the late 1800's. So he basically gets the box for free, but he had to make a small payment just to secure it to make it legitimate. He's where it connects. It was bought 15 years ago, using the accounts owned by Sampson. It gets better. He moved funds out of the Cayman account to give them a hand for their service. He closed it out a few days ago, right before he showed up in Starling. He bundled the transfer with a plane ticket and hotel with Starling to make it untraceable. Or so he thought. Sampson and Jovian are the same person Felicity. You were right.'

'Thanks so much Lilly. I owe you.'

'Felicity before you hang up. I have to ask you something.'

'What?'

'I know what he did to you.' She said. That night where he stabbed her flashed her mind. 'Will you kill him?'

'Thanks for the help Lilly.' Felicity said and hung up and headed back downstairs. She put the comm back in her ear. 'Oliver. Roy. Listen, Sampson and Jovian are the same person. I just got information proving it. I'm suiting up, meet me on the roof of his hotel.' She said and silenced her comm before they could ask her something.

'Felicity?' John asked. 'How? Who was that? Don't think I didn't notice you leaving.'

'You know why reports don't reveal their sources John? Because it can backfire, put the source in danger. I burned a lot of bridges in the last few years John. What little contacts I still have, I intend to keep.' She said and left to go changed.

She was on the roof for a few minutes when Oliver and Roy finally got there.

'Ready?' She asked.

'What are you going to do?' Oliver asked.

'Just have a little chat.' She said and started to walk by him, but he grabbed her arm.

'Felicity. I know this has more meaning behind this. I'll ask you again, what are you going to do?' She just looked at him and took her arm away from him.

'You don't wanna come. You don't have to. I don't care what you decide, but don't ever use that voice on me again.' She said and went inside the building, heading to his room. She heard Oliver tell something to Roy, but she couldn't hear what before he came inside, following her. She quietly made it down to his floor, and was halfway down the corridor when Jovian emerged from his room, looking panicked. He looked at her and started to run away towards the elevators. She bolted after him, she heard Oliver follow behind her. She didn't expect him to grab her just before she got to Jovian, letting him get away.

Roy was already back at the foundry, with John when Felicity got back before Oliver. She marched down the stairs and got up in Roy's face.

'Did you warn him? Jovian that I was coming.' She yelled at him and heard Oliver coming down the stairs.

'I told him to.' Oliver yelled and she turned around, he glare on him. Both Roy and Dig choosing that moment to leave.

'Why?'

'You were going to kill him instead of turning him in Felicity. I could see it in your eyes.' Oliver said, his voice raising.

'But now, neither will happen because he is spooked. He will go under ground again.'

'Felicity-'

'No. I told you once before. Not killing is your vow. Not mine.'

'You don't want that blood on your hands Felicity.'

'How do you know? Do you even know what he did Oliver? That mad took a flare to my hip. Before me, he did it to many other people. He wasn't a saint. He was willing to sell Uranium to people, Oliver. He wasn't a good person.'

'So that means he deserves to die?'

'YES!' She yelled. She closed her eyes and sighed. 'Oliver I am done.'

'Done with what?' Oliver asked quietly, afraid of the answer.

'I am done with you not understanding.' She said and looked down at her ring. 'I know what you are doing Oliver. You are trying to save me, save my soul. But I am beyond saving. I have been waiting and waiting for you to understand that. To accept that. But every time I feel like we are close. You prove me wrong. There is only so many times we can fight, only so many times I will forgive you. Only so many times I push aside the fact that you can't or won't see me for who I really am. What I really am.' She said. 'But, the truth is, I don't know what to believe. Whether you can't seem to grasp the fact the fact that I am a killer I always will be one. Or the fact that you always will be one too. Oliver people change. You are perfect proof of that, you went from playboy to hero. Although once a person changes, they don't change again, you took a vow to stop killing because of Tommy. No matter what you tell yourself though you took lives, you will always be a killer.' She said and took her ring off, placing it on the table. 'You need to decide whether it's the fact that you can't accept who I am, or whether you are just reflecting your own personal turmoil.' She finished and walked out.

Hours later she chased Jovian down the halls of the empty warehouse where he was stashed before she finially caught up with him. She slid down onto her left side and kicked his feet out from under him and stood up, grabbing him throwing him against the wall, placing her hand on his throat.

'Do you remember me? Do you remember what you did to me?' She said and she tightened her grip on his neck. The man let out a gurgling sound as she squeezed her hand.

'Felicity!' Oliver yelled. She could hear him running up behind her. By the sound of his boots, she could tell he was in his gear.

'I know. And neither can I. Our souls are so gone, the body count shouldn't matter anymore. But to me it does. Both mine and yours. It shouldn't matter whether we see ourselves or each other as killers. Felicity, it matters if we have the strength whether or not to take a life. It's easy to kill, especially when you've done it for so long. But sparing a life, that takes true strength to put aside every voice in our head. But you were right I was reflecting my turmoil on you.'

'I told you Olivier. I can only forgive you so many times.'

'I know.' He said and she heard him nock and arrow. She looked to see it pointed at Jovian, he released it but she caught it before it punctured him.

'Don't risk what's left of your soul for mine.' She said and jammed the arrow into his chest.

'I never asked you to become a killer again. I asked you to decide who you where truly judging, myself or yourself.'

'I'm...i'm confused.' He said and she turned around.

'Oliver like I said you will always be a killer because you did take lives. You aren't a killer now, but you were. That is what you were having turmoil about. Once you stop killing, your conscious kicks in, letting you know about the blood you have on your hands. Believe me I've experienced it before. Once you're honest with your own self, it makes everything a lot easier. Oliver, if you intend to marry me, you need to decide now. You are on the road to redemption, I am not. Are you willing to accept that? I will not ask you again. If you lie to me, or i find you trying to save me again I will leave. Oliver I swear to god I will leave.' She said.

'Yes.' He answered.

Yay! Soooo, the story is wrapping up soon ( I promise.) Next chapter is the wedding :)

Review is love!
