It had been years since TK set foot on the soil of the old campsite. Not much had changed. The cabins were still up, the trees were still in one piece, and the canoes looked just as shoddy. TK stepped towards the wooden dock by the lake ahead of the other volunteers and heard the same creaks he did when he was eight.

"Nothing like the old campsite," TK smiled.

Kazu walked on the same dock, but took a wrong step and his right foot ended up plowing right through two panels. "Uh … was your campsite ALWAYS this lovely?"

TK sweatdropped. "I guess not much has changed here."

Joe joined everybody on the dock, holding a stationary Gomamon. "Ok, volunteers! We're going to be joined here very soon by a number of young campers, so put on your best smiles!"

Everyone briefly hesitated before putting on wide grins. TK felt like his face would freeze like that if he wasn't careful, but if it would please the kids, that was all that mattered.

"My face hurts," Kenta said through his grin.

"Rika, I don't think you're smile is big enough," Ryo cracked, nudging the fellow Tamer in her side.

"I promise, after these kids get here, I'm gonna make sure to smack that stupid smile right off your face!"

"Ok, what does our schedule look like, Izzy?" Joe asked.

Izzy put Tentomon down and looked through his clipboards. "The busses with all the campers should arrive at 5 o'clock sharp."

Joe turned around and started leading everyone towards the entranceway. "Alright, everybody! Let's go meet the campers!"

Koichi leaned over to Kazu's ear. "You didn't actually go through with taking Guardromon apart again, did you?"

"Koichi, I can't believe you would ask such a dumb question. Leave those for Kenta to ask, man," Kazu replied back.

"Hey!" Kenta remarked, having overheard him.

"Of course I took Guardromon apart!" Kazu continued, "I wasn't about to leave him at the dorms over the weekend. All it took was a little bit of extra effort."

Everyone followed Joe's lead. TK looked behind his back to see that Catherine was staying close, thus setting the tone for what could turn out to be a very awkward weekend.

After camping out for the night, Davis woke up that morning and saw his target right in front of him. He saw the sorority house that belonged to Delta Gamma. He made sure to deck himself out in a black burglar's ensemble. He was wearing nothing but black for this task, with the ever-recognizable pair of goggles that he donned on his head.

He didn't head in right away. To venture in there in broad daylight would be total madness. Davis knew the time to go in would be at night.

So he remained at his post until the sun began to set. Once he saw the sun fading into a dark orange, he knew it would be time to rush in. So he stepped out of the bushes and took a deep breath.

He took one step forward and realized he was about to take a big step into the final frontier. He had never been a part of a panty raid before, but here he was, about to enter a sorority house in hopes of coming out with every single pair of panties inside. And he would do it all on behalf of his fraternity of Alpha Zeta. Once he was done, Davis would be a brother.

Taking another deep breath, Davis headed forward into what would be his final initiation ritual.

Takato checked his watch. "It sure took you long enough, Davis."

Takato waited in another set of bushes, waiting for Davis to make whatever move he was going to make. He wasn't familiar with how panty raids were done, so he decided to just snoop around behind Davis and wait for all the fireworks to ignite. Davis searching a sorority house for panties just sounded like a total recipe for disaster and wackiness. And Takato wanted to be there to draw every detail. If Takato caught every piece of the action, he knew Goggle Man would be an even bigger hit than it already was.

Davis was already moving towards the Delta Gamma house, so Takato crept through the bushes right alongside him. Davis stopped for a moment, so Takato froze. The DigiDestined gogglehead turned around. Takato managed to freeze just in time for the bushes to remain motionless. Davis shrugged and kept on walking. Safely able to move forward again, Takato kept treading closely behind Davis.

Davis stopped at the front door and decided that a direct entrance likely wasn't a good idea. So Davis reached into a backpack and pulled out a grappling hook. He aimed for the sorority house's chimney. He tossed the grappling hook in the air until he hooked one of the gutters. He started climbing the rope, but ran into a problem as he scaled the wall. The gutter gave way and Davis began to slowly fall backwards until he landed on his back. Takato snickered as he drew the details of this latest little mishap of Davis's.

Davis quickly regrouped and grabbed his grappling hook again. He decided to hook it onto something a bit sturdier than the rain gutters. He aimed for the chimney itself. He tossed the grappling hook and it grasped onto the brick chimney. Davis began his ascent onto the Delta Gamma house's roof. That's when Takato saw the inherent problem this presented.

There was no way Takato could follow Davis up the roof and, assumedly, down the chimney. He would have to find another way inside. The goggled Tamer then got another idea. He would go in through a window and find Davis from there.

Not wasting anymore time, Takato rushed through the bushes to find the nearest window he could climb through. He saw all of them were locked, but there was one that was slightly ajar. Takato squeezed his fingers in as tightly as he could. He slowly pushed the window open and began to climb in.

Davis knew he was on easy street now. This wasn't the first time he climbed onto a roof and fell in through a chimney. This would be a piece of cake for him.

He gathered up his grappling hook and lowered the line slowly inside the chimney. He began carefully climbing down, but there was something he hadn't noticed. The hook had come loose and was wobbling frantically. The hook finally came loose and Davis found himself falling.

"AAH! OOF!"

Davis fell on his backside once again. But he knew he was in for it. If there was anybody inside the house, he knew somebody would soon be on his tail. So he took a dive into a nearby closet and hid there. Nobody came into the room, meaning it was safe to go on, but before continuing, Davis checked the closet for any sign of what he was looking for.

After exiting the closet, Davis made his way to the sorority house's bathroom. He walked in and searched for what he sought in there, but that's when he began to hear footsteps. Davis scrambled to find a hiding place, but found himself stuck. He finally settled when he saw an extra shower curtain on the ground. He dove underneath it and covered himself. He heard somebody come in.

Davis peeked out from underneath the shower curtain in time to see a pair of bare feet belonging to a young lady in front of him. Then he saw a towel fall to her feet. The girl stepped into the shower and the water started running. He couldn't just wait there as this girl showered. Davis knew he had to get out of there. As he poked his head out, he saw a pair of panties, which would be his first. He grabbed them and stuffed them in his backpack. He tiptoed towards the door while the girl remained behind the shower curtain, unaware of Davis's presence. Davis reached the door and slowly opened it, but it opened with a loud creak … getting the attention of the girl in the shower.

"Leezel, is that you?" the girl asked. She stuck her head out and saw Davis. "AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHH!"

Davis followed suit. "AAAAAHHHHHHH!"

That's when Davis realized that screaming would not solve anything, so he did the only thing he could do.

He ran to safety.

Kari was having the time of her life.

The Delta Gamma sorority was so welcoming to her, and she got to meet a lot of other girls that were already members, too.

"What do you guys think about when you look up there?" Kari asked to the group of girls as they headed inside the house.

Everyone was looking up at the ceiling, but Kari didn't mean the ceiling. She meant the skies. It was a starry night and the girls were just getting in from the backyard of the Delta Gamma house. Although it was only eight o'clock, the girls were all already in their pajamas. A number of them were doing each others' hair, others were painting their nails, a couple were looking out the window, gazing out at the night sky.

"I thank my lucky stars there aren't any men here right now," Leezel joked.

"I feel the same way," Kari chuckled.

"So, Kari … don't think I haven't forgotten. You still didn't answer the question," Leezel pointed out with a smirk.

Kari cringed playfully, "What question?"

She knew exactly what question Leezel was talking about, she just decided to play dumb.

Leezel was on her like white on rice, though. "Don't gimme that! You know what question I mean. Do you have a special guy occupying your time?"

Just the mere thought of Davis gave Kari's stomachs butterflies. The good kind of butterflies, though. The ones TK used to give her when he came around and they were together …

Shaking the thought of TK out of her head, Kari continued grinning giddily. "There might be … this one guy."

"Ooh, do tell! Is he your boyfriend? Or has he just been wining and dining you, TRYING to be your boyfriend? I want all exclusive details!"

Kari smirked. "Oh, gosh. We could be here all night."

"We ARE gonna be here all night," Leezel said cheekily.

Giggling, Kari said, "Well… I guess you can say he's a little bit of both."

"A little bit of both what?"

"He's kind of… my boyfriend. But, we're still-"

The door suddenly opened before Kari could even finish. She saw another one of the girls in the sorority, a girl named Meiko that Kari had just met the same night. Meiko was extremely friendly and warm, the two of the hitting it off almost instantly. She didn't look very friendly and warm at this very moment, however.

She was soaking wet and wearing nothing but a towel. She had literally just come out of the shower.

"Leezel! There's a guy in here! He tried to look at me in the shower and he took my underwear!"

The girls all gasped. They all looked at each other and started to panic. Leezel got to her feet and stood up on top of one of the beds.

"Girls, settle down! Now it appears we have a situation here. If there really is a man here, then … um … Meiko? Did you say he took your UNDERWEAR?"

"That's what I said."

"Ok, girls. It appears we have a PERVERT in this house … who is … uh … looking for our underwear."

The girls kept murmuring amongst themselves and panicking. Some of the girls were reaching for their bags and making sure their underwear was still safely in their possession. But for many of the other girls, their bags were in another room and they were noticeably nervous. Kari, herself, became a tad nervous but for a COMPLETELY different reason. The good butterflies she had thinking of Davis turned into nervous ones at the mention of a pervert taking underwear. She quickly shrugged that thought off, though.

Leezel put both of her fingers in her mouth and whistled, getting all the girls in the room attention. "Ok, you girls are panicking over nothing!"

"Nothing?" Meiko repeated. "There's a creep going around grabbing and stealing our underwear! You're saying that's NOTHING?!"

Leezel chuckled. "Ladies … sisters … we aren't defenseless. If anything, that PERVERT should be more scared of us. We are a unit. We are a team. We are one." She started walking towards the door, but turned to look back at Kari and the other girls before exiting. "My English professor gave me a great quote that we should ALL live by. In fact, I was thinking of seeing if we can get it incorporated in the sorority bylaws and guidelines."

"A quote?" Another girl in the sorority, Danielle, echoed Leezel.

Nodding, Leezel grinned a devilish grin. "'At this point, none of us are sure why we fight. We're sisters. We need no good reason to fight, even though we have plenty of them'."

It seemed like the girls were starting to understand what Leezel was hinting at. The butterflies in Kari's stomach were swarming up and down.

"So who's with me?!" Leezel shouted, a few of the girls in the room whooping in agreeance. "Are we gonna run this PERVERT out of OUR house, or what?!"

Soon, every girl in the room was shouting with her, as if readying themselves for war. Kari found herself joining in, too, albeit the nervous feeling in the pit of her stomach making her feel a bit uneasy.

"Well, let's go!"

The girls marched out one-by-one, two-by-two, grabbing whatever they can to arm themselves with.

TK looked on as the young campers worked on their crafts. They were making straw baskets. He made like a good volunteer and oversaw the whole thing. The cabin was so crowded, he didn't notice the other counselors there, but he was surprised when he ran into a certain young lady. She looked familiar, so TK tapped her on the shoulder.

"Rosa?"

Rosa turned around and smiled. "Hola, TK! I didn't expect to see you here."

"I didn't expect to see YOU here. What are you doing here?"

"Some of us at different high schools are helping out for the weekend. It's a bunch of different high schools participating, but I don't think it's a lot of us from our school. You'd be surprised how unconcerned high school people are."

"Anybody else from the high school here?"

Rosa pointed behind TK. TK turned around and recognized the back of this certain boy's head.

"Cody!"

Cody turned around. "TK! What are you doing here?"

"I'm volunteering for the weekend. I didn't expect to see you and Rosa here."

"I didn't expect it to only be three of us from our high school here. Luckily, more high school kids from other schools are helping, too," Cody sighed.

TK was thinking about something. "You two are one of the only two volunteers here? You know… I have noticed you two have been getting closer lately. You always come to the university together. If I didn't know any better, I'd say you two… have a thing for each other."

Cody and Rosa stayed silent … giving TK a death glare.

"YOU'RE CRAZY!"

ESTAS LOCO!"

TK flinched and sweatdropped. "Ok… I know when I'm way off. You know, some of us are roasting marshmallows later. Feel free to join us."

Cody nodded. "Sounds good. I'll be there … and maybe Rosa will follow me. Who knows?"

TK started moving towards another table, but Rosa made sure to hold his arm.

"Uh… TK… you know, speaking of … uh … having a thing for someone… have you seen Ken around lately?"

Somehow, TK knew she would ask him that. He knew this was none of his business, but it was pretty obvious that Ken wasn't about to say anything himself. TK began to feel maybe it was best if he got involved.

"Uh… yeah… last I checked, he and Yolei were having a night out."

Rosa frowned. "Really? But … last time I heard, they were having a huge fight. I was starting to think Ken had finally left her for me."

TK didn't know what to say from there. But he knew he had to say something and hopefully put an end to everything. Ken and Yolei would thank him for it later.

"Rosa … those two are really … well … they're in love with each other. And I don't think Ken's looking for anybody else."

"How would you know?" Rosa huffed.

"Because I've seen it for myself. Rosa, maybe you should just quit while you're ahead. Believe me, you don't stand a chance with Ken."

TK was ready to kick himself. He worded that rather harshly and wished he could have put it gentler. He was feeling even worse when he saw Rosa defiantly turn her back on him, but not before TK noticed a tear rolling down her cheek. He had unintentionally hurt her feelings.

Rosa got up. "Con permiso…"

TK sighed. "Rosa, wait…"

Cody grabbed TK's arm and shook his head. "TK, what were you thinking? You don't know how Rosa is at the high school. It doesn't take much to make her lose her temper … and believe me, it'll be lost when she comes back."

TK didn't like the sound of that. "That's all I need: MORE woman problems."

There was a tapping on the door. TK looked over and saw Catherine was standing by the window and waving him over. It looked like there wouldn't be much more delay.

"Speak of the devil," TK groaned. "Excuse me, Cody."

Not wasting another moment, TK walked towards the door and decided to just get everything over with. He saw Catherine duck out as soon as TK walked out the door. She must have wanted him to follow her. So he tried to keep pace as she scurried away from the cabin.

Perhaps it was for the best. This was better off as a private conversation.

"You guys have GOT to be kidding me," Rika griped, her ever present scowl on her face getting deeper.

So far, this camping trip was nothing what she expected it to be. The fact that Ryo decided to come grinded her gears to the max. And, of course, Kazu and Kenta gawked over him as if it was the first time they met him all over again.

It was one of the many things that bugged Rika about Ryo, no matter how much he claimed he couldn't help it.

"Hey, can you blame us? You didn't even mention that Ryo was gonna be coming," Kazu said to Rika as he continued to set up a tent with Kenta and Ryo.

"That's because I didn't invite him. Zoë did," Rika said with as much malice as she could, shooting her frown Zoë's way.

Zoë couldn't help but giggle at her friend. Rika didn't find anything the least bit funny, however. "Don't laugh. It's not funny. I should really chop you up into tiny pieces, Miss Italy."

"Oh, Rika, c'mon! Admit it, you're happy he's here," Zoë said lightly, giving Rika a cheeky grin.

Rika blushed, shoving Zoë playfully. "Yeah, right! He's one of the people that gets under my skin the most. Why in the world would I be happy?!"

"You need to stop denying it," Zoë simply replied.

Rika made a confused face, her eyebrows scrunching. "Denying what?"

"The fact that you like him. I know you do."

That earned Zoë an even harder shove from Rika. So hard that she almost demolished the tent she was working on. "Rika!"

"Don't 'Rika' me!" Rika nearly shouted. "You're supposed to be my friend, Zee!"

"I am your friend, Rika. Which is why I'm telling you to stop-"

"DON'T SAY IT!"

Overhearing the two girls, Kazu couldn't do anything but chuckle. But he knew better than to comment on their conversation. Years of knowing the 'Digimon Queen' has taught Kazu to keep his mouth shut when he needed to.

As Rika and Zoë bickered back and forth, Kazu headed over to where Kenta and Ryo were, both of whom were steadily trying to put together one of the bigger tents.

"Kenta, you're making my guy Ryo look bad. Get out the way," Kazu remarked, watching Kenta struggle with one of the sticks holding the tent together.

Overall, the tent was almost done. On Ryo's side, anyway. Kenta could barely get the stick inside of the ground. Kazu rudely pushed Kenta out of the way, grabbing the stick from him.

"I swear, you act like you've never put up a tent before," the griping Kazu complained to his friend.

"It's not me. There's something in the dirt making it not go through," Kenta tried to plead his case. Kazu continued his teasing, though. "Yeah, right. Watch a REAL man work!"

Lifting the stick over his head, Kazu pounded it into the ground, but right when he did so, a certain something yelped in pain. It made Kazu fall on his butt, nearly screaming in fear.

"W-What the heck was that?!"

Having witnessed the entire scene, Ryo squinted his eyes at the spot in the dirt where the yelp came from. He casually walked over, standing right on top of the patch of land where Kazu and Kenta was trying to put the stick into. Slightly smirking, Ryo kicked up dirt from the spot, revealing two large eyes looking back at him.

Kenta and Kazu jump back. "What is that?!" The two of them cry in unison.

Ryo chuckled heartily, "Good one, Monodramon!"

A small, purple dragon jumped up from the dirt spot. Luckily, the only people around were Ryo, Kazu, Kenta, Rika, and Zoë.

Zoë looked at the dragon Digimon in surprise as he jumped in the air, latching onto Ryo's leg protectively once he got back on the ground. It made an odd noise, almost in between a squeak and a small roar, in Zoë's opinion.

"Hey, it's Monodramon," Kenta said excitedly. As soon as he said that, MarineAngemon flew out of his pocket, happily greeting Monodramon.

"Wait a minute, THAT was Cyberdramon?" Zoë asked, unable to mask the shock in her voice.

"Meet Monodramon, the Rookie form of Cyberdramon. He may look cute and cuddly but look out for his Cracking Bite attack," Rika explained.

Noticing the frown on Rika's face subsiding as she watched Ryo with Monodramon, something was becoming more obvious to Zoë. Rika REALLY did like Ryo. More than a lot. And for the life of her, Zoë couldn't understand why she wouldn't just admit it to herself.

Kazu rubbed the top of Monodramon's head, who seemed to instantly fall in love with the head petting, like an oversized puppy. "So you brought Monodramon, too, Ryo?"

Nodding, Ryo answered, "I definitely couldn't leave him at my apartment. He might be small, but he's still as destructive as Cyberdramon."

"That's exactly why I brought Guardromon with me," replied Kazu.

As Ryo, Kazu, and Kenta discussed having their Digimon on the camping trip, Rika recognized a look on Zoë that was now becoming all-too-familiar. Rika recognized the gears in Zoë's mind twisting. She didn't know what she had in mind and before she could say something, Zoë marched right up to the guys.

"Hey, Ryo. Can I talk to you for a sec?" She asked.

Her question actually caught Ryo off-guard. But, his confidence made him keep his composure. "Uh, sure."

Casting a quick glance Rika's way, Zoë leads Ryo away from the group.

The exchanged made Rika's eyebrow raise, if anything. She's been noticing that Ryo and Zoë have been becoming a little friendly lately. She didn't want to think too much into it, but exchanges like the one that just happened could only make her question what the two had going on.

Seeing the suspicious look Rika had on her face, Kenta and Kazu gave each other amused smiles. They then pointed them Rika's way.

Lingering on the disappearing figures of Zoë and Ryo a bit longer, Rika turned her gaze over onto Kazu and Kenta. Her frown returned to her lips as she looked at the two of them.

"What are you two looking at?"

"I could be wrong, Kenta, but I do believe that Miss Digimon Queen is a bit jealous."

A blush made Rika's cheeks turn red. "What are you talking about, loser?"

"You can name call all you want, Rika, but the look on your face says it all," the laughing Kazu chided.

"I think Zoë's right. Its finally time for the King and Queen to stop all the beef and come together," Kenta added.

Groaning, a vein nearly popped out of Rika's forehead as she closed her eyes in slight fury. Kazu and Kenta really knew how to get under her skin without even trying.

Their remarks earned them slaps across the face from Rika. The dynamic duo fell on their backs, the both of them seeing stars.

"Keep your mouths shut!" Rika screamed.

Despite what they said, Rika couldn't help but be a little curious at what Zoë had to talk with Ryo about. And why was it such a secret in the first place?

Her curiosity getting the best of her, on pure instinct, Rika decided to follow the two of them.

Izzy couldn't believe how much he was struggling. He was one of the most intelligent young men out there. He was extremely smart and had the ability to understand even the most complicated of scientific theories and mathematical theorems. He could do just about anything.

Yet he couldn't start a basic campfire.

"Come on, Izzy," Tentomon groaned. "Even Neanderthals could start a fire with two sticks."

Izzy had just about rubbed out the two sticks. "Don't compare me to a Neanderthal. I can do this."

"Are you sure you don't want me to get Joe?"

"Joe's probably AFRAID of fires. Besides, I can do this. It's all a matter of physics."

"Yeah, I can believe that. Starting a fire is physically impossible for you."

"Ha … ha. Aren't you quite the comedian?"

Izzy couldn't believe he was struggling this much with two wooden sticks. At this rate, he wouldn't have the fire ready in time for when Joe brought the kids. What he didn't notice was that he was about to be delayed even further. Somebody was calling him from the bushes.

"Izzy! Isn't that your professor friend?" Tentomon asked.

Izzy turned around and saw that Talley Onodera really was calling him from the bushes. He was starting to get scared that they had already found out that he spilled the beans. Izzy didn't want to go. He didn't know what Talley would do to him. But Tentomon was already pushing him over. Izzy gave in and walked over to the shrubs. Talley pulled him in.

"I need to talk to you," Talley said.

Izzy was getting nervous. "Y-You do?"

"Yeah… there's something you need to know."

Izzy was still thinking that the agents had discovered that he had spilled their secret. He was expecting to hear that Yamaki was going to have him secretly eliminated.

"What's that?"

Talley sighed. "Yamaki would kill me if he found out about this. He'd likely have me fired. But I think you need to know what's going on. There's something you need to be informed of."

Somehow, Izzy was getting another vibe now. He was starting to think Talley was talking about something completely different.

"What do you mean?" Izzy asked curiously.

"Izzy … Yamaki's turning to his last resort to deal with the Digimon. He's given up on finding the mole and he's turning his focus towards protecting Kari and stopping the Digimon threat. That's why he's going to resurrect the old Juggernaut project."

"I'm almost afraid to ask … but what's the Juggernaut project?"

"Juggernaut was first developed six years ago to deal with the increasing threat of wild Digimon coming into our world through West Shinjuku. It was designed to completely delete Digimon without leaving any loose data. However, the first run completely backfired and the end result was the destruction of our offices and the unofficial end to Hypnos. Our superiors were so furious that Yamaki and the rest of us ended up getting fired.

"Once the D-Reaper made its way into West Shinjuku, Yamaki was rehired and we were all brought back along with a group known as the Monster Makers to put an end to the threat once and for all. We worked with the Monster Makers to take all the bugs out of the Juggernaut system. Once the long debugging process was completed, the Tamers were able to defeat the D-Reaper and the Juggernaut program reverted it to its original state, essentially ending the threat forever."

"I'm not seeing a downside to this," Izzy mused. "If this Juggernaut project can help us, then what's the problem?"

"I'm not finished. True, the Juggernaut played a major role in ending the D-Reaper threat… but there were VERY serious side effects. In order to keep the D-Reaper in the Digital World, everything from the Digital World was sucked out of our world and sent back to where they came from. All remaining gateways to the Digital World were also closed. To this day, I still don't know how the Tamers got their Digimon back. I haven't exactly had the chance to ask them.

"But this is what worries me, Izzy. If Yamaki restores the Juggernaut system, the possibility exists that every Digimon in Odaiba, if not the entire world, could be sent back into the Digital World. And if every port is closed, there may be no getting them back."

Tentomon sweatdropped. "I don't like the sound of that."

Izzy didn't know what to say. "There has to be another way!"

"That's what I was hoping to talk to you about, Izzy. Maybe there IS another way. But a few of my colleagues, like Yamaki and Riley, won't even hear it from me. That's why I need your help. You're the smartest guy I know. You'll know what to do … won't you?"

Izzy sighed. "I'll certainly give it my all."

"I'll fill Yoshi and Professor Norstein in on this, too. Maybe between the four of us, we should be able to figure something out," Talley added. Then, her face went back to serious and she added, "Most importantly of all, you can't tell ANYBODY about this! This is our little secret. Promise me, Izzy!"

It didn't take much to get Izzy to agree. "I promise. Not a soul will know about this."

Talley smiled. "Thank you. I know you can do this. I know you'll figure out another way to handle this."

Izzy would have no choice. If the overzealous Yamaki unleashed this Juggernaut system, then all the Digimon were in danger.

Rika tried to keep up with Ryo and Zoë as best she could, tailing the two as they slickly walked through the cabins of the camp.

Their erratic and secretive behavior only seemed to worsen Rika's suspicions. And how could they blame her? This wasn't typical behavior from either one of them, as far as Rika was concerned.

As Rika tried to navigate through the maze of cabins on the campsite, she mistimed her steps, running into what just so happened to be a familiar face to her.

"Suzie?!" Rika asked in surprise.

"Rika!"

It was indeed none other than Suzie Wong that Rika had run into.

"Wow! I didn't expect to see you guys here!"

Before Suzie responded, Rika saw another familiar face to her. It was Suzie's Digimon companion, Lopmon, hanging loosely from her partner's shoulder, similar to the way Terriermon can be seen hanging from her brother's shoulder.

The bubbly high schooler giggled, "I didn't expect to see you here, either, Rika!"

"What are you doing here, Suzie?"

"I'm one of the volunteers from West Shinjuku High School. I kinda had to for community service hours," she gave Rika an anxious gaze, casting her eyes to her feet with guilt, "... For detention."

"Detention?!" Rika remarked, almost in the tone of a big sister.

"It's for being late to school."

"And why are you being late for school, young lady?"

"In the park, these guys are always having card duels with each other. And everyday I come past, they're always going on and on about how 'girls aren't any good at Digimon Battles.

"They haven't met you, Rika. But, I try and show them a thing or two. Having you, my brother, Takato, Ryo, and Kazu show me all about has me whooping their butts almost everyday now. THAT'S why I'm being late for school."

In a moment of true pride, Rika cracked a wide smile at Suzie. "That's my girl!"

They slap high fives with each other enthusiastically.

"Now, Suzie. Bragging about having detention is not very-"

"Becoming of a lady, yes, I know Lopmon. But, why can't I be a lady AND show these dumb boys that a lady can still beat them at just about anything?"

"You can, but we must have class about," the long-eared Digimon shot back.

Suzie poked her lip out, "I have class."

Rika laughed at the two of them. She had seen Suzie and Lopmon grow and mature with each other. It was almost watching Henry and Terriermon in reverse roles: Lopmon was Henry and Suzie had turned out to take after Terriermon. It was rather ironic.

"Hey, Rika! Are any of the others here? Like, Henry, or Ryo? Or, hey! What about Kazu and Kenta?"

Suzie naming Ryo brought Rika back to her senses. She went right back to look around the cabins for Ryo and Zoë. "Suzie, I don't mean to cut you off, but I was kind in the middle of something."

"Did you need help? I'll help!"

Before Rika knew it, she had a partner-in-crime. Suzie, with Lopmon on her shoulder, followed Rika as she navigated through the cabins of the camp.

"Are we looking for someone?" Lopmon asked curiously.

"You could say that," Rika simply answered.

Suzie let out another one of her giggles. "Are you looking for Ryo?"

Stopping dead in her tracks, Rika turned around and glared at Suzie. Suzie ducked as if acid would come from Rika's stare.

If it were any of the guys, Rika would've probably knocked them by now. But, she had a soft spot in her heart for Suzie and Jeri. She gave them a little more leeway with their constant subtle remarks that irked Rika so much.

"You're lucky I like you. Otherwise I would've-"

That's when she heard hushed voices speaking around the corner. They were low, but just enough for Rika to make here them so she can follow the sound.

Putting a finger to her lips to shush her two tagalongs, Rika led them over to the furthest cabin in the camp, going towards the lake.

Poking her head around a corner, Rika saw Ryo and Zoë, the two of them speaking low and close. Rika could make out the lips of Zoë and that's all she needed. She was pretty decent at lip reading.

"... Ryo, you need to just tell her how you feel. Stop being …"

Unfortunately, she couldn't see Ryo's lips, so she had no idea what his response was. The topic of what they were discussing had Rika even MORE curious.

Zoë started saying something else. Rika could make out, " … Well, I'm … help out … as I can."

Watching the older Tamer squint towards Ryo and Zoë with precision, Suzie traded a confused frown with Lopmon.

The last straw for Rika was when she read Zoë's lips and could make out, " … This can't go on any longer."

Reading that one statement, Rika no longer cared about being discreet.

Not even warning Suzie and Lopmon, Rika went around the corner, beelining for Zoë and Ryo. "So," Rika said loudly, getting both of their attention, "What are we talking about over here?"

Her sudden appearance was unexpected to the both of them. Zoë was a little more surprised than Ryo was, which was expected.

"Rika! We were just-"

"Why all the secrecy guys? Was coming all the way out here really necessary? Just what ARE you talking about?"

Ryo did that annoying chuckle he did. Rika was almost positive he did that to get on her nerves. Suzie and Lopmon ran up behind her.

"Okay, Rika, you're blowing this way out of proportion. This isn't even what you think," started Ryo. Rika didn't even want to hear it, though.

"Don't tell me I'm blowing something out of proportion, Akiyama!"

Sighing, Zoë closed her eyes in frustration. "Okay! Here's what we're gonna do. You two DEFINITELY need to talk to each other. Because this is starting to get ridiculous."

"Talk about what?!" Rika heard her voice rising. Her annoyed factor was going up.

"Just talk! Talk about what you THINK you need to talk about!" Zoë shot back, beginning to walk away. And for the first time in a long time, Rika saw Ryo get nervous as she started walking away.

"Zoë, where are you going?!" Ryo shouted after her.

The blonde look back at the two Tamers, shooting them a wide grin as she walked towards the lake shore.

Ryo turned back to a stone-faced Rika. He turned his attention the curious faces of Suzie and Lopmon.

"Hey, Suze! Lopmon!" He greeted, trying to quickly change the subject. Rika wasn't having it, however.

"Oh, no you don't, Mr. Legend! Talk about what?!"

Looking back at Rika's stone-face, Ryo managed to only gulp down the large lump that had taken form in his throat nervously.

"Nice work, Naomi. The kids seem to love you," Joe complimented one of the other high school volunteers from Odaiba High School.

It was a young girl named Naomi Avalon, who was perky and cheerful and the kids seem to take an immediate liking to her.

As the sun started to set and night began, Joe, along with the help of Koichi, took many of the children to do arts and crafts. Everyone, even the volunteers, seemed to be enjoying themselves. So far this whole camping trip was going great.

"Thanks, Joe! My little cousin is one of the campers here so I guess that's why I feel the need to work at it extra hard. To make sure she feels comfortable."

Joe smiled. This Naomi girl reminded him of himself. She was very dependable and reliable. Not just to the young campers but to the other volunteers, as well. That was rare to find in a person. Especially a young person.

"Well, whatever it is, be sure you keep it up. We could use that spirit of yours."

"No prob!" Naomi said with a laugh.

Nodding, Joe watched Naomi go over to a table where a bunch of kids were painting and doing paper mache. He began walking over to the table Koichi sat at with another high school volunteer, this one he apparently already knew beforehand.

It was Tommy Himi, an old friend of Koichi's that had volunteered for the camping trip from Shibuya High School.

"How's it going, guys?" Joe asked the two of them as they watched over the kids get together ingredients to roast marshmallows with.

"The kids are really excited," Koichi responded with a smile, "I think I'm actually more excited than them for these s'mores, though!"

"Good thing Gomamon and Tigrismon decided to go and do their own thing by the lake." Joe thanked his lucky stars Gomamon knew how to keep himself busy. And since Koichi decided to bring Tigrismon along with him, Gomamon wouldn't have to keep busy by himself, either.

Tommy wasn't even focused on the kids in front of him or what Joe and Koichi were talking about. Naomi had caught his eye and now he couldn't pay attention to anything else.

"Hey, Joe. Who was that girl you was just talking to?"

Joe took a look back over to Naomi after hearing Tommy's question. "Oh, that's one of the volunteers from Odaiba High School, Naomi. She says she has a cousin as one of the campers."

"That explains why she's so well with them," Koichi deduced.

Soon all three of them were watching Naomi handle a table full of hyperactive children with ease.

"That doesn't explain why she's so cute," Tommy said with a smirk. "I'm gonna go talk to her!"

Joe gasped in surprise at the high schooler as he got up, making his way over to Naomi's table. Koichi must've already known what his friend had in mind because he instantly grabbed for sixteen-year-old.

"Tommy, wait!"

It was too late. Tommy was already marching right over to Naomi's table with confidence that rivaled his mentors, Takuya and Koji.

Koichi merely shook his head. Joe was worried for a completely different reason. "I don't need one of the best volunteers here to get distracted! We need her."

"Well, hopefully, she'll be immune to Tommy's ... 'charm'. If you can call it that," Koichi said sarcastically, still watching Tommy make his way over to the girl in question.

Tommy's raging hormones was definitely becoming a problem.

Naomi had no idea that she would be having so much fun being a volunteer for kids. Maybe it was because her little cousin, Kristy Damon, was one of the young campers. It made her feel more at ease that she knew one of the kids because she barely knew the other two high school kids that were volunteering.

Kristy looked up from the picture she was painting, waving it in front of Naomi's face excitedly. "Naomi, look!"

With a large smile, Naomi took the picture, seeing five stick figures smudged with paint on it. Naomi could make out a field of flowers splayed messily on the paper, thinking the caricatures were rather cute. "What's it supposed to be, Kristy?"

Putting the picture to where Kristy can easily point to each piece of the picture, she began pointing at the stick figures, "That's me, and that's you. That's my Mommy and that's Auntie Diane. And that's Grandpa Homer!"

Kristy mentioning their grandfather made her fun and jolly mood subside for only a second. One of her favorite people was her grandfather. The way Kristy was so endeared to him was reminiscent of how Naomi was when she was Kristy's age with their grandfather.

But ... recent events have made Naomi very apprehensive towards the man.

After her parents made such a big deal about him finally coming home after being gone on a 'work-related trip' for years, her grandfather had made it his business to make sure he avoids the rest of the family. Not even his two daughters, Kristy's mother and Naomi's Mom, have been able to keep track of their father. It made him look suspicious, if anything, in Naomi's eyes.

Not wanting to keep thinking the negative thoughts she had of her grandfather, Naomi quickly decided to keep her mind off his recent actions. "This is REALLY pretty, Kristy!" Naomi said with as much spunk she could muster.

"Thanks, Naomi!"

"Excuse me?" A voice came from behind them.

Naomi turned to see a boy that was about her age with a hat turned backwards walking his way. He wasn't someone from Odaiba High School that Naomi recognized, so she automatically assumed it was another volunteer from another high school.

His confident smile he had plastered on his face was almost infectious.

"Can I help you?" Naomi said, an amused smirk matching his confident smile.

"I'm sorry, I know you don't know me. And I don't know you… what's your name?"

Naomi was impressed with his straightforwardness. "Naomi. How 'bout yours?"

"I'm Tommy. Tommy Himi."

"Tommy. That's a cute name."

The boy frowned the moment the word cute came out of her mouth. "Cute?"

She couldn't help but laugh at his reaction. "What's wrong with cute?"

"I'm not a puppy."

Naomi couldn't hold in her giggles. This guy was funny and cute. She had to find out where he was from. "Where are you from, Tommy? I've never seen you at Odaiba before."

"Only when it's a soccer game. I'm from Shibuya," Tommy answered, his smile returning to his face.

"You play soccer?"

"I do. Do you?"

"One of the best in Odaiba," Naomi teasingly kept on the smirk she had. This playful banter was fun. It took her mind off of more unpleasant things going on in her life.

"That's funny. I've never heard or seen you before," Tommy decided to play along with her.

"They call me the Ghost Whisperer."

The two of them burst out into laughter at the joke. Even though it was corny, it seemed to do the trick.

Tommy caught his laughs, giving Naomi a quick gaze. It gave Naomi a sudden burst of butterflies, his eyes seem to hold a knowledge that couldn't be seen on the outside. His eyes cut away and she immediately lost the feeling, his attention now focused on a blonde girl walking towards the lake.

His face brightened. "Zoë?"

He continued to watch the blonde girl disappear down into the dock. Not taking another second to think it over, Tommy started to make moves to follow after her. Seeing Naomi brought him back to what was going on in front of him, though.

"Uh… Naomi, right?"

Her smirk never left her face. "How could you forget?"

"Who would forget a pretty name like that. Tell you what. I gotta go catch up to an old friend of mine. But… I do wanna talk more over some s'mores. Is it okay if we do that?"

Naomi had to admit. Tommy was indeed charming. For some reason, she felt like he was like this with all the girls, though. She decided to entertain him, anyway. "Sure."

Flashing that confident smile of his at her, Tommy gave her a wink and thumbs off before heading in the direction the blonde girl disappeared to. "I'm gonna hold you to that!"

She returned the thumbs up and the wink. "I'll be here!"

Watching him leave to chase the blonde girl in the woods, Naomi couldn't help but chuckle. She's run into types of guys like him before. "He's one of THOSE."

Davis stuck his head out of the closet. There was nobody else there. He was clear to advance. With the sorority house eerily quiet, he tiptoed towards another room that was shrouded in darkness.

He looked for a light switch, but the light bulb was out. Only the faint illumination from the streetlamps outside was providing a light source. Davis then noticed a lot of backpacks and bags around the room.

Feeling in a particularly nosy mood, Davis looked through one of the bags … and found clothes. This was just what he was looking for. He knew he would find what he was looking for in these bags. Davis had hit paydirt. He had found his first pair of underwear.

But just as Davis grabbed his first pair …

"DROP … THE UNDERWEAR!"

Davis flinched. He had been caught. He turned around and saw not just one girl this time, but three girls standing by the light. One was holding up a broom, the other a pan, the other a mop. When all three of them did the Xena Warrior Princess battle cry...

Davis knew he was in trouble.

Before Davis could even make his move, the girl in the middle of the three started twirling the broom in her hand like a staff before taking a fighting stance. She unleashed another battle cry and charged forward. Twirling the broom before her first strike, she smacked Davis across the face with the bristly cleaning utensil. Davis tried to roll out of the way to safety, but she kept hammering away with the broom. He nearly pulled himself away, but the girl pulled him back by the ankle before giving him a stiff shot in the back with the broom, breaking it in half.

Finally, after taking a brutal beating, Davis managed to escape the beating when he rolled out the door. As he ran down the hall, however, he tripped and fell on his face. He turned around just as another one of the three girls ran after him. Davis was in the light now and his face was revealed.

"PERVERT!"

Davis started tearing up in fear. "Please! I … can explain!"

"PERVERT!"

She started pounding on Davis with the mop. When Davis got to his feet, the sorority girl greeted him with a huge kick to the posterior that knocked him down again. Davis frantically tried to get away, but the second girl shattered the mop on his back, just as the other girl did with the broom. While Davis held his back, the third of the three picked up a vase and shattered it on his head.

"EXPLAIN THAT, PERVERT!"

"NO EXCUSES!"

"YOU'LL BE SORRY YOU EVER BROKE IN HERE, PERV!"

The girl who broke the vase on his head held up the pan she had in her hand and swiped like she was in the World Series. Davis managed to duck before she hit a homerun, though. Finally finding an opening, Davis started heading for the hills.

He was so willing to do anything for membership to this frat. Skydiving was one thing, breaking into a rival fraternity's party was another, but dealing with vengeful sorority girls was almost too much.

This wasn't worth the punishment. Davis was finally ready to throw in the towel.

Takato was completely lost. After seeing Davis go up to the roof and down the chimney, Takato had no idea where to find him. He didn't know the sorority house was that big. He wondered how many people could fit in here before the fire marshal would break up the party.

He couldn't believe he had lost Davis. He needed to find him if he had any hopes of getting the inevitable disaster in his sketchbook. Takato didn't want to think he had come all this way just to come up empty. He would have loved to give Goggle Man a new adventure.

"Great … I may already have to go into repeats."

Suddenly, Takato started to hear a commotion. He got the feeling that he found his good buddy. Takato walked towards the source of the uproar, but was surprised when a certain someone knocked him down on his can.

Takato didn't even have time to yell. He turned around and saw Davis was already up and running. Takato cringed and braced as three girls, who didn't even notice him, trample him over in pursuit after Davis and out the front door.

That's when things started to go left for Takato. He noticed something else. He had a pair of panties draping over his head. Davis must have dropped them.

Things didn't get any better, because another three girls appeared to the right of him, one of them gasping in surprise upon spotting Takato. It turned out to be Kari … who was holding up a baseball bat.

"TAKATO?! YOU'RE the pervert?!"

Takato realized that he was not in a good position at all. He was caught inside a sorority house, completely unannounced, and had a pair of women's underwear hanging over his head.

"Kari! This isn't what it looks like! I … OHHHHH!"

Kari didn't give him a chance to finish. Instead, as if she was possessed by something, she swung the bat with rage and gave Takato a stiff field homerun … in an unfriendly area. One of her sorority compadres then picked him up and dragged him to the front door. While Takato moaned in pain, the sister tossed him out the front door like a sack of potatoes. Takato just stayed down, figuring it was best to stay still while his pain went away.

"AND STAY OUT!" The sister shouted.

Takato laid flat on his back. "Great … me and my bright ideas …"

Satisfied with a job well done, Kari cheered along with the other girls in the sorority. They had really come together as a team and as sisters. Kari just couldn't believe that Takato, of ALL people, was the pervert in question. She was about to comment on it to Leezel and Meiko, who were standing right next to her until she heard a knock at one of the side doors to the sorority house.

"He's back for more?" Leezel growled with a wide grin.

With confidence, Kari held a hand up. "Ladies … I got this."

"Okay, Kari! Go get'em tiger!"

Kari was fully convinced that it was Takato trying his luck again. She couldn't believe him. This whole thing was starting to make her see him in a completely different light. She tried her best to shrug it off, preparing herself to give Takato another taste of Delta Gamma fury.

She looked around for something else she could arm herself with. As a whole, the sorority had already used a broom, a mop, a vase, a baseball bat, and a dish. That's when she found one of the girls' snowboards lying around. It was a wooden board and looked very solid. So Kari picked it up and walked towards the door. She braced herself, because the knob began to turn, Kari not even knowing that door wasn't locked … which would make it easier to whack this pervert.

She stood back while someone walked through the door.

"Hello … ACK!"

Kari had clobbered her target over the head, instantly knocking him out, and bent the snowboard. She had delivered a winning blow. What she didn't realize until after she had swung … was that it wasn't Takato.

"Uh… I think that's the wrong guy, Kari," Meiko said meekly, poking her nose over Kari's shoulder.

"He has goggles, too?!" Leezel cried aloud.

Kari had inadvertently knocked out Takuya.

Kari looked down at Takuya and back at the bent snowboard. "Uh … oops."

Realizing her gaffe, Kari, along with the help of Meiko and Leezel, started dragging Takuya towards one of the couches.

TK had lost Catherine. It was far too late at night to be following anybody. TK didn't see her around anywhere. He came out of the bushes and looked around, but only saw he was by the vast lake.

"Just great," TK grumbled.

TK began to walk onto the dock by the lake. He felt like getting into one of the canoes and rowing off, but he knew he had to be back later. So far, volunteering here at the campsite hadn't been much fun. It wasn't the enjoyable, nostalgic experience he was hoping for. Between Catherine and Rosa, this had not been a good day.

Luckily, TK saw he wouldn't be complaining alone. On the shore of the lake, he saw a familiar face. It was Zoë of all people. And she wasn't by herself. She was with another guy, who looked to be a little younger than the two of them. Gomamon also splashed in the water not far from them, the tiny Tigrismon giving chase on land happily. They were all obviously taking a relaxing and much needed break for the day's events.

Gomamon was the first one to spot TK, he immediately piped up at the sight of him. "Hey, TK! What are you doing here?"

Zoë turned, her face lighting up once she saw the familiar face. "TK! What's up, I didn't expect to see you out here."

"You either… are you…" he gave her and her young guy companion a strange look. "Did you two want to be alone?"

The two of them must've caught on to what TK was trying to ask because they gave him a quizzical look before exchanging amused glances with each other … before bursting out into laughter.

TK frowned at the two of them. After Zoë was able to get ahold of her giggles, she managed to muster out, "TK, no! Tommy, here is a friend of mine back from Shibuya. A Legendary Warrior!"

That surprised TK. "Another one?"

"You bet! And believe Zoë when she says we're just friends. I got my eye on someone already."

"Tommy, please. I don't know when you started thinking you were such a ladies man. I remember when you used to cry-"

"Okay, Zee! I think that's enough talking about the old days."

TK couldn't help but laugh. The two of them certainly seemed close. Almost like a 'big sister, little brother' vibe they were giving off. It kind of reminded him of his relationship he had with Sora.

"You never answered my question, TK! What are you doing out here? Did you come for a swim?" Gomamon interrupted. He dodged Tigrismon's weak swipes he made at the water with his paw, trying to catch the swimming Digimon. Zoë saw this and shouted towards Tigrismon, "Tigrismon, be careful! You're gonna fall in!"

TK sighed, Gomamon's question bringing him back to reality. "Lost. I was looking for Catherine, but I lost her."

Turning to TK, Zoë gave him another quizzical look. "Catherine?"

Gomamon also gave him a confused look. "I thought I heard Matt say you were done with Catherine."

"I AM done with Catherine! But … Catherine doesn't understand that. You guys, I can't believe this. Why me? I've never had this many girl problems before! I mean, between knowing Catherine wanting to be with me, having to tell Rosa that Ken doesn't want her, and between Kari-"

"Kari? What about Kari?" Tigrismon decided to chime in before exactly what Zoë warned him would happen happened. He fell off the ledge he was standing on and into the lake.

Zoë gasped worriedly. Luckily, Gomamon emerged from under the water, carrying a laughing Tigrismon on his back. "That was fun!" Tigrismon said happily.

All Zoë could do was grin incredulously. "I told you to be careful, Tigrismon!"

"I'm okay, Zoë!" Tigrismon waved, now hitching a ride on the back of Gomamon as he swam next to the lake shore.

Turning her attention back to TK, Zoë said, "What was that you were saying about Kari, TK?" She raised a curious eyebrow, anxious for his answer.

TK quickly backtracked. "Uh … nothing."

"Wow, TK. I've never seen anybody have those kinds of problems with girls before. Besides me, of course," Tommy said, earning him a slap in the back of the head from Zoë. "What?! All I was saying was… What are you going to do?"

"I don't know. But it's like this day can't get any worse."

If there was one thing TK should have learned from knowing Davis for so many years, it was that nothing good could ever come out of saying that. Sure enough, something did come along to make the night worse. Something was swimming inside the lake and it moved towards the dock. In the blink of an eye, it rushed the dock and knocked down its foundation.

Before or any of them could get to safety, TK found himself falling into the lake along with Zoë and Tommy. While TK splashed frantically, something enormous rose up from the water. It was a gigantic sea serpent.

"Ah, lookie here! Some DigiDestined! Just what I was looking to destroy!"

Gomamon, with Tigrismon holding onto his back tightly, rose up from the water. "MetalSeadramon?!"

"Close! You destroyed him, my cousin! And now I, ChaosSeadramon, am here for revenge!"

TK kept splashing. "Couldn't you come back some other night?!"

"NO! Prepare to meet your fate, but maybe I'll play around with you all first."

"A giant fish with an old grudge is definitely not what we need right now! I barely even like seafood!" Zoë screamed, splashing right along with TK.

ChaosSeadramon whipped his tail so that TK, Zoë, and Tommy were flung into the air. Then the serpent slapped his tail into the ocean, causing a huge faux-tsunami to catch the three of them, sending the three of them to go spiraling back into the ocean. The tsunami also caught Gomamon and Tigrismon, Tigrismon losing his balance off of Gomamon's back, the little Digimon getting lost in the current.

Gomamon tried to help. "Don't worry, guys, I'll save you! Marching Fishes!"

Gomamon called his fishy friends to surround ChaosSeadramon. But the gigantic fiend sent them all aside with another mighty splash that created an even more tremendous wave.

"Gomamon…" TK managed to squeak out as he kept getting swept up by the current. "Get help!"

Gomamon didn't want to leave, but turned around and swam away, knowing the four of them wouldn't last long against this brutal onslaught.

In the meantime, TK fought his hardest to stay conscious, his vision going in and as he felt ChaosSeadramon's tail hit him in the back, full on. He was washed through the tides of the large lake, until he felt a hand squeeze onto his own hand tightly. He saw Zoë, also struggling to stay conscious, grab his hand and held on tightly to Tommy's hand with her other hand. The three of them formed a makeshift rope with their hands.

None of them saw Tommy reach into his pocket with his other hand, however, pulling out his D-Tector …

The tide of the situation seemed to turn in their favor as the three of them resurfaced, Tommy raising his Digivice over his head.

**Execute … Beast Spirit Evolution … Korikakumon!**

Kazu held up a bow and began aiming an arrow. "Ok, kids, to prepare for tomorrow's archery exhibition, I'm going to demonstrate the proper way to shoot an arrow. And because I'm SUCH an expert at it, my good friend, Kenta, is going to stand still over by that tree and I shoot this arrow and knock that apple off his head."

Inspired by a game Renamon and Gatomon played a few weeks ago, Kazu decided to help the kids out with their upcoming archery contest by playing a game of William Tell. Kenta stood still, with sweat running down his temples, as the apple was shaking on his head.

"Kenta, don't let that apple fall off. I don't want to have to put it back up again."

Kazu aimed carefully. He knew this would take the utmost precision and the slightest distraction would result in Kenta getting skewered.

"HELP!"

"Huh?"

Kazu was thrown completely off when he released the arrow. The arrow went into the air at a 45 degree angle into the tree leaves. A beehive fell out of the tree and landed beside Kenta. The bees angrily came out and started chasing him.

"AAH! KAZU!"

"Uh … be right back. Kenta, watch the kids."

Kenta hysterically ran around in circles while Kazu ran to the source of that distress call. He saw Gomamon waiting for him in one of the shrubs.

"What's up, Gomamon?"

"There's a Digimon attacking by the lake! TK and Zoë need help!"

Kazu was caught by surprise. "We'll be right there!" He ran out of the bush to retrieve his friend. "Kenta! Quit playing around! We've got a problem!"

Kenta was still running away from the angered bees. "Bigger than THIS?"

"Oh, yeah!"

ChaosSeadramon was not expecting another Digimon to come to the rescue so quick. But there was Korikakumon, the Beast Spirit of Ice, standing tall and proud ready for a fight.

"Well, well, well… What do we have here?" ChaosSeadramon sneered.

Roaring loudly, Korikakumon jumped out of the lake, causing another giant wave that rocked TK and Zoë even deeper underwater. The two of them managed to stay together by keeping their hands locked, Tigrismon was nowhere to be found.

Korikakumon sailed in the sky and back down towards the lake, right on top of ChaosSeadramon, his large axes extended forward. "Avalanche Axes!"

The attack clearly caught ChaosSeadramon off guard because Korikakumon managed to cause a giant geyser that erupted from the lake where ChaosSeadramon was floating just a second ago.

TK and Zoë were rocked in the water as the two Digimon battled one another. The two of them were rocked around like ragdolls, barely able to breathe.

Underneath the murky water, TK could make out an unconsious Tigrismon, ChaosSeadramon speeding past all of them, shooting right towards Korikakumon. The serpent knocked into TK and Zoë, causing the two to release each other's hand. TK suddenly felt his body getting weaker. He didn't have the strength to pull himself up. He was drowning.

"River Blast!" ChaosSeadramon yelled.

Just like his old counterpart, MetalSeadramon, ChaosSeadramon fired a powerful ray at his opposition. The blast nailed Korikakumon right in the chest, knocking the Legendary Warrior on his back with a grunt.

The sea serpent laughed menacingly. "The bigger they are, the harder they fall! River-"

"Justice Kick!"

ChaosSeadramon was readying to unleash another attack at Korikakumon, but before he could get it out, a figure coming in as fast a speeding bullet knocked the serpent in his side. The impact caused another enormous tidal wave in the lake.

TK found himself swirling around yet again, his vision becoming blurrier. He knew he had to get out of the water as the battle waged on. Right when TK felt his body going numb, he felt a hand grab him and pull him out of the water. As soon as he surfaced, he started coughing furiously. He could now see a clear picture of the battle that was going on.

Korikakumon was joined by two familiar Digimon and two more unfamiliar Digimon. One of the unfamiliar Digimon had long, violet ears that extended to the back. It had on a yellow, sleeveless jumpsuit, a blue bandanna around its neck, a brown belt on its waist, and black martial arts shoes on its feet. To top everything off, it had large, iron claws attached to its hands.

The bunny-like Digimon jumped at ChaosSeadramon. "Gauntlet Claw!"

"Go get that seaside platter, Turuiemon!"

The voice coming from right behind him, TK saw that he was pulled out of the lake by Rika and another, younger girl he didn't recognize.

The younger girl ran to the shore of the lake, watching the battle commence.

"River Blast!"

Shooting another powerful ray at the Digimon known as Turuiemon, ChaosSeadramon snarled when he saw the bunny Digimon easily dodge the attacks.

One of the familiar Digimon decided to take it as his chance to distract ChaosSeadramon. It was MarineAngemon, who started flying around ChaosSeadramon.

The serpent growled, "You measly pests! Stand still and fight instead of running away like the gnats you are! HEY!"

ChaosSeadramon had been hit with a blast. It came from a few feet away, by the shattered dock. The blast came from Kazu and Guardromon.

"Give him another one, Guardromon!"

"Guardian Barrage!"

Rika held out her Digivice. "ChaosSeadramon, Mega-level! The corrupted form of MetalSeadramon! His River Blast attack hits just as hard as his counterpart's River of Power attack!"

Guardromon shot another missile at ChaosSeadramon, which only looked to only be annoying him. ChaosSeadramon growled and got ready to attack.

"River Blast!"

ChaosSeadramon fired another powerful ray, this one went straight for Kazu and Guardromon. Kazu managed to dive out of the way, but Guardromon was nailed in the chest and sent flying back until his back slammed onto a tree. ChaosSeadramon followed up by slapping MarineAngemon down with his tail.

Kenta gasped. "MarineAngemon!"

Turuiemon jumped towards ChaosSeadramon again, but he was ready for her this time. He grabbed her with his tail, squeezing the life out of her.

"Oh, no! Turuiemon!" The young girl cried.

Right when it seemed like he would smash her, ChaosSeadramon released Turuiemon, the Digimon reverting back to a Digimon that reminded TK of a brown Terriermon.

The Digimon fell lifelessly in the lake. The young girl would've dove right in after the Digimon had Rika not grabbed her shoulders. "Suzie, don't!"

"Is that it?" ChaosSeadramon mocked. "That all you got?"

Just when ChaosSeadramon started to get cocky, another Digimon grabbed him by the tail. He turned, seeing the Digimon that had first knocked him down.

"You again?" ChaosSeadramon growled.

"Yes, me! Justimon! And you're about sunk, ChaosSeadramon!" The Digimon shouted back.

TK thought he heard two voices coming from this Digimon. One of them being Ryo. His vision started to become dizzy so he passed the thought off as hallucination.

Not able to get his tail out of Justimon's grip, ChaosSeadramon roared, preparing for another attack. That's when two more attacks hit him from behind unexpectedly.

"Frozen Arrowheads!"

"Harpoon Torpedo!"

ChaosSeadramon sighed as he got hit from the side. "Now what?!"

TK looked over to see that Joe had arrived and was riding atop Ikkakumon, having Digivolved to his Champion form. And he also saw the Korikakumon had gotten his footing again, ready for a round two. Ikkakumon stopped by the shore and dropped Joe off and resumed his attack.

"Okay … I've had enough of this! RIVER BLAST!"

ChaosSeadramon attacked again. Ikkakumon and Korikakumon managed to avoid the shot and kept charging forward. ChaosSeadramon whipped his tail, Justimon still holding onto it. Snapping it like a circus master, ChaosSeadramon knocked Justimon off of his tail, sending him flying right into Ikkakumon. Korikakumon tried to tackle the serpent, but ChaosSeadramon didn't budge. Like his Dark Master cousin, he had metallic coating.

"Kazu, Kenta, go check on Zoë!" Joe shouted.

TK saw that Zoë had managed to drag herself on the opposite shore of the lake. Kazu and Kenta rushed to Zoë's aid while Joe held out his Digivice. He knew it would take more than Ikkakumon to take this evil Digimon down.

**Ikkakumon … Digivolve to … Zudomon!**

Having reached the Ultimate-level, the large warrior turtle could more than hold his own. Zudomon swam towards ChaosSeadramon, Justimon now riding on the large shell on his back.

While Justimon and Zudomon rushed towards the battle, Korikakumon and ChaosSeadramon were locked in a wrestling match, ChaosSeadramon getting the upperhand when he wrapped his snake-like body around Korikakumon, similar how he did Turuiemon.

Squeezing tightly, data surrounded Korikakumon, Tommy now in his place. ChaosSeadramon released the boy, Tommy dropping into the lake.

"Vulcan's-"

Just as Zudomon reached up to strike, ChaosSeadramon extended his tail again, wrapping it around Zudomon's wrists. Zudomon found himself being tossed up, knocking Justimon into a tree. The tree cracked in half, the shrubbery falling to the ground with a loud crash. Maniacally laughing, ChaosSeadramon threw Zudomon over to the shore. Things weren't going well at all. TK knew he had to do something. He tried to get up … but he couldn't.

Rika saw him trying to move, placing a hand gently on his shoulder. "TK, take it easy."

He never heard her words, however, because he ended up falling over and passing out.

Joe watched as Zudomon got tossed towards the shore. He had never seen the Ultimate-level Digimon get thrown like that before. Right when Zudomon fell on the shore, he reverted back to Gomamon, who laid on the shore of the lake, still and stunned.

ChaosSeadramon laughed victoriously. "Who's next?!"

As soon as he said that, ChaosSeadramon was given his answer.

Shining brightly, a beam of light shot straight from the middle of the lake and into the sky. Everyone in the vicinity looked up at the endless light.

The water of the lake began swirling around the beam of light, causing much of the lake to have dry spots. The dry spots revealed a disheveled Tommy and Lopmon, both of whom looked to be worse for the wear, but fine nonetheless. They also watched the beam of light in awe.

Continuing to shine, the light split open to reveal a floating Tigrismon, his eyes glowing the same color as the bright light. In the sky, at the tip of the beam in the sky, a ghostly apparition appeared. It seemed somewhat familiar to Joe, but not entirely. Justimon definitely recognized the apparition, though.

"Baihumon?!"

Indeed, the Digimon Sovereign, Baihumon roared to the sky. As he does this, two beams of light shoot from his body, heading straight for Gomamon and Tommy.

ChaosSeadramon sneered. He took aim at the beam of light. "River Blast!"

The attack never reached its target. By the time it reached Tigrismon, the blast evaporated into nothingness. ChaosSeadramon growled as he started towards the beam.

The two lights that came from Baihumon made it Tommy and Gomamon and everyone soon was in for the surprise of their lives.

**Execute … Fusion Evolution … WarFabukimon!**

**Gomamon … Warp Digivolve to … Vikemon!**

Much to Joe's surprise, Zudomon hadn't changed into a smaller Mega like MarineAngemon as Izzy predicted. Instead, he grew into a large beast, almost similar to Zudomon save for the fact that his fur was white. He also had a large shell on his back with the markings from vikings past that had two huge circular spikes protruding from it. Zudomon had reached the Mega level and it was far different than what Izzy had projected. Izzy's calculations looked to be way off, because this was no MarineAngemon.

Beside Vikemon, in the place of where Tommy was just a second ago, stood a creature that was similar to Korikakumon: the result of the Human and Beast Spirits of Ice combining. He had the body of Korikakumon, large boots that resembled Kumamon, and metal clanks on his shoulder that had a face of a teddy bear emblazoned on them. Attached to his arms were huge weapons that were an enlarged version of Kumamon's gun but they had the axes of Korikakumon on either side of them.

They were sights to see, for sure.

"I'm WarFabukimon, the Fusion Form of the Human and Beast Spirits of Ice! My power is more than the strength of an entire snowstorm! I'll show you with my Snow Blitz Rage attack!"

"And I am Vikemon, governor of the arctic! You'll see how that title holds true when I freeze the lands with my Arctic Blizzard attack!"

As soon as Vikemon and WarFabukimon appeared, the apparition of Baihumon disappeared and the beam of light vanished. Tigrismon floated in the air for a few seconds longer before falling to the ground.

In quick moves, Justimon jumped up and caught the small Digimon. He smoothly placed him in the hands of Joe. He then turned back to the battle at hand.

ChaosSeadramon was now outmatched. He stared down Vikemon, WarFabukimon, and Justimon. It was the first time he looked at his opposition nervously. His arrogance soon came back to him. He decided to just go ahead attack first.

"Same sardines, different cans! I'll still blow ALL OF YOU out of the water! RIVER BLAST!"

"Arctic Blizzard!"

Before the attack ChaosSeadramon released reached the Digimon, the entire lake froze over. Turning into freezing ice, the lake looked as if it was an ice skating ring. With ChaosSeadramon floating right in the middle of the lake, he was shocked to find his body becoming encased in ice, too. Even his River Blast attack had froze, the beam freezing right before it reached Vikemon, WarFabukimon, and Justimon.

The lake, the trees, even ChaosSeadramon and his attack were now frozen solid!

Justimon and WarFabukimon used that as their opportunity to move in for the kill. They unleashed their attacks.

Justimom shot towards the frozen stream in the air that was the River Blast attack. "Justice Kick!"

Revealing two cannons underneath his weaponized hands, WarFabukimon fired. "Snow Blitz Rage!" The cannons shot to powerful rays at ChaosSeadramon, along with a dozen smaller bullets shooting from the guns on his arms.

Vikemon wasn't done, yet, either. Just as WarFabukimon shot his attack, the circular spikes on his back shot out, heading right for ChaosSeadramon.

The combined forces of Justimon, WarFabukimon, and Vikemon had the desired effect on the frozen sea serpent. As soon as the attacks connected, the monster and his frozen River Blast attack broke into a million pieces before fading away in a burst of pixels.

Joe had seen some things in his day as DigiDestined, first dropping into the Digital World almost over ten years ago. He's seen his partner deliver some crushing blows before, but never anything like that. Whatever that apparition of Baihumon meant, he was glad it happened when it did. It made Joe's partner extremely powerful. So powerful that they were able to make very short work of ChaosSeadramon. It was a sight to behold.

"Joe!" Kazu shouted urgently behind him.

Coming out of his trance, Joe realized he had more imperative matters to attend to. Kazu and Kenta were running towards him, an unconsious Zoë being carried on Guardromon's back.

"She's not breathing!" Kenta added as they reached him.

Joe turned and saw Rika and Suzie tending to TK. He ran over to the two girls.

"He's not waking up," Rika remarked worriedly, looking up to Joe with hopeful eyes. Having studied for so long for his PhD, Joe knew how to handle such a situation. First, he lifted TK's arm, which was limp. Then he checked for a pulse.

Joe realized the situation was bad. Real bad. "Call a doctor!"
