Hello everyone. I'm back with another chapter. Before I say anything, I would like to take a moment to remember our great friend Monty Oum. Even though he may be gone, he has left so much for us. Anyway, I discovered that this story is now up to 200 favorites. Dang, I never thought it would get so high. It's all because of you guys though. Well with Weiss's birthday coming up, I wanted to make this chapter about that. I was hoping to get it finished in time and as you can see, I did with several days to spare. I finished it so early that I am already working on the next chapter. Well that's enough from me. I hope you guys enjoy.

A couple of months had passed and Team RWBY, along with the rest of Beacon, had already gotten back into the swing of things. It was about the middle of the day and Yang was currently in the school's library.

She groaned, "Where is this darn book? I know it has to be here. The librarian said that no one has checked it out. If I can't find it, Weiss is going to keep whining about it. Makes me wonder why she couldn't do it."

After she was done talking to herself, she heard a voice coming a few rows down. Figuring the person may need help, she walked over to see what was going on. When she arrived, she recognized the person immediately. It was Velvet, her rabbit Faunus friend from Team CFVY. Velvet seemed to be trying to reach a book on one of the higher shelves and was a bit too short to reach it herself. She jumped from time to time, but it still wasn't enough.

"Come on," she begged herself, "Please get it."

As she continued to reach for her desired book, Cardin seemed to appear out of nowhere and happened to walk by. Seeing Velvet, he decided to be his cruel self and happened to grab the book Velvet was reaching for. Instead of handing her the book, Cardin placed it on a shelf higher than the one it was on before.

"Freak," he said with a laugh as he walked off.

Seeing that now getting her book was hopeless, Velvet looked down at the ground, depressed. A couple of tears even fell from her eyes. Yang looked on feeling bad for the poor Faunus. She looked around the area and happened to spot an open chair not far from her. She smiled as an idea came to mind. She quickly went over and grabbed the chair and brought it back. With the chair in hand, Yang approached Velvet.

"Think you can use this?" Yang asked with a cheery smile.

Velvet looked up at Yang as if she was some sort of angel, "Yang…"

Yang placed the chair below where the book laid. Velvet quickly got up and used to the chair to reach the book she needed. When she was done, she jumped down and turned to Yang.

She smiled, "Thank you Yang. I don't think I could ever repay all the kindness you've shown me."

She waved her hand, "Don't worry about it."

After saying that, Yang couldn't help but notice the other book in Velvet's hands. It was the book that she was trying to find earlier. Her eyes widened as her target was in sight.

"Actually…" she began, "Do you think I could borrow that other book you're holding?" She asked as she pointed to the book.

Velvet pulled out the book and showed it to Yang, "This one?"

"Yeah, I was looking for it earlier, but I guess you got it. So do you think I could borrow it instead, please?"

"I would, but my team and I need it for some research."

Yang put her hands together, "Please Velvet, consider it as payback. Pleeease."

Velvet stood there for a second as she tried to make her decision. Before long a smiled formed on Velvet's face and she handed Yang the book.

"Okay, I guess I can tell Coco that someone else had already checked it out."

Yang quickly grabbed the book and put her arms around Velvet, "You're the best Velvet."

Velvet was surprised by the sudden action that she had no idea how to react. She only stood there as Yang continued to hug her. Soon Yang broke herself away and had a goofy smile on her face.

"Well I'll see you later okay? Thanks again Velvet," Yang said as she walked away.

Velvet gave a light wave back, "See you later."

Once she was gone, Velvet looked down at the book she still had and smiled, "It makes me happy knowing there are such good people."

A few more hours had gone by and Ruby was alone in the team's dorm room. She was looking though her scroll's calendar to see the upcoming due dates that Weiss had added to her team's scrolls. As she scrolled through each date, she came onto a date that caught her attention.

"Oh my God I almost forgot," she said, "Weiss's birthday is next week. I haven't even gotten her anything, nor have anything planned."

She jumped off her bed and began to scramble around the room, trying to come up with some sort of idea. Nothing came to mind right off the bat. She sat on Weiss's bed and tried to think some more. After thinking for a few minutes, an idea came to mind.

She gasped, "That could work." Before she got far, she said, "Then again, maybe not. I have no talent for that." As she thinking, she heard the door open to reveal Blake, who had returned from wherever she was.

"Good afternoon Ruby," she said, "I trust that you have been well?"

Seeing Blake gave her another idea, "Blake."

Ruby went up to Blake, who was confused on what Ruby was doing.

"Something wrong Ruby?"

"Blake…I want to ask a favor of you."

"And that is…?"

Ruby looked down at the ground, "Well the thing is…Weiss's birthday is coming up and I thought about making her a cake to celebrate. The thing is I have no talent in such things, so I was wondering if you would help me."

Blake smiled, "Of course. When is her birthday?"

"Next week."

"Well we'll get what we need the day before. Plus I'll have Yang distract Weiss for us while we get it all set."

"Thanks Blake. I really appreciate."

The following week came quickly and it was time to get what was needed. When both of them were done with classes for the day, Blake and Ruby decided to head for Vale to pick up the ingredients they would need for their cake. Meanwhile, Blake convinced Yang to help out by keeping Weiss distracted at the library or in any way possible.

Before leaving Blake went down the list one last time, "Okay, eggs?"

"Check," Ruby replied.

"Milk?"

"Check."

"Flour?"

"Check."

"Sugar, vanilla flavoring, icing, candles, and decorations?"

"Check, check, check, check, and check."

"Well that's everything. Let's hurry and head back."

Ruby nodded in agreement and the two quickly went back to Beacon. They could only hope that Yang could keep Weiss distracted enough to give them time to bake the cake, decorate it, and have in the room as a surprise. While walking back, Blake messaged Yang that Ruby and she were on their way back to Beacon and it was time to keep Weiss distracted.

Yang looked at her scroll and read Blake's message. After doing so, Yang jumped off her bed and went out to look for Weiss. Luckily, she knew where she would be. If she wasn't at the dorm, she was probably at the library doing research, studying, or some sort of academic activity. When she reached the library, she began to search for Weiss in hopes that her theory wasn't wrong.

With no luck downstairs, she continued her search on the second floor. Once she went upstairs, she quickly spotted Weiss in a corner of the library. Yang smiled knowing that her hunt was over. She decided to walk up to Weiss casually. To her surprise, Weiss did not seem to notice her. She assumed it was because she was so focused on her notes. When she was close enough, Yang rested her arms on Weiss.

"Sup Ice Queen," Yang greeted.

Irritated by Yang's action, she replied, "Get…Off…NOW!"

"Sheesh," Yang replied as she removed herself from Weiss's head.

"So are you here to distract me or is there something you want?"

A little bit of both actually, Yang thought.

"I was just in the area and figured you might be here."

Weiss looked at her scroll to the time. "Well you were right," she replied as she began to pack up.

"Where are you going?"

"I'm heading back to the dorm. You should come too. I'm sure Blake and Ruby are waiting for us there."

Before Weiss could leave, Yang grabbed her by the shoulder.

"Hang on a minute," Yang requested.

Weiss turned around, "What is it?"

"It's about Ruby."

Weiss only looked at her, still unsure of what she really wanted.

"I wanted to have…the talk with you."

Confused, Weiss asked, "The…talk?"

"Um, yeah," Yang answered, unsure of herself, "You know…like what I think about your relationship and all."

Weiss began to grow suspicious, "Why are you asking this now, of all time?"

"No reason. I figured that since you've already been dating for a few months, it'd be right to talk to you about it."

Weiss wasn't sure where Yang was going with this, but she decided to follow and sat back. Yang then sat across from her and began playing with her thumbs.

"So what did you want to talk about?"

"Well first off…I…trust it's been going well?"

"It has, yes."

"Good, good. You haven't done anything to hurt her have you?

Weiss had a shocked look on her face, "What in the right mind would make you think I would want to hurt Ruby?"

"Well…I know you can be…bitchy so…"

"Well people who get it are usually the ones who deserve it."

"So my sister deserved it that one time she came running in and out of our dorm?"

"Hey that…" Weiss began but stopped. "Well that was because I was scared to tell her how I felt."

Yang crossed her arms, "…I see."

"But I love Ruby now. You know that."

"Enough to show it though action?"

Weiss was extremely confused by the question, "Action?"

"Yeah…have you…you know?"

Weiss wasn't catching on.

"You know…" Yang said as she started to make some rather inappropriate gestures at her.

Weiss quickly realized what Yang was asking and turned a light shade of red, "What?! No, God no! W-why would you ask such a question?"

"I was just curious," Yang answered.

In reality, Yang actually was curious on the matter. Of course she would never straight up ask either Weiss or her sister. However, now was a better time than even. After that question, they stayed quiet as the awkwardness in the air started to thicken.

To add more to it, Yang asked, "Do you…want to do that?"

Weiss turned as red as Ruby's cape.

"Well…" Weiss began while squirming in her seat from starting to feel uncomfortable, "I've…thought about it. Ruby even tried to get us to do so a while back, but I told her I wasn't ready. Since then…I've been thinking about, and…maybe I'll talk to her about it soon."

Yang thought about what she said for a few seconds and replied, "Well Ruby is an understanding person. She'll wait until you're ready."

"Thanks, I guess," Weiss replied. "So what about you? Have you and Blake done it?"

Yang grew a surprised look, "This…this isn't about me. This is about you and Ruby."

"Hey, you asked me, so now I'm going to ask you."

Yang sighed, "Fair enough I suppose." She closed her eyes and took a few moments to gather her thoughts to form a proper answer. When she was ready, they opened, "First I'll say that Blake and I have never done it yet. However, we did agree to try it in a few months since then. We don't have an official date or anything, but we'll try it one day."

"Hmm," Weiss replied while she thought about Yang's words. She then looked at her scroll to see the time, "Well this has been a good talk. We should get back to the dorm. I'm sure Ruby and Blake are waiting for us."

Weiss was about to get up before Yang stopped her, "W-wait. Not just yet."

Weiss gave an irritated groan, "Come on Yang, we've been doing this for a little more than an hour. What more could you want to know?"

"Well…" Yang began.

Suddenly, Yang received a message on her scroll. She quickly opened it and saw that it was from Blake. She told her that the both of them were done and it was okay for Weiss to come back to the dorm.

"You know what, you're right. Let's head back."

Weiss looked at her suspiciously, but just wanted to go back to her dorm. The two of them left the library and began walking towards Team RWBY's dorm. It didn't take long for them to arrive. Knowing what lay ahead, Yang gave Weiss the honor of opening. When it was open, Weiss surprised that the room was dark.

"I guess Ruby and Blake must be out," Weiss said as she reached for the light.

Once she turned on the light, Ruby and Blake burst out from nowhere.

"SURPRISE!" They both yelled.

Weiss jumped from the sudden action of her teammates.

"W-what's this?" she asked, still confused.

Ruby grabbed the cake off the desk and showed it to Weiss, "Happy birthday Weiss."

"R-ruby," Weiss said as she began to blush, "You…remembered by birthday? But how did you even know? I never told you when it was."

"My scroll had your birthday saved, so I thought I would throw you a little party." She turned to Blake, "Of course I couldn't have done it without Blake."

"I'm happy to have helped," Blake replied.

Weiss turned to Yang, "You were in on this weren't you?"

Yang put her arm around Yang, "I may have had an idea about it."

Weiss then turned her attention back to Ruby and observed the cake that she and Blake had made for her. It was a fairly small cake, but it was large enough for the four of them to share. The white icing seemed to be poorly spread, which she assumed to have been Ruby's work. It also read "Happy Birthday Weiss" in red icing. Seeing that Ruby had gone through so much work just to make her happy meant a lot to her. She had celebrated so few of her birthdays, that it grew to a point where it was just another day to her. But not to Ruby it wasn't; this was something she knew was special and knew that Weiss should celebrate.

"Well before we eat this cake, perhaps we should get some dinner," Weiss suggested.

"Good idea. I'm starving," Yang said.

They all left the dorm and left for the dining hall.

Well that's all for now. I really hope you guys enjoyed it. If you did, please follow, favorite, and comment. I love to hear from you and enjoy hearing what can be done to improve this. Well, until next time.
