"Hi there!" - talking

*Ugh, why?* - thinking

"Dude, what the hell?" - speaking Al Bhed

My POV:

Before we decide to jump in any hole to find Shuyin, we decided to visit Zanarkand Ruins. "It's finally quieted down, huh?" Rikku said. We all approached the campfire. I went up to it and sat down in the exact place I sat back in Final Fantasy X. Christian put his hand on my shoulder.

"Well, I guess your memories are finally safe Yuna." Paine commented.

"Yeah. But... I have to learn to be stronger. Even places full of memories... Even a place like this can't last forever. I need to accept that." Yuna said.

"You want to not care?" Paine asked.

"That's not what I'm saying." Yuna replied.

"Just be yourself." Rikku said.

"I guess. Yeah, you're right." Yuna said.

"Do you see something?" Paine asked.

"Maybe." Yuna answered. We all boarded the Celsius and went to Besaid to see Vidina!

"Hey! It's a boy, you wanna meet him?" Wakka asked us once we arrived. We all nodded and ran to the village.

"Oh, he is so cute!" Rikku and I both exclaimed.

"Look at his hands! They're so tiny!" Yuna commented.

"Hey there little guy." Christian said.

"What do you think? He's cute, ya? Good thing he don't look like me." Wakka said. I just giggled and slapped his shoulder.

"Don't be silly. Look, he's got your mouth." Yuna retorted.

"You think so?" Wakka asked.

"What's his name?" I asked slyly.

"I think the Calm will end before Wakka make up his mind." Lulu teased.

"Well, you better decide soon." Yuna advised.

"No rushing, ya? Naming my son is my first important decision as a parent. Becoming a good father requires intense emotional preparation, ya?" Wakka said.

"Oh? And how long you planning on preparing Wakka?" Christian asked.

"Until, uh...my preparations are done, ya?" Wakka replied. I laughed and the couple left. We all went to the beach and met up with Beclem, who was preparing to leave.

"Has Wakka settled on a name for his kid?" Beclem asked.

"No, not yet." Yuna replied.

"Never could make up his mind." Beclem muttered. He was going to leave, but stopped for a moment. "I have something here. I'd like you to give it to him." Beclem said. "It's a memory of a war buddy. I'd give it to him myself, but... You understand." We received the sphere and a man said they'll be sailing shortly. A blitz ball fell near Beclem's foot and he expertly kicked it back to the Aurochs. When he was just about to board the boat, I ran up to him.

"Hey!" I shouted while panting. He turned to look at me. "I'm…sorry about saying all that bad stuff to you. You're not such a bad guy after all." I said while bowing. He smirked and walked over to me. He put his hand on top of my head.

"Well, then. Goodbye…..guardian from another world. I'm expecting you to be in tip top shape." he said. I straightened myself up and gave him a salute.

"Yes sir!" I shouted as he walked away with a small smile. I walked back to the group and we made our way to the village, but met up with Wakka. "What's the matter?" I asked.

"I thought I'd go say goodbye to Beclem." Wakka replied.

"He's already gone." Yuna answered. We gave Wakka the sphere and played it. The sphere turned out to be of Chappu and after we were done watching it, we agreed to stay until nightfall. When it was nightfall, we all gathered around the fire.

"Well you probably know why I called you all here, huh? I'd like to introduce the newest member of Besaid Village." Wakka announced.

"We already met him!" Datto exclaimed.

"So you picked a name yet?" Botta asked.

Jassu exclaimed, "Don't tell me this is a brainstorming session!" I giggled.

Wakka replied with a huff, "Like I'd do something like that! I chose a name. His name is Vidina. Everybody take good care of him, ya?" Christian and I smirked. How ironic. At first, Wakka was racist against Al Bhed and now look at him, his baby's name is in Al Bhed. We all congratulated Wakka and Lulu on their newborn baby. "I always try to cram myself into some kinda mold, you know? A blitzer, or a guardian, or a follower of Yevon... And now, a father. I always get so wound up about what I should be. But you know, in the end I'm just me. Anyway, I can't keep coming up with new Wakkas all the time, eh? So it looks like I'll just have to start doing things my way. That's the way I'll write our story."

"Hang in there, Dad." Yuna and I both said. I patted his shoulder.

"Sin was nothin' compared to diaper changing, ya?" Wakka commented. I laughed.

"I know how you feel Wakka. I had to do that with my little brother when he was just a little baby." I said.

"Wanna babysit?" he asked me. I just shook my head and laughed.

"Maybe with Christian, he has a younger sister too you know." A little while later, we all hid and listened to Wakka and Lulu talking.

"Hey. Sorry it took me so long to decide on a name, Lu." Wakka apologized.

Lulu replied, "It's all right. I knew it would be worth the wait. I had faith."

"You? Had faith in me?" Wakka asked, surprised.

"Wakka, we're in this together. Whether you see it or not, I really do rely on you." Lulu replied.

"Guess I'd better not drop the ball, ya?" Wakka said.

"You won't." Lulu answered.

"They're in their own little world." Rikku and I said quietly.

"Come on." Paine said.

"Let's not bother them." Yuna and Christian said.

"But…." I protested silently. Yuna just smiled and patted my head, motioning me to go. I just nodded and we all quietly went back to the Celsius.
