Hello! I did a revamp on the first 17 chapters of this story. Things are really different, so check it out sometime. XD

Aria's P.o.v.

'Chink! Chink! Chink!'

One by one, the pile of grey ender pearls grew larger. I sighed as I pressed yet another ender pearl against Arella's hand. I waited for the swirling green orb to dull and turn grey before tossing it in the already massive pile of ender pearls. The current goal with the pearls was to give Arella back the energy that she so desperately needs. And to do that, she was draining the energy from ender pearls.

I was distracted from grabbing another pearl by a loud groan coming from Arella. I frowned sadly as I put the pearl back in it's bag with all the others. I had been doing this for an hour so far- long enough that my actions were starting to get mechanical. It was fun though, I was getting very good at my aim.

Peering over at Arella's face revealed fluttering eyelids. Smiling victoriously, I waited for Arella to fully wake up. "Please tell me you got the rental number on that horse that trampled me." Arella groaned to me. Stifling a snicker, I started speaking.

"Hey your awake! And it took like, what, 63 ender pearls to drag you out of dreamland." I mused. "All joking aside, you do realize that you gave me quite a scare when I found you Arella." I said, glancing at the 'admittedly' messy pile of pearls thrown in the corner of the room.

"Sorry, I didn't expect to find a wither skeleton's severed head in the bottom of that forest temple." She snarked. I froze.

"Arella, did this wither skeleton head have a crown?" I asked, feeling unease build up in the back of my mind.

"Yes, it did. It was there for one second, and the next it was gone. I remember feeling cold and drained when it disappeared." Arella recalled.

I stared at her in horror. My mind flashed back to the head that I found in the ocean monument, feeling dread fill my mind. I remembered the anger, the hatred that I felt in the vision, the blue eyes that stared seemingly into my very soul.

I forced my expression to change, knowing that Arella probably shouldn't get stressed out so soon after waking up. I feared she would lapse back into babbling again. "Hey, why do you ask?" Arella questioned.

Forcing a reassuring smile, I spoke again. "I was just curious Arella. I'm pretty sure that everything is going to be just fine. For now at least..." I trailed off, gears rapidly turning in my head. That makes two, I thought. I had to talk to Herobrine about what was happening. Smiling at Arella, I spoke up. "Hey, you must be hungry. I will go and get you some fruit, and maybe some hot coco." With that, I left the guest room.

Grumbling quietly to myself, I took the stairs down to the kitchen. After the incident with my passing out, Herobrine had forbidden me from teleporting for a least a few days. It wouldn't have been a big deal if our house didn't have so many floors to it.

Opening the door to the kitchen revealed Herobrine holding up what looked to be a bottled purple silverfish. Having noticed me enter the room, Herobrine motioned me over to him. I walked over, staring at the little bottled creature with interest. "Aria, have you heard of endermites?" He questioned, an amused tone coloring his voice.

"No, but I'd imagine it would have something to do with enderman." I replied, taking the bottle from Herobrine's hands. "Is that what this cute little thing is?" I questioned, holding up the little critter up to my eyes.

Herobrine hastily snatched the bottle back out of my hands. "Aria yes, this is an endermite. However, it's a parasite to enderman." With that, I backed away from the bottle.

"So how dangerous is that thing?" I questioned, feeling anxious.

"Right now it's harmless." Herobrine said placing the mite on the kitchen table. "I don't know it it can teleport Aria, so it would be best if you keep your distance from it. After all, they are attracted to ender pearl energy.

Gasping in mock horror, I put my hand over where my ender pearl should be located. I fluttered my eyelashes and made a cute face at Herobrine. Herobrine laughed and walked over and pecked me on the lips. "Your too cute!" He said, stroking my hair affectionately. I smiled, and leaned over and kissed Herobrine again. Pulling back, I started talking.

"Herobrine, we have a problem." I said, seriousness infused in my tone. Herobrine raised his eyebrows at me.

"What's the problem?" He questioned. I sighed and explained what had happened to both Arella and I.

"This is terrible news Aria. Withers don't hate things from the End for no reason. Their greedy, power hungry things that love to drain the life out of anything. Not only are they jealous that enderman can generate their own energy, but they steal that energy from an enderman's pearl. The only bright side is, the Wither Queen was raised like a thousand years ago by three royal enderman. Which means that neither you nor Arella can fuel the last head with energy."

Seeing my confused expression, Herobrine decided to elaborate. "The Wither Queen, unlike normal Withers can only draw it's energy from things of the End that have blood connections to the Ender dragon. Each head is powered by only one End being, which makes it hard to raise, but extremely dangerous as for the ones who had a hand in making it. In the past, the Wither absorbed the soul of one of the royal enderman, ripped the body of that enderman's brother away from it's soul to create the base for her mate."

I nodded, then frowned. "What happened to the last royal enderman?" I questioned.

"The last enderman royal, was the youngest of the three. It was their baby sister who became so distraught about the death of her siblings that she merged her life force with the last head of the wither and then ripped out her ender pearl and smashed it, killing both herself and the Wither Queen. In doing so, she set all the souls free from the Wither Queen, but was cursed with being reincarnated with a shared soul with it. It was said in the past that the Ender Dragon ate the remains of the Wither Queen, which ensured that it would never come back to life."

"Wait, where did this take place Herobrine?" I questioned, as I walked over to the fridge and pulled out various fruits to be cut up.

"From what Notch told me when I was a kid, he said that it happened in the End dimension, where the wither skeletons and enderman used to live together. But when that event took place, the wither skeletons were banished to the Nether with the soul-less body of the second enderman royal. I don't know much else about it though, you will have to talk to Notch if you want the full story." Herobrine concluded, frowning at his lack of information. He then grinned. "I don't think the Wither King can be raised, seeing as not only are all the royals in the End dead, but the next closest thing to them are you and Arella. And for the record, you two were the only ones attacked by that enderman."

I smiled, relieved at the news. Cobbling together a fruit dish for Arella, I reached over to the pot of freshly crafted hot chocolate and poured Arella a glass. Herobrine took notice of what I was doing and helped me carry the items to Arella's room.

...

After giving Arella food, she appeared to be good enough to get up and walk. I turned to Herobrine and asked if I could teleport the both of us to Steve's house. Herobrine looked like he was going to say no, but he took one look at my begging expression and caved. "All right Aria. Please be careful and don't teleport more then you need to. I don't want you sick again." He said.

I squealed and raced over and hugged Herobrine. Giving him a kiss on the cheek, I ran back over and took Arella's hand. Within seconds, the both of us were standing at Steve's front door.

I knocked on the door, hearing a muffled "One second!"

Moments later, the door was opened by Steve, who looked like he was covered in gold flakes. Arella looked at me then at Steve and raised an eyebrow. "Do I even want to ask Steve?" I quipped.

Steve, to his credit had the good sense to look mildly embarrassed about his current state. "Me and Ender were creating gold nuggets for his smithing shop. Honest!" He said.

I snickered, and pulled Arella to my old room, rustling around and pulling out a cute sundress that I never really wore. "Here, this should fit you nicely Arella. Go on and keep it too, I never really wore it."

"Thanks Aria. For everything." Arella said, sounding grateful. I simply smiled and told her that I was going to get a clean brush and some hair products for her.

...Meanwhile... in Ender's P.o.v.

"YEOUCH!" I squealed, as Steve accidentally dropped a gold bar on my foot. I glared at Steve, who gave me an apologetic smile. Rolling my eyes, I teleported out from under the gold bar, and took a seat in the chair next to the crafting table, holding up my foot to inspect the damage. To my relief, nothing was broken. I grumbled quietly as Steve grabbed a healing potion to hand to me. I took the offered potion and began sucking it down, waiting for it to kick in. Just as I felt the pain in my foot fade away, Aria came down the stairs with Arella, who looked super cute in her pink sundress. She had her hair styled so that it framed her face.

I smiled at Arella, and winked. Arella blushed and then giggled at Steve's appearance. I listened as Steve told Aria about an issue in a mining area with strange noises. While Steve was filling in the details I stared at Arella. Was it just me, or did she look cuter when shes smiling?

Aria said something about checking it out while Arella walked over to the bookshelf and picked out a book to read. I was snapped out of my staring when Steve dropped yet another bar on my foot. Thankfully, this time it was only iron.

"Steve!" I snarled, as I reached down and pulled the bar off of my foot. Aria smiled and waved then teleported, disappearing from view. Steve sighed and dragged me out to the brewing room.

"So... why don't you ask her out?" Steve questioned, with a casual look on his face. I sputtered and turned red as I grasped for an answer.

"I don't like her like that!" I said defensively. This made Steve give me a dirty look.

"Well you could've fooled me with the way you were staring at Arella. Honestly, she's not that much younger then you. She's like what, two years younger then you." Steve said.

I groaned, face palming. "Was I that obvious?" I questioned, fearing the answer.

"Ender, a blind man could have seen you had the hots for her. Ask her out on a date. Or if your feeling like that's not her thing, then why don't you suggest exploring one of those desert temples with her. I hear there's a hidden room somewhere in them filled with treasure."

I smiled. I might just do that.

Aria's Pov

"Alright Steve, I'm here. Lets see what was making all that racket behind this wall. I teleported behind the stone wall, and came face to face with a cave spider.
