Castiel's POV

Why is this so hard? I wrestle with my tie as I try to put it on properly. Today is supposed to be the greatest day of my life and I am struggling with my tie. I can feel my heart beating in my chest and butterflies fluttering in my stomach, why am I so nervous?

Lost in my own thoughts I did not notice the hands that reached up to my tie.

"It's alright to be nervous."I look down at the face of a smiling blonde. "I remember the feeling."

"Jess, why am I feeling this way?"

"It is because you are about to make a big step in your life and you have no idea where it leads. Cas you love Dean and this is the moment you have waited for and know that it's here you are overly excited to see what will happen. You will be fine." Jess kisses my cheek before finishing the tie. "There, now you are ready."

"Thank you."

"No problem. This is good for you, both of you."

"I know." I smile and pull Jess into a hug.

"Now it's time to get started." I nod before taking one more look in the mirror. I decided against a suit. I wear dress pants with a grey dress shirt and a black vest. My tie is green. I can't believe I am doing this. I am about to marry Dean Winchester.

"I am ready."

"Alright, I will let everyone know."

"Thanks Jessica." She nods and heads out. I feel butterflies in my stomach. I take a deep breath as the door opens.

Immediately my nervous fade when I meet the eyes of the man of my dreams. I smile and he smiles back. I remember the first time I fell in love with that smile and I love it even more now. The distance between us rapidly decreases.

Grasping Dean's hand, he pulls me into his side. "I am so ready for this, ready for us."

"I am too." Then we give our attention to Pastor Jim.

"Castiel Novak, you may now say your vow."

"I, Castiel Novak, promise to love and care for you. I will treasure every minute with you. I promise to be there even when things are tough. Past mistakes and issues are forgotten for I want to start fresh. I will love you 'till I die and I can't wait for our future." Deans smile widens.

"Dean Winchester, you may now say your vow."

"Castiel Novak, every time I see you I care for you even more. The first time I saw you I fell hard. You don't know this but whenever I am with you my insides burn because I am beyond happy and am hopelessly in love with you. Sometimes I wonder how you could love me, but you do and that is amazing. You are exceptional. I promise to treasure that. Castiel you are so special and unique and I wish the world could see that. I promise to love you for all these aspects and more, you have so much to give and I am honored to be able to explore it with you."

I feel the tears roll down my face at the importance of his words.

"I love you Castiel Novak."

"I love you too, Dean Winchester."

"Now do you Castiel Novak take Dean Winchester to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do, with my whole being, I do."

"And do you Dean Winchester take Castiel Novak to be your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"Then you may…" Before Jim could finish Dean pulls me into a kiss. I melt into it knowing this is my first kiss as Castiel Winchester.

I had so much trouble writing this chapter, so I am sorry it is short. Thanks for reading and please review.
