"Good Luck Evan." Danny smiled, patting Evan on the back as he walked into the Doctor's room.

Evan glanced back, nodding with a reassuring smile, before a young woman, obviously an assistant closed the door. Danny exhaled heavily, placing his hand over his mouth as he watched the door, praying for X-Ray vision. His thoughts only broke as a hand fell upon his back.

"He'll be oright you know." Alice whispered, "He's a good boy, deep down."

"Oh Alice." Danny breathed, taking her by the hand and sitting her down upon the plush leather chairs. "I know he's a good lad, but I'm still worried about him. I'm scared, scared we'll say something or do something that'll set him back."

"That's why he's here, to learn how to cope with that. Life holds many surprises Danny, we can't control everything." Alice murmured, running her thumb over his knuckles. "We just have to be brave - like Evan is being."

Danny nodded mutedly, losing himself in his thoughts - Alice was right, if Evan could be brave, so could he.

"Danny." Alice said. He didn't reply, still lost in his thoughts, "Oi, Daydreamer." She smirked nudging him.

"Sorry darling, what is it?" He asked gently. "I was thinking."

"Thought I smelt burning." She teased, "What are we going to do with Mara? It can't just sit there."

"I don't know... We could run it." Danny suggested. "I know it's different to Leopards Den, but Caroline needs a focus."

"But Mara? It's a huge focus." Alice laughed, "Plus we'll have to hire staff."

"Hmm..." Danny murmured, "We could rent it again, but we'd have to be a bit more careful."

"You don't say..." Alice sighed, "Wait. That is it."

"What's it?"

"The house is a little full..." Alice murmured.

"I'm not moving to Mara!" Danny squeaked.

"Not us you idiot." Alice laughed, "But Rosie, Dylan... Liv, Thabo..."

"Liv and Thabo might not even be-" He stopped short at the expression upon his wife's face. "We could suggest it, but they'll have to pay rent. Mara must provide income for us."

"We'll offer it to them first." Alice replied, "Then if we don't have any luck, we'll discuss other options."

Danny smiled, she always had a plan.

"Liv, I want us to be honest... with the family." Thabo said in his gentle quiet tone as the pair sat on the veranda.

"What?" Liv asked.

"I want to know you're serious... tell your family." Thabo murmured, pulling away slightly from her and sitting forward, playing with his hands. "I want this to work."

"Gran-"

"Don't use your Gran as an excuse." Thabo said, "Please Liv."

"I'm scared..."

"Of?"

"Their reaction." Liv admitted, "And, what are we going to do? Where will we live?"

"We'll work that out." Thabo shrugged, "Tonight."

"Can we at least tell Danny and Alice first? Liv bargained, "It is there house..."

"Fine... just, you do want the family to know?" Thabo asked, in his coy manner.

"Of course I do." Liv whispered, taking his face into her hands and kissing his lips softly. "You're the one." Liv smiled, stroking his cheek before kissing him softly once more. "It's taken me far too long to realise it, but we are meant to be together. I can't say I regret my time with Fatani, I didn't... but it fades in comparison to the time we spend together and what I do regret, is ever leaving you."

Thabo smiled, stroking her cheek before setting a reasonable distance between them. Liv glanced up and noticed Danny, Alice and Evan approaching in the Jeep. Evan jumped out, looking happier than he had in months, and Danny and Alice also seemed remarkably happy.

"I'm gonna catch a movie!" Evan called, "Thanks for today." He added, before heading inside as Danny and Alice paused for a moment just below the steps of the veranda.

"That went well." Danny breathed, his tone one of relief.

"Of course it did, Evan is a fine young man." Alice replied, leaning into his side as Thabo and Liv appeared at the top of the veranda. She glanced up, smiling at them warmly as both descended the stairs.

"Can we talk to you?" Liv asked quietly, signaling to the swimming pool before walking there, the others in pursuit. As they arrived, she turned facing Danny and Alice, with Thabo stood by her side. An awkward silence took over as Liv struggled to find the words to form a coherent sentence, as Thabo pondered whether he should attempt to voice such opinions.

"I... We... Well..."

"Congratulations." Alice smiled. "Anyone can see..." She added at their bewildered expressions which slowly turned into laughter. "We're glad you've both found happiness with one another."

"Thanks... but it means, well... we're looking to move out." Liv said, taking Thabo's hand. "We want to make a real go of it. We don't want to move far, and we'll visit everyday but..."

"Liv!" Danny laughed, breaking her ramble, "Calm down, Alice and I already have a solution."

"You do?" Thabo asked, unsurely.

"Break up?" Liv suggested.

"University?" Thabo added.

"Travel?" Liv added more hopefully.

"No." Alice shook her head, "Whilst we were waiting for Evan, we were talking about the future of Mara and Leopards Den. Now, we don't want to leave this place, and the question about Mara arose. That's when we realised, there's two young couples who need to find their feet. You'll have to pay a bit of rent, and look after the place and let your Gran manage it with you, but Mara is there for both you two and Rosie and Dylan if you want it. There's room enough for both of you..."

Liv and Thabo stood in silence, their mouths slightly open as the magnitude of what was being offered to them registered. Danny stood awkwardly, watching his wife, who had clasped her hands together in anticipation. Slowly the young couple turned to one another, smiling slowly but surely and with one look making a firm agreement about their future.

"We... We'd love to." Thabo grinned.

"Thank you... I'm a little lost for words." Liv admitted.

"Then say nothing." Danny smiled, hugging his daughter and then shaking Thabo's hand. "Anyway, you're doing Alice and I a favour!" He chuckled, "You're not opposed to us asking Rosie?"

"Of course not, but tell her we've bagsy the West Wing!" Liv exclaimed laughing before she dashed off dragging Thabo with her, already making plans for their future.

"One down... one to go... Shall we find Rosie?" Danny sighed.

"Danny-"

"Don't Alice. She's no doubt going to think this means I accept what she did, and I don't..."

"Danny, it's happened." Alice sighed.

"Unfortunately." He murmured before rushing into the house.
