Dear all American Railway Series Readers,

I know those of you who follow this story are wondering where the next chapter is. Unfortunately it is with much sadness that I must announce the End of the American Railway Series. When I started this series nearly two years ago, I envisioned it to be much longer than this. I wanted it to be broken up into two series (One in the past and one in modern day) and introduce a lot more characters. However, writing for the series just isn't fun anymore. Writing for fun is why I write my stories in the first place. So while I'm not satisfied with the last chapter being the end, I think it passes the test just enough.

However, this does not mean you won't ever see new ARS material again. I am hoping to write a Christmas short story this year as well as a small story broken into parts as well. And I am currently working on something BIG for this series. It won't be ready for a LONG time, but I hope to one day get it to you.

Now I would like to thank all the readers who read and reviewed this story. I want to thank all of those who sent in ideas for characters I could never have thought up. But I want to thank fellow writer D.J. Scales for all the work he has put in in helping me write this series. His ideas and stories will always be some of the best this series had to offer.

Well it looks like that's all I can say on this matter. Thanks for the views and I'll see you later!
