Okay, wow, here it is. The official drabble of Halloween 2016.

Enjoy, my awesome followers! And Happy, Happy Harvest!

There was a fuss stirring about in the Town Square again. It was Halloween night after all, so a grand celebration was not out of the ordinary.

But there was someone new in their midst, and that of course just set everyone's curious streak on fire.

Sally was hailed soon afterwards by Lock; the devil child grumbling something about an unexpected visitor approaching the main gates and that it was King Jack who sent him here quick to fetch her.

Once in plain sight, Sally took her normal position at Jack's side. He welcomed her briefly with a hand on resting on her shoulder and they both regarded the stranger currently standing before them. He stared back at them as well, equally bewildered and lost for words. Though he didn't seem frightened...rather just caught up in the moment. He was not old in Sally's opinion. His wild dark patch of hair gave him a certain boyish charm. The rest of him was pale-faced, slender, and dressed in black garbs from another land. The most intriguing part? The boy owned long silver blades for hands.

"Come here, my boy," Jack finally said, encouraging him to step forward for a better look.

The boy obeyed without a single compliant, clear wonder shining in his eyes. His head turned side to side, taking everybody else in before he focused intently on Sally. He made two more hasty steps in her direction, admiring her features.

Sally blinked, long lashes fluttering. The boy points at her face with his dominate blade. "You're like me," he acknowledged, voice soft and innocent. There was almost a grin. "You look like me."

(He was referring to Sally's stitching scars left there on her skin by the Doctor. He had scars, too. Not of the same kind, but his smooth flesh scars were very visible nonetheless.)

"His blood smells strange," a vampire muttered somewhere in the background. His fellow monsters beside him agreed while Emily the Corpse Bride begged to differ, saying, "Well, I think he's quite handsome. I like his voice too. Exactly my type."

"This is Sally," Jack informed him penitently, quieting the others down as though he was a tutor speaking to his pupils. "My wife, and Queen of the Dolls. Who are you?"

He boy paused, dwelling over the matter. "I suppose people have called me Edward."

"Why are you here, Edward?" Sally asked him then. She sounded calm, although she was indeed concerned for this boy's well being in that moment. He wasn't dead or even undead. He was walking around with a beating heart and a working pulse. But he wasn't exactly what one would call normal either. He was...a rare specimen to behold that's for sure. "Are you alone?"

"Everyone I knew before has...long since died. Only I remained and I had nothing left in my hometown. So, eventually I left. Just like that. I traveled very far, and I happen to come across this unique woods. I walked and walked deeper into the trees for days...until I saw these other trees, with doors on them. I opened one...then was I falling down...down into darkness...and it led me to you."

Jack hummed with amusement. "So that explains it. He found the Holiday Circle and opened the door to Halloween."

"There are several door there," Sally mentioned, inquiringly, not taking her eyes off Edward who paid her the same curtsey. "What made you pick the jack o' lantern shaped door?"

"It was the only one that smiled back at me. I found it comforting."

Sally smiled herself. "Well, you're quite welcome to stay here from now on if you wish." She reached out and examined his blades with a motherly sort of pride. "You know...you'd be a great sewing assistant!"

So I wanted to do something a little more special this time since it is Halloween night, of course. And then it hit me. I haven't cross-overed NMBC with Edward Scissor Hand yet. Yeah. I had to do that at least once.

...I can just picture Edward and Sally sitting together on a lazy dark afternoon in the tower, at her sewing station amongst her spools and threads, while he cuts for her and Sally weaves. Plus...Emily's bound to get a crush on Edward with him sounding so much like Victor and all. Lol, wink wink.
