Bwahahaha! HAHAHAHAHA! Sorry, I just had to laugh at what Johnny-Spectre said. I honestly regret not having Link challenge Lullaby to a flute-off... Well, a bit late for that. Anyway, we now transiton into chapter 29.
Chapter 29
Imprisonment
Makarov had successfully gotten ahold of someone from the Magic Council, and managed to get Lullaby resealed, this time with better security. Kageyama was only taken into custody for a few months, as all he really did was steal, and most of the Fairy Tail mages present vouched for him. Natsu was the only one who didn't, mainly because he still didn't forgive him for trying to take Makarov's life.
Besides, there was something else he was worried about.
He challenged Erza to a fight, and by God, he was gonna get it.
Just as soon as she healed, that is. She took a huge hit from a giant Demon Flute, and Link was still taking care of her. She had a broken arm and a few cracked ribs, and Link didn't have enough money to send for a red potion or two from Hyrule. Therefore, he had one remaining option.
Porlyusica.
Porlyusica was a medical genius, and one of Fairy Tail's health advisers. By one of, I mean only. Link rode Epona though Magnolia's East Forest, keeping an eye out for the healer's house. He had never been there before, so this would be a first for him.
He had asked Makarov what he should know about her, and the one thing he made clear was that she despised humans. Of course, he didn't really care. He wasn't a typical human, or even a normal Hylian for that matter. He never really understood it, but he felt a bit of an animalistic side to himself.
He caught sight of the only house for miles and sarcastically said to himself, "Hmm, I wonder if this is it? I mean, it seems about right, but look at the location!"
He silenced a small chuckle he helped Erza off Epona and fed his mare a carrot.
"You can wander, but stay in the area. Alright Epona?"
He swore Epona nodded to him, but wouldn't doubt it. Epona understood human speech, evident by when Gray insulted her and recieved a solid kick to the face.
He helped Erza to the door and knocked. He heard a muffled 'I'm coming' from the other side. He waited for a few moments and heard somelocks being undone, and the door opened. Porlyusica was a tall woman, not as tall as Link, but tall nonetheless. She had red eyes and pink hair held up into a bun with two bangs framing either side of her face, which was mildly wrinkled. She wore a cloak with a high red collar that possesed some sort of frills around the rim, and brandished a broom at him.
"What do you want?"
He gestured to Erza, who smiled weakly. "She was injured in a fight, and Makarov told me you were the best person to see for he-"
Before he couls finish, he found himself having a broom broken over his head.
"That was my only broom! And why does Makarov always insist on sending his sick and injured to me?!"
"Ah, he gave me a note in case you said that."
He snapped his fingers and Requipped a note in Makarov's handwriting and handed it to Porlyusica.
Dear Porlyusica,
I know how it must be a burden for me to send those who need medical help to you, but understand that I only do so because you are the only person who I would trust with my own life. As such I would want you to be the one to take care of my children. That, and the fact that you don't charge, and we're already in debt...
Sincerely, Makarov.
"Old cheapskate! He only does this because I don't need money from him..."
"Oh, and in case you said that, Volga gave me this one."
He handed her a second note.
Deal with it.
-Volga
"Hmph. At least I know who I can refuse now. Fine, bring her in."
He nodded thankfully and helped Erza in, setting her down on the bed that Porlyusica gestured to.
"What's wrong with her?"
"She recieved a broken arm and cracked ribs from a creature attack."
"This is Titania, correct? Must have been some monster."
"It was. I had to resort to my Goddess Spells to take it down."
"What of your wounds then?"
"Oh, I wasn't injured."
Porlyusica blinked in surprise. A creature managed to do this to Erza, yet he escaped without so much as a scratch? And he defeated it on his own?
"I have some herbs outside that wll work. Now boy, go make yourself useful and got get the ones on this list."
She held out a list for him, though he kindly said no thank you.
"For the first 8 years of my life, I was raised in a forest devoid of any form of advance medical devisces. I know my way around a garden."
As he went outside, Porlyusica went over to Erza.
"Alright, I'm going to move your arm, and you tell me if it hurts."
She adjusted her arm in several different orientations, most of which getting a whimper out of Titania.
"Yep, that's broken alright. And he said your ribs were cracked?"
She felt beneath Erza's chest, once again with moans of pain, though they were noticably quieter.
"Not broken, but cracked," she said in agreement. "I suppose the male was correct. How are you feeling, Scarlet?"
"It hurts, but not too much."
"Hm. Then once I set the bones and give you the herbs, you can leave."
Erza nodded in understanding. She had dealt with the healer before, and she absolutely hated the company of humans.
Link walked back in then carring an assortment of herbs, and to Porlyusica's surprise, they were all the exact ones she needed, and then some extra ones.
"I only told you to grab the herbs that would speed bone repair, what reason do you have for the extra ones?"
"These are for easing pain. I thought they'd be helpful."
"Very well. I'll make a salve for her to use to easy her pain."
She took the herbs to the next room to make Erza's medicine while Link sat down next to Erza on the bed.
"Are you feeling alright? You took quite a hit."
"I'm fine, thanks to you. You've always been ready to help me no matter the circumatances... Thank you."
"I could say the same about you, Erza."
They remained sitting there in silence for a bit until they both tried to speak, causing both to apologize to each other.
"You go first."
"No, you."
"Well, Link, how about aftef this, we take a vacation? we've been working for a while, and we deserve a break."
"Hehe. That's what I was going to say."
Link felt someting and looked down, only to see that Erza had subconciously taken hold of his hand.
"E-Erza..."
She looked down and saw it too, and quickly scooted away, blushing.
"I-I'm sorry... My hand acted on its own."
"No, no, it's quite alright."
He gave her a warm, genuine smile and she couldn't help but smile back. Given how rare they were, it made sense that they made her smile.
Porlyusica returned with two different bowls, one for Erza's arm and ribs, the other to ease pain.
"Move it, boy, I need to take care of the girl's arm."
He did as she said and stood of to the side, allowing Porlyusica to get the room she needed.
"Boy, take her hand. She'll need something to hang on to."
He did as she said, again, and took Erza's hand in his.
"Get ready Scarlet, this will hurt. 3..."
Link felt Erza tense up.
"2..."
Erza's grip tightened.
"1..."
"Get ready, Erza."
"Go!"
She quickly set Erza's bone, and as she did, She squeezed Link's hand with enough force to break anyone else's hand.
"O-Ow..."
"It's over. You're done."
Erza nodded and lessened her grip on Link's hand, but didn't let go.
"I have two salves, one to accelerate your healing process, the other to soothe your current pain."
She nodded and released Link's hand to rub both of the salves on her arm, and after a minute or two, the burning pain in her arm had subsided to nothing more than a simple sting.
"Well, you certainly know how make medication, Porlyusica. And Link, I never knew you had such a way with herbs. Anyway, thank you both."
"Anyway, take those with you, but send the bowls back! The bone should be fine in an hour or so with that salve. Now, get out of my house."
"Ah, before we leave, may I have an apple for my horse? Other than carrots, they are her favoritre food."
"You own a horse?"
"Yes, she should be outside. Would you like to meet her?"
Poryusica tried to say no, but she loves horses. She walked outside after grabbing an apple from the bowl and looking for a minute. She soon found Epona munching on grass nearby.
"By God, she's beautiful.
Epona heard Porlyusica and backed away, but she stopped and walked to her when she saw she had a apple.
"Why hello, care for an apple?"
Epona shyly took the aple from Porlyusica and backed away, keeping her distance. Satisfied by her innocence, Porlyusica returned inside.
"Alright, now both of you, leave."
Link nodded and helped Erza onto Epona's back and made their way to the guild hall.
"So, about you grabbing my hand back there..."
"I swear, my had did it of its own free will!"
"Oh, I understand."
"You do?"
"Of couse! I believe I even heard what it said! 'Ah, here's my chance to embarass Scarlet and get to now the hand of this handsome man.' I'd keep an eye on that hand of yours, Erza, it has the mind of an evil genius!"
Erza laughed pretty hard at that She nver knew Link told jokes.
"Anyway, how does your arm feel?"
She rotated and bet her arm to find that it was essentally healed.
"Fine, actually."
"Good. Natsu will be waiting."
"Why would Natsu be... Oh, of course, he challenged me before we left. I'll be ready."
He nodded and kept Epona going. He didn't know who was going to win, but it was going to be a great fight.
OOO
Volga finally returned from his Volcanic Devils job a few days ago, and brought back a new friend.
By friend I mean a Fire Wyvern named Draco. (1)
It turns out that he didn't need to kill it to do his job, just get it out of the volcano. He found it cool, so he didn't want to kill it, especially since it was like a tiny dragon that didn't eat magic to summon.
Draco was absolutely massive, standing at 5 feet tall at the shoulders and weighing over 4,000 pounds, making it bigger than Epona. It's body was around 12 feet long with a 6 foot long tail, meaning if you were to walk behind Draco, it may accidentally break your legs. It had black skin wih a red underbelly with a gray plate over its head made of stone that was harder than bedrock, red claws and red spikes running down its back, and golden eyes. The beast looked terrifying, giving people even more of a reason to fear Volga.
Like they needed one in the first place.
I mean think about it, Volga was 7'4", weighed 400 pounds, possessed the ablity to turn into a dragon, and had enough strength to hold up Draco like it were nothing.
"I swear to you guys, if you find a Vocanic Devil, take it home. They are like the best pets ever; they don't need to eat much 'cause they can just sunbathe, they're super loyal, and just look at the thing."
Lana, Levy, and Lucy all turned to look at Draco, who was currently overpowering Natsu and lying down on top of him for his body heat.
"He's so cool, and he breathes fire."
Natsu wasn't very happy about his predicament.
"SOMEONE GET THIS THING OFF ME! I CAN'T BREATHE!"
Draco merely snorted smoke at the Fire Dragon Slayer, who was doing a horrible job at besting a creature that used the same element as him.
"Draco, down," commanded Volga.
Draco did as he said and lazily got off of Nasu who took a very rewarding breath.
"Volga?"
"What?"
"Why didn't you do anything earlier to help me?"
"Cause it was funny, Goddesses damnit. Eh, flame face, you hungry?"
"Is that even a question that you need me to answer?"
"Shut up. Draco, give him a bite."
Draco complied and breathed fire for Natsu, who's eyes glittered with happiness as he downed the fire.
"Oh my God, that was delicious. Better than most fire I've had."
"Natsu, he's a Fire Wyvern that makes its home in a volcano. What part of that made you think it would have bad fire?" asked Lana.
Natsu put on the most serious face he could muster and said, "I don't know."
All girls present facepalmed.
"Natsu, smetimes we question if you have a brain. We always say maybe, and then you do something stupid enough for us to doubt ourselves," said Lana.
Natsu was about to attempt to say something witty, but stopped when he heard the doors open. Link and Erza walked back in, and Natsu took notice of how Erza was completely healed.
"ERZA, FIGHT ME, NOW!" screamed Natsu.
Link merely pointed outside. "Not in here, you idiot."
Natsu's flames calmed a bit as he walked outside, scourching the floorboards as he left.
"NOW, WE BATTLE, TITANIA! THE FAIRY QUEEN VERSUS THE DRAGON! WHO SHALL PREVAIL?!"
Evryone who heard that sweatdropped at Natsu's ignorance.
Erza included.
Nonetheless, most members moved outside. They wanted to see this no matter what.
Cana set up a little booth to allow people to bet on who they thought would win. There were way more Erza bets than Natsu bets.
Lana ased Volga who he was betting on, and he told her Natsu.
"Why?"
"Well," Volga started, "Dragneel managed to beat me, Scarlet didn't. Simple as that."
"Well, Natsu did have Link with him at the time with Link doing most of the fighting, as well as the fact that he only managed to beat you with a Unison Raid."
"And Scarlet with just about the rest of the guild didn't manage to beat me."
"Good point."
Lucy was getting confused. Were fights like this really allowed? She was going to ask Happy, but he was busy betting against Natsu. Such loyalty. She then was going to find and ask Makarov, but he was busy wishing both fighters luck.
"Well, I guess that solves that."
Makarov stepped off to the side to allow Macao to mediate.
"This will be a fight between Erza Scarlet and Natsu Dragneel. I, Macao Conbolt, will serve as the referee for this match. Are both sides ready?"
Natsu shook his flaming fists and nodded.
"I've had a fire in my belly forever, let's go already!"
Erza Requipped into an armor known as the Flame Empress Armor, which was known for having the ability to halve the power of flame-based attacks, leaving Natsu at a disadvantage.
"Ready."
Macao nodded. "Ready... Go!"
"I have to ask Natsu, how long has it been since we last fought?"
"Back when we were kids. But I've grown up since then. I'll definitely win this time, Erza!"
He charged at Erza and released a Fire Dragon's Roar, though Erza slipped around and attempted to slash Natsu, who dodged back. Igniting his feet, he spun on his hands in an attempt to strie with Fire Dragon's Talons, though Erza defended with the flat side of her blade, which sent her skidding back. In return, she brought her blade down on Natsu, who stepped off to the side at the last moment, but the force of the blow blew Natsu away.
"Well, they've certanly gotten stronger," observed Link.
Natsu regained himself, and brought his flaming hands together.
"Fire Dragon's Brilliant Flame!"
He threw the giant ball of fire at Erza, who dodged, and the flaming blast instead struck Draco, who rather enjoyed the warmth. If he can survive in a volcano, he can survive Natsu's flames.
"Sorry, Draco."
The Wyvern flicked his tongue out, revealing he also had a snake tongue. Volga merely laughed. He freaking love that thing.
Natsu rushed at Erza as she raised her blade, and both struck at the same time with a powerful hit.
"*Clapclap* Stop this fighting at once!"
Neither heard the man and continued, forcing someone to step in. Link Sonido'ed right between them, catching Natsu's flaming fist with his stone-clad hand and stopping Erza's sword with his shield.
"What the Hell, Link?"
"We have rather... Important company."
Both turned to see a frog messenger from the Magic Council. Frog messengers were typically used because they drew attention, they were loyal, and they were fast.
"What does the Council need?"
The messenger pulled out a large scroll and read from it.
"I hereby place Erza Scarlet of the Fairy Tail Guild under arrest!"
Everyone present yelled, "WHAT?!" followed by Volga yelling, "Aw, come on, I bet 2,000 jewel on this fight!"
Everyone looked at him in annoyance, even Draco.
"What?"
OOO
Everyone sat in the guild in silence. Erza just got arrested, so it was understandable. Well, there was one person who wasn't quiet.
"LET ME OUT OF THIS CUP! COME ON, GUYS, IT EVEN SMELLS BAD IN HERE! LET ME OUT, NOW!"
Natsu, for some reason in the form of a salamander wearing a jacket and scarf, was currently trapped within a cup set upside-down on the bar's counter.
And good God was he being loud.
"Natsu, silence yourself. I care just as much as you do, but we both know not to try anything. You'd be imprisoned as well."
"I DON'T CARE, LINK, THEY TOOK ERZA TO JAIL!"
At that moment, Link's anger flared. He turned to Natsu, red eye included, and spoke slowly and calmly, yet laced with rage.
"I've told you once Natsu. I shouldn't have to repeat myself."
Natsu froze in his place. As said before, Link can be terrifying if he truly pleased.
Mirajane noticed something wrong.
"What... You never be quiet, even when Link tells you to."
Even Link noticed that. "Makarov."
The short man nodded and blasted the small cup with some sort of magic, destroying the cup and reverting Natsu to his real form.
A form better known as Macao.
"Hehe... surprise?"
Link walked over to Macao, who backed up, but exhaled when the swordsman held out his hand to help the fire mage up.
"Well, thanks, Li-AH!"
After helping the fire mage to his feet, he almost broke every bone in his hand. He left one or two in tact.
"Tell me; Where's Natsu?"
"OW! Damn... Well, I owed him, so I took his place."
He explained that he had Romeo create a distraction allowing Natsu to get away.
"So what you're saying is...?"
"Yeah. Natsu's going for Erza."
Macao barely made it out alive, mainly because Link had to make sure Natsu didn't muck anything up.
OOO
Erza, in handcuffs, was being escorted to the Magic Council's courtroom for her trial. However, they were halted by a man with blue hair and intricate face tattoo. Erza apparently knew him all too well.
"Siegrain," she spat with discontent.
"Why hello, Erza, how are you this fine day?"
"Silence yourself, Siegrain. You and I both know I'm not in the mood for small talk."
"Miss Scarlet, your words wound me ever so. What have I ever done to you?"
"You were born."
"For one with such a fiery passion, you are quite cold, Scarlet. Besides, you are not in a position to make such threats."
"Ha! You think these restraints can hold me?"
"Silly Erza, you are so dense. I didn't mean those silly restraints, I meant Valion."
"What?"
"You think I don't know he was the one who caused the property damage? And those spells he used were deemed too destructive. They were outlawed. We know about Valion all too well. We even know of Oni."
Erza paled. How did they know this much?
"Ah, I see we're getting somewhere. Yes, we are completely aware of Oni, the Fierce Deity. His power was also deemed too great, and countermeasures were made. It was voted 7 to 2 that if he were to be released with negative repercussions again, Valion would be executed."
A tear formed in Erza's left eye, freely making its way down her face.
"Y-Y-You... YOU MONSTER!"
She quickly escaped the frog messenger's grasp and tried to kick Siegrain, but her foot merely passed through him.
"Oh dear, did I forget to mention that this was a Thought Projection? The same goes for everyone inside. Even the great Erza Scarlet isn't worth their time, it seems."
He placed a hand under Erza's chin, forcing her to look at him.
"Now, you can make this easy, or we take Valion instead."
With that, Siegrain's Thought Projection faded away, leaving Erza alone with the frog messenger, who had been bowing throughout the entire ordeal.
"You know some very important people."
"Evil people."
OOO
Erza was led to the Magic Council's courtroom, and was left standing in front of three of the world's most powerful enforcers of magical law, the three people who could make a Wizard Saint kneel.
"Erza Scarlet," boomed the one in the center, his voice filled with authority. "Are you aware of what you are being tried for?"
"Yes, property damage and endangerment of innocent lives."
The man nodded in understanding. "Good, then this will be easier for all of us. I hereby find the defendant Erza Scarlet gu-"
He was cut off by a huge explosion in the back of the room, the shockwave blowing several guards away.
"EXPLODING FIST! Er, a, WHO IS THIS STRANGE WOMAN BEFORE ME? AN IMPOSTER? I AM THE GREAT TITANIA ERZA SCARLET!"
Natsu had covered himself in every pot and pan Lucy had stocked at her house to look like armor, as well as a red wig that looked admittedly similar to Erza's hair, though his trademark spikes of hair still poked out in the front.
Erza made the mental note to never let Natsu crossdress again.
After she punished him.
"Natsu!" she hissed. "What are you doing?"
"NATSU? WHO IS THIS NATSU? I AM ERZA SCARLET, I AM THE ONE THAT YOU WANT!"
The flames in the room were quickly put out by stone cutting off their sources of oxygen, as well as reforming the doorway Natsu blew up. Natsu turned fearfully to the door, and as he dreaded, Link stood there, a deep golden aura laced with viridian glowing around him.
And he was absolutely livid.
"NATSU. YOU'VE MADE A HUGE MISTAKE."
Natsu took a step forward, displaying renewed courage.
"But they took Erza, I mean, THE TRIED TO CAPTURE ME, BUT INSTEAD INCARCERATED AN IMPOSTER!"
Erza nodded in approval of Natsu's slowly evolving vocabulary, but backed up at Link's rage.
"Natsu, even I'd run at this point," said Erza.
Natsu tried to run, but was caught by Link before he had even turned the other direction, the green-clad knight lifting him to eye level.
"IF YOU MAKE ANY MOVE TO ESCAPE, I'LL LEAVE YOU TO THE MERCY OF STALLORD."
Natsu quickly nodded in fear as Link turned to the center judge, with his rage even enough to cause him to sweat.
"I hope Natsu's interruption can be overlooked. I will pay for all of the property damage, as well as Erza's bail. Natsu's as well."
"What do you mean?" questioned the judge.
"It should be obvious that for the destruction of Magic Council property, he would be arrested."
The judge nodded. "How observant, Sir Valion."
Link nodded.
"However, there is still jail time involved."
Link nodded again. He was aware of how Fiore's laws worked. Other than his magics, they were one of the main things he studied.
"Natsu, I hate to say this, but you've earned this one."
Natsu was about to question what he meant, but was met by a solid Earth Dragon's Iron Fist, rendering him unconscious.
OOO
When Natsu woke, he was in a prison cell across from Erza, who was also very mad.
"What were you THINKING?! Do you have any idea how everything works here?!"
Natsu shook his head. He had no clew.
"This entire ordeal was just for show! They'd keep me here for a night, give me a slap on the wrist, and let me go!"
Natsu cringed. Erza was really loud, and she had a point.
"However, it was rather sweet of you to do so."
Even though Erza was mad at him, she couldn't be for long. Natsu smiled, his trademarked goofy grin.
"BUT IT WAS FOOLISH!"
Natsu's shouts of pain could be heard down the hall by everyone.
OOO
The following day, both Natsu and Erza returned. Erza, waiting for her vacation with Link, merely sat around the guild with a drink. Natsu, however, was itching for a fight.
"Come on, Erza, let's go! We have a fight to finish!"
"Not now, I'm tired, and I'm going on a vacation soon. It will have to wait."
"Oh no, nonononono, I waited through all of that Eisenwald stuff, I'm going to finish this fight, whether you want to or not!"
He leaped violently at Erza, who merely set down her glass, Requipped a polearm, and swatted Natsu away with tremendous force, leaving a Natsu-shaped indent on the wall.
"There. Satisfied?"
"N-no... Fair!"
"Hahahahaha! Damn, that was pathetic!"
Everyone turned to the balcony to see Laxus laughing loudly at how easily Natsu's assault was put down.
"That was sad, you flaming punk, worse than what that punk Volga can do!"
"Hey now," started Volga. "I don't need any of your shit right now! Draco, go ahead."
The massive wyvern complied and made his way to the second floor and tried to tackle Laxus, but the lightning mage was almost as physically powerful as Volga, and as such could hold off Draco easily.
"Get the thing out of here."
He threw Draco at Volga, who carefully caught Draco, the force of Laxus' through sending Volga back a few meters.
"Damn. You alright, Draco?"
Draco flicked his tongue out, a sign that he was okay. Volga set him down, and he walked outside to sunbathe.
"Laxus!" shouted Natsu, anger in his voice. "I wanna see you do better! Come down here and fight me!"
"If you're so sure of yourself," snickered Laxus, "then why don't you come up here and fight me?"
"Took the words right out of my mouth!"
Natsu made a break for the stairs, though he was halted by Makarov's massive hand slamming down on top of him.
"Natsu, you know that only S-Class mages are allowed upstairs."
Laxus began laughing even harder. "Oh, right, you can't, you're not S-Class! You're too weak!"
Makarov sighed. Laxus was far to cocky, but there was nothing he could do about it.
"Who is that guy? I saw him when Link, Natsu and Gray saved me, but I never caught his name."
"That's Laxus Dreyar," replied Elfman. "He's one of Fairy Tail's best, In the running for the top man. It's been said by a lot of people that he and Link are evenly matched. They've fought several times in the past, but neither could ever beat the other."
"Whoa, he's really as strong as Link?"
"Don't you dare compare me to that green- wearing buffoon! I'm leagues stronger than he could ever hope to be!"
"Laxus, just let it be," commanded Makarov. "I'm growing tired of your bickering. Well, I'm actually just tired."
"He must be returning," said Link, who had been there the entire time. He didn't want to talk to Laxus right now, but someone was coming, and most people could tell.
Everyone aside from, Link, Laxus, and Makarov fell into a deep sleep. The doors opened, and a man covered head to toe wielding five magic staves walked in.
"Mystogan," nodded Link. "I take it your quest was successful?"
"Yes," stated Mystogan, short and sweet. Mystogan was the most mysterious member of Fairy Tail, and barely anyone alive had ever seen his face beneath his mask.
"Good to hear." Link then yawned. Whenever Mystogan arrived, he used an extremely powerful sleep spell, rendering everyone unconscious weaker than he or Laxus.
Mystogan made his way to the request board and began walking to the door, but he was halted by Makarov.
"Undo the sleep spell first."
Mystogan nodded and turned back to the door.
"5."
He continued walking.
"4."
He turned to Link and nodded with Link nodding back, a sign of recognition of each other's abilities.
"3."
Mystogan made it to the door.
"2."
Mystogan left the room.
"1."
The doors slammed behind him, and everyone who fell asleep began stirring. Well, except for Natsu, who remained asleep in the corner.
"Who... Was that?"
"Ah, this was the first time you've experienced one of Mystogan's visits, wasn't it, Lucy?" Questioned Link. "That was Mystogan, one of Fairy Tail's elite, and one of the only mages I can safely call my equal. Whenever he arrives, he always puts everyone to sleep."
"Pfft. He's still weak," boomed Laxus. "I'm the strongest there is! Not him, not old man Makarov, not you, not even that old guy!"
"Laxus, silence!" commanded Makarov. "I've grown tired of your insults."
Laxus scoffed and leaned back, turning on his headphones. It seems that when he's done insulting people, he usually listens to his music.
"Anyway, Erza!"
The scarlet-haired mage looked over to see Link smiling and holding up two tickets.
"You ready for our vacation?"
I was really happy that I got this chapter out of the way so that you guys knew how strong Link was in my story. And as of right now, he has similar power to Laxus, and by extension, Mystogan.
(1) Draco is in fact a hybrid species of a wyvern and a dodongo, evident by the armored skull.
And next chapter is going to be another author arc, one that at least one reviewer will be happy to see.
Chuck Norris can hear silence.
OniHelix out!
