Hey, everyone! Remember way back when, a long time ago, Chapter 19? The Date (Part I)? Anyone remember Part II? No? Oh, right…I never did get around to it. I think I owe it to you guys, for all those great reviews. Enjoy! (And, no, I don't own it!)

"What am I going to do?"

Aang was in a complete panic, wondering how he was going to come up with a solution to a very serious problem. He was a nervous wreck. His problem, you ask?

What on Earth was he going to do about his date with Katara?

Clearly, the situation was dire. It was so important that Aang had to ask advice from the highest order of authority on the subject…
…By which I mean Sokka.

Yeah, I'm just as confused as you are. Let's see how this turns out.

"Why the heck are you talking to me about this?!" Sokka demanded.

"I don't know, you're the only other guy around most of the time," Aang replied. "And you have a girlfriend. Can't you help me?"

"Aang, I'm flattered, really," Sokka said flatly. "But the last thing I want to discuss with you is your relationship with my sister. Blech, major oogies."

Aang rolled his eyes at the last part. "Sokka, please? I'm desperate!"

Katara suddenly appeared in the room. "Desperate about what?"

Aang's breath hitched. "U-um…painting lessons!" he blurted nervously. "Yeah, I was desperate to learn Sokka's painting techniques."

"Well…I don't know that Sokka's the right guy for that," Katara said. "I'd look elsewhere if I were you."

"Hey!" Sokka said, hurt.

"They're…abstract painting techniques!" Aang lied.

"HEY!" Sokka shouted, now angry. "Well, you can look for help elsewhere, Airhead!" He stomped grumpily out of the room.

Aang sighed. "Thanks for nothing…" he mumbled.

"Trust me, Aang, you'll probably be much better of without Sokka's painting lessons," Katara said, giggling a little. "Besides, I've seen you paint. You're much better than he is."

"I told you…I wanted abstract painting lessons," Aang said.

"Really?" she asked skeptically. She smirked. "I think you're trying to cover something up, Mr. Avatar."

Oh, no! She was on to him!

"N-no, I'm not," he lied, rather badly.

"You're not a very good liar," Katara said bemusedly. "You know that, and I know that."

Aang thought quickly, and came up with another excuse. "Well…it's kind of official Avatar business and stuff. I didn't want to worry you." Yeah, that sounded good enough to him.

"Oh. Well, you know…I could probably help you with that," she offered.

"Um…n-no, that's okay," he said quickly.

"Then why did you need Sokka's help?" she questioned.

"Classified," Aang lied. He rushed out of the room to avoid further questioning.

"Um…okay…" Katara said, totally confused. "I'll…see you later then."

This was bad. This was very bad.

How could Aang have asked Katara out without having any idea of what they could do?

"Wait a minute…" Aang said to himself. "Out! That's a great idea!"

He had come up with a foolproof plan…a picnic. Just the two of them. She'd love it! How hard could that possibly be, anyway?

"A picnic…hmm…I wonder how I'm going to pull this one off…"
