Takeshi yawns as he stretches out his arms over his head. He had a good nap during class! He was surprised that the teacher didn't catch him napping. There were so few classmates today. Most were either at the hospital due to an injury or because someone was else they knew was injured. He is met by Reborn who asks if he had seen Tsunami. Takeshi hadn't seen Tsunami all day. Next, the hitman asks if Hayato knew where she was. Again, Takeshi was unsure. He believed he heard the teacher fuss at exchange student when he got up in the middle of class and left for the day. Something about his cell phone dying. Reborn curses. Tsunami was missing and there was no way to contact Hayato to confirm if Tsunami was with the bomber.

Said bomber was in the Namimori shopping district still peeved that his phone was dead. He was getting hungry and reaching from his pocket he finds that he didn't have enough money on him to by a decent meal. He was not having a good day!

"Namimori Middle School. 2-A. Attendance number 8….Gokudera, Hayato."

Hayato narrows his eyes at the middle school student in an all-green uniform. He had a shoulder bag, wore thin framed glasses and a white beanie over his short, cropped hair.

"Let's make this quick. I hate to break a sweat," the boy huffs.

"Who are you?"

"Kokuyo Middle School, second year. Kakimoto, Chikusa. The guy who's going to destroy you."

"Pfft, oh yeah? Another delinquent from another school spoiling for a fight…this is getting old…"

Hayato motions with his hand for Chikusa to come at him. He seemed to share his opponent's reluctance for a fight. Some young men noticed the two squaring off and edge closer to be entertained. Chikusa was bothered by the nosy witnesses and pulls out a bright, yellow yo-yo from his bag. He flicks his wrists and spins the harmless looking toy up and down. With another flick the yo-yo is shot forward in their direction and spins rapidly. Needles are buried into their foreheads and the two men fell over unconscious with streams of blood from the holes made by the needles spraying into the air. Hayato shudders. This "middle school student" wasn't some punk looking for a pointless brawl. Chikusa swipes his yo-yo at Hayato. Hayato sidesteps the attack. He managed to avoid the full force of the attack but receives a cut across his cheek. Hayato makes a quick dash away from the main street. Chikusa chases after him. Hayato disappears around the corner and when Chikusa appeared around it he was met by a storm of dynamite. He reacts to the sight having his yo-yo spin and twirl through the dynamite. With incredible accuracy he snuffs out the fuse of every stick. Hayato had ducked behind a magazine shelf. He sees the yo-yo whizz beside him as it shoots out needles. Hayato crashes through the magazine shelf to avoid the needles as they shred the magazines and shelves apart. Following through the crash he rolls onto his knee and glares at Chikusa as he catches his yo-yo in his hand.

'This guy's no ordinary juvie. Such skill and style…He's a pro assassin!'

Tsunami's arms were held in a painful grip of Mukuro's hands. The older teen was glaring down on her, trying to get answers from the girl. The girl was in a panic as she tries to call to the Ranking Child Fuuta. He had heard that Fuuta had befriended the Vongola heir in Japan. How was this girl involved with Fuuta?

"Fuuta!"

Fuuta stood in the darkness not responding to the girl's cries. Mukuro's eyes flash and the boy gasps and looks around himself surprised to be in an unfamiliar setting. His eyes widen in recognition.

"Neechan!"

"Fuuta-chan! Are you okay?"

Fuuta clutches his large book to his chest. His lips quivers and he bows his head, his bangs hiding his face.

"…Neechan…I…I'm so sorry, neechan!"

"Sorry, what are you sorry for?"

"Kufufufu. The Ranking Child is on my side now."

"What?" Tsunami frowns.

"Hmmm, but I must say…he was a little stubborn in fulfilling my requests. When I tried to question him of his knowledge of the Vongola heir he kept silent, closing his heart and mind which caused him to lose his ranking ability."

Once again, greedy people had taken Fuuta for his ability to divine one's abilities! Fuuta protected her identity from Mukuro and in the process has somehow mentally cut himself off from using his divination.

"It took some effort but we found through his book a list of Namimori's fighting strength. Going through the list we worked our way up…we are close with the top ten. The president perfect was one of those top on the list. The fifth was handled this morning and the third is possibly being dealt with as we speak."

This morning's victim happened to have been Ryohei! Something clicks within Mukuro and a smile creeps along his face.

"Come to think of it, at the very top of the list…there was a name…a girl's name to my surprise!"

Fuuta's eyes grew wide with fear and he grips his book tightly. Tsunami's heart races and her teeth chatter.

"You wouldn't be Sawada, Tsunami, would you?"

Tsunami flinches and tries to pull away. Mukuro's grin bares his teeth and he laughs out loud. Kyoya growls from where he was lying. Mukuro reaches beneath his jacket and pulls out a small sword with three-prongs in his hand.

"Now, now, I'm not going to kill you….you are very important to me."

He takes the tallest point of the three-pronged blade and pricks the side of her neck. Tsunami was thrown to the ground and she scrambles to sit up and clutches her neck. She holds her hand out and sees blood on her hand. She hears a click of a gun and looks up to see it had replaced his blade. Mukuro lifts the gun, points it at his head and winks at her. The gun is fired and Mukuro falls to the ground. Tsunami and Fuuta are stunned. Kyoya narrows his eyes in suspicion. Why would he kill himself after he claimed to have been searching for Tsunami for an undefined purpose? But, Tsunami listens carefully…she could still hear Mukuro's heart beating from his body. He wasn't dead! She looks above his body and could see his soul! Mukuro's soul was very strange. Its aura was larger than a normal human soul. It has six layers wrapped around it. Tsunami recalled reading about souls with layers from the book Buiiro had loaned to her. Layers of aura over a soul meant the soul was oversouled. Oversouled being that more than one soul resided within one body, giving one very strong spiritual abilities. The oversouled soul approaches her and streams through her eyes. Tsunami feels her body become stiff with the familiar feeling of a soul taken possession of her body!

Reborn and Takeshi heard there was fight between a Namimori and Kokuyo student at the shopping district. Racing there they found Hayato taking a smoke break surrounded by destruction. A distance away they see the fallen Kokuyo student burned and bloodied. Hayato reports to Reborn who the student was and he believed he was an assassin from a mafia family.

"He belongs to no family. He's a mafia criminal."

"W-what?"

"That's not important right now. Do you know where Tsunami is?"

"Boss is missing?!"

Takeshi nods, "She never came to class. I haven't seen her all day!"

Reborn's fedora hides his face as he looks down at the ground in thought, "If she isn't with you…then that stupid girl must have gone to Kokuyo Land. She had made friends with a Kokuyo student who turned out to be one of the students doing these attacks. Ken was his name."

"Ken?!" Hayato yells. "That's not the guy I was fighting with!"

"Do you think that she found him and he has done something to her?" asks Takeshi.

"I don't know…but we have to get to Kokuyo Land to make sure she's safe. She said she was going this morning, but I told that girl not to go!"

"Why is that, Reborn-chan?"

Hayato and Takeshi jump and whirl around to see Tsunami's aunt, Shini. The teenage aunt had her hands on her hips and her eye that wasn't covered by a dyed purple bang glares at them.

"I haven't heard from Tsu-chan all day! She hasn't been answering her phone and her cousins are going nuts! You said she's at Kokuyo Land! Take me there, right now!"

Ken was laughing to himself from a good day's work. This morning he attacked some stupid boxer. Later in the day he took down the so-called second-in-command of the Namimori Discipline Committee. These Namimori students were such pushovers. Ken laughs out loud. Then, his thoughts turn to Tsunami. Tsunami wasn't happy that he was doing these things. But, it was what Mukuro wanted and what he wanted Ken was going give it to him, even if it risked losing his life. He wonders if he should see her later. He was sure that she's probably worried about him.

"Mukuro-sama! I'm baaack, byoooon~!"

Ken looks into the movie theatre. One of Mukuro's favorite places to rest; he even had a lounge chair set up on the stage withthe torn down screen fabric. He wasn't there. Ken wanders through the halls finding the spa rooms. He hears a noise from one of the rooms and steps through. He sees the perfect, which appeared to have received quite a thrashing from Mukuro. The bloodied and half-dazed perfect had a tonfa in hand and was preparing to strike Mukuro's unguarded body! With a snarl, Ken lunges and pounces on Kyoya. Kyoya is knocked to the ground, his body still under the affects of the cherry blossom disease. They roll and struggle on the floor until Ken begins beating Kyoya across the face. He strikes Kyoya with a punch knocking him out. Ken was over Mukuro's body and checks over him. It appeared he arrived in time! He sighs in relief and his nose was tickled by a familiar scent. He looks over his shoulder and falls backwards stunned. It was Tsunami on her knees staring up into the ceiling. Her eyes were blank and dull, her arms hung at her sides. It looked like she was possessed, but why would Mukuro want to possess the girl?

"Mukuro-sama? Mukuro-sama? Are you in there?...Tuna?"

Neither Tsunami or Mukuro respond.

Mukuro expected to see the world through Tsunami's eyes when he entered her. But instead, he found himself dwelling within her mind. He succeeded entering her body, but he hadn't take control of it yet. Tsunami's will was strong. His red eye flashes and he appears before a pair of large, rounded double doors. They were made of a heavy wood with a carving on each side of the door of bats. Mukuro holds his hand out to the door and they part by themselves. The door opens to three temples that were built upside down inside an underground cavern. The only light source inside were three large bonfires lit between three entrances to the temples. The entrances had three figures seated in front of the opening. The figure on the left was a bat the size of a young girl, like Tsunami. It was on her wings and paws, eyes glowing red and hog-like nose quivering. On the right, was a floating cocoon of dark flesh with a yellow light flickering softly from within. In the center was Tsunami, sitting on her knees dressed in what in Mukuro's opinion was a rather risqué version of a Japanese priestess outfit. The hakama, the red pants she wore, were normal accept even from a seated position it hung low on her hips. The white "haori" was strips of white that came out of the front of Tsunami's hakama over her chest and tied like a halter top around the back of her neck. The reason for this strange attire was Tsunami's arms were stretching out into a pair of bat wings! On the top of her head were pointed bat ears. Tsunami's eyes were closed as her ears twitch at Mukuro's approach and she frowns.

"I never heard of any person who was still alive and is able to project their soul into another living person. I don't think my grandfather or anyone in my family has experience this!"

"Kufufufu," Mukuro chuckles. "Is this how you see yourself?"

"It is what I am. I am a vampire bat…well, half vampire bat."

"Now I understand why you are so strong. You're only half human. Interesting."

The vampire bat on the left growls at Mukuro and snaps her fangs.

"You're beast side?"

"Yes."

Mukuro looks to the right, "And that?"

"I…I'm not sure. I never had a third representation of my inner self….it appeared when…"

"When the Arcobaleno arrived to train you to be the Vongola Boss. He must have fired those Hyper bullets at you. Kufufufu, what a weak flame. There was news flying about that the great hitman, Reborn, had gone to Japan on orders to train the future heir. I really must say, I wasn't expecting that the chosen heir would be a lovely young girl like you. But, girl or not, I'm taking your body."

Tsunami's eyes open, her face full of apprehension, "Why?!"

"Revenge." Mukuro smiles sickeningly sweet.

Tsunami's inner-self shivers and her beast-self at her side roars and leaps in front of her, drumming her wings in anger and baring her fangs in warning.

"Kufufufu, I will destroy your mind. Once it's shattered your body will be mine and it will be the first step to bring down the mafia world!"

Tsunami squeezes her eyes shut and she begins to pray. The little flame inside of the wrapped cocoon of flesh glows brighter. Tsunami's inner beast shrieks and charges at Mukuro. He laughs and the strange pupil that was a horizontal line changes into several characters in rapid succession within his red eye.

Shini forces Hayato and Takeshi to take her to Kokuyo Land by their ears like she does with Mamoru and Takehiko when they got in trouble or were just simply annoying her. She forces them onto a bus that took them Kokuyo Land. She drills the two boys in explaining what was going on. Hayato learned from Tsunami that a few bats within her family had the heighten perception to detect when someone was lying. Physically they can tell by one's heart rate or spiritually, through the wavering of the soul. Though, there was a way to lie without seeming to but it takes practiced execution. White lies or half-truths were hard to decipher. Only giving a Tejinaka part of the truth and omitting certain details would make them less suspicious, depending on the bat's skill in lie detecting. The other way to hide a lie is that you must absolutely believe in your own lie. This technique requires time and creativity.

"It just a fight between two gangs, okay!" Hayato explains. "This gang from Kokuyo Middle is just stretching out their muscle and challenging our school…as far I know. That stupid perfect, Hibari, knows how to make enemies and makes himself out to be a big threat, hmph." He folds his arms.

Shini narrows her eyes. Hayato's heartbeat was quick, but he was just in a fight and his adrenaline was probably still pumping. She chatters her teeth behind her lips. Somehow her niece made friends with a dangerous guy who was beating people up. Being the sweetheart and caring soul she was she probably went to Kokuyo Land to have a talk with him. Shini sighs and looks out the window. She remembers that Tsunami said she got hurt and was unable to come home and she met that shape-shifter the night she stayed over. Shini was beginning to think that Ken must have hurt her. Whether it was in self-defense or not, that was uncertain. When they set foot on the park's grounds, the hair on the back of Shini's neck stood on end. Something wasn't right. She was already moving through the park as if she had visited it herself at one point in her life. She sniffs the air nosily, focusing on finding Tsunami that she didn't notice that neither Hayato, Takeshi nor Reborn didn't find her strange for doing so. They wordlessly followed her, Hayato keeping track of their course through the app on his phone of Tsunami's GPS device in her collar. She hadn't moved from a certain location for hours and he was worried of why she was still for so long. Just as they entered the Kokuyo Health building there was a great crash and the sounds of snarling and scraping of metal on metal. They race to the noise and find Ken fighting Kyoya. Kyoya was in bad shape, bloodied, cut and bruised. He was wheezing through his lips but kept his eyes trained on Ken. Ken was covered in hair from around his neck and shoulders. He had the scent of a large cat…a lion maybe, from what Shini could smell.

"Kyo!" Shini shouts.

Kyoya grunts, "Don't call me that!" his eyes never left Ken.

"Hey! Who are you guys, byon!?"

"Tsu-chan!"

"Boss!"

Takeshi and Hayato spot Tsunami rooted to the floor in a daze. Fuuta was in a corner, crying and sobbing into his book. Reborn hops from his perch on Takeshi's shoulder and makes his way to the front of his student.

"Tsunami! Snap out of it!"

Shini goes to Tsunami and searches her soul. She eyes the soul of her niece and a layered soul clashing within her. She links the foreign soul to the body of the unconscious boy. She growls and forms a hand-sign. Her hand becomes surrounded by spiritual energy. She draws her hand back!

"SOUL PURGE!"

She thrusts the palm of her hand into Tsunami's core. Tsunami gasps and throws her head back. Mukuro's body jerks and his eyes snap out open. He sits up and held his chest. He had the strange sensation of having the wind knocked out of him, but felt it deeper than his lungs. Mukuro gazes at Shini as the older teen cradles Tsunami in her arms and pats her cheek to revive her. Tsunami had turned pale and her eyes developed bags. She looked as though she hadn't slept in weeks! Shini turns to Mukuro and growls at him.

"What were you doing to her?!"

Mukuro held his chest as he rose to his feet.

"Mukuro-sama!" Ken yells. "Why were you in my friend?"

A smile spreads across his face and a chuckle crawls out of him that made the others shiver.

"Ken…your so-called friend is our enemy!"

"W-what?"

"You poor simpleton! Her name is Sawada, Tsunami. She's at the top of our list…she's our target!"

"Eh…but…but…she's…"

"You know what she is, Ken. You poor fool. She's an animal, almost like you…that made you blind to the truth. You didn't want to think it was her."

"N-no, Mukuro-sama."

"All this time, Ken. I'm disappointed in you."

Ken bows his head. It was true. When Tsunami told him her name, he was surprised. But, Tsunami didn't look like mafia. Besides, when he saw her form, he thought that maybe she was an experiment like him that escaped from her tormentors like he and the others. But, she told him she was born that way; it was natural, which dashed his hopes of finding a kindred spirit. Now, he had to face the truth. She was mafia. The mafia that he, Chikusa and Mukuro hated for the pain and suffering inflicted upon them. Ken whimpers and stares at Tsunami sadly.

'Tuna…'

"Kufufufu, don't worry, I will allow you to make up for your mistake…take Sawada, Tsunami away from that girl! If it makes you feel better, think of us as saving her from her horrible fate of becoming mafia."

"Saving…her?" Ken's stares at Mukuro surprise.

Mukuro nods, "Yes. While I was in her mind, I learn quite a few things about her. Yes, she is the chosen heir for the Vongola and the entire mafia…but, it's against her will."

"'Against her will'…?" Ken echoes.

"Yes, Ken. Dear Tsunami doesn't wish to become mafia…but the mafia isn't giving her a choice! They are forcing her to take up their sinful way of life."

"Yeah…yeah…you're right, Mukuro-sama!" Ken smiles madly with a tint of hope in his wild eyes. "There's no way someone like Tuna would become mafia! She's…she's so sweet and kind! She doesn't belong to the mafia!"

Mukuro smirks. "We will take her as one of us and through her we will continue our plan to destroy the mafia. Once they're destroyed, she'll be left alone in peace. I wouldn't need her anymore and she will be free to continue her life."

"Yes! I like that, Mukuro-sama!"

"Excuse me!" Shini snaps. "What the hell are ya'll talking about!" her country drawl suddenly slipped out. "Mafia…heir…Vongola!? What's all this craziness!? What does Tsunami have to do with this…is this some city-activity you do? Roleplay…aren't you taking it a little too seriously?!"

Everyone stares at Shini. Takeshi laughs nervously, "Yeah, this scenario is getting intense!"

"….Idiot!" Hayato yells at Takeshi, absolutely dumbfounded.

Shini stood and lifts Tsunami off the floor, turning and placing her gently into Takeshi's arms.

"You, get Tsunami out here! Hayato, get Kyoya…"

"I'm not going…anywhere…" Kyoya growls.

"Kid, you're sick as a dog! I don't know how the hell you're standing…but you won't be able to stand for long!" Shini rumbles.

"I don't take orders from no one!"

"Stubborn little Hibari shit! Grandpa did always tell us that Hibari are a pain in the ass!" Shini smiles as she grits her teeth. "Hurry up and take her to Kimiki's, you hear! Go! Now!"

"Ken, don't let them leave with that girl!"

"I won't, Mukuro-sama! We're going to save Tuna-chan!"

"You two are nutso!" Shini roars. "Takeshi! Hayato! I told you to leave! NOOOW!"

Ken lets out a lion's roar and runs on all fours to Takeshi's direction. Takeshi makes a run for it. Kyoya blocks Ken's path and swings his tonfa into Ken's face. Ken snarls and bites down on the tonfa. Kyoya takes his second tonfa and begins pounding it into Ken's sides and gut. Reborn urges Takeshi and Hayato to run.

"Fuuta!" Takeshi calls to the boy.

Fuuta whimpers and shakes his head.

"We don't have the luxury of saving Fuuta!" said Reborn, "Tsunami's safety is our top priority."

"Kufufu! You're not going anywhere with my future body!"

Mukuro's blade's handle extends and the blade becomes a trident. Mukuro stabs the trident into the ground and the floor crumbles and gives way. Hayato and Takeshi fall between the broken floorboards into the darkness! Shini bounds from floorboard to floorboard, her eyes were blood red and slashes at Mukuro. Mukuro dodges her attack, barely. Shini was freakishly fast! Mukuro's shirt had slashes through it. Shini passes him in her strike and spins on her foot and with a snarl slams her palm into his back.

"SOUL DISRUPTION!"

Shini forces her spiritual energy into Mukuro's body. Her energy drives into Mukuro causing his mind and body to disconnect as his soul was being scrambled. With his mind and soul in a jumble he loses concentration of his attack and the room returns to normal! Takeshi and Hayato were dazed.

"Get up! That was only an illusion!" Reborn yells.

"But it felt so real!" Hayato gasped. He is suddenly reminded of Nekomasa's ability to create an illusionary barrier that discourages most humans to avoid a certain area.

"Run! Before he starts another one!"

Mukuro growls as he regains his focus. He sees Tsunami being taken away in a mad scramble by her friends and the Arcobaleno. His red eye starts spinning. Shini's eyes widen.

"No way…could it be…that eye…You've died more than once, didn'tcha!"

Mukuro frowns at Shini and his eye settles on a kanji for 4, "You're dangerous. Looks like I have to focus on you before getting my hands on Tsunami again."

"You bet you're pretty little face, asshole!" Shini smirks.

"Kufufu, such vulgar language from a young lady!"

"That's because I get pissed when somebody bothers my little niece! Now that those boys are gone…I can go wild on your ass."

Shini rolls her shoulders and her arms extend. Fingers thicken and turn to dark points. Her fangs unsheathe and her ears point but don't fully extend to full bat ears.

"Ah, yes! One of things I also learned while dwelling in Tsunami's mind…you're not human at all. Thank you for reminding, kufufufu!"

Shini roars and sprints towards Mukuro, claws prepared to tear him to pieces. Mukuro spins his trident and meets Shini in close combat…

The boys escape from Kokuyo Land with Tsunami. They were lucky to catch the bus that was just about to depart from the bus stop. They reassured the shocked bus driver that Tsunami was okay and that they didn't need to go to the hospital or the police. The bus takes them back to Namimori territory and they disembark within Tsunami's neighborhood at around dusk. They remembered Shini's instructions to take Tsunami to someone named Kimiki. Nearly out of thin air, Hayato and Takeshi are confronted by two very angry looking cousins.

"What happened to Tsunami! Where's Shini?!"

"Calm down!" Reborn barks. "We're going to Kimiki's bathhouse. Come with us and everything will be explained there."

"….What the hell, who do you think you're talking to you little…"

There was a loud bang and something zipped by Takehiko's ear. Takehiko yelps and covers his ear and stares at the now pistol-wielding baby. Mamoru pales and swallows. He was told by Buiiro and Yoyori that Reborn was no ordinary baby. He now sees what they meant. They follow Reborn to Kimiki's bathhouse. The old woman was at the front desk and as always, reading a book. She looks up from the book and her warm greeting dies on her lips when she sees the weakened state of Tsunami and the tension amongst the group.

"Oh goodness, oh dear, oh my!" Kimiki scrambles from her desk, "Come, come! We'll take her to the bath below! Oh the poor dear, she looks so weary!"

Kimiki takes them to the back of the bathhouse. Hayato and Takeshi couldn't help but noticed they were walking through a long hallway. The bathhouse didn't look that big from the outside, but inside it was becoming incredibly large! Kimiki at last comes to what looked like to be a door to the closet. She takes out an old golden ring with dozens of keys jingling against one another. She finds the key she wanted with practiced ease and unlocks the closet door. She pulls it open and allows them to enter. Stepping through the door they enter a large chamber. The walls, floor and ceiling was made of wood paneling. Carved into the wood were many animals prancing about the room. In the center of the room was a single large, round bathtub made of a dark material that nearly took up the entire floor. There was steamy warm water already filled to the brim of the tub. Kimiki goes to the back wall that was lined with cupboards from the floor to the high ceiling above them. There was ladder that reached up to the wooden storage units within the cupboards. Kimiki opens and closes several wooden storages take out fresh or dried leaves and herbs and dropping them into her apron that she held out to hold them.

"Boys, remove her clothes and place her into the tub!"

Mamoru takes Tsunami from Takeshi, lowers her to the floor and removes her clothes till she was completely naked. He lowers her into the tub and holds her head over the water to rest it on the edge. Kimiki completes her herb gathering and tosses the leaves and herbs into the water.

"Her soul was nearly drained! That must have been some spirit that she was battling with!"

"It wasn't a spirit, ma'am," said Reborn. "It was living human."

The Tejinaka cousins and Kimiki stare at the baby stunned.

"What do you mean, Reborn-sensei?" asks Mamoru.

"All I can say is that the person Tsunami encountered has a dangerous ability. I won't understand it until Tsunanmi is revived and answers some questions. How long will it be until she wakes up?"

"Tsunami is a strong girl. She doesn't look it, but she is," Kimiki smiles. "We'll let the herbs and leaves work their magic, it maybe a few hours before she will wake up. But," Kimiki's eyes twinkle. "Time within these walls works different here."

"We are in a pocket dimension of time and space." Said Mamoru.

It was Reborn, Hayato and Takeshi's turn to be confused.

"Kimiki-san is a fox. A very skilled fox that has been around for a very long time. She has the ability to control time and space. She can manipulate time. She has casted a spell within this room. For us, hours may seem to be going by. But outside the room, time is moving normally by the minute. Every hour here is possibly a few minutes in the outside world."

"N-no way!" Hayato was in awe.

Kimiki heads to the door and prepares to leave, "I'll come back with futons and blankets. I'm sure you all don't want to be too far from Tsunami-chan. I hope everything is all right! It must've been pretty big if Shini told humans to bring Tsunami-chan to me."

Kimiki shuts the door to find bedding for them. Mamoru looks at Tsunami before turning an angry gaze on the humans in the room.

"Alright, talk! What happened? I want to at least know something of what you all have seen!"

"Yeah, and where's Aunt Shini? Why didn't she come back with you? Is she with that dangerous guy you were talking about?"

"Yeah," Hayato looks away. "She…stayed behind so we could take Tsunami away. That bastard…Mukuro! He did something to her that made her like this!"

"He mentioned something about taking her body for revenge."

Mamoru and Takehiko frown, "Taking her body?" they repeat.

"Rokudo, Mukuro is a criminal." Reborn stood with his back towards them. "I called someone for information. I was informed that there was a jailbreak from a Mafia prison. Several people escaped from there. Three of them fled here to Japan. They were looking for Tsunami."

"What? Criminal? Mafia?" Takehiko scratches his head, "What do those things have to do with Tsunami?"

"I'll explain everything in full…once Tsunami wakes up."

They all looked to Tsunami, lying in the tub amongst the herbs and leaves. She was starting to look better, but her face was crinkled up into a frown. Tsunami whimpers and turns her head to the side. Mamoru leans over her and holds her head up gently.

"Tsunami-chan…"

"Shini…" she whimpers. "Shini…"
