A spiral portal opened before the guardian's eyes as two red velvet sacks appeared. There was movement in them, before Ashley managed to open her sack and climb out. Her hair all frizzed. She gave a glare before picking up the bag once more and reached in pulling out her santa hat. As she placed it upon her head, her hair returned to it's natural smoothness. Out of the corner of her eye she spotted Bunny's jaw dropped and closed once more. A light pink rose to her cheeks before she caught the shake of North's head.
"Can I get some help here?" Lena asked in annoyance as she continued her struggle to be free.
"Yeah, I'm coming!" Ashley responded quickly as she went over to her friend. There she opened the bag and let the dragon woman out of her red velvet prison.
As Lena crawled out the girl heard North's cheery voice. "How's trip?"
"Yeah, it was great. We love being stuffed in sacks and tossed through a magic portal," Lena responded sarcastically with a roll of her eyes.
"My thoughts exactly," Jack agreed with a nod.
From behind them, rather large footsteps were heard as Phil came up to the girls. He then proceeded to rant in yetish. Ashley just raised a brow as Lena began to try to calm the creature down.
"Phil! Phil! It's ok, we don't blame you," She tried to reason. Phil nodded and slowly walked away, continuing his work that North gave him.
Ashley had nodded before folding her arms. "Since we are here, why don't we get our things Lena,"she asked.
"Um Ashley. They are still at the castle," Lena stated. "We were kidnapped before we could grab them," she continued as she looked at North. He gave a small grin.
Her friend then gave a cheery laugh,"Not to worry. I can make a portal and we can grab them in a snap."
Lena nodded,"Ok,"
Ashley then took off her hat and plunged her hand into it. After a few moments, she pulled out her giant paintbrush. Getting a few blinks from a couple of the guardians.
"I see the pocket dimensions are working for you," Lena grinned.
"Quite well indeed," She laughed as she started to paint a portal on the opposite wall. At first it came out in drips but slowly it formed to show the view of their beloved castle. "The packages are ready for extraction,"
"I did the food,"North said.
"It's not food, it's presents…" Ashley started.
"Plus a couple batches of Ashley's homemade cookies. i thought you wouldn't mind," Lena added with a grin.
A sparkle was seen in North's eyes and he belched out a joyous laugh. "Then let's get them and set them by the tree."
Ashley, Lena, and the others went in and grabbed the gifts and the cookies. They placed the stuff under the tree in a neat and organized way for the next morning. As they were about to sit down to eat, Enya came out from Lena's long braid. She then started to squeak into her ear.
Lena laughed,"Oh, there you are."
North rose a brow,"Tooth who is new friend?"
"She's not mine North," Toothiana laughed as she watched the two talk amongst themselves.
Lena quickly turned to the two. "No, she's mine," she mentioned. "Her name is Enya," She exclaimed to them how it all happened. North, Sandy, and Bunny were all a bit surprise but they were happy to see that they had a new friend.
North was motioning to his yeti's where to place each present into the sleigh like a game of Tetris. Phil was talking to the girls a bit away. Of course Lena was translating everything he said to Ashley. In return she nodded and answered accordingly. They were saying how everyone else was a bit busy, though none was busier than that of North. Bunny had went back to his warren to start coloring his eggs early. Tooth had to fly, her fairies had called her back to work till the next day. Sandy had to bring dreams to the kids in the southern hemisphere.
It wasn't long before North had finished packing. he turned to look at the girls. "Girl's come here for a moment,"he said.
The girls shared a look before saying goodbye to Phil and headed over to North.
"Vhat do you two think about helping me out tonight?" North questioned with a grin. Jack had listened to the conversation before leaning over the railing of the sleigh with a big smile on his face. He was coming along to help bring the Christmas snow.
"Sure, that would be awesome!" Ashley stated in an excited moment.
"YES!" Lena exclaimed with a laugh.
"Then come on, the night is young," He chuckled before climbing into his ride. Ashley and Lena nodded before climbing in after him. Lena decided to stand next to North, while Ashley sat down a bit away. Enya had flew back into her master's hair and tried to stay there as the sleigh began to move. It wasn't long before the speed got the best of Ashley and she flew over her chair and almost out of the sleigh. Luckily Jack was there, for her pulled her to safety. She smiled her thank you to him. After everything was settled, she could hear her friend laughing at the top of her lungs as they began to do loop de loops. Not too far down the icy tunnel was the light, soon it got bigger and bigger. Before they escaped, North cracked the reigns making the reindeer go faster. Soon they bolted out of the tunnel like a torpedo, shouts and hollerings followed after them.
