Author's Notes: Well... Writing on my ipad isn't so bad. I still miss my dear tablet, but hey, beggars can't be choosers. And if it's not one thing, it's another: I get my ipad, and my computer breaks. It won't even turn on anymore. *sigh* Anyway, let's get on with the chapter! Yay!
Question of the Day: Oh no! You suddenly woke up in Orochimaru's hideout, and the dirty snake found you laying on the floor! What do you say to stay alive? What do you do?
Answer: I'd try to stay calm and act like I can really help him, so killing me would be invaluable to him. I'd say something like this: "Lord Orochimaru, I know you can kill me in a heartbeat, but I promise you that'd be the wong thing to do. I can help you even better than Kabuto. He may have intel from every village, but I have intel from the future. Keep me alive and I promise you, you won't regret it." He'll probably ask questions, and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities - and maybe even add a little more to build his trust. (But not too much because I don't want him to kill me after I tell him everything, and I don't want to help him TOO much.)
Summary: Imagine your favorite anime. You love it, right? Would you love to live there forever, though? Jalen, a 12 year old boy, doesn't. But is the Naruto world as unreal as he thought? Or is the "real world" as real as he thought? Will he survive? Will he ultimately mess up the storyline? Only time, and a substantial amount of sulking, will tell. Rated T for language. OC Self-insert

Grey Eyes
Chapter 29
Monday, June 23rd
"Humph." Sakura walks away from the murder scene, fists clenched. Both Naruto and Konohamaru are laying on the ground, their heads covered in bruises and knots. The younger boy even has tears flowing down his face! Does Sakura know she just beat up the Hokage's grandson to tears?
I shake my head when both boys get off the ground, clutching their heads in pain.
Konohamaru groans. "I don't even think she's human!" He looks up at Naruto, who also has tears in his eyes. "Did you see how wide her forehead is?!"
I laugh on instint...but then a cold chill goes through my body. I stop and turn around...to see Sakura staring at us, a tick mark on her forehead. D-Did...she hear that..?
Everything's quiet. We all stare at her as she stares at us.
Then she charges.
"Ahhhh!" We all scream in terror as we try to get away from the raging bull that is Sakura Haruno. She did hear him! Dammit, Konohamaru!
Suddenly, Konohamaru somehow gets ahead of us and turns a corner. And then he yelps in pain. We all turn the corner to see Konohamaru on the ground...and two teenagers, a boy and a girl, staring down at him in annoyance.
"Do you need something?" The boy asks, wearing all black. A mummy-like thing is on his back like some sort of backpack.
Sakura rushes beside us, a shocked look on her face. Naruto looks shocked, too. Why? Okay, Konohamaru ran into two strange-looking people. Say sorry and move on, sheesh.
"We don't need anything," I speak up, and then I see his forehead protector. It doesn't have the Hidden Leaf's sign on it, though. So they're ninja, but from where?
I tense up, hand resting close to my dagger. Please don't tell me they're with Orochimaru...
"Do you need something?" I prompt, trying to sound casual.
The boy's answer shocks me. He abruptly grabs Konohamaru from the ground by his collar, picking him up so they're face to face. Konohamaru looks pained. Damn, he got a hostage!
"Konohamaru!" Naruto yells, and every bone in my body tells me to charge ahead and fight, but...what if they hurt Konohamaru before I get the chance..?
"Put him down, Kankuro," the blonde girl says, her forehead protector around her neck. "Or you know you'll pay for it later." Wait...so she doesn't want a hostage? Are they not working for Orochimaru? Why are they here then? Who are they? And why is that Kankuro boy hurting Konohamaru?
"Hey, I'm sorry," Sakura says now. "The whole thing was my fau-"
"Stop, Sakura," I mumble. "There's no reason for you to apologize." I don't know nor care who they are then. I'm just not gonna let them stand there and bully us in our own village! "Put Konohamaru down," I demand.
"YEAH!" Naruto agrees angrily. "YOU BETTER TAKE YOUR HANDS OFF HIM RIGHT NOW!"
Kankuro smirks, ignoring us. "We've got a few minutes before he gets here. Let's mess with these punks, huh?" He's talking to his female companion, of course.
"Let go of me!" Konohamaru shrieks, kicking the boy's chest. But it's no use; the kicks don't even faze Kankuro.
I'm getting pissed now, and Naruto is, too. It doesn't matter that they're bigger and taller than us, if they don't leave us alone I will hurt them.
I take out my dagger, pointing it straight at the boy. Kankuro looks shocked at first, but then amused.
"You're pretty feisty," he says, and I glare.
"This is my last offer before shit hits the fan," I growl. "Let Konohamaru go or you will suffer."
"I'm not scared of you, kid. You Leaf Genin are wimps," Kankuro says, still smirking. That's it.
I grip my dagger tightly in my hand and charge at him, ignoring Sakura's protests. Naruto's charging, too, right beside me, fists clenched and ready to pummel these punks. Right when we're only a few feet away, I notice Kankuro's hand moving, and I don't see it, but I sense the chakra coming out at us.
Naruto doesn't notice. I don't have the time push him away and dodge at the same time. Damn it, why can't he sense chakra like me?!
I shove the blond to the side, and before I even have time to blink, I feel something tightening around my legs, like string, and pulling me down. "Ah!" Kankuro pulls harder, and I'm brought down to the ground on my back.
"Jalen!" Naruto exclaims, angry and confused. "What the-?! What was that?!"
Kankuro laughs as I get up, pissed beyond belief. It didn't even hurt; he's just playing with us. He thinks we're some joke, a couple of pre-teens way over their heads. Well, I'll show him.
"You saved your pal there, but if it was a real fight, you'd be dead, man," Kankuro lectures in a laughing tone. I suck my teeth, putting my dagger back in it's holster.
"I know that, idiot," I mumble, glaring at him straight in his shady eyes. "But, y'know, I'm gonna give you one more chance. Put that kid down or else."
"YEAH!" Naruto agrees again, heatedly. "LET HIM GO OR WE'LL TAKE YOU APART, FOOL!"
Suddenly, Sakura puts Naruto in a headlock, strangling the hyperactive ninja in a fit of rage. "You two are the fools! Making threats isn't going to help, y'know!"
I turn to Sakura in annoyance. "Gah, shut up! We're trying to do something here! You're just making us look lame!"
"You're annoying," Kankuro suddenly mutters. "All of you." He holds Konohamaru tighter, the kid trembling in fear and pain. "I don't like runts or any other scrawny weaklings. So when wimps like you two start shooting off their mouths..." He grins wickedly. "I just wanna break 'em in half."
Sakura and Naruto gasp. Udon and Moegi start to cry. I don't even blink at his tough guy act. All it does is piss me off even more. I mean seriously, bullying a couple of kids for fun? That's one of the multiple types of people I despise.
The Other Me yawns, uninterested. Then do somethin' about it.
I will.
"Hey, girl," I call out, talking to the blonde chick beside Kankuro. I don't know her name, so I'll just call her blondie.
She looks bored yet strangely annoyed at me. "What?"
"You aren't gonna do anything about this?" I ask. I already know her answer, but I don't wanna do something drastic without knowing if I'm completely right or not.
She sighs, looking away. "Hey, I'm not involved in any of this, okay?"
I nod. Good. Guilty by association.
"Okay, that's great. Can you answer me this, though?" I ask, smiling innocently. They'll never suspect a thing. "What village are you in right now?" Naruto and Sakura both look towards me, shocked. They know exactly what I'm about to do to these retards.
"Is that some sort of trick question?" Blondie asks incredulously. "The Hidden Leaf Village, wh-?" She freezes. Kankuro freezes. I smirk, stepping forward, feeling the familiar sting in my now-red eyes.
Now that I have them right where I want them, should I mess them up, or should I just tell them to get lost?
...After long consideration, I choose the latter. I honestly don't even wanna see them ever again.
"HA! Those idiots fell for it, Jalen!" Naruto exclaims, putting his arm around my shoulders cheerily. He's careful not to look in my eyes, though. "So what should we do to them? Huh? Huh?"
"Nothing," I respond, taking bigger breaths than usual. I hardly feel faint anymore when I use my eye ability, but God damn it takes away quite a bit of chakra. "We just need...to get...Konohamaru back..."
He nods, as if he doesn't even notice my state of vertigo. "Okay! Okay! C'mon, hurry before they're back to normal!" Sakura's quiet, I note, but it's not like I really care. Sometimes (most of the time), it's better when she's quiet.
I inhale...before exhaling. I know I don't have much time left by the way they're twitching. "Okay. You, Kankuro, put Konohamaru down right now." Automatically, his grip on Konohamaru falters, and the kid falls to the ground a bit too hard - but hey, he'll live.
"Thanks, Jalen!" The kid exclaims, getting up and rushing over to us. "You're so cool! So much cooler than the boss!"
"HEY!"
I smile, feeling the sting in my eyes going away, and my chakra depletion going away, too. Crap... I wasted too much time. Well, at least Konohamaru's away from that jerk.
Speaking of that jerk: "Hey! How'd you do that?!" He shouts now that he's not frozen anymore. His face is red and he looks really mad. "I hate wimps that have to do stupid tricks to get ahead!"
"Isn't that what you did when you tripped me?"
"That's different!" He takes off his mummy-backpack, a patch of messy brown hair at the top. Is there something dangerous inside the bandages? Is he gonna rip it off?
I tense up again, preparing myself for a fight. I may not be 100% right now, but with Naruto and Sakura backing me up, I think we'll be able to hold our own. Especially if the blonde girl doesn't join in.
Blondie blinks, looking at her teammate incredulously. "What? Are you gonna use the Crow for this?" The Crow?
Kankuro doesn't answer; he continues giving me a hard stare, and I glare at him right back. I don't want to add this guy to my kill-list...but...
I hear the voice before I sense the disturbing chakra. "Kankuro," the voice drones, soft yet scary. "Back off."
We all turn to where the voice came from - the tree right beside us. A short red-headed boy with piercing green eyes stares right back at us, a giant...gourd on his back. He's standing on a tree branch, arms crossed, looking almost uninterested in the whole ordeal.
Who is he? Is he with them? How long was he right there? Why didn't I sense him earlier?
I look back at the boy and girl duo in front of me. Blondie gasps, looking over-dramatically shocked. Kankuro trembles, stuttering out words. "Uh... Uh, h-hey, Gaara..."
So his name is Gaara, huh? Sounds almost familiar...
His chakra reminds me of something, too. Something I do not want to feel ever again...
"You're an embarrassment to our village," Gaara says, emotionless eyes now stabbing through Kankuro. "Have you forgotten the reason we came all the way here?" I'd like to know that reason myself.
"Uh, I know," Kankuro spits out nervously. Why is he so scared now?! "I-I-I mean... They challenged us... They started the whole thing, really."
Really? We did? "Don't lie!" I shout, pointing a finger at him. "You basically attacked us!"
"No we didn't!" Kankuro yells, then turns back to Gaara. "I-I mean... See, here's what happened-"
Gaara interrupts the lying idiot. "Shut up." Kankuro does just that, shivering. Gaara's not done, though: "Or I'll kill you."
...Okay then. This is pretty awkward. It's like a son getting caught bullying by his mother. His scary, homicidal mother.
"Uh, right, I was...totally out of line," Kankuro admits, hands up. His blonde teammate does the same, even though she's not even being threatened. "I-I'm sorry, Gaara; I...was...totally out of line."
I hold in a laugh at how pathetic they look now. Just a minute ago, Kankuro was saying how much he hates wimps, but what's he supposed to be? Is he not acting wimpy now?
Gaara turns to us now, and I notice Sakura freeze up. Is she scared? What's to be scared of? This guy is a badass!
"I'm sorry...for any trouble he caused," the red-head apologizes. I grin, waving it off.
"Aww, that's okay!" I reply, snickering. "Just make sure you keep an eye on your pets from now on. I almost had to mess 'em up!" Kankuro and Blondie glare at me, but I pay them no mind. They've just lost all my interest at the way Gaara handled them; I know now that they're nothing important.
Even though this Gaara guy has an evil look in his eye, and his chakra really disturbs me, I have no problem associating with him. As long as he continues to keep his two lackies in check, we're cool!
The red-head nods at me before...dissolving in sand...and ending up getting put back together right in front of Kankuro and Blondie.
...Eh?
"Let's go. We didn't come here to play games," Gaara reminds the two.
"A-Alright, sure," Kankuro mumbles, turning to walk away. "I get it."
Before they can get two steps in, however, Sakura rushes up. "Hold on!" They stop for half a second...before walking again. This pisses Sakura off. "Hey!"
They finally stop. "What?" Blondie asks, back turned to us. They better not try to act all badass now; they've lost that privilege when Gaara came.
"I can tell from your headband...that you come from the Village Hidden in the Sand," Sakura states. Oh, so that's where they're from. "Of course the Land of Fire and the Land of Wind are allies, but no shinobi can enter another's village without permission." Sakura Haruno, ever the rule book. She takes a threatening step forward. "So state your purpose, and it better be good."
At this, the three Sand ninja turn to face us, their reactions mixed. Kankuro looks annoyed, Gaara looks uncaring, and Blondie looks smug.
"Really? Have you all been living under a rock or what?" Blondie smirks, hands at her hips. "You really don't know what's been going on, do you? We have permission." As soon as the words leave her mouth, she takes out an I.D card, her picture and name on the front.
I squint to read it. Temari of the Desert, huh?
"Of course, you're correct. We are Hidden Sand Genin. Our home is the Land of the Wind," Temari clarifies. "And we're here for the Chūnin Exams. Get the picture?"
Inside, something clicks. So we'll be going against them in the Chūnin Exams?
Naruto and Sakura look confused. Of course they don't know about the exams; our sensei is a forgetful lazy ass.
"I didn't know other villages were coming for the exams," I mumble, looking away from her superior gaze. "I thought every village had their own."
"Wait, what's the Chūnin Exams?" Naruto whispers to me. I give him a look telling him later, but he doesn't get it, and turns back to the trio. "Well, I've never heard of any Chūnin Exams - believe it."
Temari chuckles. "Oh I believe it alright - that you're totally clueless."
I turn away from them and grab Naruto's shoulder, turning him away from them, too. I get closer and whisper, "The Chūnin Exams are the exams that every Genin have to take to become Chūnin. Don't look so clueless in front of our competition, 'kay?" The blond nods, face now determined.
"Will we be in the exams, too?"
"Of course."
"Heh! We'll totally kick ass in them!"
"Of course!"
"Hey." Gaara's voice interrupts our short conversation. I look up dully. Back to the trio of Sand-nin. "Tell me: How did you make Kankuro let go of that boy?" Ah, he was here for that? Why did I not sense him?!
I shrug, looking away again. He's cool for putting Kankuro in his place, but I'm not just gonna tell him all my Jutsu. If he knew, he'd definitely use it against me.
Not to mention his chakra still creeps me out.
"Tell me," he growls. I make a face. Is this guy trying to force me?
"Uh, no," I say, trying to get my point across that I'm not an idiot. "Why don't you tell me what's in that mummy-backpack-thing Kankuro carries around, or why not tell me why you carry around that big gourd?"
Gaara stares at me, his face deadpanned. I try to do the same, intent on making sure this guy - and his lackies - know that I am not scared of them. I've been through too much to be scared of a couple of teens.
"What's your name?" He then asks, slowly.
"Jalen Uzumaki," I say proudly, smirking. I hear Naruto humph beside me.
He nods, Temari and Kankuro both frowning beside him. "My name is Gaara of the Desert."
"HI THERE!" Naruto exclaims loudly, grinning as he points a thumb at himself. "I bet you're dying to know my name, right?"
Gaara doesn't skip a beat. "I couldn't care less."
Before Naruto could feel hurt, I speak up. "This guy's my brother, though, and if there's anyone stronger than me - it's him!"
Gaara turns around, his two teammates copying him. After a while, he asks, "What is your name?"
"NARUTO UZUMAKI!" My brother shouts, almost bursting my eardrums. "AND YOU BETTER BELIEVE IT!"
"..." Without another word, Gaara jumps away, his two pets obviously following him, leaving all of us a bit confused and stunned.
I turn to them, frowning a bit. "Well, that was something..." Konohamaru nods, Moegi sighs, and Udon just looks to the ground. Sakura just stares at me while Naruto shrugs.
"Hiya!"
I turn around...to see a girl our age with long blue hair and grey eyes. She's wearing a black shirt with a blue and white jacket on. Her black pants are pretty short...but white bandages cover up most of her legs. Her headband is on her hip, a musical note ingraved on it. So she's not from the Leaf, either...
"Hi..?" I tilt my head in confusion. "Something you want?"
"Well, I'm sorry to bother you and all, but do you know where Sasuke Uchiha is? I thought I'd find him here but he's not! Isn't that crazy?" She seems kinda cheery. Too cheery for my tastes...though I can't really say that considering Naruto is almost exactly like that. "Anyway, do you know where he is? I really, really, really wanna see him!"
I sigh. She must be one of his obsessed fangirls...
As I expected, Sakura comes butting her head in, smiling bittersweetly at the random girl. "Oh? Who're you and why do you want my Sasuke?"
Naruto comes butting in next. "And why do you want him?! Why not me?!"
The blue haired girl completely ignores Naruto and stares at Sakura, a small smile glued on her face. Sakura smiles back heatedly...before the girl asks, "How did you get that scar on your chest?"
...Eh?
Sakura's smile instantly goes away, replaced by a confused look. "Huh?"
"It looks bad," the girl continues, moving closer to Sakura. "You must've just escaped death when you got it, huh? Lucky you..."
The girl goes to touch Sakura's scar, and just as quickly Sakura smacks her hand away, face red. "You..! I..! N-No..!" With an irritated huff, the pinkette storms away, leaving Naruto and I alone with this weird girl. Konohamaru and his little crew have somehow gotten away from us without us noticing.
The blue haired girl shrugs before looking back at me, big grey eyes blinking innocently. Y'know, getting over her slight creepiness, she's kinda cute.
Too bad she likes Sasuke, though. That really makes her lose a lot of points.
"Anyway, do you know where Sasu- Sasuke is?" She asks again, making some sort of mistake at the end. "I really, really need to see him! Y'see, I thought he'd be here, but for some reason you're here and that's not at all what I was expecting! So if you could just tell me where he is, I'd be very thankful!"
"Uhh..." Gah, I made a mistake. Naruto's not even this cheerful. This girl just screams innocence and for some reason it's kinda annoying... "My guess would be that he's training..." I smirk. "I mean, after I told him off earlier, he stormed off in a fit of rage. He's probably training his butt off right now just to get stronger than me."
She suddenly looks disappointed. "Oh...but...isn't Sasuke already stronger than you?" Eh?!
"Of course not!" Naruto exclaims, arm around my shoulders. Oh, I almost forgot he was here. "Jalen's a hundred times better than that bastard!"
She twitches. "O-Oh..." Her smile seems awfully forced now. We probably shouldn't have said that. "Anyway, I'll go look in the Training Grounds! Thanks!"
Before she can leave, though, I realize something. "Hey! What's your name?"
"Just call me Rose," she answers, and then she's gone off to find Sasuke. I snort. Crazy girls these days...
Naruto blinks beside me. "She was...weird."
I nod. "Yeah."
We turn to each other, and then there's this awkward silence. Sasuke's not here to piss off, Kakashi-sensei's not here to piss us off, Sakura's not here to...do whatever Sakura does...
What do we do now then? It's still pretty early...
"Wanna get some ramen?" Naruto ask, and I nod with a smile. Food sounds really good right now...
"...Ah, but let's go home first. I think I need another shower..."
He looks at me in confusion...before looking down at my foot. His mouth widens in realization and he nods. I sigh, feeling another shiver of rage go through my body. That stupid fucking dog...
Thursday, June 26th
It's early. Too, too early.
Kakashi-sensei just has this weird idea that he can come to our apartment in the middle of the night and tell us to head to the bridge at 7:00 in the morning. Nonetheless, we got up early anyway...at exactly 7:00. If we didn't leave then, we'd be late. Naruto wanted to leave as fast as possible, but I wasn't having it.
"That stupid man will be hours late anyway," I told him, yawning irritably. "I'm going to brush my teeth, take a shower, and eat my breakfast. And you are, too."
And we did. Now, though, we're an hour late to the meeting, which Naruto's freaking out over.
"Come on, Jalen! Run faster, faster!" Naruto shouts, albeit pulling me into a run with him. If I run any faster, I'd be defying the laws of speed or something! I think, but continue running anyway. We are late, and if Kakashi-sensei is already there for some reason...
Well, I'd be pretty pissed.
We make it to the bridge, and for a moment I don't expect to see anyone there. But then I see Sakura, her hair a mess, and then I see Sasuke leaning on the railing, looking down at the water below.
Kakashi-sensei's nowhere to be seen. Good.
"You two are late!" Sakura screeches, but she doesn't seem to have that same effect with her voice as usual. I shrug as Naruto apologizes profusively. "No! It's not fair! Why?! Why?! Why?! It's always the same!"
"We aren't always late..."
"Not you, stupid! Kakashi-sensei!" She explains, stomping. Well... Somebody's having a breakdown... "He sets the time and we have to wait hours for it!"
"Y-Yeah!" Naruto agrees, realizing Sakura isn't mad at us but more-so sensei. "It's not fair!"
"What about my feelings?!" She continues. "I didn't even have time to blow-dry my hair!"
"We had that time and more," I say absently, whistling to myself. "Maybe you should start being late, too, Sakura."
She nods, determined glint in her eyes. "I think I will."
"We'll all be late!" Naruto shouts, fist pumping the air. "That'll show him!"
"It's good to see that my team is conspiring against me first thing in the morning," says Kakashi-sensei, appearing out of nowhere and smiling good-naturedly at us. "Anyway, sorry I'm late. I'm afraid I got lost on the path of life-"
"YOU LIAR!" For a ninja, he sure can't lie!
He hops down in front of us and puts his hand in an official-looking Tiger Seal. "I know this is a bit sudden, but I've recommended you for the Chūnin Exams. All three of you." Finally. But wait. He said three..?
"You mean four?" I ask and he shakes his head.
"Anko was the one who recommended you," he explains, taking out three slips of paper. "These are the application forms. Get yours from Anko, Jalen."
"Wait, application forms..?"
"You're repeating me, Sakura. This is all voluntary; it's up to each of you. If you don't feel ready, you can wait 'till next year."
Naruto rushes up and jumps on Kakashi-sensei, hugging the man tight. "ALRIGHT! KAKASHI-SENSEI,YOU ROCK!" I notice Naruto's a hugger.
"Hey, d-don't slobber on my vest!" The man chastises, pushing the blond off him. He recomposes himself before giving Naruto his application form. "Whoever wants to take the exams, sign the application and come to room 301 in the academy. It's at 3 PM, five days from now. That's it."
He gives Sakura and Sasuke their forms, Naruto laughing cheerily in the background. "Chūnin Exams~! Chūnin Exams~!"
Yes. We're all finally participating in the Chūnin Exams.
I look over at Sakura, who's staring at her form with thin lips, a drop of sweat rolling down her face.
...But...maybe we all shouldn't take it...
Saturday, June 28th
Three more days. Just three more days until the Chūnin Exams.
I got my application from Anko-sensei on the same day Naruto got his. She basically Body Flickered in front of me, threw it in my face, and then told me to meet her at our dumpling spot on Saturday - today.
"I'm leaving now, Naruto," I tell him, running out the door. He grumbles, still asleep in bed. Yesterday, he said he was attacked by some Rain ninja and had to save Moegi. Now he's just exhausted, so he's sleeping in today.
I walk down the village streets and smile a bit at the civilians. Sure, they hardly smile back at me, but I don't really want them to ruin my mood. Their whispers breeze right by me.
"That's the one always hanging with that fox brat!"
"Oh, isn't he that snake girl's apprentice?"
"The one that was with Orochimaru, right?"
"Yeah, I think so!"
Stupid. All of them. I easily pinpoint the two idiots whispering about me and look in their direction. The two ladies both freeze...and I smile at them, walking faster.
I snort when they breathe a breath of relief. So dumb...
I make it to our favorite dumpling spot - Dump Yer Lings! - and walk inside, waiting for the purple haired psycho. The waiter - a skinny man with light brown hair and a cheery smile - comes over and smiles.
"You're waiting for Ms. Mitarashi, Mr. Uzumaki?" Of course he knows me by heart.
"Yeah."
"Well, I'll get you a seat and tell her where you are when she gets here, okay?"
I nod, grinning a bit. This man is just so nice! "Thank you."
He shrugs, motioning for me to follow him as he finds me a seat. "Anything for a regular and a shinobi. You're basically keeping me alive."
I laugh a little. "Well, I don't think I'm that good - nor that important." And with all the people I've murdered, none of them threatening your life, I don't think I deserve your kindness.
He leads me to an empty table for two - far away in the corner away from everyone else. I raise a brow. Why so secluded?
"Ninja need their privacy of course," he answers my question before I can even ask it. Employee of the year, people?
I laugh again. "And what if there are cameras back here? This just seems like some poorly done trap," I joke, still chuckling to myself.
"Heh. You're right." Suddenly, he grabs my shoulder, clutching it hard. I pull away on instinct and stare at the man in shock as he starts to...transform.
The man transforms into a shady-looking Rain ninja and points a kunai straight at my throat. I don't even gasp. The imposter sneers as I slowly put my hands up...
And kick him straight in the balls.
...I just can't get a break, can I?
Author's Notes: Hiya, guys! I hope this update sufficed your hunger and stuff! I actually enjoyed writing this chapter, and the ending doesn't even feel as rushed as it usually does! ^_^ I have some important info that you all might want to know, though.
I'm finally over at my auntie's house, and you know what that means, don't you? Yep! No internet! :D
=_= This means that I can write all I want, but I can't update as soon as I finish. Alas, that means you might have to wait longer than you need to.
"How are you updating now then?" you may ask. Well, I should go over my godmother's house every Friday, and I'll be able to update over there - cuz she has internet.
There won't be an R.T.R for a while either because I can't do that for the limited time I'm over there, and there's no way I'll be able to see reviews at my auntie's because there's no internet. So... Yeah. I will see the reviews when I get there, though, so if it's something really important I'll try to reply back via pm.
And...yeah. That's it. :|

Bye-nii?
