(AN: I'm so sorry everyone that this update took what seemed like forever. Well trust me I wanted to get this chapter out maybe 2-3 weeks ago, but no my computer had to have a different plan by crashing down and needed a repair. The important thing now is it's taking care of and the new and real chapter that is 29th one is finally here. I hope you enjoy this chapter: To Endure Alone.)

"Jack can I see you in my office please?" Rudy asked as he peaked his head out of his office.

Jack headed into the office and sat down on the sofa.

"Is everything okay Rudy?" Jack had asked curiously.

"Ah yes, I just wanted to let you know that Bobby is holding a business meeting in L.A. and now that you're an assistant sensei, I think you should come you know get the feel of how the business side of it works," Rudy explained.

"Are you kidding I'd be honored to go Rudy," Jack said with excitement.

"Great, we'll be there for about three days so it will be a couple of night overs there," Rudy mentioned.

"Thanks Rudy, I can't wait to tell Jerry. Oh he's going to be very excited to go," Jack thought.

"Jack, I'm sorry, but this is a business meeting and Jerry is only a student. I'm afraid he's going to have to stay here," Rudy announced.

"So you're telling me that I have to be apart from Jerry for three days if I go," Jack clarified.

"Hum, yeah pretty much," Rudy replied without any hesitation.

"I don't know Rudy, I'll have to talk with Jerry about it first," Jack expressed.

"Jack, this is almost a one time chance I'm giving you here. You're dream is to become a sensei and I don't really think you should let your feelings get in the way of that dream. Look, I know you love him and all that, but don't let Jerry hinder you on your dreams," Rudy expressed back.

"My feelings of my relationship with Jerry have...look, I just need to talk to him about this first is all okay before I do choose to go," Jack declared with a slight flare in his voice.

"Fine, by all means talk to him. I'll be here for your waiting answer," Rudy implied as he leaned back into his chair.

Jack stood up giving Rudy a mild glare before he left out of the office. He really wanted to tear at him for the unneeded comments he had to endure. Jack slid his hand across Jerry's back as he walked passed him. Jerry looked to his right to see Jack at the exit signaling him over.

"Yo, what's up wait is something wrong Jack?" Jerry greeted before noticing Jack's current expression.

"Don't worry about it. I'm just letting you know I'm heading home, you can stay if you want," Jack said lightly.

"Okay, I'll go with you just let me get my bag quick," Jerry replied, before running over to his locker.

Jerry walked back up to Jack with his bag in hand. The two then walked off in the direction to Jack's house. Jerry kept looking back at Jack a few times still having the same expression on his face. He placed his hand in with Jack's and gave him a half smile, but still a comforting smile nonetheless.

"Sure you don't want to talk about what's bothering you?" Jerry implied.

Jack smirked then rested his head a bit on Jerry's shoulder.

"I'll tell you when we get home and you're doing so much for me already right now," Jack said kindly.

Soon they reached back to the house and quickly settled down on the living room sofa.

"So what happened back there?" Jerry asked, breaking the silence between them.

"Rudy," Jack began with a sigh. "There's this meeting coming up and Rudy wants me to attend," Jack announced with hint of uncertainty.

"So go to it then Jack," Jerry suggested forcefully.

"You don't understand what Rudy said to me, Jerry," Jack said, lightly raising his voice.

"Tell me about it then," Jerry insisted.

"Rudy told me he thinks our relationship is hindering me, thinks you are a hinder to me. I was so mad, I had to force myself not to burst," Jack explained.

"I thought he was okay with us being together," Jerry wondered.

"I thought so too, Jerry. Now I'm not even sure what to think," Jack replied.

The next day at the dojo, Jack arrived crossing paths with Rudy.

"Jack, have you made up your mind about the meeting?" Rudy asked almost impatiently.

"We need to talk," Jack insisted with a rough tone to his voice.

Rudy gestured a hand towards his office. They both sat down as the room tension became more noticeable.

"I have maybe considered going on of two conditions," Jack spoke sharply. "Such as?" Rudy asked.

"First an apology from you for yesterday," Jack demanded. "and that you allow Jerry to come with," he added, but more softer.

"You're right about yesterday my wording was not in the right term of words so I'm sorry about that, however, I just can't part with the second one, Jack," Rudy expressed.

"Okay looking away of all the things Jerry's done in the past, why are you so against him from coming along?" Jack pleaded.

"Listen Jack, it's nothing of what he's done or not. This meeting alone will feature many sensei from the Bobby Wasabi chain and do you know what that could mean for you if you come? This will help further your dream and if you have Jerry there with you, Jack he'll only be a distraction. Trust me I've seen how you two goo goo eye each other. Just think on what I've said okay," Rudy explained.

"Okay I get what you're saying now," Jack said with a little sigh. "and Jerry and I do not goo goo eye one another," Jack protested.

"Sure you keep telling yourself that Jack," Rudy teased.

Jack came back to the house about twenty minutes later. He stumbled in the living room to see Jerry all stretched out onto the couch watching his favorite show Snail with a Perm. Jack walked over to him then picked up Jerry's legs and dropped 'em to the floor so he could sit down; despite the number of other areas there were to sit at.

"Yo, I was comfortable you know," Jerry complained.

"Well now you can get comfortable with me sitting next you now," Jack teased. "We need to talk anyway though," Jack mentioned.

"Can't it wait Snail with a Perm is on right now," Jerry nagged.

"Nope," Jack responded by grabbing the remote shutting the T.V. off in the process.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Jerry barked. "It's important okay and besides I may reward you for it," Jack insisted with another tease.

"What good does that do me Jack? I can kiss you anytime," Jerry claimed.

"Do you honestly wanna test that theory?" Jack tested. "No-ooo." Jerry answered in a low pitched tone.

"Good, anyway about that meeting I've mentioned," Jack began. "Yeah, what you going to it?" Jerry asked. "Maybe, but I need to talk to you about it and know what you think okay," Jack replied. "So here's the thing the meeting is in L.A. and it's for three days and Rudy only wants me to go because it'll help me further understand the business of the dojo and on becoming a sensei, but if you don't want me to go I won't for I don't want you not to have a say in it," Jack explained.

"I think you should go Jack," Jerry encouraged. "Really?" Jack said in surprise.

"Yeah if it helps with getting further to your dream then who am I to get in your way," Jerry praised.

"Wow, thanks Jerry," Jack said gratefully. "You sure you'll be okay with three days on your own?" Jack lightly questioned.

"Of course I mean if something happens I can turn to Milton or Kim right," Jerry thought.

"Okay, if you're really sure of this then I guess I'll tell Rudy I'm going," Jack said lightly.

After a couple of days, Rudy arrived up to Jack's house for the day has come for him and Jack to depart from Seaford and on to L.A. Milton and Kim were also at Jack's house readying to say goodbye to him. Even though Jerry gave Jack the okay to go, he was now feeling the impact that Jack wouldn't be around for three full days. Milton and Kim both said their temporary goodbyes to him. Jack then turned to Jerry for theirs.

"Well this is it I guess," Jack said with a minor laugh. "I guess so," Jerry said lightly.

"Now remember if I don't answer my phone its cause I'm in a meeting, but I promise I'll call when I can okay," Jack assured.

Jerry nodded in response. Jack leaned in to hug him goodbye with Jerry doing the same.

"I love you," Jack said heartily. "I love you too," Jerry replied heartily as well.

The two lightly pulled apart to give one another a goodbye kiss. Jack pulled away shortly after then picked up his bag.

"Well I'll see ya guys three days from now. Later," Jack said with a wave goodbye gesture.

"Goodbye Jack, see you soon," Kim waved back. "Bye Jack," Milton said shortly after.

Jack opened the back car door to set his bag in. Jerry looked on trying to hold back tears that were trying to break through. Jack was nearly ready to close the door when suddenly Jerry started running down the sidewalk.

"Jack wait!" Jerry yelled.

Jack spun around to see he and Jerry were once again face to face.

"Jack, I just, just wanted to say," Jerry said nervously. "What is it?" Jack asked.

"I hum oh forget it," Jerry said hastily.

He then grabbed Jack pulling him in for a deep and passionate kiss. Jack, however, taken back from surprise was very eye widen. He peaked his head into the still open car door.

"Rudy, please, please can Jerry come," Jack pleaded only because that last kiss really sparked him.

"Jack," Jerry spoke to get his attention. "I'll miss you, but you'll have fun I know it," Jerry said confidently.

"Well after the way you just kissed me, you just made it harder for me to even want to go now. I'm gonna miss you too Jer," Jack replied softly.

"At least it's not two months and only just three days," Jerry lightly teased.

"True, but still I'll be thinking of you for those three days," Jack replied.

They shared another hug until Rudy started honking the car horn in wanting to get going. They broke apart shortly after with Jack getting into the passenger's side door. Kim and Milton now down with Jerry were waving them goodbye as they drove off.

"Alright let's get going Milton," Kim said to him.

"Wait where are you guys going?" Jerry wondered.

"Ah Kim and I have plans today," Milton answered slowly.

"Plans meaning I can't come I take it," Jerry suspected.

"It's nothing personal Jerry, but we've been planing this date for a few weeks and we just came by to say goodbye to Jack," Kim explained.

"Ugh, I get it go have fun or whatever it is you're doing," Jerry said hastily.

"Maybe we'll hang-" Milton began. "No, no don't mind me I can manage fine by myself," Jerry interrupted him.

Both Kim and Milton shrugged in response before they walked off to whatever plans they had enlisted for the day. Jerry then headed back into the house to find whatever he could to preoccupy himself. Hours later spent intent on video games, Jerry finally had enough for he wasn't used to playing them at least not without Jack anyway. After making himself dinner and spending the majority of time watching television within the living room where he would wake the next morning.

He sat up while wiping his eyes to get them into focus. By checking his phone to see the time was mid-morning, but mostly to see if Jack left him a text or a missed call to which there wasn't any. Upon thinking about Jack, Jerry realized the three days without him around was just starting this day. With his phone still in hand he accessed his contacts list hitting on Jack's to send him a text.

Jerry: Hey Jack just seeing how its going so far. I know its still a ways before you come back but I'm already missing you. I'll talk to you soon

Jack: Oh hey sorry I didn't call you as I promised. Rudy & I didn't get into the hotel until late last night but I think thats mostly his fault for taking to many wrong turns. I haven't been gone one day yet and you already miss me. I'm not sure if I should be flattered or worried about that Jer.

Jerry: Wow you responded I wasn't sure you would right away or were even up yet. Don't be worried I'm fine I promise

Jack: Been up for awhile but hey I have to get going be leaving soon to that meeting. Love ya and talk to you real soon okay.

Jerry: Alright talk to you soon as well

Jerry set his phone down onto the coffee table then fell back into the sofa leaving his body all dead limbed. Jerry stared up at the ceiling for some time thinking to himself. He didn't want to admit it to Jack, but he actually now wished he had said no to him about going for he didn't realized Jack's absents would affect him this much.

Meanwhile in L.A. Jack and Rudy drove up to the meeting location. They walked into a conference like room where Bobby and the other sensei have gathered; Jack could recognize some of them from past tournaments.

"Rudy, Jack welcome please take a seat," Bobby greeted them.

Jack and Rudy took a seat around the large table that took most of the room's space. Bobby was readying his speech when the two were shifting into their chairs for comfort.

"First off I would like to welcome you all here. So welcome!" Bobby began. "As you all know today marks our tenth annual golf tournament," he announced as he continued on his speech.

As the words came into contact to Jack's ears he slowly turned to Rudy with an upset glare. Rudy briefly looked at Jack in response with a shrug then turned his attention back towards Bobby with a big smile on his face.

"And so for the next three days we shall compete and whomever wins shall take home this Bobby Wasabi plaque to put on display in their winning dojo," Bobby added in closing while holding out the plaque in his hands.

As the crowd of sensei and Bobby as well started heading out to meet up at the golf course Jack pulled Rudy aside to confront him.

"You lied to me. You said this was supposed to be a business meeting," Jack soured.

"Whaaat?!" Rudy said in his high pitched tone. "Did I say business? I think I meant golf tou-" Rudy started.

"Spare me the shit Rudy, you lied to me," Jack distressed. "Why the hell am I even here for then if this just one big lie?" Jack asked angrily.

"Well a golfer does need a caddie," Rudy admitted to a point.

"You're unbelievable you know that this whole time it was just a ploy for what so you could use me and boss me around," Jack said heatedly. "Give me one good damn reason why I shouldn't go board a bus home and speaking of which I could easily be spending my time with Jerry right now if not for this," Jack barked.

"Alright, alright I shouldn't have lied to you Jack, I'm sorry, but if I told you the truth I knew you wouldn't come," Rudy explained himself. "Please Jack stay and help me it's always been my dream to play in a golf tournament and now is my chance," Rudy pleaded.

"Oh and what about my dream that you said this meeting was suppose to benefit me most of all," Jack countered.

"That part I was telling the truth on you see Jack, I thought if I brought you along as my caddie you could talk with the other sensei to get more insight, you know when they're waiting for their turns," Rudy tried reasoning. "See I wasn't completely thinking of myself," he gloated.

Jack shook his head. "And what of Jerry? Here he's thinking I'm at this big time meeting when it's not I can't imagine how he'd feel if he found out about this feels like I lied to him," Jack expressed.

"Well in all honestly I truly didn't think you'd two would last this long," Rudy admitted.

"You've got to be kidding me. You told me when you found out that he and I had was cute remember now you're telling me you had doubts this whole time. What else are you lying to me about Rudy! No that's it I'm out of here," Jack freaked.

Jack started walking away, but Rudy quickly got in front of him blocking the doorway.

"Jack please I'm begging you help me with this tournament and I'll do anything in return," Rudy pleaded desperately.

"Anything?" Jack questioned. "Yes I swear anything," Rudy agreed.

Jack put on a grin. "Okay, I want a raise," he demanded.

"What a raise?" Rudy signed by surprise. "You said anything," Jack reminded.

"Okay fine now-" Rudy agreed. "And" Jack started. "And?" Rudy questioned.

"Yes and," Jack demanded again. "a nice pay out from you for when Jerry and I go on our next date say fifty dollars," he continued.

"Dah alright I'll give you a raise and pay for your next date now will you please stay and help me," Rudy once again pleaded.

"Yeah I think that covers for the lies, doubts and whatever else you pulled on me today and enough for me to help you," Jack agreed. "Oh thank you Jack," Rudy said happily.

Back in Seaford at Jack's house Jerry continued to mope around the house feeling lost on what to do. He kept struggling trying to get any self peace for the thought missing Jack was really clouding his mind.

"I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do. I don't know what to do," Jerry mumble into thin air almost in a singing tune.

From the kitchen to the living from back and forth Jerry would enter in and out not even realizing it. He seemed so lost without Jack maybe even felt that way too.

"Jack, I really wish you were here right now," Jerry spoke out loud.

He finally managed to sit himself down on the sofa for again that's where he would sleep and wake the next morning. As he got up it was apparent that he was a mess well from on the outside of his appearance he was. He looked like he hadn't seen light for a few days, but that quickly changed after fixing himself up with a shower and some needed grooming.

Meanwhile Kim and Milton were chilling at Falafel Phil's. As they were talking Milton suddenly got a text. He checked his phone to see Jerry had sent it.

"Hey Kim, I think I should go check up with Jerry. He's asking me to hang out and he put five 'pleases' in a row so he must be really board," Milton announced to her.

"That or he just really misses Jack since he can't go a day without any guidance unless Jack is around," Kim mocked.

"Well I think I'll go over and hang with him a bit," Milton decided.

"Don't let me stop you, but just remember Milton don't tell Jerry of any of our secrets and you know which ones," Kim warned.

Milton nodded then headed off over to Jack's house. Jerry gladly opened the door for him upon arriving.

"Yo, thanks for coming Milton, I swear I'm loosing it without Jack here," Jerry thought.

"Can't be that bad this is only the second day and he comes back tomorrow," Milton assured. "By the way where's his parents at?" he asked curiously.

"Well Mr. Brewer is away on business and Mrs. Brewer is still here in town, but staying with Jack's sick grandma until she gets better. Other then that it's just been me and Jack well just me right now anyway," Jerry explained lightly.

"So now that I'm over was there anything in particlar you wanted to do?" Milton asked.

"Jack and I would normally play games," Jerry suggested.

"Ooh I like games. Do you have Trivia Zap or History: Name that Year?" Milton asked with an excited smile.

"I meant actual fun ones like video games," Jerry rephrased.

"My mom won't let near games that appear on a screen, she says they will rot my brain," Milton claimed.

Jerry raised an eyebrow. "Your mom is a whack-a-doo dude," Jerry mocked. "Come on just try it out," Jerry insisted.

Milton gave in and quickly got into the game. After a few hours of gaming they called it quits. Jerry noticed a change to Milton's demeanor like he kept staring at him.

"Milton you okay dude," Jerry asked more on a suspicious note.

"Oh me? Yeah I'm fine it's just that I don't really remember the last time you and I have actually hung out last. You're usually around Jack and I with Kim," Milton replied.

"Yeah about that why Kim anyway just seeing you and her well you know?" Jerry asked a bit too straight forward.

"Well why Jack? The answer is never too clear Jerry. Decides it's not like Kim was my main choice," Milton said mildly peaking Jerry's interest on the matter.

"What do you mean not your first choice?" Jerry asked curiously.

"I already said to much Jerry, I promised Kim I wouldn't say or tell anyone," Milton declared.

"Suit yourself then, Jack and I kind of figured you two had some secrets going on," Jerry teased.

"Well if you're really curious about it I suppose I could show you for Kim never said nothing on about that," Milton implied.

"If you want too then go ahead from what it looks like dude you're eager to tell it to someone in some matter of way," Jerry noticed.

"You don't even know the half of it Jerry," Milton replied.

Milton sat down on the floor next to Jerry.

"You're sure that you want me to show you very positive now," Milton clarified.

"Milton! Just show me what you have too already," Jerry highly insisted.

"Alright," Milton responded.

Milton took a deep breath then looked towards at Jerry and then just like that Jerry found his lips pressed against with Milton's.

To be continued.
