The headmaster was the first to arrive at Gringotts and was briskly ushered into a room just off of the main lobby area. The room was filled with sofas and chairs of the finest wood and coloured leather. The focal point of the room was a beautiful stone fireplace which was currently illuminating the room with both warmth and light.

Dumbledore took a seat in a high backed leather chair which faced the door. A power play yes but most of the people arriving for the will reading already knew him to be their leader. He wanted them to see him first, to come to him for support and guidance but most importantly he wanted them to know that he was the most important person in this room. By taking the head chair he was staking his claim and when it came time to go through to the Will reading chambers he wanted the head chair again. It would have originally gone to Harry as Sirius' Godson but now that Harry Potter was dead he would inherit everything that the boy would have received. He had named himself the boys magical guardian for a reason.

The room stayed empty for quite some time. He had arrived early as he had found sitting in his office mulling over his problems quite tiring. Admittedly he had expected several other beneficiaries to have arrived before now but there was still 30 minutes to go before they would begin. Goblins were always on time.

. . .

"Will you stop pacing Harry!" Dudley called across the cavern, his tone showing his annoyance more than his volume did.

"Sorry Dud, I can't help it. This is it. This is the day when my life will finally start to be mine!" Harry turned to his cousin, a look of wonder on his face. "I just can't decide if I am afraid or excited…" He looked down at his shoes as he scuffed them back and forth over the rough stone.

Dudley looked at his cousin with sadness. Though they had both decided to give brotherhood a try Dudley couldn't seem to forget the brute that he had been. Admittedly it hadn't exactly been his fault that he was such an ass but he felt that his mind, his heart, should have known that his behaviour was wrong and he should have been able to control himself. He worried that he was going to turn out to be just like his father.

"Will you stop scuffing those shoes Harry!" Petunia Dursleys voice echoed throughout the chamber as she walked towards the pair. "Honestly, I wouldn't have bought you such nice shoes if I had known that you planned to destroy them on their first outing." Turning her attention to her son Petunia continued her nagging tirade. "Oh for goodness sake Dudders! Did nobody ever teach you how to tie a tie? You look like your going to cut off your oxygen any minute." She grabbed her sons collar and turned him fully towards her before correcting his atrocious attempt at his tie.

"Don't tempt me…" Dudley mumbled under his breath.

"What was that Dudley?" Petunia's tone was cold and her stare harsh. Harry just snorted glad that her ire was no longer focussed on him.

"I just don't see the point of wearing one, I mean it's not like we can go in with Harry. You're making me dress up to sit in the waiting room." This time it was Dudley grinding his shoes into the floor with worry.

"Aunt Petunia…Dudley…I know you are both scared and you don't have to do this for me bu—"

"We want to be there for you Harry." Petunias voice was soft. Dudley nodded shyly.

"I know you do, thank you. I will be watched over by the Goblins and Bill so you know I will be safe and I have asked you to be watched over by a few Goblins as well." Raising his hand he cut off his Aunt's reply. "Goblins will do anything for gold and Reselda has offered to stay with you also, she can be quite frightening as you well know."

Both Petunia and Dusley shuddered. The past few days had seen a glowing improvement in their relationship with the Goblin nurse but she could still strike fear into you heart with one look from several hundred yards. The humans knew better than to get on her bad side.

Ragnok quickly entered the chamber with Bill following swiftly behind him. "Okay you lot I hope you are ready for this?" He eyed the 3 suspiciously, watching as they each gulped nervously before nodding. "There is no going back now."

Bill clapped his hands together swiftly. "Alright, so here is what is going to happen…"

***Authors Note***

Ok so this is a little bit late, I did promise to have a chapter up before the end of January. My bad. I am sorry it is another small chapter but I have kept you waiting long enough and am going to give you what my brain has managed to come up with. It has been so long since I wrote any of this that I ma having a little bit of trouble putting what I want to happen onto the page. I will keep persevering and will have another (hopefully longer) chapter ready for you in a few weeks.

***Authors Note Part 2***

Thank you to those who reviewed and told me about the mistakes in this chapter. I honestly don't know what happened as I copy and pasted from the right document but it was a hot mess. Mistakes should have all been fixed now. Thank you once again. :)
