A/N: Now we finally get to see what's going on between April and Jareth! Yay! Sorry about all the Disney songs in the last chapter, I was listening to Disney songs while I wrote…

Disclaimer: I do not own any part of Labyrinth.

April and Jareth stayed in the dining room for about five minutes. April tried to tell some jokes, but she had forgotten the punch lines to all of them. Soon Peter found his way down to them. He gave the Goblin King a glare so ferocious that Jareth actually flinched. There is no wrath like the wrath of a father toward a boy who has disappeared with the father's daughter. Jareth was hardly a boy, which fueled Peter's anger further. April's dad plunked down in a chair and stared at the two for a while before he spoke.

"I don't care what these magical rules say, Mr. Goblin King, I want you to send us home, all of us including Sasha, right now. And if you ever mess with my family again I will come after you personally, and that is something you don't want." Peter declared, crossing his arms.

Jareth grinned. "I shall do my best, but my magic is nothing compared to the magic of the labyrinth. If the results are disappointing, well, it is not my fault." He formed a crystal, "Are you sure you know what you want?"

Peter nodded grimly. "Let me get Sarah and Henry and then you can send us."

He went off to get his wife and Henry and came back in a few moments. Sarah looked hurt and April felt bad. She regretted saying certain things to her mother, but she wasn't about to apologize.

Henry avoided April's gaze all together. He knew that this was probably the best when April was in a foul mood. He had of course considered the fact that April seemed to be enjoying spending time with Jareth and that she hadn't said a word to him since she had fallen off the balcony, but he didn't want to say anything until they were all safely home.

"Well," Sarah sniffed as if she had been crying, "Are you going to send us home or not?"

"I shall do my best, precious." Jareth smiled, he took the crystal and threw it at the little group.

Sarah, Henry, and Peter immediately disappeared, but April just faded. She faded and grew less visible slowly, but she didn't vanish. After a few seconds she instantly became completely visible again. She looked down at her hands and frowned.

"Why didn't I go anywhere? For a few seconds it felt like I was back home, but then I came back here…" April stammered.

"The labyrinth's magic kept you here. I could try all I wanted, but I can't send you back, nor can I send Sasha back without her permission. I have told you about the rules, correct?"

"Yes, but I figured that you could send us back if…" She paused, "Oh I don't know! Ugh, I wish that Sasha would hurry up."

"I'm afraid that your friend has been delayed slightly." A deep voice said from the doorway of the dining room.

Jareth spun around. "Father? What are you doing here? I thought you and Mother went home."

"Your mother did. I decided to stay to see what had become of your bride. I thought you said you cast a spell on her." Jareth's father snorted.

"Yes well, apparently it didn't work as well as I hoped." Jareth blushed.

"And what is this nonsense I hear about a little girl running the labyrinth to prevent your marriage? Preposterous!"

"The child wished away her cousin to win her back so that they can all return to the Aboveground."

Jareth's father neared April and looked her over. "There will be no wedding then? Shame. I thought you actually had a chance this time. You should do it as we did in the olden days, get married and ask the bride's opinion afterwards. This ridiculous love notion is ruining you Jareth."

Jareth looked down in shame. "I'm sorry Father, but nothing can be done at this point."

"What a disappointment you can be." Jareth's father grunted.

"Well, that's not a very fatherly thing to say." April noted.

"Excuse me?"

"I mean, as a dad, shouldn't you be encouraging him?" April told the king, "Calling him a disappointment is hardly going to motivate the poor guy."

Jareth's father laughed. "Despite your reaction at the alter to my son, you seem to be developing feelings for him. I'd love to stay and chat with this interesting girl, but I must be off."

He disappeared leaving April yelling at no one: "I do not have feelings for him!"

Jareth cocked an eyebrow but he didn't say anything. He made another crystal and checked on Sasha's progress. She had fallen in an oubliette and was now riding one of the cleaners and whooping excitedly. He frowned as he looked at the images.

If she continues to ride that cleaner through its course she'll be in my basement within the hour! He thought unhappily, How can she possibly be doing so well?

"Where is she?" April inquired, interrupting his thoughts.

"Hmm? Oh Sasha. She has fallen into an oubliette I'm afraid." Jareth made the crystal vanish and looked back up at April.

"An oh-what?"

"A hole in the ground with no way out… unless of course you ask the right questions." He was barely paying attention.

"Great. How far away is she?"

"The oubliette she fell into is rather far from the Goblin City, but she is closer now."

"But, I thought you said there was no way out!"

"Technically she isn't out of the oubliette." Jareth looked dreamily out the window as if he was planning something. April caught the look and shook her head.

"Whatever you're thinking of doing you'd better stop." She warned. "You promised you'd let her go through without interference!"

"My dear, I'm not always scheming horrible deeds." He scratched his chin and looked at her, "Waiting can be tiring, can it not?"

"I'll say." April grumbled, "But I'd wait for a century for Sasha. She'll make it, just watch."

"I do not doubt it, but aren't you getting bored?"

April glanced uneasily at him. She had said she was glad she met him, that didn't mean she trusted him. "Maybe."

"What would you like to do? Anything you'd like as long as it can be done in the castle." Jareth offered.

"Uh…" April stuttered, "I, uh, I don't know. What is there to do around here?"

"Goblins can be very entertaining; I could bring a few in here."

"No thanks, I've seen enough of them to last a lifetime." April chuckled.

"Well, if Sasha does not complete the labyrinth you'll have to get used to them. You will be their queen after all."

April groaned. "Come on, I barely know you! Can we please just forget about the whole 'queen of the goblins' thing?"

"My dear April, it is a very real possibility. Unless you would rather be a goblin when Sasha fails to rescue you? Would that make you happy?" Jareth said it so calmly, which just made April mad.

"It might be better than marrying some doofus king that I just met!" She exploded.

"Oh April, you are so lovely when you're angry, which is quite often."

"Ugh." April rolled her eyes and stood up, "You know, I was starting to warm up to you, but you just reminded me that you are just a creepy, horrible guy."

"Come now April, I'm not so horrible, once you get to know me." He offered her his hand, "I could give you a tour if the castle if you like, or we could visit the library."

"No thanks." April grumbled, "I don't want to get to use to this place."

The Goblin King stood and headed for the door. "If you need anything, just shout and I shall return."

April was about to protest to his leaving, but he vanished. She paced the dining room for a few minute, thinking about loopholes that she might use to get out of the mess she was in, but she could not come up with any.

Something shimmering on the table caught her eye…

"One of the crystals." She stated, looking at it.

I hope Jareth didn't leave it behind to watch me.

She picked up the sphere and gazed into it as hard as she could. This time she saw something. It was just a glimmer, but she thought she saw Sasha's tutu. When the image disappeared April tried shaking the crystal, like a snow globe, but it did nothing.

"Oh come on! All Jareth has to do is look at these things and they work!" She put it back down on the table. And took out her phone. Oddly enough, the device still worked in the Underground. April texted Henry to ask him what they were doing back home.

It took a while, but the reply came eventually:

UR dad is planning to murder the GK. (Goblin King)

April chuckled and texted back:

How bout mom?

Crying.

April winced and turned her phone off, putting it back in the pocket of the tunic. She needed to get out of there and patch things up with her mother. But to do that she would need to make sure Sasha won the labyrinth.

"But how?" April muttered. She glanced back at the crystal. "If I could get that to work…" But then she realized, "Jareth is on my side now, he'll get it to work for me!"

Suddenly she had a plan.

A/N: Ugh, I do not like how this chapter turned out! Sorry, there really isn't much April and Jareth can do together besides fight and I think we've all had enough of that. Next chapter will be better, I hope. TTFN (Ta-Ta for Now)!
