All In

Takes place the night before the ice skating rink and their decision to be all in. I started it with one idea and it kind of morphed into something else. Hope you all like.

Kensi lay in bed looking up at the ceiling. It was two am and she couldn't sleep. Funny thing was lately she never had trouble sleeping. But then again she usually fell asleep next to or on top of Deeks. This last night he had went back to his own apartment for a change. Said he had to clean out his fridge and do laundry. Kensi had just figured he'd show up at some point like he always did.

Only this night he hadn't shown up. Kensi had sat on her couch the tv on mute and had just watched the door. For three hours she sat and watched the door. Then she stood up and paced the living room for another hour. Finally she had taken a shower and crawled into bed. That was an hour ago.

Kensi rolled over and punched her pillow several times. She looked at the clock and noticed the framed photo behind it. Picking it up she rolled back and held it above her.

In the photo Deeks had his arm slung around her shoulders and they were looking at each other smiling. Nell had taken the photo about a month ago and had given them both a copy.

Kensi smiled and traced a finger over the photo. Oh how she loved that man. Kensi put the photo back and sighed. This was the last straw she had to find out if they had a chance or if she was fighting a losing battle.

The next day Kensi found the perfect chance. They were all at the ice skating rink and Kensi called Deeks over to her to talk.

"I'm all in."

"No more games."

"Nope."

"All in."

"Today"

"Tomorrow"

He was kissing her. Oh man he was kissing her. Kensi was in heaven. The feel of his lips on hers was amazing.

He was hers, all hers. They broke apart and both had huge smiles on their faces. Deeks kissed her again pulling her in close and wrapping his arms around her.

That night they sat on her couch eating dinner.

"So Kensi not that I'm complaining buy why now?"

"You'll think it's silly."

"No I will not."

"Ok. You didn't come over last night and I missed you. It felt like a week instead of just hours and I didn't like that feeling. I didn't like being alone."

"You could have called. I would have just brought my laundry over here."

"I wasn't sure if you were doing laundry or something else."

"You mean someone else?"

"Maybe."

"Kensi you do realize that there is no one else but you." Deeks pulled her onto his lap and Kensi snuggled into him. "You seem to forget me asking you to move in with me not too long ago."

"You meant that?"

"Um yeah." Deeks chuckled. "I have never asked anyone to move in with me before." He kissed the top of her head. "And I hope I never have to again."

"So you really want to live together?"

"Yes."

"Ok then."

"Ok guess we really are all in then." Said Deeks.

Kensi closed her eyes. Deeks ran his hands over her body and Kensi sighed.

"I'll give up my place." Said Deeks. "Lease is up end of year anyways."

"Guess I'll have to get rid of some of my stuff so we can fit yours in."

Deeks chuckled. "Really Kensi giving up being a hoarder for me?"

"I'd give up everything I have for you."

Deeks was shocked to say the least at this. Kensi lifted her head and looked at Deeks.

"Deeks say something."

"We could forget our trip and stay here instead. Take the time off to look for a house."

Kensi smiled. "One with at least three bedrooms."

"Three?"

"This way we don't have to look for a bigger place when we have kids. We'll already have the room."

"Kids?"

Kensi laughed. "I thought you wanted a son to name Sheppard?"

"Um yeah that name sucks."

"Yeah it does."

"Carter is cute." Said Kensi.

"I like that."

Kensi leaned in and kissed Deeks. "Let's go to bed Deeks."

"Bed yeah to sleep."

Kensi shook her head. "Not to sleep."

"Watch tv."

Again Kensi shook her head. "Nope."

Deeks smiled and stood taking Kensi with him. He laid her down on the bed carefully and kicked off his shoes. Laying down on top of her Deeks smiled.

"Tomorrow we start looking for a house."

"Yes."

"Good."

Later that night Kensi lay awake once more. Only this time she was laying on top of Deeks and he was running his fingers over her back tracing patterns on her skin.

They had spent some time talking afterwards and both promised that part of their all in was not holding back or hiding anything from each other no matter what. They were all in for life.

"So one story or two?"

"Doesn't matter."

"Yard."

"Yes."

"Close to the beach if possible."

"Yes."

They made a mental list of what they wanted in a house. Two car garage or space to park three cars. Hers, his and Deeks truck. Fenced in back yard for Monty. Family room, three bedrooms. Kensi wanted a walk in closet, Deeks a huge kitchen.

The next morning as he made breakfast Kensi wrote their list down. After they ate Deeks pulled out Kensi's lap top and opened a realtor site. He typed in their list and they got seven houses. Two they couldn't afford even together. Two were way too far from the beach. That left three houses.

Deeks wrote down the address and they headed out. Two hours later Kensi was upset and Deeks figured they would have to give up some of what they wanted.

"This sucks."

"Yeah."

They grabbed food and went to Deeks place. He packed up some stuff to move to her place and tossed some stuff he didn't need now that they were moving in together. They were about to head to Kensi's place when there was a knock at the door.

"Hetty."

"May I come in Mr. Deeks."

"Yeah of course."

Hetty walked over and sat next to Kensi on the couch. "Now I understand you were looking at houses today."

"What? How? You know what I don't want to know." Said Deeks.

Hetty just looked at him.

"Now I take it you have a list of what you were looking for?"

Kensi pulled it out and handed it to Hetty. She kept looking at her lap and Deeks was getting worried.

"I see and the houses you looked at today?"

"Two were already sold and one smelt like fish." Said Kensi.

"Fish?" asked Hetty trying not to smile.

"Yeah very stinky fish."

"I see." Hetty looked from Kensi to Deeks.

"Well I have a house you may want to look at in the morning." Hetty pulled out a real-estate listing from her purse. Deeks took it and his eyes got huge.

"Um Hetty we can't afford this."

"Yes you can."

"Um no we can't. I know what we make and it's nowhere close to what they are asking."

"Deeks It's ok. We can make my place work for us both." Kensi looked up at him.

"Hey you said you were all in that means a house and kids."

Hetty cleared her throat.

"I already have gotten you a good price. I just need you're ok that the you want the house."

Deeks looked at Kensi and passed her the paper.

It was a single story three bedroom two car garage house. It looked cute in the picture.

"Ok we can go look at it tomorrow."

"Good. I'll be in the Mission tomorrow so stop by and let me know what you think afterwards."

Hetty got up and headed out. Deeks and Kensi left for her apartment just afterwards.

"So how do you think she knew?" asked Deeks.

"Probable has our computers bugged."

"Crap then she knows about the porn I watched last month."

Kensi looked at him and made a face.

"It was for research I swear."

"Yeah sure Deeks."

The next morning Deeks pulled into the driveway of the house. Kensi was being huffy about it so Deeks didn't say anything.

A real-estate women was waiting on them and took them thru the house. The living room and dining room were an open plan on the left. The right had a small office and a half bath and closet. Across from the dining room was the kitchen. In the back of the house were three bedrooms. Two small ones on one side and a full bath and the master on the other including a full bath and huge custom walk in closet.

"Wow." Said Deeks. The bedroom had French door leading to the back yard. "Kensi this place is perfect."

Kensi looked around and shrugged. Deeks was losing the battle.

"I'll leave you to talk about it."

After the woman left Deeks pulled Kensi into his arms. "I love you."

"I know."

"I love the house too."

Kensi laughed. "It really is perfect." She leaned against Deeks. "How does Hetty do it?"

"No idea."

They walked out into the yard. There was tree swing and a small fish pond and lots of room for Monty. Best part was it was two blocks from the beach. In fact you could see the water from their front porch.

They thanked their guide and was shocked when she handed them the keys and left.

"You don't think Hetty has this place bugged do you?" Whispered Deeks.

"Why?"

Kensi found herself pressed against the living room wall. Two hours later they walked into the mission.

Hetty simply handed them papers and a pen. "Sign and the house is yours."

Deeks and Kensi signed. "It's perfect."

"Um Hetty this price is less than half the asking price."

"Well you see I spoke to your mother Miss Blye and it seems that your father had put money aside for your college education. After he died the money continued to collect interest. The friend he put in charge of it in case of his death recently contacted your mother about the account. The amount in the account was enough to purchase this house for you."

"And the amount we have to pay?"

"Closing fees and the cost to get the house move in ready."

"My dad bought me a house?" Kensi was in shock.

"Yes Miss Blye in a way he has."

"Hetty." Kensi didn't know what to say. Deeks wrapped his arms around her and held on tight.

"Thank you Hetty."

"You are most welcome Mr. Deeks." Hetty smiled then pulled out a bottle and three glasses. "Now a toast to the two of you and your new home."

"Um Hetty can we keep this between the three of us for now?" asked Kensi. "It's not that I don't want the others to know we just want to prove that we can work together and be together at the same time."

"Of course." Hetty raised her glass. "To being all in."

All night, staring at the ceiling
Counting the minutes I'm feeling this way
So far away and so alone

But you know it's alright,
I came to my senses
Letting go of my defenses
There's no way I'm giving up this time,
Yea, you know I'm right here
I'm not losing you this time

And I'm all in, nothing left to hide
I'm falling harder than a landslide
I spent a week away from you last night
And now I'm calling, calling out your name
Even if I lose the game, I'm all in
I'm all in tonight, yeah I'm all in, I'm all in for life

There's no taking back what we've got
It's too strong, we've had each other's back for too long
There's no breaking up this time
And you know it's okay, I came to my senses
Let go of my defenses
There's no way I'm giving up this time

And I'm all in, nothing left to hide
I'm falling harder than a landslide
I spent a week away from you last night
And now I'm calling, calling out your name
Even if I lose the game, I'm all in,
I'm all in tonight, yea I'm all in, I'm all in for life

I want it, I want it, I want it,
I want it, I want it, I want it, yeah
I want it, I want it, I want it,

And I'm calling, calling out your name
Even if I lose the game, I'm all in, I'm all in for life
And I'm all in, nothing left to hide
I'm falling harder than a landslide
I spend a week away from you last night
And now I'm calling, calling out your name
Even if I lose the game, I'm all in
I'm all in tonight, yeah I'm all in, I'm all in for life
Yea I'm all in, I'm all in for life
