We gathered with the rest, sitting around a table as little Nobody typed away on his little laptop. I glanced at Deck to see his fingers flying over the keyboard. What was he up to now?
"Damn!" Little Nobody groaned, tossing his hands in the air. "She wiped it all. Took God's eye. That was the one thing we could use to find them." He sighed, gripping the back of his chair. "We lost everything."
"What do you got princess?" Hobbs asked Deck.
Deck scoffed. "Finding Toretto." He tossed him a small smirk. "But I got a few minutes to spare if you want me to send you to the hospital. Again."
I raised my hand. "I'll help."
Hobbs opened his mouth, but backed out at the last moment. Instead he went back to instigating Deck. "Yo, rules!"
Little Nobody growled. "First off, that's not my name."
"Little Nobody." Roman laughed.
"Don't call me that."
Tej scoffed/laughed. "Oh that's definitely sticking."
Hobbs clapped his hands. "Great. Do me a favor and tell your majesty over there, that we're going to find Toretto. We find Toretto together as a team."
"We are not part of your team." I growled. What Hobbs and Dom did was not something I was going to forget anytime soon. Not this time.
Hobbs glanced at me, pain flashing behind his eyes. "And when this is all over with, I'm more than happy to slap that whisker biscuit right off his face."
"Touch him and I will break every bone in your body."
Before either could answer Ramsey jumped in. "I think Deckard's actually onto something. How do you think Dom and Cipher got into the country without us knowing?"
I leaned back, with a groan. "Ghost flights."
Tej shook his head. "I thought untraceable aircraft was all internet conspiracy stuff."
"It's not." Nobody said. "Satellites and radar grids all across the globe shift like an ocean."
I walked over to Deck, pushing Ramsey away from him on the processes. "They've got channels that open and close."
"Theoretically if you know the right people, who know the right patterns." Nobody added.
"You can fly right through the blind spots completely undetected." I said, watching Deck type furiously.
"And how do you know this?" Roman asked.
I glanced at him and back at Deckard. "I just do."
"You just do?" Tej asked.
I nodded. "Yes."
"So you know where Dom is headed?" Letty asked, stopping the coming argument.
"Yeah. New York." Deck grabbed my hand, taking me into the garage area. Once we were in the clear, he wrapped his arms around me. His chest pressed against my back. "Want to tell me what that was back there?"
I frowned. "What?" He turned me around to face him, I focused on his chest.
"Eli?"
"Yes?"
"Don't tell me you were jealous of that girl." Deck teased.
I scoffed, brushing the invisible dust off his shoulder. "No." Glancing up at him, I narrowed my eyes. "Why? Should I?"
Deck laughed, giving me a peck on the lips. "No, besides I have a different taste in woman."
"And what would that be?"
He hummed, making me walk backwards. "Short, mid long honey colored hair." His hand grabbed a fist full of my hair, giving it a gentle tug. That earned him a quiet moan. Deckard leaned forward laying butterfly kisses on my now exposed neck. "Feisty, sassy, sexy, submissive to me, and with beautiful light green eyes."
I groaned at the nibbling, only to yelp at the bite he gave me. "Hey! No biting!"
Deck laughed. "Can't help myself." I closed my eyes in anticipation as he leaned down once more, only to have the moment ruined by a loud mouth jackass.
"Hey!" Roman yelled, appearing beside us.
I tossed him a glare. "What?!"
"We are heading out. Let go!" He took off, stumbling on some cables.
"When did he become my father?"
