Note by PhantomxK: I'm glad all stuck around this long the good news it is that by the time you guys read this chapter I will be on Summer vacation. This is not the last chapter however we would like to know if you guys want a sequel to this story. It will be in the future mind when Jinx is a teenager but we would like to know so that we can decide if we will do it together or not.

Have a great Summer and we own nothing.

Jinx watched her fathers leave and went off to sulk. Clary and Garren had tried to get the little girl to play, but she wanted none of that. Her family was in danger and she wanted to help. She could not save her mother but she was not going to let her fathers suffer the same fate. So once Clary had fallen asleep Jinx got up and changed.

"Jinx what are you doing?" Garren groaned softly as he rolled over smelling her magic.

"I'm running away." Jinx whispered back proudly. Garren jumped out of his skin and ran to the door in order to stop the girl.

"You can't! what 'bout me?" he said as he looked ready to cry.

Jinx rolled her eyes "Stupid I'm coming back. You stay here and protect aunt Clary and the babies from the ghosties" she said to him as she went to the window.

"Babies? Now you're the stupid one. She's not far enough along to know she is having two" he said to her.

"I'm the daughter of the most powerful Daddy in the world. I know all" she said and with that she jumped down the window and ran off.

Garren watched until her scent disappeared. When he ran to find Clary, he felt bad but he knew he had to wake her. He just hoped that Jinx did not get hurt because he refused to stop her, but then again she was Jinx.

Thankfully, reinforcements did show up at the Asylum considering that there was a greater Demon involved, though they were all thinking of ways to strip Magnus off his title as High Warlock of Brooklyn because of this. Even though there were reinforcements, one of them was Robert, who was not letting go on the fact that there were going in there on the word of a child, until Alec had enough and glared at his father.

"Max"

The one word made Robert freeze as he turned to glare at his son "What about him? Honestly Alexander it has been what five years-"

"Actually it would be six which means he would have been training as of now. That however is not the point. Jinx did not tell us this, it was Max. The portal in there is so strong it is altering reality now. If you aren't going to trust your living son, trust the dead one that did nothing but wonder if you even loved him." Alexander said coldly as he turned his back on his father to help Luke organize his pack into positions. As Robert stood there glaring at the back of his son and Maryse smiled at her son for finally sticking up to his father. They moved in, at least the first group which would take the first set of buildings until they found the portal.

Magnus watched the Shadowhunters with a dark look in his eyes. He heard footsteps behind him "Izzy I thought you would be with Simon." He stated rather then asked as the person behind him huffed.

"That's the greeting I get after coming all the way from London?" Magnus turned his head around to see Tessa standing behind with a smile on her lips. However, it was a sad smile that had laid itself upon her lips.

"Tessa you should not have come!" he said to her. He walked over to her as he looked at her worried.

"Because you think Will might be here. I saw the look in your eyes Magnus and we both know Will would not do that."

"No I'm not worried that he turns dark. I'm worried that he will try to have a hero complex and try to cross to help. Tessa we don't know what happens to these spirits. If we kill them, we don't know if there is another life after death for them. I don't want you to be hurt if something happens." He said to her. Tessa smiled at him softly pointing to Alec.

"Your husband was the one that called me for the same reason. He did not know how you would handle this and he wanted someone who knew Will to be there for you." She smiled as she turned her back to walk off but stopped, "Through he did say that you would be visiting more often and I do hope you do" she said charmingly as she walked off.

All Magnus could do was laugh slightly at not only Tessa, but Alec as well as he walked over to him. Magnus kissed his husband's cheek. After all these years Alec still blushed slightly if Magnus caught him off guard.

"What was that for?" he asked Magnus clueless as Magnus just smiled at him softly.

"For being you" He said as they turned to the asylum the sun had long set and the area stank of black magic. It burnt Magnus nose just by the smell. "Let's go"

Jinx was already inside. She was ducking in and out of corners crawling through small wholes going through all the spots she knew were safe. Her fathers had protected her, now it was her turn to repay them. Suddenly she heard fighting and she ran towards the sound when she arrived it was the man she was supposed to call grandfather fighting. She saw one coming up behind him and she quickly shot it away as Robert turned his head he looked at her.

"What are you doing here?! You are supposed to be at the institute like every other child!" he snapped at her as she looked at him with dead eyes. These were the eyes of someone who had seen death too many times.

"I don't want people to die" she whispered.
