A/N: Apparently FF decided to eat my entire authors note, which is great. And by great I mean fucking irritating. So a big fat middle finger to FF for it's obtuse system.
To try to correct this and retype as well as possible.
To anyone wondering about where the points from Frieza's POV are taking place, this should help clear it up. Right as Frieza is taking care of the three Nameks, that part is roughly concurrent with where Vegeta is about to take his nap. So by the time he is about to confront Nail, a solid 20-25 minutes have elapsed in Vegeta's down time.
As for the part in hell with Nappa and Raditz, it is roughly 10 or so minutes after the end of Chapter 25, so well before this current chapter. Roughly concurrent with when Burter is wrecking everyone's shit.
Another fun fact, when FF ate my AN, it also managed to somehow flip the order of the POVs, so that the segment in hell was at the end of the chapter when I first saved it in the beginning. As of now that is getting corrected.
Now then, to redo the review responses:
ShadowLDrago: Goku can use the KK very well, and is extremely adept at controlling it, especially at lower levels. But that experience is almost all tossed out the window being in an unfamiliar body, with a completely foreign ki. Notice too that I turned canon it it's head, with Goku being the one to have trouble in the other body, while Ginyu adapted extremely well.
TaitanoRules555: Got to thank you for reviewing all my chapters. Allow me to respond to a few of them.
(1): I'd like to say sort of. But I'd like to think I've grown at least somewhat more proficient as a writer, so while it should be a decent indicator of the tone, I don't think it has aged well. Though since you've read the whole thing...I also plan on revising those older chapters once the Frieza arc is done and put to bed.
(2): More or less, though some aspects of technology have advanced at different rates, so there are plenty of anachronisms to be found. On the whole, it is roughly analogous to a little over 200 years from now in most respects.
(5): As in power levels? Yes. All part of things I'm changing and altering from canon.
(6,7,8): I tried to go with something different than the typical name for her. Good chance it will be elaborated on later. Strong chance as well Gohan is very relevant. Goku will also have opportunities to interact with his family.
(10): It isn't terribly graphic, and is largely an outlier at this point. Only a couple steps beyond the most graphic things shown in the uncut version on DBZ, and since it is only such a small scene I don't feel it is even pushing the T-rating that hard, much less warranting an M.
(14): A pretty big one. He is responsible for a lot of things that have happened that have remained so far in the background. After the Frieza arc much of it will come to the forefront.
(17): Had Nappa been there from the start they would have had a better chance. The real issue was his power being too low. Had he even been a little stronger, they might have been able to turn the tide.
(21): I'm trying to keep him largely in character, while giving him actual development, and moving him passed being fairly one dimensional.
(23): Burter would have utterly thrashed him though. Even with Krillin and a weakened Vegeta backing him they got stomped badly. So I had to give him an opponent that was more on his level, albeit with unique abilities, to give Yamcha a good showing. As well as some development as a character.
(25): If you loved that little cameo, I expect this chapter will be good for you.
Guest: That is something I've tried going for.
LilyRosetheDreamer: So long as they keep their heads down for now, they stand a good chance at living. And if they play their cards right, they might be able to influence who get wished back.
As for the next chapter now, I'm shooting for around late April or so.
Raditz glared smugly at the now bruised up general. "So Nappa. You really think I'm just a weakling?" Neither had yet went all out, suffice to say that was likely about to change.
The bulky Saiyan flashed a toothy smirk. One that contained a hint of pride. "It's all relative...you really have came a long way since you were killed...further than I expected you too...a shame you weren't with us on Namek. I might not have even needed to die..."
Focusing his energy, the younger Saiyan didn't quite manage to keep the look of surprise off his face. "I have heard everything then. Between you and Vegeta, you rarely needed me when we were both alive. Kept implying I was a hindrance...good to know that the sense of camaraderie wasn't just one sided. Though I should have known that, since you dimwits hauled ass to Earth to avenge me...and take the Dragonballs for yourselves."
Nappa popped the joints in his neck. "We'd have gone there to get revenge for you no matter what...the dragonballs were just the means to an end...to be able to take down Frieza. And to bring you back to life...Vegeta missed having you as a punching bag after all."
"Of course he did." quipped the long haired fighter. "But he'd best be more careful if we cross paths again...I'm sure he's stronger too...but I've learned some new tricks myself."
That made his opponent laugh. "Did you now? I was just thinking on how it would take a lot more than what you showed to beat me...let alone Vegeta. I don't even care if you have a higher power...a true Saiyan doesn't back down...not even if they are outclassed.
In a blur he moved to throw a hay maker at Raditz. Raising both hands and catching the mighty fist, the other saiyan quickly pulled forwards. The result was Nappa's momentum being used against him, with him eating a mouthful of dirt a second later. Almost instantly he got back on his feet. Then he gave a menacing smirk as his aura burst to life around him, his full power coming to the surface in just over two seconds.
"So Raditz, guessing you learned to sense energy down here." He saw the other nod. Yet with no sign of fear whatsoever. "Either you got some other trick up your sleeve, or you've lost your mind. I don't think you can win, but feel free to surprise me."
A deep fire like energy flared around Raditz. A deep purple color, that was giving Nappa a bad sense of deja vu. "There's no way...that looks a lot like Kakarot's move-"
"Burst of Hades!" The second he yelled that his ki increased quickly, muscles slightly bulking up as well. Then with a blinding display of speed charged the balk fighter across from him.
"Holy shit!" Exclaimed Nappa as he blocked a roundhouse kick through gritted teeth. His next blow was deflected, though Raditz clearly strained to do so. Then the both darted higher into the red sky, tossing punches and kicks each others way.
Nappa finally landed a solid blow to the side of Raditz's cheek, only to be repaid in kind by the tip of the the other's boot striking him in the chin. Another punch was thrown quickly at him that he caught with great effort. Then Nappa fired one of his own that to little surprise, Raditz managed to stop.
The two grappled high above the barren ground, energy crackling all around them as each tried to gain an upper hand. Finally after nearly a minute Raditz began overtaking him, slowing pushing Nappa backwards. "You..." the large saiyan strained to speak as sweat dripped down his face. "...really would give Vegeta a good run...you're even stronger than me...but you forgot one thing..." With a sinister grin Nappa continued, "my decades of experience!" Opening his mouth he quickly fired a white hot blast point blank into Raditz's face.
Watching the smoke cloud intently, Nappa still didn't expect what happened next. A burst of wind blew the remaining smoke away, revealing a mostly unharmed Raditz. The aura around him was brighter and more erratic than before, as well as his muscle mass expanding slightly. After wiping a streak of black soot off his face, he quickly moved. In a second his foot was upside Nappa's face, sending him hurtling towards the ground.
Prying himself out of the fresh crater he saw the other Saiyan charging at him, veins clearly bulging in his forehead and neck. Nappa sidestepped, then caught the first coming at him as Raditz spun back around. He launched a punch of his own that got knocked aside. Then a fist clocked him upside the head, sending him spiraling end over end. Finally catching himself, he began charging energy into the palms of his hands. Focusing as much as possible, he willed the energy to keep building.
With a off handed thought he figured he might create a proper technique out of this...for now he just had to try his best to take Raditz down a peg. The second he fired he heard Raditz shout something that sounded a lot like 'Black Friday!'.
When his crimson beam and Raditz's own near black collided a shockwave was created that shoved both combatants back over a hundred feet. Despite putting everything he had into his attack, the other beam was slowly over taking it. For a moment Nappa started to worry, then he felt something. Raditz was barely keeping control of his power, any second now and that ability of his would completely falter. All he needed to do was hold out, to win via attrition.
Unfortunately his plan ran into a snag, as the same instant Raditz lost his hold on the multiplicative ability, the conjoined ball of energy in the center of their beams lost all stability.
"Oh shit-" was all Nappa managed to say before the resulting explosion blasted them both into unconsciousness.
In the sky observing the entire spectacle, Bardock had to say he was amused at the very least. Not only had Nappa grown far stronger in a short time, but his own son had managed to fight him to a complete stalemate. He'd of course give the overgrown brat a lecture for being so careless with his Kaioken knockoff; not to mention setting off that massive explosion, from which the mushroom cloud was only just starting to dissipate.
Yes, he'd give him a scolding...but he'd also let him know how proud he really was.
Touching down, he quickly found Nappa. The bald Saiyans's armor was badly damaged, yet surprisingly he'd managed to climb to his feet despite taking a beating from that blast.
"Bardock...long time no see." He gave a crazed grin, revealing a single missing tooth. "Your kid sure has gotten stronger...I'd imagine that's your doing...I can't wait to see how strong you are if you trained him up to this level so fast."
The spiky haired warrior shrugged his shoulders. "Idiot just needed some encouragement...He had that potential all along...you however might want to rethink fighting me for a bit...I'm a little out of your league."
To emphasize the point he flared his aura briefly, nearly blasting Nappa over.
"Y-You...unbelievable...the entire Ginyu force together wouldn't stand a chance..." he stammered.
"Damn right...so why don't you worry about making sure my son manages to get himself dug out." Without giving the former general a chance to retort he phased from sight, reappearing behind Nappa; with a firm boot to his rear that sent him flying for miles, in the general direction of where Raditz landed.
Nail was looking out the large window, hoping that the bad omen he was getting was just his imagination. When heard the Grand Elder shift slightly his head instantly jerked that way.
"That feeling...you can sense it too then, lord Saichoro." Nail said hesitantly.
The great Namekian sighed. "I've been feeling it for the last few moments...the source of this darkness...the Frost Demon Frieza...he's on his way here. I've seen visions...he has collected all the dragonballs...though the Earthlings seem to have taken advantage of his absence and have gained all seven for themselves all will be for naught if they don't know the password or speak the ancient dialect."
"Dialect? Lord Saichoro...I thought it was in our common language."
The elder shook his head slowly. "That was a change I deemed necessary when I sensed his approach to our world...forgive me for not telling you this Nail, but it was for a greater good. Even if he managed to torture or pry in to the mind of any other, he would have found nothing. Only by speaking in the tongue of a bygone Namekian age can the Dragon of Dreams be summoned forth." Straining himself, he turned to the youngest among them.
Before Ginyu could make good on his word and finish Goku off he was forced to spin out of the way. Barely at that. Krillin landed next to him while Yamcha checked up on Goku.
"So you're the Saiyan's comrades. Most inconvenient," Captain Ginyu frowned. His energy was a fraction of what it should have been, which was on top of the damage that multiplying technique. "Normally I'd have no reservations...you see however, I made a deal with him."
Having moved Goku further away Yamcha landed next to Krillin and across from Ginyu. "What kind of a deal did you trick him into?" the bandit said tersely.
Ginyu raised a brow. "Trick? You have the wrong idea. No, it was his terms that I agreed to. That if I was to win, regardless of means, that I and my men were to spare you men your lives...should you make no attempt on our own." He smirked. "Going by his condition, I'd say that my victory is absolute. So I have an obligation to at least make the attempt to honor his request. So I'd advise you let me finish my business, as I doubt without a rejuvenation chamber you have anyway to fix him before he dies."
"We won't let you do that...and wait..rejuvenation what now?" Krillin cut himself off.
The Captain shook his head. "I've said too much...now, you two can either do the smart thing and leave...or else."
Both Yamcha and Krillin could feel the energy coming from Captain Ginyu. Along with how much it had dropped from before, and was still gradually dipping. To the point that if they were careful, they could easily win through attrition alone.
Yamcha gave Krillin a nod. Then he made a gesture beckoning the captain to come at them. "Or else what?"
Cracking the bones in his neck first, Captain Ginyu chuckled darkly. "If you insist then!" Then he lunged, taking aim at Yamcha first. To his legitimate surprise the human managed to block his kick through gritted teeth. Then Krillin struck out at him with a vicious double kick, both feet making solid contact with his head and sending the hapless Captain tumbling backwards for over a hundred feet.
After hitting the brakes, the purple horned man spat out a glob of bloody saliva. "Either they got a lot stronger, or I've lost more power than I initially suspected." He briefly cursed the fact that his scouter had been lost at some point after the initial body change with the Saiyan. He'd been too caught up in the moment, and unlike his boss he didn't obsess over numbers. What he would like was to use it to scan both them as well as himself. Because it seemed like his power was still dropping and having such a confirmation might allow him to assess the situation and come up with a different strategy. Without the device he'd simply have to make due.
Trying to maintain an air of confidence he held his arms straight up in a flamboyant pose. Then he gave a wide smirk to the humans. "Never would do to forget about style...though you know what they say...style is nothing without...SUBSTANCE!" As shouted the final word Ginyu quickly extended his arms, firing a white beam of energy.
As expected they managed to dodge...though not without several new burns on their skin and clothing. He ducked and weaved as best he could, though it was hardly enough to avoid taking many hits. With a mighty hook to the face, Yamcha was sent reeling. And not A moment too soon for the horned captain.
Ginyu ground his teeth as he put forth virtually all his strength to block a kick from Krillin. With a flick of his wrist he managed to twist his hand around, grabbing Krillin's ankle before the monk could react accordingly.
"Looks like you finally slipped up. Shame no one will be able to bail you out of this." Sweat dripped down his purple face. This was taking far too long to finish. Lucky him that Yamcha was already charging at him. He attempted to swing the monk as a club, only to get yet another unpleasant surprise.
"Solar Flare!"
Blinding light and then pure pain flooded his eyes. Before he could do more than utter a couple swears a foot was planted firmly in his gut. Ginyu sprayed a mouthful of blood from his mouth. His vision was hazy still, and only through luck did he manage to block the first couple strikes Krillin lobbed his way. He tried moving away only for Yamcha to kick him back towards the monk.
Then a flurry of blows started raining down, as his power slipped further away from him. Then a wave of ki that sent him tearing backwards.
With a tremendous amount of effort he pried himself off the beam. "Blast...that was close..." He caught movement in the corner of his eye. But before the good captain could turn all the way two locked fists slammed into the back if his skull. After that, everything went black.
Yamcha gave Krillin a quick thumbs up. "Man was that close...I can't believe we pulled that one off."
As they moved towards Goku the monk agreed. "Yeah tell me about it. To think that Goku got the better of this guy at his best..."
The battered Saiyan gave a weary and pained laugh at that. "Not so sure about that Krillin." Wincing in pain as the bandit hefted him onto his shoulders, Goku continued "I got my body stolen and had to literally beat myself up to get it back...if you two hadn't shown up I'd probably be a goner right about now...so um...I don't think I came out on top...or much better than he did." As Yamcha floated into the air Goku choked back a cough.
"What about him anyway?" Muttered Krillin. "Think we should just leave him be like that?"
"I-"Goku stopped briefly as several painful jolts ran through his body. There were several bones broken..among other things. If only he had an extra senzu..."-I think we should let him go...leave him be. He's lost so much power he's not much a threat, and besides taking my body...and trying to kill me...that Ginyu guy had some honor...he's not all bad...plus..." the Saiyan gave a cheeky smirk." I'd really love to fight him again sometime...especially if he improves himself..."
Krillin slapped a palm to his face. "I hope you're right...one day that carefree attitude is going to get both of us killed. Again."
"Dende...the one who has brought such chaos with him draws near...come closer...I have one last bit of knowledge to impart on you...as well as a gift." A single dry cough wracked his weary body. Hours were likely all he had left...the deaths of many of his people doubtlessly added to his anguish.
Without questioning the child took a few steps towards the elder...till the great Namekian was able to reach out and place a hand upon his head. A quick flood of information was practically shot into his brain...with only a slight dull ache. The older dialect...all that was known to Saichoro was flowing into him. Most important of all was the password needed to summon the Dragon of Dreams.
"There...now you have all you need to summon forth Porunga and allow them their wishes." He took a labored breath. "This is the last gift I have for you...I will unlock some of the power within you...as well as your dormant healing abilities..." A white glow enveloped him, much as he'd seen happen to the Earthlings. Sooner than expected it was done, with the ancient Namek nearly doubling over in a coughing fit.
Nail moved immediately to his aid. "Lord Saichoro, are you-"
Raising a wrinkled hand the elder interrupted. "...My time is...nearly at it's end...this was necessary and won't hasten it much...Dende..." his voice suddenly became stronger as urgency gripped him. "Now is the time...you must go now...he should be too occupied to pay you any mind...go while there is time!"
Vegeta felt the incoming energy signatures of the two humans first. Then Kakarot as well. Whose level of ki was much lower than it should be. Not that the Saiyan prince gave a damn about that clown; rather he didn't want something else to hasten the idiot's demise. Only he had a true claim over the younger Saiyan's life. Vegeta was the prince, thus he alone had the right to decide if the fool was to die.
As expected both the obese Samurai and the halfling were rushing to their aid. "Sentimental fools." he muttered harshly. That fat bastard had taken a swing at him for his execution of Burter. Why he couldn't imagine. In Vegeta's mind he was simply being pragmatic and taking care of a threat...as well as blowing off the leftover rage at Nappa's death. Mercy was not wise against Frieza's elite, sparing Jeice was enough of a risk.
That hadn't sat well with the human of course, but begrudgingly he had to agree with Kakarot's brat. They couldn't fight among themselves. To do so would spell utter disaster. So he held himself back from turning Yajirobe to paste, opting instead to put that on his to do list; should they manage to survive this ordeal.
The Dragonballs he also suspected would be a chore to deal with. Especially if his guess was correct and the wish needed to be made in the Namekian language. They certainly couldn't be commanded it either Galactic Standard or that of the Earthling's language.
Predictably, he saw them touch down a few hundred feet from the ship. Kakarot was being hefted over the shoulder of the long haired weakling. At the sight Vegeta couldn't help but chuckle. "Kakarot, you idiot. What the hell did you do to yourself?"
That prompted a pained smirk from the battered man. "Nearly ended up dying...mostly...after having my body stolen...he was really tough...how come you didn't warn me that he could do that?"
"Yeah...that is a really good question." Krillin glared at Vegeta, who growled back.
"If you dolts hadn't pulled that stunt with the dragonballs, Nappa as well as myself would have been able to fill you in on everything...and perhaps have our wish granted by now!" Involuntarily he clenched his fist at the bald human.
Yamcha exhaled sharply. "Look...we need to worry about getting Goku back in shape first...and...we're all out of senzu beans..."
Pushing the irritation to the back of his mind, Vegeta thought for a moment. Then he gave a deep and sinister grin. "The rejuvenation chambers...we can throw the clod into one of those...and within a few hours he should be not only be healed...but stronger than before." That part grated on him, knowing that the gap between them would likely increase dramatically again. Which was unfortunately a necessary evil, given the very real chance that they would be soon facing down Frieza. Even with immortality it would be good to have a sturdy meat shield to back him up.
"A few hours..." Yajirobe spoke up for the first time in awhile. "We don't have-"
"We don't have a choice!" said the prince sharply. "The newer ones were damaged when I bailed Nappa out and first made off with the Dragon Balls...so this will have to work."
Having dealt with his pest problem, the icy tyrant quickly floated back up to his hover pod. Just as he was sitting down there was a blip on the scouter and a small creature whizzed by. "Peculiar...probably a straggler...definitely no concern of mine with such a paltry power level." As he resumed his journey Frieza quickly quelled the slight nagging feeling. It was of no consequence and would only serve to get in his way.
Setting off at a brisk pace, it was only a matter of minutes before he arrived. A large structure, much like those of the villages...perched atop a massive stone and earth pillar.
"Quaint...yet I should have expected as such." He allowed the pod to lower before stepping out onto the blue grass. "Fitting that this be the location."
For a brief second he had the thought of just blowing a hole in the building, then beating the information out of them. Then Frieza thought better of it. If he could do this without any extra effort, then that was the path to take. Diplomacy might also be the best course, given the legends said that if the creator was severely harmed, the Dragon Balls would become useless.
Right as he was about to rip the door off the hinges his scouter went off. In the time it took him to press a button the door slid open, revealing a tall Namekain. Likely a warrior given his attire.
"Well I must say...I wasn't expecting another of your kind." He flashed a seemingly warm smile. "I am Lord Frieza, and I do believe you are in possession of something that I simply must have. Should you be cooperative I'll take but a moment of your time, then be on my way."
Then the smile turned darker. "Or, if you prove recalcitrant...I might be forced to take more drastic action...perhaps have a wonderful little chat with your elder. Wouldn't that be splendid?"
Nail cracked the knuckles in his hands. "I know all about what you and your people are here for. You want our Dragon Balls for your own twisted purposes...I'd guess you figured out that you can't make them work without a password. How inconvenient for you. Like many others have told you, you will not get what you desire from us."
At the defiance the emperor could only laugh softly. "My then...every bit as stubborn as the rest of your race. Such a shame, but it would seem you've chosen the hard way. Perhaps the elder can be more easily...persuaded."
When he saw the warrior's expression grow harsher Frieza raised an eyebrow. "You doing anything to hasten his demise even further would be counterproductive. If he dies, the Dragon Balls die with him...so it is in your best interest not to do so...not that I'd let you harm him in anyway to begin with."
That elicited an exasperated sigh from the tyrant. "This is becoming a habit of your people...and though I've asked this question many times...do you honestly believe you can persevere where others before you have failed in such utterly miserable fashion?"
A small cold drop of sweat ran down the side of his face. Then he bared his fang like teeth in a confident manner. "I don't think I have any choice except to try. I do think that you might find me...different from all the others you've dealt with...I've trained under the most arduous conditions using the disciplines of warrior Nameks long past."
Curiosity welled up inside Frieza. With a single button press at least part of the boast was confirmed. '29,000. And he is not yet exerting himself...perhaps this will prove both amusing and a means to my ends.'
"Is that so? I accept your challenge...and once I've ground you thoroughly beneath my heel you will give me that password." His tail flicking ever so slightly, the lizard ruler secretly relished the idea. So rarely did he have to do this sort of grunt work.
Nodding his head, Nail slowly lifted himself into the sky. "Not here of course. We'll go to my people's sacred training grounds...and then should you beat me...I'll gladly hand over that password for you."
"We have an accord then." Mused Frieza. "By all means, this is your show. So lead the way."
"There." Vegeta punched in a few more numbers. "Stupid model doesn't have a timer, but I'd expect him to be out of there in two or three of your hours."
Krillin tapped the wall nervously. "That sure is a long time. Guess we just got to make due till then..."
"In the mean time-" reaching into a storage bit, the Saiyan quickly pulled out several pieces of body armor. "I'd suggest taking these...they might not stop Frieza from killing you, but having some extra defense is better than nothing."
He quickly discarded the battered remnants of his armor, before putting on the new. It felt much lighter, sturdier too. Which was good. "Well? Stop staring at me like a bunch of useless tools and put those on. Or you could risk fighting Frieza as you are." As they quickly took his advice Vegeta gave a toothy grin.
"Is he always this much of a prick?" Whispered Yajirobe to Yamcha a bit too loudly as he struggled to squeeze the armored clothing over his head.
The bandit rolled his eyes. "You have no idea."
Vegeta made a mental note to teach both of them a lesson if this whole plan worked out. "I trust you all are more than capable of keeping watch for a couple of hours."
Krillin gave him a confused look. "Yeah, why? You plan on taking a nap or something?"
"Someone give the bald midget a prize." The prince rubbed his temples. "Much as I hate doing so, I can feel my power slipping...if you want me to be of any use against Frieza even while immortal, you'll do as I say and keep an eye out...and make sure nothing happens to the Dragon Balls...I know you don't have any way of activating them...but if I wake up and find them gone...all bets are off on this little alliance."
Yamcha gave a shrug of the shoulders. "Sure. Why not. Just be ready in case he shows back up."
Giving a grunt the Saiyan stalked away. Down the hall way across from the cafeterias. Probably the ships barracks. Absentmindedly he wondered where all of Frieza's men went...though if he was willing to bet any left alive would have deserted during his disposing of the Ginyu Force.
Finally finding the cabinet he was looking for Vegeta hastily threw the door open. He managed to find a crude alarm after a few moments of rummaging around. With a few presses of the button he set it to two hours. Hopefully Frieza would be kept occupied long enough. For a moment Vegeta had felt him stop, then he resumed moving further away again. With any luck he would end up on the other side of the planet.
Giving one last weary sigh Vegeta let a deep sleep take him.
After several minutes of flight, putting hundreds more miles behind him, Frieza began growing both bored and agitated. Using his energy to project his voice, he shouted up towards Nail.
"Much as I love taking a sightseeing tour of your planet, admiring how much each rock looks exactly like the rock ten miles back, I'd really hope we arrive at this location soon...lest my patience finally run dry."
Nail picked up on that, and with a gruff nod indicated they were to touch down soon. Another hundred miles and a small hill loomed in the distance. Pointing towards that, Nail was the first to land, shortly followed by the icy tyrant.
"This is it...one of my people's most honored training grounds." Nail said, trying to keep an air of confidence.
"How I love obvious hyperbole...though I think we ought to dispense with these trivial formalities. The sooner I assert my superiority, the sooner you give me the means to activate those orbs." A dark gleam briefly appeared in his eyes. "I think it would be most salubrious for you to do so."
That earned a wry chuckle. "Of course...I'll give you the password. But like I also told you, I'm not going to be someone you can just walk over."
"Namekian...you have no idea how many people have uttered similar phrases." Frieza uncrossed his arms, letting his hands fall freely to his sides, fingers spread apart. "Well then...get on with your little power up...I want to know precisely how much effort it will take to crush you beneath my feet."
"Don't say I didn't warn you." With a brief yet guttural yell Nail raised his power, a white aura igniting and kicking up a huge cloud of dust.
"Hmmm" Frieza watched the numbers rise, before settling finally on a rather impressive number. "Perhaps there was a grain of truth to your boast after all...42,000 is far from a laughing matter to most people...however...next to me it is nothi-"
Without telegraphing his move Nail lunged forward, planting a full kick into Frieza's chest. Enough force to send him skidding back over a hundred feet, despite digging his feet firmly into the ground.
With a look of shock on his face his eye flicked to the scouter once more. "You are full of surprises...a power like that might even have a chance against the esteemed Captain Ginyu...now then...let us see how it fares against the might of Lord Frieza!" A small burst of power blasted the dirt around him away, as he quickly caught Nail's next strike.
