AN: Hola everyone. :) Sorry for not updating. I just couldn't find the time.
We had a lot going on this week, what with our school's Halloween dance, my 10 mile walk through the forest, and going shopping with my friends. I've been booked all week so here you guys go.
I've been writing this for 30 minutes and I'm practically high on exhaustion. Don't judge me. :D
Also, we hit the 100 review mark! I'd really like to thank anyone and everyone that helped get this story to the point that it's at right now. Love you guys. :*
Please follow, favorite, and review. Enjoy. :)
-Clary P.O.V-
Meliorn and I talk animatedly while Isabelle "inconspicuously" sits at a table with Simon who she called earlier.
I learn that Meliorn has been single for 10 years and he's actually ready to settle down now. I tell him about my family: about Jace, Charlie, Jordyn, and the new addition to the family. He nods his head and rarely interrupts with his own opinion. Meliorn's a good listener: I like that.
"So, Clary," his moss-green eyes are fixated on me, intensely, I must say. "Do you ever think that Jace will come back?"
I shake my head, shrugging. I ponder over how to answer that for a little while.
"I honestly doubt it."
-Jace P.O.V-
The curvy blonde with unnatural blue eyes walks through the door in an incredibly short skirt and strappy stiletto heels. Her face is caked in all sorts of makeup and her shirt in no longer than a bra. Her fingernails are incredibly long and she's staring at me with a hungry look in her eyes. I sigh, tired of her already.
"Kaelie," I greet her, giving her a kiss on the cheek. Kaelie giggles and wraps her skinny arms around my neck.
"Hi, Jacey," she attempts to look seductively into my eyes. I force myself not to gag and to keep a grin on my face. Do this for Clary, Jace. You just need a favor from her.
I take a deep breath before speaking.
"I need a favor, Kaelie," I say through my teeth.
"What's that?" She licks her pink lips. I swallow the bile in my throat.
"I-"
Before I get a chance to speak, she throws herself on my bed, her mini-skirt riding up way too far.
"I'm so glad that you finally came to your senses and ditched that dumpy fat redhead. I mean, how many fucking children has she had? She looks so bloated, kind of like a whale," she shivers at the thought of Clary. My Clary.
I grit my teeth and clench my fists in a futile attempt to keep my anger in check.
"Get. The. Fuck. Out."
"What do you mean?" Her eyes are watering now. Oh, shit. Just great.
"I said get the fuck out. If you're going to come here and have the fucking audacity to disrespect my girlfriend, then we're going to have a problem. Get out."
I practically shove her out the door and slam it in her face.
I guess I have to find someone else to do this for me...
Suddenly, I get an idea. I quickly dial the numbers in on my phone.
"Maia?"
-Alec P.O.V-
I snuggle up to Magnus' side. He kisses my forehead and I sigh in contentment. An out of the blue idea suddenly hits me.
"Magnus?"
"Yes, Alexander?"
"Can we call Clary?"
"Oh, my Clare-bear! Sure, why not? I miss that child to pieces, yes I do."
I dial in Clary's number and she picks up on the second ring.
"Hello?" Her light voice reaches my ears.
"Clare?"
"Oh, Alec! How are you?"
"I'm perfect, sweetheart, how are you?"
"I'm flying, Alec. You can't even imagine!"
"What, did Jace propose?" I tease her.
The other end of the line is silent.
"Hello? Clary?"
"Yeah, I'm here," her sweet voice had turned grim.
"Honey, what's going on?"
"These past couple weeks have been... hard."
"Why? Is the baby okay? How about Charlie and Jordyn?"
"They're... coping."
"What's going on, Clare?"
I hear a deep sigh over the other end.
"Jace and I fell out 3 weeks ago. He was in a hotel, last time I checked in with him anyways. I have no idea what he's doing but, to be honest, I don't really care anymore." She tells me the full story, from beginning to end.
At the moment, I can only see red.
"Which hotel, sweetheart?" I ask through gritted teeth.
"The Alicante Resort," she replies hesitantly. "Alec? Are you okay?"
"Peachy, honey. I'll call you back."
"Alexander, don't you dare do anything stupid-"
I hang up the phone and grab my jacket.
"Where are you going, Alexander?" Magnus appears in the doorway, drying his hands with a dishtowel.
"Out."
Magnus narrows his eyes and sighs.
"What did Jace do this time?"
-Jace P.O.V-
I hear a loud pounding on my door and I just assume that it's Maia. I straighten my shirt and rake my hands through my hair. I open the door with a large smile on my face... only to see a fuming Alec.
"Well, hey, Alec!" I exclaim, about to pull him into a hug when he pushes my chest away.
"Don't fucking touch me," he grumbles and stalks into my apartment.
He must have heard about the Clary situation.
I sigh.
"What're you doing here, Alec? And how the hell did you manage to find me?"
"Clary," is the only word he said and it explained everything.
"Sorry, man."
"Sorry. You're saying sorry to me? When the mother of your three children is out there, tearing herself apart, you're saying sorry to me. Typical, Jace. Just fucking typical."
"Alec," my voice sounds pained, even to my ears. What he said was a low blow.
"Shut up. You're too busy here, feeling sorry for your own ass when people out there are suffering because you decided to be a douche. I can't believe you, Jace."
"I've tried to make amends, I really have," I whisper. "She just-she just doesn't trust me."
"Why would she trust you? You fucking hit her, you son of a bitch."
"I know, it's just... I was caught up in the moment, Alec."
"You don't even deserve to say my name, let alone hers. Dick." Alec walks out the door and slams it shut, right in my face. All of the people that I love are just disappearing, one by one. My whole fucking family hates me because I couldn't control myself.
Nice move, Herondale.
AN: So many different P.O.V's like omg. Okay, bye peoples. :*
Love you guys to pieces,
-Sosebo
