Chapter 34
Over then next month SG teams started going off world again. Sam was the leader of SG1 with Daniel and Teal'c. There was no more kidnapping attempts of any of them but they are all stayed alerts just in case.
Jon and Samantha did go to the prom where they had a wonderful time. Jon was crown prom king while the head cheerleader was prom queen.
After SG1 return back from one mission, Janet got Sg1 blood result back. Every thing was normal except for Sam. Janet walk down to Sam lab where she was busy doing up her report. She look up when Janet walk into the room
"Hi Janet, what wrong?"
"Sam I'm banding you from gate trave for the next seven months" she said smiling
"Why?" then her eyes widen, Janet nodded
"Yes Sam your pregnant about seven weeks long"
"That… thank you Janet" then she ran out of the room and down to Jack office. She ran into his office to see him on the red phone
"Yes sir, thank you sir, I'll tell Sam who just ran into my office… hang on sir" then he move the phone away
"Sam what wrong"
"I request a transfer of SG1 for then next eight months"
"Why?" Sam grin at him and put her hands on her stomach he look at where her hands are and his eyes widen
"Are you sure?"
"Janet just told me" then he put the phone back to his ear
"George, you and dad better get another bottle of one hundred year old Scotch… yes that right Sam is pregnant" then he hit the speaker button and put the phone down
"Sir I got you on the speaker phone"
"Sam congratulations" George said
"Thank you sir"
"How are you feeling Sam?"
"Shock, happy"
"I bet you are, next time you hear from Jacob, let him know about the scotch"
"Will do sir"
"Jack look after her"
"Will do sir"
"I got a meeting with the president in few minutes, would you like for me to pass on the good news?"
"Yes sir, thank you" sam said
"Ok, I'll be in touch in few days"
"Ok sir" then the line went dead.
Jack push a button and he stood up and walk around to where Sam is and pulled her into a hug. They both kiss and smile
"We going to have a baby, that is the best news I have had all day"
"I knew you would like it" then he gave her a kiss
"I'll let you send a message to dad"
"Ok, how about we go out for dinner"
"Sounds good to me, so what did you and General Hammond talk about"
"A reward for what we done in the past few weeks, saving earth, the Asgard"
"Ok what is the reward?"
"The extenuations on the house"
"You're joking?"
"Nope, so for the next few months we are going to be living here while our things are going to be in storage while the extenuations are being added on"
"That is wonderful news, I better go and send that message to dad"
"Ok" he gives her a kiss before she walked out of the room.
That night after work, Jack took her out for dinner before going home for the night. He took her to the 'Ritz grill' for dinner. They both talk about the baby and renovations on the house.
When they got home, Sam called Mark to give him the good news, he was happy for them both and would tell the rest of the family. She spoke to him for fifteen minutes before they hung up then she snuggled down under the covers and up to Jack side.
"Mark sounds happy"
"Yeah he is alright, we should tell Jon and Samantha"
"I did that when Jon called, he saw NID truck out side of the school"
"What?" she said in shock
"Yeah he walk over to the truck and told them to leave him alone"
"What did they say"
"One pointed a gun at him and told him to get in, Jon pulled out that finger lazier thing and pointed at the tyre and fired it then told them that if they fire the gun. His mate would end up with the bullet in him, plus they would shot a teenager out side of the school, then he turn and walk away, when he got half way he heard a ping"
"Silencer"
"Yeah that what he thinks, but it bounce off him and ended up in the back tyre"
"So they didn't follow him?"
"No, not with two flat tyres"
"Sounds like they are still out there?"
"Yeah, that is what I'm thinking also"
"Well what did he say with the baby news?"
"He is happy for us and will tell Samantha tonight"
"Ok we should tell the others tomorrow"
"Good idea, lets get some sleep"
"Yeah" Jack turn off the lights and they both kiss before they both close their eyes and fell asleep in each other arms.
The next day they told Daniel and Teal'c. They were happy for them and news spread about Sam pregnancy, and then the bets were on about when she due just likes with Samantha.
Two weeks later Jack and Sam move onto the base while their home was being renovated. Two days later Jacob showed up he was happy and shocks when he saw both Sam and Samantha. He gives them both a hug and talked to them both as they walk out of the gate room. Jacob spent two days with them before flying out to San Diego where he spent a week with the family before returning back to the tok'ra.
The day he was leaving was also the day Sam had her first ultra sound. When Janet look at the monitor she raised an eye brow, then she turn to look at Jack and Sam
"Janet what wrong?"
"Congratulation you carrying quads"
"Four, oh my god"
"What a way to have a family" jack said smiling then gives Sam a kiss.
After Janet wipe the gel off Sam and pit the ultra sound machine away, Sam got off the bed and tired up her clothes then Janet pulled back the curtain
"Ok Sam you remember what we talk about yesterday?"
"Yes"
"Good, now I'll leave you two to tell the others"
"Ok, thanks Janet"
"No worries, but come back in a month so I can check to see if every thing is ok" as she pass Sam a bottle of tablets
"Ok, thanks" then they walk out the door to see Jacob, Samantha, Daniel and Teal'c waiting for them
"Is every thing ok?" Jacob asked
"Yes every thing is just fine dad, I'm glad you dill got your pension cause you going to need it"
"Why?"
"Cause you going to have four more grand children to buy presents for" Sam said smiling
"Four… quads" he said in shock
"Yep so what do you think?"
"Holly Hannah" every one laugh then gave them a hug and congratulated them both
"Jack I hope you know what you getting your self in to"
"I know and I'm happy"
"You don't mind if I call George do you"
"Sure, go ahead"
"Thanks"
"Well Sam back to work"
"I know, see you at lunch time"
"Sure" he gives her a kiss before parting ways.
Jacob did talk to George and told him about the quads, he sent his congratulation to Jack and Sam. Jacob left to head back to the tok'ra twenty minutes later to pass on the good news to them all. Daniel and Teal'c went off world with other teams till Sam was back from maternity leave.
Over the next to months, Jack let Sam and Samantha has a Saturday off so they could go shopping for maternity clothes and baby clothes. Jon drives Samantha to where she would be meeting Sam, while Daniel and Teal'c drives Sam to meet Samantha. They help with carrying any bags for them.
Once a month Jack goes with them, he could see how happy Sam is and could tell from Jon that he is thinking the same thing with Samantha. Samantha was on maternity leave when she was five month pregnant and was at home on bed rest.
During the week while Jon was at school Samantha had some one with her so she wasn't alone. One day Sam was working in the lab when her phone rings, she got up from the table the best she could and answer the phone
"Carter"
"Sam, it Jon, Samantha having the babies now, I'm on my way to the hospital"
"Ok, I'll let Jack know"
"Thanks" then they hung up, and then she called Jack
"O'Neill"
"Jack it time"
"Time for what?" Sam rolled her eyes
"Jack Samantha gone into labour"
"Oh, ok did Jon call you?"
"Yes, I just spoke to him"
"Ok I'll meet you top side soon as I get a couple of things sorted out"
"Ok, want me to tell Daniel and Teal'c?"
"No they are off would with SG8 till tomorrow"
"Ok, see you soon" then they both hung up.
Sam shut every thing down before walking out of her lab. Jack made a couple of calls before walking out of his off and spoke to Walter before leaving to get change and meeting Sam top side. When he saw her, she was stroking her expanding stomach. At fourteen weeks, Sam looked like she ready to give birth any day.
"How are you feeling Sam?"
"Hungry but we can get some thing from the hospital"
"Sure" Jack unlock the doors and help Sam in before walking around to the other side and getting in him self.
Fifteen minutes later they pull in at the hospital car park and got out. Jack got out first then went around and helps Sam out of the truck then before closing and lock the door. Then they walk in to the hospital and down to the maternity ward. When they got there, Jack help Sam sit down before he walk out to find out if Jon and Samantha are there since he didn't see Jon truck when he park his.
When he walk back into the waiting room he got two bottles of water and two packets to potato chips. He past the two packets of chips and bottle water to her before sitting down next to her.
"Jon and Samantha arrived couple of minutes before we did"
"Ok, all we can do is wait"
"Yeah" Jack watches Sam as she ate her snack and drank some of the water. She lean back stroking her stomach while looking at Jack
"Are you ok?" he asked
"Yeah, the kids feel like chocolate chip cookies" Jack smile then stood up
"If that what they want, they shall have, what about you Sam?"
"Chocolate Candy bar for me thanks"
"Ok, I'll be right back" then he walk out of the room. Sam look over to where an elderly couple is, they were looking at Sam.
"Excuse you aren't you Major Samantha Carter?"
"Yes and it Colonel Carter now"
"Congratulations on your promotion"
"Thank you, Jack even got promoted, he a general now"
"A general, wow, when are you due?"
"In five months or less, I'm carry quads, that is why I look like this" she patted her stomach
"Quad, congratulation, out grandson wife is giving birth for their first child, we looking ford to meeting out first great grand child"
"I bet you are" she said smiling
Then Jack walk back in with chocolate bars and cookies in hand. He sat next to Sam and passes them to her
"Thanks Jack" she put the bars and cookies down except for one that she opens and started munching on it
"Good" he asked
"Yep, this should keep the kids happy for a while"
"Ok, let me know if there is any thing else you want"
"Will do" then she bites into her cookie while Jack stroke her stomach while looking at her with a smile on his face.
The elderly couple watch Jack and Sam, they could see the love they have for each other and the way Jack stroke Sam stomach while she was eating, whispering things in her ear which makes her smile every time.
Half an hour later a guy who was wearing green scrubs walk into the room, Jack and Sam watch the elderly couples stand up
"It twins, boy and a girl"
"Oh my how is Ann?"
"Good they are all good the kids are perfect, ten fingers, ten toes"
"That is wonderful news, you sure can be full of surprises"
"I know grand dad, I'll let you know when you can see them" after they hug
"Sure" then he walk out of the room, the elderly couple hug each other
"Congratulations" Sam said
"Thank you" then they sat down while holding hands and smiling still.
Ten minutes later the guy walk in and got his grandparents to follow him leaving Jack and Sam alone.
"Jack can you help me up I need to got to the bathroom"
Jack stood up and helps Sam up then they walk down to where the ladies room is. Sam walked in while Jack waited for her out side. While he was waiting for Sam he saw a nurse and spoke to her, then she walk into the women toilets.
Minute later Sam and the nurse walk out. Sam thanks her for her help before they went their septate ways. Jack and Sam walk back to the waiting room and sat down and wait to hear from Jon. They talk and Jack get what ever snacks Sam wanted for the next four hour till Jacob walk in the room
"Dad" Sam said smiling
"Hi kiddo, Jack" he shack Jack hand and kiss Sam forehead
"Dad"
"Any news?"
"Nothing yet, hows things with the tok'ra?"
"Good, I was checking out a planet when Walter sent the message to the tok'ra"
"Ok, well all we can do is wait"
"Sure, so how are you felling Sam?"
"Good, kids kicking up a fuse when I don't feed them" Jacob chuckled
"You were like that before you were born"
"Thanks" he sat down across from them
"How the renovations coming along?"
"Good if all goes well we will be back at home before thanks giving at the end of the month"
"Ok, how many bedroom is it going to be?"
"Well as you know what it look like before the renovations, well we adding a games and turning one of the smaller bedrooms into a study for Sam"
"The one where her computer use to be?"
"Yep, they going to be book shelves built in and the room painted"
"Ok good idea, what about up stairs?"
"Nine bedroom five bathroom up stairs"
"Wow, at lest you got four of the rooms for the kids"
"We know, at lest the bed rooms down stairs would be good for when we have guests like Mark and the family come to visit"
"Good idea"
They talk for ten minutes when Jon walk into the room wearing green scrubs. They all got up as he walk over to them
"Dad surprise seeing you here"
"And why not, how is Samantha?"
"Tried, but good"
"Kids?"
"Two girls and a boy all over five pounds each"
"Wow are they moving Samantha in to a room?"
"Yeah, where Daniel and Teal'c?"
"Off world with SG8 till tomorrow" Sam said
"Ok well I'm going to head back, a nurse will come and get you guys" then he turn and walk out of the room.
