The car journey was filled with random conversations and offcourse, Derek didn't speak once he continued to look ahead. Erinn knew he was soo pissed but even as she even tried to lighten the mood she just assumed she was just annoying everyone by over talking so she stopped. Liam was looking ill, his forehead was dripping with sweat, Erinn noticed Derek had picked up on the younger boys anxious face.

"Liam are you okay?". Erinn asked as she moved closer to him.

"I, something's wrong". Liam looked afraid.

Derek climbed in the back getting closer to Liam, placing his hand on the younger boys forehead.

"Your burning up".

"I feel, like I'm loosing control". Erinn now concerned as she looked ahead she realised why Liam was freaking out.

"It's a fullmoon".Derek looked ahead. " Liam you need to stay calm".

"I'm trying". Erinn looked ahead Stiles looked worried he quickly lifted what looked to be handcuffs and handed them to Derek. Derek chained Liam's hands to the seat he was sitting on, as he did this he looked to Erinn who was now looking unsure and worried.

"Erinn, how do you feel?". Erinn stared into Derek's eyes, "I'm okay?".

"You telling the truth". Erinn nodded. "Yes!".

Erinn didn't feel anything other than worry for Liam, maybe it was because Derek was close was something inside her felt unsettle slightly by Liam now growling at Derek.

"You need to calm down". Stiles said.

Derek pushed Liam back as he broke free, and then went on to try and calm him down. The whole time Liam was pushing and fighting back the car began shake and lose control. Liam eyes where glowing yellow, his hands now wolflike and everything about him was riled up. Liam kept pushing and the more he did the more Derek and Stiles fought back to hold him down. Erinn knew she wasn't the best person to be helping but she moved to help, Derek was flung backwards causing even Stiles to worry.

"Liam!". Erinn screamed as pushed back, her anger building even though she knew this wasn't Liam's fault.

Erinn couldn't help but feel helpless for shouting but it had worked she now had Liam's attention.

"You need to calm". Liam nodded.

Derek eventually tried a calming technique which for some reason upset Liam more and then Stiles tried to and it worked. The talking calmed him down making Liams human side come back from the pull of the moon. He looked guilty as he looked at everyone, she hated seeing the younger man feel that she wanted hug him but she knew he probably wanted to be left alone. Derek on the other hand looked okay his scent was the same and there was no blood he looked okay. Exhausted but alright.

"I'm sorry Erinn". Liam mumbled.

"Good thing you got back in control". She smiled.

"Yeah you were lucky, you think you can use that energy when we're going to help Scott". Derek smirked at Liam who nodded.

Derek had noticed now Erinn eyes were still glowing, he wasn't sure what she was going to do next so he scooted close to her.

"Erinn your eyes". Derek told her as he look directly at her.

"What?". She answered back confused.

"Your eyes are violet". She hadn't felt any different maybe it was just because Liam was affected too.

"Oh, really". Erinn was confused.

"The moon probably affecting you also, how do you feel". Erinn nodded.

"I'm fine". Erinn give him an assured looked.

She was lying yes she felt strange as she continued to stare at Liam and then to Derek. It was as if she was searching for something wasn't there, she tried to shake of the feeling but nothing. Liam was calmed now thanks to Stiles but Erinn felt disconnected like her inner self was trying break out. Derek continued to stare at her and then to the now calm Liam, everything was okay for now she thought as the drove ahead. Then the car came to a stop and the beginning of an end happened.

The doors opened quickly and the masked creatures now stood staring at everyone there wasn't time to think before everyone but her and Stiles jumped out of the van. Erinn couldn't believe everyone readiness so as she jumped out one of the creatures made a run for her gripping her shoulder and throwing her completely off her feet, thud she felt her body make an unpleasant sound but as she went push herself up Derek was now in mid fight mode fighting the creature but due to his lack off strength now he was unable to hold of the creature for long. Erinn tried to get up but she was stopped by the pain in her foot and side but Braeden came running helping the younger girl up.

"I'm okay, help Derek please". Braeden and Erinn watched as the creature gripped Derek by his shoulder and continued to pound into Derek's body. Braeden released Erinn grabbing her gun and shooting at the thing but nothing was stopping it. It was as if time had frozen completely Erinn was left to watch as the sharp part of the creature's hand began push itself through Derek chest. The pain stopped slightly as she ran towards Derek the creature dropping the now limp Derek on the floor. She could hardly believe this had happened in a short amount of time, her body moved towards his and she collapsed next him.

"No! Derek!". Erinn screamed.

Derek was now hunched onto a rock keeping him up, Erinn touched his arm gently.

"You were right, I… this is my fault".

"No… its not".

"You were protecting me".

"I wanted to always protect you". Derek coughed blood was coming from his move, his eyes looked drowsy.

"This time, your hurt real bad".

"I am, but it's not your fault".

"I… Derek please don't go, we can get you help". Erinn pleaded tears dripping from her face.

"She's right Derek, we can get you outta here". Braeden crunched down to them.

"We both know I'm not going to make it Braeden". Erinn eyes began to pour. "I need you get her away from here, both of you need to go!". Derek said tensely his lip coated in blood.

"We need to leave, now". Braeden went to lift Erinn who wouldn't budge.

"I can't leave him". Erinn winced as Braeden tried to lift her.

"We have to, Derek's right". Braeden pleaded with Erinn.

"Please don't make me do this". Erinn gazed at Braeden.

"You have to get to safety". Erinn continued to look at the now fading Derek.

Derek wanted to reach up hold her close, for the first time since Cora was sick he felt afraid. He wanted Erinn to be safe hidden away from all the death that had befallen her, but he also knew this time he was hurt bad and being now human he wasn't going to heal.

"Please be safe Erinn, I...love you".

"I can't Derek, wait what?". Erinn moved closer to Derek.

"You have to if I've meant anything to you, you have to keep yourself safe or me loving you would have been for nothing". Derek's breathing was becoming weakened.

"I...love you too". Erinn cried into herself. " I want you to be okay". she whispered holding her hand to his face.

"I know but this time I'm not, you need to make sure your away from danger".

"I'll never ever forget you, I won't and I can't". Erinn leaned forward placing a kiss on his cheek.

"Good". Derek give a small smile before pulling her close to him, the kiss didn't last long but to both Erinn and Derek it felt forever. He slowly released her and looked into her eyes before Braeden grabbed her.

Leaving him sitting there on the ground was heartbreaking as if someone had torn her heart out and ripped it apart. Derek was gone, and there was nothing she could to make him come back. Erinn felt useless and empty, why bring him into her life have him be taken away.

They ran through the bullets, Braeden protecting Erinn as the rest tried to fight everyone off. Erinn looked around watching as the Chaos erupted, Kate Argent was the enemy and as she continued to be angered she quickly moved away from Braeden.

"Erinn, No!".

kate Argent was right in front of her just staring down at her with a smirk, Erinn didn't feel afraid.

"Haven't you made everyone suffer enough". Erinn stood fierce.

"You should run on little girl". Kate yelped back.

"No, I won't I'm not afraid of you".Erinn shouted trying maintain her confidence she was no longer some meek person she was stronger she felt stronger.

"You should be".

"But I'm not, you hated Derek that much..you killed all of his family and now him. Your not getting away with this not now".

"What are you going to do".

"Stop you". Erinn could feel the strength build within her.

"Move away now, you're alive because you we're Alison's friend. I'm gonna give you a head start and then we're finishing this". Kate growled.

"Alison didn't kill for fun, she was good and using her name while you've just murdered someone is disgusting". Erinn was shocked at the venom in her voice she wanted to rip the other women into pieces.

"You know nothing, Alison died because of you morons". Kate stepped closer.

"Alison died protecting the people she loved".

"She died saving people she couldn't trust". Kate screamed back. "Now I'm done talking let me enjoy ripping your throat out with my teeth".

"I'm not exactly human". Erinn chimed back.

"Oh, really we'll this has just got more fun". Kate ran to Erinn.

Kate's moved forwards attempted to hit Erinn but to both their shock she was faster than the older women. Erinn then ran forward but before she could feel any contact with Kate a black wolf began fighting Kate.

Derek stood in front of them quickly running to one of the creatures and ribbing the skull of his face making a huge light shine as he did. kate and looked down saying something that shocked her and everyone else.

"I evolved something you'll never do".

Derek was alive, Erinn couldn't wrap her mind around about him not being dead.. He was standing right infront of her alive and unharmed and of course very naked.

Erinn was unsure what to do next, Braeden came behind her placing her hand on Erinn shoulder almost giving her a nudge to moved. Erinn's legs felt like jelly as he walked towards her confident in each movement unashamed of the lack of clothing. Erinn walked slightly forward in awe at him standing there alive. Her senses were even more heightened, her smell her emotions and her need to run to him was uncontrollable.

Erinn didn't think much as he stopped waiting for her, she ran as fast as she could her arms wrapping around her her neck. He alive, that's all that mattered and Scott was out of harms way. Derek arms lifted her off the ground his face burying itself into the crook of her neck, he was breathing hard. Erinn loved the feeling of him being strong and holding her off the ground, it had felt like forever as the enjoyed his others arms around each other. He gently pressed his lips to her ear.

"I sorry I scared you". his voice filled with more emotion and she'd ever heard.

She smiled as he held her close, he set her down gently holding her face with his hand gently stroking her cheek. She could feel something building up in her as she stared at him, Derek looked shocked as her eyes began to change.

"Your eyes". Erinn had noticed his also has turned colour.

"Your's are back to normal". Erinn let out a small giggle.

Derek was still unsure why?, but he was sure it was something deeper that both their eyes had changed. He felt shelter in that thought, he couldn't believe he was granted a second chance with her. Something that had never happened to him before, and yet he knew that whatever lay ahead for both of them would a new adventure.

"I can't believe you're alive". Erinn held her arms around him tighter. " I watched that thing rip into you, I didn't know what to do". Erinn let out a deep breath.

"Im here that all that matters, but the question is why are you?". Erinn looked up to him and give him a sheepish look.

"I… I'm sorry I didn't listen to you". Erinn was unsure she had never once listened to him.

"You never do". Derek tilted his head.

"I know, But I wanted to but something in me stopped me

like need, a pull towards something". Derek continued to stare in her eyes.

"yes, am i going crazy". Erinn stepped back she felt so unsure.

"Nope, your not going crazy". Derek touched her face gently.

"Then what wrong with me?". Erinn hoped he knew something.

"From the beginning we've been connected, I think my inner wolf is connected to you and that's why we're drawn to one another". Derek voice was soulful.

"So your saying I'm probably a wolf". Derek nodded.

"Yes but not like me in some ways, we'll find out some way or another what you are Erinn I promise". He give her stern look.

"So what now?". Erinn asked.

"we go home, you go back to school and then we figure out how to make this. Us work?". Derek shocked her even more he wanted them and be friends but them to be together.

"Your joking". Erinn questioned him further more.

"I don't joke, remember". Derek looked at her seriously before giving her a smirk.

"Never, say never". Erinn flirted back.

"I want you Erinn, in way I've never wanted anyone before".

Scott watched his friend interact Erinn, they looked lost with eachother. He knew he wanted be al protective of Erinn but the time wasn't right, he could tell she was soo happy Derek was safe. He was too, even Stiles watched Derek talk to the younger girl, it made sense after all watching Erinn be defeated at the scene of Derek dead it had explained alot life was going get even more interesting aside from the last three years. Derek Hale was in love and that wasn't something he had expected/

"So, you wana get out of here".

"Yes, I think going home sounds great".

"Deffo". Erinn shouted ahead of stiles.

"Mexico is nice but please can we refrain from following the monsters this time".

"I agree to that".

"You coming Erinn?". She stared to Derek who was following the rest but to the van.

"ICan I go with you?".

"I'd like that". Derek smiled.

Yeap he was back but the look in his eyes where more hunting than ever, like he was promising something that she wasn't sure about.
