I HAVE RETURNED FROM THE GRAVE! Here is the latest chapter and I don't know why but I feel very satisfied with this chapter. Maybe its because of the last scene.

I hope you enjoy!111

Jake walked along the hallways of his family manor, his steps resounding in the silent hallway. Every passing day he was getting more anxious, since the werewolves were in a treaty with the hunters –the royals- they were invited to any event that had to do with them, thus meaning that he would be attending Haruhi's engagement part which for Jake was a big deal because he would have to see that one that he loves admitting that she's being committed to another for the rest of her life. And he wasn't prepared to seeing Haruhi after almost 8 months that have passed so he wouldn't know how to react but he had a pretty good guess on how his heart would. Jake entered the den and he just threw himself at one of the couches, he didn't have to mind on being silent since the only person that was there was Alexandra.

"Can you stop being so glum?! You're ruining the mood right now!" Alexandra yelled at her brother as she saw him wallowing in his misery.

"I can't help it. I feel like I'm dying." Jake mumbled into the pillow that he was using.

"Stop being sad. You knew that this was going to happen one day. Under the circumstances that Haruhi and you cannot be married –despite that being the only condition that was imposed when they did the arrangement for the marriage- then the princess has every chance at getting married to ensure the purity of the hunter's bloodline and the continuation of the royal family."

"But that wasn't supposed to happen!" Jake yelled into the pillow.

"Oh shut up."

Jake growled at Alexandra to make a point that he was mad but she just brushed it off as stupidity.

"Since Luke is "dead", she has to do whatever she has to just so the hunters can continue to have a royal bloodline. When she was going to marry you, it was only going to be just so the hunters and wolves could have an alliance but now that she's Crown Princess, she needs to marry some smug posh guy and have tiny little hunters that might end up marrying mine or your kids so don't get grumpy." Alexandra explained as she went to rub her brother's back.

Jake jumped from lying down on the couch to sitting down. "I can't help but feel helpless every time that I heard news about Haruhi marrying that guy! It's not like I'm jealous or anything-"

"But you are." Alexandra interrupted him as she raised her hand like if she were a child in class.

"Shut up Alex! I'm just saying that I wish that none of this would have happened and I could still be Haruhi's fiancé." Jake said as he started to wave his hands to make his point.

"I know. I wish that Luke didn't get turned into a vampire but he did and there's nothing I can do. Even though I wish I could have done something." Alexandra said as she cupped Jake's face in her hands and looked straight at him. "You of all people know that we can't get what we want. We have to be happy about what we get. You should be happy of the time that you got to spend with her, that's the one thing that you should keep in your mind. Be happy of the fact she getting married with one of her people and not being forced by a vampire."

"You're right. When we go to France this weekend, I'm going to congratulate her and I'm going to try be happy for her." Jake nodded as he made his resolve.

"You should be happy for her. After everything she's gone through, she's managed to stay strong." Alexandra smiled as she thought about Haruhi. "Now move your ass, you need to get tailored for your suit."

Haruhi walked calmly on the streets in Paris as she didn't feel fear for her wellbeing since she was being followed by her bodyguards and she was only going to go the first fitting of her wedding dress despite the fact that there were still 2 months till the date of the wedding. She soon entered the tailor's shop –the tailor and her family have been the royal hunter family's tailors for century's now- and was greeted by the tailor and her daughters that were efficient in making Haruhi put on the dress so they could see how progress on the dress was going. Once Haruhi was lifted onto the podium for the tailor to look at how the dress fitted Haruhi, they instantly started fussing over how well the dress fitted her.

The dress was an ivory white that made her skin look even paler than it already was, the chest area was made of lace that covered her arms with two short sleeves but revealed her cleavage with its 'v' neckline, it was embroidered with small diamonds and white pearls that made the dress look even more elegant and the back of the dress showed off her shoulder blades as it dipped to blend with her spinal cord but the fabric for the back of the dress was transparent with only a few of the embroidery being showed. The dress fitted her for the entire top part but once it reached her waist, the skirt fell to the floor as it was very wide.

What Haruhi didn't notice was that there someone she hadn't seen in a long time seeing her in that wedding dress who felt his heart constrict itself seeing her. Kaoru stood by the tailor's shop just to see how the dress fitted Haruhi, he noticed that white was a beautiful color on her and that the dress was beautiful though he thought that he could make a better dress for her. Kaoru felt revived every second that he got to see her in person despite thinking that it would be better to be in the same room as her. He honestly didn't think that he would find her so easily after the fight with others but here he was; looking at Haruhi as if she was the only person in the world to him.

Haruhi could only feel someone's eyes on her as she stood on the podium but she couldn't understand who would stare at her for this long if to everyone else she was only a bride that was trying on a dress. Thus making her reach the conclusion that a vampire had noticed her and recognized her as the princess, Haruhi was only going to look over her shoulder to see if she recognized the vampire that was observing her. The second after Haruhi looked over her shoulder to see if she knew who it was had her choking on her own spit. She didn't think that she would see one of the twins looking at her, she couldn't recognize which twin it was. She needed to know which it was.

"Can we finish? I just want some minor adjustments to the chest area since I feel like I'm revealing too much."

"Of course, madam. Girls, get Her Highness out of the dress." Haruhi was instantly removed from the podium and taken back to take off the dress so she could get dressed back in her normal attire. She looked out of the dressing room once she finished to see if the twin was still there but he wasn't. She knew she would have to look for him just to talk to him, she noticed that her guards were still at the café where she told them to wait for her until she finished. She walked out casually out of the tailor's shop not making herself notice, once she was out of the visual range of her guards she ran towards the direction that she was certain that the twin went for. She stopped when she found him leaning on a bridge looking at the sun setting to make room for the crescent moon, she didn't know how she could approach him so she just stood close to him. He sighed and turned to look at her with watery eyes and a weak smile that constricted her heart.

"I must be dreaming….. The person in front of me cannot be… No, it just can't be….. Am I on drugs? Or am I dying?" Were Haruhi's initial thoughts as she looked at Kaoru who looked like he was on the verge of tears. She didn't honestly think that it was going to be him or Hikaru that she was going to see ever again in her life. She took in a breather before talking to him.

"Why are you so sad, Kaoru? I thought you were happy seeing me in that dress." Haruhi spoke as she took in his reaction. His smile faltered before he shook his head looking at her in the eye as he replied.

"I'm partially happy, may I let you know. Because I got to see you after so long that my heart is aching because you've become so beautiful since the last time that I saw you." He laughed before looking at her and placing a hand on her cheek. "But I'm sad because you were wearing that dress for another man that isn't me."

Haruhi looked at him with wide eyes before remembering that she shouldn't be doing what she is doing. She shouldn't be talking to him. She knows that if she were to talk to any of the guys, her feelings for them would make her doubt the fact that she is to get married.

"I'm sorry. This is a mistake, Kaoru. I have to go." She answered while making a movement to leave but his hand that suddenly appeared on her wrist didn't let her move.

"Haruhi, please don't run away from me again. I'm tired, I want to love you but I don't want to end your marriage." Kaoru said as he held her wrist tightly.

"But-" Haruhi tried to speak but was cut.

"Let me express my love for you Haruhi. Let me drown in you just for this moment." Those were the last things Haruhi heard him say before he covered her plump lips with his own. That kiss made Haruhi feel alive, made her feel things that she hadn't felt in over 8 months. But it was also a sinful kiss for she was already going to be another's but she didn't mind that for all she wanted to feel alive again. Haruhi kissed Kaoru back as fervently as he kissed her, both of them letting themselves drown in that kiss just once.

I SHIP IT! I really think that I did a great job on this chapter! How many of you liked this last scene? I would have continued the chapter which would have ended in some dirty things happening but I decided to be a cockblocker to my own story so hate me if you wanted to see more. I might write a little bit more about this on the next chapter but it will depend on your feedback.

PLEASE REVIEW! I want to read reviews talking about how you guys liked the chapter.

Haruhi's feelings for the guys might be stronger than her sense of duty.

I imagined Kaoru's crying face and I almost cried myself.

Review and you shall see more chapters arrive.
