Hey guys~
It's been a long while I know. I've been getting PM's on to continue this story if i'm going to make another one. To those of your following me, I have been working on other stories and now its school time so I don't have enough time on my hands. But there has been one in the thinking process, as well as Rise of the Guardians. I thought I would treat the devoted fans to a 2 part epilogue of the Ouran story.
Please enjoy.
Five years later
"Will you put me down now?" Kairi asked as she had her arms crossed with rage while being carried into the Hitachiin Studios main entrance by her guard, two other guards were following close behind with her purse and a basket with a cloth covering the top.
"But Lady Kairi, you said so yourself that were exhausted. It is my job to take care of you in any possible way. Even if you don't tire yourself out."
"That doesn't mean carrying me without asking! You're just lucky I'm wearing jeans today! I'm trying to surprise Hikaru!"
"Lady Kairi,-"
"Put me down now!" Kairi commanded; her guard obeyed and gently put her back on her feet. She quickly fixed herself before retrieving her purse and her basket. "Thank you. Now I won't take long, I'm just bringing Hikaru some lunch. Wait for me in the car ok?"
"Are you sure you'll be alright by yourself, Lady Kairi?" One of the guards asked.
The second guard followed; "If you collapse from exhaustion"-
"I said I'll be fine. Now go and wait for me in the car please."
The guards quickly bowed their heads to her as she sighed with relief. "Finally! God, it was bad to tell them in the first place." She started walking towards the elevators to visit Hikaru; many of the employees bowed to her in respect when she past by and gave her a pleasant greeting, in return she smiled and thanked them for their kindness. She jumped into the elevator just in time before it closed without her and she pressed the 7th floor button to Hikaru's office.
She peered into her reflection off the elevator doors to check herself. After high school, she never revealed to anyone that she was a female in the host club so she grew out her hair and dyed it a dark brown color and begun to wear more feminine clothing. 'Kaoru' was never really heard of again but it was alright with her. The host club also disbanded after everyone officially graduated;
Haruhi went off to a university in America to study Law in the footsteps of her mother with Tamaki following her, last she heard of them Haruhi became a successful lawyer and married Tamaki right after. Kyoya, rejected the offer of his father to take over the family name, went off on his own and started his own medical business that eventually succeeded over his father's business and his brothers now work for him. Honey inherited the Haninozuka title as the clan leader and continued the legacy of martial arts with Mori at his side, he was also the first host to get married to Reiko, a former customer of his when they were in Hostclub.
Kairi inherited the title as head of the Hatake Yakuza clan and took over her father's business, recruiting members for the Yakuza and train them to be guards or police officers. Hikaru worked with his mother and in no time became a world class fashion designer with his own company. In fact, tonight was the night he was to reveal his clothing line for the Autumn season. She knew he was busy getting ready for tonight doing last minute details and what not but she knew just a few minutes wouldn't kill him.
The elevator made a loud ding, announcing the arrival of the floor and the mirrored doors open. Kairi exited and walked down the hall where a pretty blonde receptionist sat behind a desk, typing away on her laptop and almost didn't notice Kairi until she came up to her.
"Hey Katherine." Kairi greeted brightly.
Katherine stopped typing and grinned;"Oh good afternoon, Lady Kairi. I didn't expect you to come today."
"I'm just here to surprise Hikaru, is he in his office?"
"Oh yes, please go right ahead."
Kairi nodded and she went down the hall to Hikaru's office.
It was a mess.
There was torn fabric everywhere, there was a finished pinned dress on a mannequin in the corner and his desk was cluttered with papers and his laptop. She seriously hoped that he wasn't buried in the pile of fabric. She put the basket and her purse on his desk, cleaning up the clutter a little to make room. Accidently she tipped over a photo frame in the process; when she picked it up, she smiled once more.
It was a picture of their wedding day, Hikaru wore an Italian black tux with a light blue tie as Kairi wore a strapless white gown with a train that circled around them Hikaru's mother insisted on designing for her. She remembered the day he proposed to her just a little while after graduating from the Ouran University, she couldn't say yes fast enough.
Suddenly and orange sash was wrapped around her when she placed the frame down on the table and her back collided with someone's chests.
"Where have you've been, mi amore?" Her husband, Hikaru, asked sweetly.
"I was wondering the same question." Kairi replied. "I was hoping you weren't under the pile of fabric over there in the corner."
"There was an emergency I had to deal with, interns always ruin everything." He complained.
"They're just doing their best, don't be so hard on them. Oh I also brought lunch for you." Kairi released herself from her sash prison and reached over the table to get her basket to show him. "I made your favorite for lunch."
"Oh really?" Hikaru took the basket from her to look inside but instead leaned against her until she was pressed on the desk and Hikaru wrapped his free arm around her waist. "Does that mean I can eat you up for lunch?"
Kairi smirked. "Nice try, but you still got a fashion show to get together."
"Tsk, you're not fun."
"We did it before breakfast."
"And in the shower and before I left." He added on.
"You sex obsessed maniac." She giggled.
"So you're definitely coming tonight right?"
"As if I had a choice." She joked. "Besides, how can you possibly look good without me by your side?"
"I was about to say the same thing." Hikaru gave her a kiss. "Oh and before I forget, I'm holding the after party in our home but I have a special surprise for you tonight."
"As do I." Kairi confessed.
"I bet my surprise is bigger." He teased.
"I seriously doubt it."
