Kethlun Warder, journeyman glassblower, was a proud man. He had talent.
One day, he walked along the Syth. Of course, Lakik the Trickster decided that was the perfect moment for a lightning storm.
Keth panicked and forgot to stay close to the ground. His mind went blank.
His recovery took months. It was a mockery when he couldn't work.
Ashamed, he traveled.
In Tharios, he was discovered by the only other living lightning mage. A fourteen year old girl.
Lakik's teeth! She was going to teach him?
Keth swore in the distance, he could hear Lakik's laughter.
