Chapter 5-The Escorts! The Land of Sun?!
The Hokage sat in front of Nobuki and the sun was at its peak. The noon was at hand and Nobuki, Kohaku, and Haruko stood waiting for the orders for this mission. Nobuki couldn't help, but be slightly angry as he was pulled away from his training. If he had got a couple more minutes he would have stolen the Four-Tails chakra.
the Hokage explained.
Nobuki nodded his annoyance and anger flaring to intense levels. The Hokage could have sent another team for this. Nobuki couldn't believe his fight had been disturbed by a flush them out mission. Nobuki was sure if he made some hand signs and made some more clones he could have won. They left the office and Nobuki stood with Kohaku ready to speak.
Kohaku said.
Nobuki asked. Haruko looked at him shocked and Kohaku laughed.
Kohaku said nodding. Haruko raised her eyebrows and Nobuki waved her off.
Kohaku said and Nobuki nodded. Nobuki walked towards the exit, but was almost ran over by a person. Nobuki waited as the others past him. Nobuki picked up a paper the person had dropped. Nobuki didn't have time to look at it and he stashed it in his pocket.
Kohaku said and Nobuki hurried up and followed them. Nobuki could tell from standing behind them that Haruko and Kohaku had either separated or not trying to publicize their relationship. Nobuki frowned as he had only been here for a third of the year and already they were faltering.
Nobuki watched them walk and realized they were walking out of the village right now. Nobuki was a little taken back and Nobuki started to ask a question.
Nobuki asked.
Kohaku said. Nobuki shrugged and walked on as they were approaching the stairs. Nobuki walked up and he passed Haruko and walked up the stairs with Kohaku.
Nobuki whispered.
Kohaku explained speaking softly. By the time Kohaku had said all of that they were up the stairs and out the village.
Nobuki asked.
Kohaku said. Nobuki nodded and realized that Haruko had been listening to every word they said and he smiled as Haruko was trying to figure out what to get him for his birthday. Nobuki thought about his birthday's from the past. They were pretty good, but they always seemed to be lacking. His birthday was in October on fifteenth. It currently was August and about to end in a week. That meant Kohaku's birthday was in September.
Nobuki said. Haruko walked up and they started to jog and Kohaku lead the way. Nobuki couldn't help, but get lost on the path. He wasn't lost physically, but mentally. He couldn't help, but think that even if he did get the Four-Tails chakra how would he ever become friends with Four-Tails?
Nobuki would be angry if someone stole his chakra. Nobuki didn't understand why people didn't respect Tailed Beasts after the war had happened. It's like no one understood the point of the war. They were making Obito Uchiha right. Nobuki would change the world for the right path. The reason for Naruto to fight so valiantly was so the world was at peace. Now they were heading to the Land of Sun to stop a minor chaos before a major chaos happened.
Nobuki and the group walked until they arrived at gate. The gate had the words written on it Land of Sun. Kohaku nodded and he started to approach the gate. The gate was closed and Kohaku went up the gate and pushed it open. It swung open to reveal the civil war happening in front of them. The sound of metal clashing and men grunting and the sound of fire and earth moving filled the air. A disturbing smell of smoke filled the air and with some sight it revealed a number of houses were burning. The rogue ninja were dominating the warriors from the Land of the Sun.
Kohaku said.
Haruko said. Nobuki nodded as they had to take this seriously. As they scoped the scene of the fight a kunai bomb dug into the earth in front of them. Kohaku grabbed Haruko and hit the floor covering her and Nobuki made a couple hands signs.
Nobuki said. Water coming out of his mouth in an instant. This all had happened very fast and the bomb went off. The water shielded most of the blast. Kohaku got off of Haruko and the wall fell into the ground and the land around them moistened.
Haruko said.
Kohaku said. The ninja responsible for the kunai bomb ran into the middle of the fight with explosive tags flying in the air around the fight.
Kohaku ordered. Haruko nodded and jumped in the air towards the fight and she came down with a kick making the men shriek in terror and back up in fear.
Nobuki asked.
Kohaku said. Nobuki nodded and they ran in. A man jumped at Kohaku without him knowing and Nobuki pulled a shuriken out and threw it at his neck. The shuriken hit, but the momentum was still there and Kohaku realized that and punched the man when he was close.
Kohaku said smiling. They ran into the fight now and they were back to back. Nobuki grabbed a man close to him and picked him up by the shirt and threw him into the crowd. Kohaku made a Rasengan as the men around them ran at them. Kohaku made the Rasengan hit the ground. Nobuki jumped up as Kohaku flew into the air. The ground crumbled and the ninja fell.
Kohaku said. Nobuki understood what he was saying and he landed on the floor. Kohaku went into Nine-Tails Chakra Mode and his chakra hands flew out his side and he guarded Nobuki so he could make his Rasen-Hurricane.
Nobuki made his Rasengan and added his water chakra and he soon stood with his Rasen-Hurricane. Haruko started to yell with anger and the sound of a boulder being punched and fell apart. Kohaku saw the Rasen-Hurricane and he and Nobuki jumped in the air. Kohaku flew to the side and helped Haruko. Nobuki flew into the ground with his Rasengan and the water exploded swallowing the men. Kohaku's chakra arm grabbed Nobuki pulling him out of the blast.
The men that they were fighting were unconscious and the battlefield was quiet. Kohaku turned back into himself and Haruko exhaled deeply and Nobuki looked as the land scape they were fighting was dry and full of dirt. The place seemed to use to have buildings, but now flames were encasing them. Nobuki made the hand sign Snake. He made only a small amount of water compared to the volume of water this jutsu uses. He made enough to extinguished the flames and they stood around looking for the head of the village.
Kohaku said,
Haruko said looking at the ground. The heads of the men revealed that some weren't wearing headbands.
a voice said. From the horizon came some men with headbands on. The symbol on their forehead protectors were a sun. Soon a man stepped out from the ranks.
Nobuki asked noticing these men were ninja.
the man said.
Kohaku said. The ninja faces scrunched up in fear, but soon they returned to normal. The unconscious ninja stirred and Nobuki wondered what the Heat ninja would do.
the man said. Kohaku nodded and grabbed Haruko's hand and his and Nobuki made them appear in the street of Konoha. It was about the end of the afternoon on the edge of twilight.
Haruko said. Kohaku nodded and he and Nobuki walked into their apartment building. Nobuki entered his apartment with Kishi sleeping on his bed. Mishikana was still awake and Mishi barked greeting Nobuki. Nobuki smiled as he sat down on his couch and he and Mishikana slept on the couch man and his girlfriend's best friend.
