Story by Dream Web

Well... A little too short right? I am working on the next Long Chapter. Maybe that will be the longest chapter ever in this story. SO... That means more time will be needed.

As usual. This is an additional chapter. Reveling what had happened when Humphrey was a lone wolf.

Original world – 16 months ago

"Hey! Slow… down!"

On a Prairie, a gray wolf yelled to the other gray wolf who was running ahead. He was out of breath

"What?" The first gray wolf stopped and turned. He was breathing heavily too. "So I win?"

That wolf was Humphrey. His fur was now a little darker. And there were some scar on his body.

"Ya… Ya… You beat me." Edward, the other wolf, said.

"I don't believe that was only 6 months. You learn fast." He continued.

"Well… maybe I am a late bloomer." Humphrey laughed.

"Don't be that arrogant." Edward pushed Humphrey on his shoulder. "My mom always told me. 'No matter how good you think you are, there is always someone out there that is better.'"

"Maybe she was talking about your dad." Humphrey joked.

"Probably, who knows. They are both dead." Edward made a 'whatever' face.

"Come on. You are talking about your parent. Be serious." Humphrey didn't like Edward's attitude toward death.

"I'll try." Edward said. "When I have time."

Then he started to laugh.

"That's not how you tell a joke." Humphrey said and try to be serious.

Of course, he failed.

They laugh out loud together and lay on the grass.

SO... This is friend! Edward thought.

They never know this would be the last time they laugh like this together.
