This is the 34th Chapter of the whole story. After researching a lot of archives about nuclear weapons that utilizes uranium, plutonium or polonium, i decided to make some weapon changes of my OCs in this chapter. Please enjoy this new chapter by the way since it had some minor remembrance of the weapons used in World War 2!
Chapter 34 - A Nuke-tastic Surprise
Days after the Israeli Military Parade, Splero and his friends returned to their own military careers in the large landing strip. One day, Splero, Parez, Dottie and Maru were assembly on a new contraption in Buster's hangar when Dusty arrived...
"Hey, guys. What's going on in here?" - Dusty asked -
"Hello, Dusty. We're making some new bombs here but this is quite dangerous yet." - Splero replied -
"What is it?" - Dusty asked, curiously -
"See for yourself then." - Dottie said -
Dusty approached to them and he was surprised that they were creating a Fat Man-like Bomb. They were inserting a highly-radioactive Plutonium Core. The bomb was almost the size of a human being...
"Whoa! You guys were making your very own A-Bomb indeed!" - Dusty exclaimed -
"Dusty, calm down. This is not like the A-Bomb that was dropped on Nagasaki during World War 2. This is just a smaller replica of the ordinary bomb that only contained just a small Plutonium Core. Even though it contains some spent nuclear fuel inside, it can't cause the same destruction like what the true A-Bomb did in Nagasaki long ago." - Splero reassured -
"Ok, guys. That's explains a lot but where did you guys get it's spent nuclear fuel, eh?" - Dusty asked -
"We just brought from Jerusalem, Dusty. There's a Nuclear Research Plant in the city so we could have some of this really radioactive materials for our war weapons." - Splero replied -
"It also costs $1500 for each Plutonium Core." - Parez added -
Upon hearing that, Dusty was thunderstruck by Parez's words...
"$1500 for a Plutonium Core?! That's outrageous enough for me, guys." - Dusty exclaimed -
"Don't worry, Dusty. We still have some monetary support from the other nations we occupied long ago. We have large oil fields in the whole nation so we're raking enough funding for these materials." - Splero said -
"I see." - Dusty realized -
Splero, Parez, Dottie and Maru were finally finished on installing the core on their bomb. Splero and Parez tighten it with rivets while Dottie and Maru painted it yellow with their spray paint guns...
"Ok, the bombs were now ready to be tested today." - Splero said -
"Bombs? Wait! There's more?!" - Dusty asked -
"Of course, Dusty. We made it for months too." - Splero replied -
Splero and Parez then went to the storage room where they uncovered a large cloth, unveiling more Fat Plutonium Core Bombs. Dusty was surprised indeed...
"Wha! That's a lot of nukes you got there!" - Dusty exclaimed -
"Yeah. We're grown very weary of ordinary exploding bombs that we used long ago so we'll switch all of our bombs to nuclear ones then." - Parez said -
"Not only it produce some good splash damage but it can also poisons the enemies too." - Splero added -
"Wow! That's extreme enough for me, Splero!" - Dusty said -
"Indeed, Dusty. Indeed." - Splero replied -
Buster then entered to his own hangar...
"Hey, Splero! Is the bombs were fully ready to be tested?" - Buster asked -
"Almost, Buster but let's wait for a few more minutes. After that, we're ready to test it out." - Splero replied -
Dusty heard them...
"Oh Sweet Lord!" - Dusty said to himself -
This is the end of Chapter 34. Dusty discovered that the Desert Ayits were now changing their bombs from ordinary to nuclear type ones and they will all gonna test them out afterwards. Stay tuned for Chapter 35, everyone!
