THIS IS VERY SHORT! I wanted this to be a quick insight into things for an update on a few days or so after the last chapter. We are switching to Bella POV for the next few chapters, y'all are about to learn a lot!

EPOV

A week and 5 days

We were still working hard. We poured over the information that was given to us by Newton. Agent Tanner wasn't pleased we had managed to get that all from him but he seemed fine to have the information any way. He made the necessary calls and handled the arrest of those we had the information on. Mike told us of different locations they would meet. One abandoned place in Forks had all the relationship connects Bella had. From Charlie down the Ruth at the bookstore. Mr. Clark had been meticulous in his research of Bella.

When Agent Tanner sent us the pictures of the place we were all angry. Angrier knowing this man was nowhere to be found in New York. It was unnerving. He allowed himself to be known but he wouldn't let us find him. Tyler, Jessica, Lauren, and even Erik Yorkie had been arrested in relation to this case. Each facing a good bit of time, something I was more than happy about. Sad news, a few days ago Mike was found hanging in his cell but his sheets. I was disturbed he took the easy way out but glad he had given over information and a little pissed I didn't get to talk to him before he did, fucking Agent Carter and protocol. I wanted to see him rot in jail, spend years suffering but we wouldn't. As long as he was no longer a threat to Bella, I was happy.

"I tell you this third son is hard to find." Marcus huffed

"I have our tech people on it." Agent Tanner said pouring over some papers he collected in Forks.

"Whoever this other man is, he is loaded. He was dropping millions of dollars for them to help him." Jake said shaking his head

"Daniel had money, more than he let on. If this is his son for real, he inherited it all and can use it however he likes. The way he acts though, he seems like the type to make his own money. He has to be rich, he couldn't drop that kind of money and live on the inheritance." Charlie noted

"So a multi-millionaire?" Agent Tanner asked

"It would explain things. We are upper class people, it would make sense someone from this crowd used Jeffery's wants to get to Bella himself." Carlisle reasoned

"We'll have to cross check and see the list of people you are all around regularly or run in the crowd with and a connection to Daniel." Agent Tanner said getting on the phone

"They need a connection to Forks as well." Charlie added

I was distracted, trying to stay up to date with something not so heartbreaking. Ben was keeping me up to date with information about Angela and the baby. She had taken the news really hard about Bella, she acted as if she could've done something to save her. This was far from her fault. She was angry Bella never told her about this whole situation and then broke into more tears because Bella was being selfless. I convinced them to get Suzie somewhere safer because who knew what these bastard would try so she is staying with her grandparents, especially with the guy running loose. I really wanted Ben and Angela to go too with the newborn, Benjamin Elijah, but Ben couldn't leave town because of work but I got patrol on Angela and Suzie.

"Em? Em?" Jake said waiving his hand in front of his face

"Yeah?" I asked

"You okay?" he asked

"Fine, trying to stay up to date with Ang and the baby. Bella is going to hate that she missed it." I mumbled, putting my phone to the side

"She'll just be happy to have another kid to spoil. I was over Edward's the other night and Masen really misses Bella." He sighed

"I need to see him soon. I've been so wrapped in this I haven't even thought about how this is for everyone else." I said

"How did Edward handle the tape situation the other day?" I asked

"Oh he was pissed royally but he was able to show that the tape was from one evening when he was hanging with Bella. Those guys did some fine tuning and changing of the original to make it look like it was the day before or of her taking." Jake said

"He probably thinks I hate him since I haven't talked to anyone.

"What is we have dinner tomorrow night, here is probably the best bet?" Carlisle asked

"That would be nice, give everyone a chance to be together. Maybe you can even go see Angela." Charlie offered.

"Maybe," I sighed "So what do we know?" I asked looking at Agent Tanner and Carter

"We know who is involved. We have a deceased Michael Newton" he answered pointing at Mike's picture, "We have Jessica Stanley in custody, eyes are out for Tyler Crowley, we talked to Eric and he was helpful. He said his role wasn't huge, just tech stuff but still enough to have him be in trouble, still hoping to get more out of him. Lauren has been hard to find. Ever since she gave up her son, she has been traveling around the country but we have an international search for her. Last but not least, Jeffery Clark, he is one hard son of a bitch to find." He frowned

I looked at the board in front of us. All the pictures of those we knew were involved and the big question mark at the top bothered me. Who the hell was at the head of all of this?

So, this story has had a lot of players involved. Could Bella's kidnapper be someone she knows personally or someone new who just used everyone around her? Who do you think it is? Another teacher? Another friend of Carlisle and/or Charlie? The next chapter will either be the family dinner or the kidnapping in Bella's POV! We shall see! Until next time, xoxo!
