Taylor's POV

Haley and I sit in her living room and wait for Meggie to arrive.

"Why didn't you text Riley?" I ask her curiously.

"I'll explain everything when Meggie gets here." Haley assures me.

Less than a second later, Meggie enters the living room.

"Why did you call us here?" Meggie asks immediately.

"Sam Kahn is A!" Haley tells us seriously.

"Haley, we've already gone over this." I say with a sigh.

"I can prove it this time. Sam knows my sister's secret, and he's holding it over her. Taylor, you said that A planted the pot in James's bag." Haley reminds me.

"Yes." I say with a nod.

"Serena told me that Sam forced her to plant the drugs in the bag, or he'd tell everyone her secret!" Haley exclaims.

"Oh my gosh!" Meggie says as her eyes grow wide with shock.

"Why isn't Riley here?" I ask Haley.

"We can't tell Riley anything." Haley tells us seriously.

"Why not?" Meggie asks confused.

"Because she loved Sam, and this will break her heart even more." She says with a sigh.

"I know this is hard for Riley, but she has to find out the truth eventually." Meggie tells Haley gently.

"Better sooner than later." I say with a nod.

"What are you saying?" Haley asks me.

"That we have to tell Riley today." I say seriously.

"We can't." Haley says as she shakes her head vigorously.

"What if she gets close to Sam again? He could hurt her more than he already has." Meggie tells us.

"That isn't possible." Haley argues.

"Really? Because Riley is still alive, and A is ruthless enough to change that." I say to Haley.

"Fine, go ahead and tell her, but I want no part in this." Haley tells us.

"What are you saying?" Meggie asks confused.

"Leave." Haley says as she points towards the door.

Line Break

"Are you sure we're doing the right thing?" Meggie asks as we stand in front of the Fitz house.

"I'm positive, Riley has the right to know about this." I say with a nod.

I walk to the porch and knock on the door, and Aria answers it within seconds.

"Hello girls." Aria says as she stares off into space.

"Is Riley home?" Meggie asks.

"Yes, but she isn't allowed to have any visitors." Aria tells us.

"Why? I haven't seen her in forever, and I really miss her." I say truthfully.

"What are you talking about? She slept over at your house last night." Aria says confused.

"Oh um, that's right. We were apart for almost a week before that though." I say trying to cover for my friend.

"I'm afraid Riley is grounded." Aria says with a sigh.

"What did she do?" Meggie asks as her eyes grow wide with shock.

"Last night she stormed out of the house and didn't tell me where she was going. I stayed up half the night worrying about her, and at about one o'clock in the morning she calls me to tell me that she is sleeping over at your house. Ever since she got home, Riley has had a horrible attitude." Aria tells us.

"Oh." Meggie softly obviously uncomfortable.

"You wouldn't believe how rude teenage girls are to their mothers after they go though puberty." Aria rants.

"I believe it." I say with a chuckle.

"Since we're all the way over here can we say hello to Riley?" Meggie asks hopefully.

"Sorry girls, I'll tell her you stopped by though." Aria says apologetically.

"Thank you." I say as we walk out of the driveway.

"This sucks." Meggie says with a sigh.

"Where was Riley last night? She certainly wasn't at my house." I tell Meggie.

"What if she was with Sam?" Meggie asks terrified.

"This is bad Meggie, really bad!" I exclaim.

"What should we do?" Meggie asks me.

"I'm talking to James about this." I say decisively.

Line Break

I sit at the Rosewood Grill and wait for James to arrive. He agreed to meet me here at eight, and it's already eight fifteen.

"Taylor! I'm so sorry I'm late." James says as he rushes through the doors.

"It's fine." I say with a warm smile.

James responds by giving me a gentle kiss on the forehead.

"So what's up?" He asks me curiously.

"I'm really worried about Riley." I blurt out nervously.

"She's doing a lot better." James says as he wraps his arms around me.

"I think Sam Kahn is worse than we thought." I say with a sigh.

"How could he be any worse?" James asks shocked.

"He's dangerous, and I think Riley is still seeing him." I confess.

"Why would you think that?" He asks as his eyes grow wide with furry.

"I stopped by your house earlier today to visit Riley, and your mom wouldn't let me see her because she is grounded. Then I complained about never seeing her, and your mom said that she slept over at my house last night." I say to James.

"Why is that weird?" James asks confused.

"She didn't sleep over at my house last night. I haven't seen Riley since your parents found out about Sam!" I explain.

"I swear to God if that bastard is hurting my little sister..." James starts to say.

"Don't let him hurt her! Find Sam Kahn and nail his ass to a wall!" I exclaim.

"Wow Taylor!" James says with a chuckle.

"I'm serious James, someone needs to teach Sam a lesson." I tell him.

"I'll talk to Riley, and if she was with Sam last night I'll pay him a visit." James assures me.

"Good." I say relieved.

"Have you told your parents about us?" James asks me suddenly.

"No." I say as I shake my head.

"Do you think they're okay with us being together?" He asks me nervously.

"I don't see why they wouldn't be. They know what a great guy you are." I say as I grab his hand.

"I am two years older than you though." He says with a sigh.

"That's not a big age difference at all." I assure him.

"I just want them to understand that I really care about you, and I'd never pressure you into doing something that you weren't ready for." James tells me.

"Like I said before, they know you're a good guy." I say with a smile.

"Before you go, can I ask you one more question?" James asks me curiously.

"Sure." I say.

"Will you go to homecoming with me?" He asks with a charming boyish smile.

"Yes, oh my gosh yes!" I say as I wrap my arms around him.

Line break

I enter my house and see my family eating dinner in the dining room.

"Hi Taylor." Keenan says with a warm smile.

"Hey Keenan." I say as I give him a kiss on his forehead.

"Do you want me to make you something to eat?" My mom asks me.

"That's okay, I ate at the Grille." I say to her.

"Were you with Haley and Meggie?" My dad asks me curiously.

"Um no, I was with James Fitz." I say nervously.

"Why were you with James?" My mom asks as her eyes grow wide with shock.

"We were catching up." I say with a shrug.

"Taylor is in love!" Keenan screams.

"Keenan!" I say angrily.

"That isn't funny Keenan, Taylor knows that her and James can only be friends. He is two years older than her, and any romance going on between them would be inappropriate." My dad tells my brother seriously.

"Right." I say as my heart sinks.

"Do you want to play scrabble with us after dinner?" My mom asks me suddenly.

"That's okay, I have a lot of homework." I say as I run to my room.

Seconds later I receive a text message from an unknown number.

Careful Taylor! You wouldn't want Mommy and Daddy to separate you from James, now would you? Do exactly what I say, or your secret gets out. Look under your bed, and you'll find three letters addressed to Hanna, Aria, and Emily. Deliver a letter to each woman, and don't open or tell the girls about the letters.

-A

I look under my bed, and sure enough there are three letters addressed to Hanna, Aria, and Emily.

What did you think? What's in the letters and will Taylor deliver them? How will Spencer and Toby react when they find out about Taylor's relationship with James? I'll update as soon as I get 20 reviews. Thanks for reading :)
