Two weeks had passed and it was the final days of the school year. The glee club sat in the choir room talking among themselves.
Mr;Shue walked in and smiled at them, " The years over guys, some of you will officially be seniors in ten minutes, others will be juniors, and the rest will become sophomores. I'm proud of you guys".
"Thanks Mr;Shue it means a lot" said Jamie.
"…So, are we all talking again?" asked Mr;Shue referring to Isabelle and Aaliyah, they had been ignoring each other since the competition.
Isabelle folded her arms looking away while Aaliyah looked the opposite away also looking away.
"Guys, it's been two weeks, don't you think you guys should patch things up?" asked Summer.
"I'm positive both of you are over it by now" said Autumn crossing her arms.
Aaliyah look over at her sister and wore sad eyes; Isabelle eventually turned her head as well and looked at her sister with the exact same look.
"I miss you" whispered Aaliyah.
Isabelle poked her lip out, "I miss you too".
The two sisters stood up hugged each other, "I'm sorry for getting angry at you and letting all of this happen".
"I'm sorry for embarrassing you even though I was doing it to save you" said Isabelle.
Aaliyah turned to her glee club, "I wanna say sorry to all of you guys as well. I think the reason we lost Nationals was because of me".
"It's not you fault, we'll get them next year" said Kyle.
"And your happiness is way more important than any trophy" said Leslie.
Aaliyah smiled as she thought about how lucky she was to have amazing friends.
"Since schools over how are you guys gonna spend your summer?" asked Mr;Shue.
"…Well, we really hadn't had the chance to think about it. So much as been happening for the past couple of months. I guess everything is by ear right now" replied Nial.
"Well, I want you guys to have a fantastic summer. You guys are welcome to stay, I've got finals to grade" said Mr;Shue as he left.
Blake stood and went to the front of the room, "Well its officially summer in a couple minutes why don't we kick summer off with a summer jam" said Blake.
"I never thought I would get tired of hearing my name so much" smiled Summer.

The school bell rang and school was officially over. The new directions smiled at each other and screamed. They ran out the McKinley doors happy student; stress no longer flooded their minds all they cared about was summer happening.
"Aaliyah, can I take you somewhere?" asked Nathan.
"Yeah, of course. Wait a sec." she replied with a smile.
"Isabelle you need a ride?" she yelled across the school parking lot.
"No" she replied getting into car with Brent, his sister was taking them to get ice cream to celebrate the end of the year.
"Where do you wanna take me, I'll follow you" she said.
"It's a surprise" he replied.

"So is everything back to normal?" asked Brent eating his chocolate ice cream.
"Just about, my sister and I made up and Chase hasn't bothered her so I think so. Oh and she and Nathan are back together. From what I hear their taking things slow" she replied eating her vanilla ice cream with strawberries all around it.
"I'm glad everything worked out" smiled Brent.
"I feel bad though" confessed Isabelle.
"Why?" asked a confused Brent.
"I feel I've been drowning you with problems and I don't recall myself asking how you were and asking if anything was wrong with you. I'm sorry" she said apologetically.
"Nothing's been wrong, I like that you trust me enough to come to me with your dilemmas. You're the only girlfriend I've ever had that actually tells me about her problems and there not childish. All the girlfriends I've had their biggest problem was figuring out which nail polish went with their outfit best. It really means a lot that you trust me" said Brent.
"Well you're really easy to talk too, when I'm with you I feel like I can tell you anything. I don't have to think about what I say, I can just say it" said Isabelle.
"I do think we need more dates though" grinned Brent
Isabelle smiled, "Oh really? Well that can be arranged" she said pulling him into a kiss.

Both Aaliyah and Nathan got into their cars and began to drive. They drove until Aaliyah noticed she was at their park, they park where they met when they were seven, she wondered what they were doing here. They got out the car and Nathan took her hand leading her to a certain area. After walking for a couple of minutes they stood right in the sandbox.
"This is the exact spot where we met" he said with a grin.
"I remember, you asked me to help you make a sand castle" she smiled.
Nathan smiled, "You had two giant puff balls in your head as pigtails and you wore pink shorts and a white shirt".
Aaliyah's eyes grew big, "You remember what I was wearing?" she asked.
"I remember everything about that day. Later on that day you fell and hurt your knee, I shared my juice box with you to make you feel better" he said.
"You're so sweet" he smiled softly.
Nathan put his hand on her neck; he pulled her shirt a little to see bruises on her neck. Aaliyah's face dropped as she watched her boyfriend look at her bruises that another man left.
"I'm sorry" he said.
"It's not your fault" she replied reassuring him.
"Yes it is, if I hadn't of broken up with you, you still would have been with me and you would have never met him" said Nathan.
"Baby, it's over now. It's in the past, let's forget about it" she said placing her hands on his face to make him forget.
"Have you talked to your parents about it?" asked Nathan.
"Yeah" she replied.
Aaliyah was in her room the day after Nationals listening to music. She decided that the best way to handle this was to drown herself in music. Soon her parents knocked on her door wanting to come in, she allowed them to come in and they sat on her full size bed. Aaliyah took out her ear buds and waited for her parents to start talking.
"Why didn't you tell us?" asked Sam in a quiet voice.
Aaliyah pulled her knees to her chest, "I don't know, I was scared".
"Sweetheart I thought you understood that you could come to us about anything" said Mercedes with sad eyes.
Aaliyah cried, "I know but I wasn't completely sure of what Chase was capable of and I knew if I told you guys that Daddy would get so mad and I didn't want anyone to get hurt".
"No matter what I want you to come to us" said Sam. "I can't stress this enough, it matter to your mother and I that you and your sisters and brothers come to us and talk. Your mother and I thought we built a trust barrier with you guys but it looks like we didn't do our job right" said Sam.
A tears fell from Mercedes eyes, "Aaliyah we love you and your siblings so much and it pains us to know that you were hurting and- and we didn't notice or we didn't ask. I'm so mad at myself for not seeing the change in you because now that I look back I see the change, you weren't dressing the same, you stopped talking, and your eyes weren't as bright…. I'm so sorry for not seeing your cry for help" said Mercedes.
"I'm sorry too" said Sam letting a tear fall.
Aaliyah began to hiccup, "No, no, please don't cry. I'm sorry. This is no one's fault. The only person held responsible is the person that influenced Chase. Abusers aren't born there taught. I don't know what happen in Chase's life I just know that something happened. I know deep down he's a sweet boy, he just needs help. And unfortunately I can't help him" she said.
"You are such a kind person, after all of that you're not mad at him" said Sam
"Because I know he can be a good person. Everyone can be good, accidents happen" says Aaliyah.
"But some accidents can't be forgiven and sometimes that's okay" said Sam.
Aaliyah nodded in response.
"We love you" said Mercedes.
"I love you guys" said Aaliyah hugging her parents at once.
Aaliyah snapped out of her flashback and brought her attention back to Nathan. Nathan reached into his pocket and pulled out a ring, he brought it to Aaliyah's face and she looked at him with confusion. He then got down on one knee and Aaliyah began to hyperventilate.
"What- What are you doing?" she asked.
"This is the promise ring that my Dad gave my mother when they were in college, Aaliyah I want to promise you that I will always be here no matter what. I'm not going in where. I also want to promise that I would never hurt you intently" he said.
" I thought we were taking things slow? Are you sure you wanna give this to me? You can only give a promise ring to one girl" said Aaliyah.
" I'm sorry, it's hard for me to go slow with you. You're the only girl for me, I don't wanna be with anyone else" he said.
She smiled, "Okay".
Nathan smiled; he put the ring on her ring finger and kissed her. When they pulled away Aaliyah looked at the ring closely. The ring was silver and had interlocking hearts craved all around it in the inside of the ring there were two sets of initials. A&R for Allison and Robert; Nathan's parents, and A&N for Aaliyah and Nathan.
Aaliyah made their foreheads touch, "I love you".

After hanging out with Nathan Aaliyah went home, when she walked in she yelled a happy chant.
"Schools over" she yelled; Lucky barked.
"Whoa" cheered Mary.
"I say we celebrate" said Aaliyah.
"Let's go get ice cream" yelled Mary.
"Looks like more ice cream for me. I also need a bathing suit" stated Isabelle.
"I wanna go along for the ride" said Austin joining the group while sending a text to Chris.
Aaliyah smiled, "Brother and Sister outing I love it, bathing suit shopping and ice cream to top everything off".
"I hope your taking the twins" joked Sam.
"Babies can't have ice cream I already tried" said Mary.
Sam laughed, "So summer shopping and ice cream is the plan?" asked Sam.
"Summer shopping? What we getting?" joked Mercedes coming into the conversation.
"Bathing suits, then ice cream" replied Aaliyah.
"Okay, but Mary not too much ice cream" said Mercedes.
"Okay" she said sadly. "I guess that means no triple scoop" she cried.
"That's right no triple scoop, you'll be jumping off the walls" said Mercedes.
Isabelle, Aaliyah, Austin, and Sam laughed, even Lucky barked, "You guys ready to go?" asked Aaliyah.
"Yes, let go" said Austin.
"Out we go" smiled Aaliyah.
"Seat belts" said Sam walking them to the door.
"Seat belts" the four Evans kids repeated.

Summer was outside on the front porch of her home with her brothers. They were coloring there porch with chalk celebrating the last day of school.
"You excited for summer double trouble?" she asked her brothers.
"Yeah, I wanna go to the beach" said Matt.
"I wanna go to the pool" said Max.
Summer giggled, "Her brothers always wanted the complete opposite of each other, they rarely agreed".
"Are we gonna get to go to the beach with you and Blake like last summer?" asked Matt.
"I don't see why not, I'll talk to him and see if we can do that a couple of times" said Summer.
"Yes" cheered Matt.
Suddenly a woman with blonde hair parked her car in front of their house and began to approach them; she wore a smile and waved at the twin boys.
"Hi" she said happily.
"Can we help you?" asked Summer.
"Umm, not really… there isn't an easy way to say this but…" she said but was cut off.
"Beth? What are you doing here?" asked Quinn in shock. "Puck, honey get out here!" she yelled.
Puck came and gasps, "Beth you're here, are you okay? So you need anything?" he said.
She smiled, "I'm fine, I just came. I was wondering if I could stay. I understand if that's a problem".
"No of course not, you're always welcome" said Quinn.
"This is great" smiled Puck.
"Excuse me, who is she?" said Summer completely lost.
"I'm sorry, I'm being rude. I'm Beth, I'm your sister" she said.
"How old are you?" said Summer with anger, her blood pressure was rising.
"I'm 24" she said quietly.
She looked at her parents, "Which would make you guys 16" she yelled. She got up and began to run to her car.
"Summer stop" said Puck.
"No, you guys are liars. Who keeps a child from there other children? I get not telling them" she said point to her brothers. "But I'm 17; I think I should know if I have other siblings" she yelled.
Summer got in her car and locked herself in it. Puck tapped on the door for her to open so they could talk but before Summer could start the car her phone ranged; she received heart breaking room.

"Mary do you have you seat belt on?" asked Aaliyah.
"Yes" said Mary strapped tight in the back with her brother.
"Can we turn some music on?" asked Austin.
Isabelle turned the radio on and turned it up a little, it just loud enough for everyone to hear, but yet talk over it.
"What kind of bathing suit are you looking for?" asked Aaliyah.
"I don't know but this summer I feeling the color green" said Isabelle.
"Greens the color, I like it. I think I'm gonna go yellow this summer" replied Aaliyah.
She stopped at a red light and waited for it to turn green. When it turned green she put her foot on the gas and began to go. When she got to the middle of the road Isabelle saw a bright coming at them from Aaliyah's side.
"Aaliyah watch out" she yelled.
The black Range Rover hit Aaliyah's silver Honda Urban SUV from her side causing the car to turn over and for glass to shatter everywhere. Austin lazily open his eyes and heard sirens and saw smoke and glass everywhere. His head began to really hurt and his eyes closed, going out. The accident was nasty; it was bad, it appeared as if someone wouldn't make it out alive.
THAT'S IT GUYS! THIS THE END OF THE ROAD? WHAT DID YOU THINK? WHAT DID YOU THINK OF THE WHOLE FIC? WAS IT GOOD IR BAD? BETH IS BACK AND WANTS TO STAY? WHAT DO YOU THINK OF HER APPEARANCE? What's Next?- Hope you guys didn't really think i would end this fic with a cliffhanger? Who do i think i am? RIB? turns out there's gonna be a sequel! But that's only if you guys want it. If i get a bunch of Reviews and Pm's saying you want it then why not! If enough people tell me they want a sequel then expect it to come in November!
