Summer Romance.
Chapter 36.
From the moment I'd found this little town, something about it had just appealed to me. Back then, I'd had no idea of what that something could be. Then, I met Dimitri and he showed me just how magical this place really was. There was everything, and then some, that anyone could possibly need tucked away here, something I'd figured out a while ago, but I was always amazed by the many cafes, diners and restaurants.
There seemed to be one for every occasion I realized as we stepped into a cute looking diner. This one did not scream romance like the one Dimitri and I had visited just yesterday, but the food here smelt just as heavenly. This one seemed to specialize in fried chicken or as they put it, home fried chicken, fries, salads, and other traditional American fast foods. They had sodas to, but unfortunately, ice-cream was not on that very lengthy list.
"Geez," I complained. Viktoria turned her head and gave me a weird look. She took one look at my face and raised an eyebrow.
"I thought you said they had everything here?" I asked, unable to keep the pout off of my face.
"But they do Rose," Lissa said. I shook my head. I seriously wanted ice-cream. That was the reason we'd come out here in the first place dam it.
"No, they do not. There is no ice-cream here, I seriously want ice-cream, you guys!" Viktoria and Lissa burst out laughing. I glared, but that did nothing to stop their giggles.
"What would you guys like to order?" A pretty waitress asked. Well, they may not have ice-cream, but they had really delicious looking food on the menu. So, my ice-cream craving on the back burner for now, I ordered and sat down to lunch with my friends.
"I'll see you guys later," Viktoria called with a wave. "Mase is picking me up for dinner." Her smile was blinding and I could not help but be happy for her. She and Mason really were great together. Liss and I waved before continuing into the hotel.
Once we'd made it up to my room, I noticed a note tucked neatly under the door. Picking it up, I read the familiar writing.
My dearest Roza, I'll come get you at 2 O'clock. By then I should be done with all of this paperwork. You can ride along with me while I make my rounds because I know how much you wanted to come with me. I love you. I miss you. I'll see you soon.
Your comrade.
The note made me smile, but the clichéd single red rose attached to it had my face lighting up. Dimitri really was the sweetest most thoughtful guy I knew. Also, seeing him in his cop uniform earlier today had awakened something in me. I needed to have my way with him. After all, he did look completely ravishing.
"Rose!" Lissa called. "It's almost 2, you know." That had me glancing at the clock only to realize that she was right.
"Shit," I swore, rushing in the direction of the shower. My clothes came off along the way, leaving a messy tale behind me. Lissa said something, probably about my swearing, but I didn't listen.
Once I was done with my shower, I scrambled around trying to find something to wear. What did one wear for such an occasion anyway? I had no idea, but Lissa did.
"Rose," She said. I looked over just in time to catch the faded blue jeans and red and black tank top she threw my way. With a grin of thanks in her direction, I changed quickly. Somehow when Dimitri showed up, he still had to wait a couple minutes.
"Comrade," I greeted at last. He flashed me an exasperated smile and for a second I thought it was going to be like earlier where he was hesitant to show any sort of affection, but I need not worry.
"You are absolutely stunning," He said. Before I could come up with a comeback, his lips were on mine. I melted against him just like I always did, giving in to my earlier urges of kissing him until I could no longer breathe. If it weren't for his arms holding me tightly to his chest, I would've fallen over already.
"You don't look half bad yourself," I said somewhat breathlessly, breaking away from his lips. Apparently, Dimitri had no trouble breathing. He trailed wet, open-mouthed kisses down my neck. It was like throwing gasoline on an already raging fire. My entire body was set aflame.
For a couple moments, the world faded. It was just him and I and that ever present electricity that flowed between us. This time however, it was somehow more intense than ever before. When his lips met mine once more, I was ready to combust. I could take no more of this foreplay. I needed Dimitri. I needed to have him take me right now.
"Ehem, you guys?" Lissa's voice said from somewhere far away. At least, it sounded far away to me, but it was enough that Dimitri pulled away from me. Still, I clung to his neck trying to get him to kiss me once more, but the moment was gone.
"She's right, Roza. We really should get going." What the hell? Couldn't he feel it? Why the hell was he so calm when I was a mess of raging hormones and sexual desire?
Dimitri's arms left my waist. Instead, he took one of my hands in his. I pulled away. The slightest touch from him was going to set me off.
"Go on ahead," I told him trying and failing to keep the breathlessness out of my voice. "I'll be down in a few minutes." He nodded, but not before those eyes did a sweep over my body. Dam, I was warm all over again.
Before going into the bathroom, I shot Lissa a nasty look. She only rolled her eyes, very much aware of what could've happened if she had not intervened. Dam my best friend and her stupid timing.
"Sorry, Rose. I love you and Dimitri and all, but I do not need to watch you guys go crazy on each other like that." Now it was my turn to roll my eyes.
"Yeah Liss, because I haven't seen you and Pyro get it on more times than I could count, right? I have the image of his pale ass forever burnt on my brain because of you guys! At least if it were Dimitri…" It wasn't until I saw the look on her face that I stopped. Crap, that's what happens when you're used to teasing your best friend about her and her boyfriend, only now he wasn't her boyfriend anymore.
"Shit, sorry, Liss." I said, reapplying my lip gloss. She blinked at the sound of my voice and shook her head.
"Nah don't worry about it, I'm fine," She said. "I just spaced out there for a second." I shook my head and slipped the lip gloss back into the pocket of my jeans.
"Right," I said. "Sure you are." Lissa rolled her eyes. I made a mental note to figure out what the hell was taking Christian so long. That would have to wait though; right now Dimitri was waiting for me.
"See you later, Liss." I said giving her a quick hug. She smiled, but it didn't reach her eyes. That was all the proof I needed to let me know how much what I'd said had affected her.
By the time I'd made it downstairs, my mood was completely soured. Dimitri took one look at my face and knew something was wrong. He wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Roza? What's wrong?" I shook my head and sighed letting my head fall against his chest. The steady thud of his heart calmed me and I relaxed against him.
"It's nothing," I said looking up at him through some hair that had fallen in my face. "I just don't like seeing Lissa so unhappy, you know?"
"What do you mean? She seemed fine when I left," He noted.
"Yeah, she was until I opened my big mouth." I grumbled. Dimitri's confused look led me to explain what had happened.
"Oh but it's not your fault, love. Maybe you really should talk to Christian?" I nodded. Dimitri pressed a quick kiss to my lips instantly making me smile.
"There's that smile I've been waiting for," He said. Now, I giggled.
"Wow is it usually this quiet around here?" I asked Dimitri when we'd stopped. He nodded.
"Yeah, we're a pretty quiet town." Dimitri told me. "Everybody knows everybody here but you know there are always the few trouble makers. They're just not out today it seems"
"Mmm well, that's not necessarily a bad thing, you know." Dimitri flashed me an encouraging grin.
"Yeah? How so?" He asked. I shifted closer.
"Because," I said tangling my fingers in his silky locks. "No one would mind if Baia's resident cop's girlfriend does this." I pulled his head down and pressed my lips to his.
Dimitri kissed me back instantly but his kisses were not as fierce as they had been back at the hotel. He pulled away for a few seconds, those watchful eyes doing a sweep of the area.
"Relax, comrade." I said. "The park is full of kids and teenagers having fun. You worry too much." I kissed him again. This time, he didn't hesitate to shove his tongue into my mouth. Before I knew it, I was on my back on the bench with Dimitri hovering just above me.
"Maybe we should take this elsewhere?" I asked. Dimitri's eyes had darkened; his pupils were dilated in to slits. His excitement was pressed up against my belly and my panties were completely ruined. He didn't say a word. Instead, he picked me up and tossed me over his shoulder like a caveman.
"Dimitri Belikov, put me down!" I squealed. He only chuckled. I started pummeling his back with my fists. When that didn't work, I just settled down and watched the way his ass flexed as he walked.
We barely made it inside the car before Dimitri was on me again. His lips and hands left a path of fire over every inch of bare skin they could find. When there was no more bare skin left for him to explore, he pulled my shirt and bra down to expose my breasts. The cool wind on my already heated skin made me shudder. Dimitri's lips closed around one of my nipples warming me all over again. His tongue was fucking magical. I was ready to come and he hadn't even entered me yet.
"Dimitri, I need you." He didn't listen. Instead, he took my other nipple into his mouth. His teeth scraped my skin but his tongue was quick to soothe the spot.
"Fuck," I gasped out. I needed more. My hips flew up aligning my center with his erection. It didn't matter that I was still wearing both my jeans and panties; I started grinding myself against him. We were pretty much having sex with our clothes on.
In one swift move, I grabbed the collar of his shirt and pulled. Buttons flew everywhere. Dimitri didn't seemed bothered about the ruined shirt. If anything, he seemed more excited. His chest was on display for my eyes only.
I ran my hands up and down that muscular chest. When he suddenly pulled away taking my jeans and panties down and thrusted hard into me, my nails dug into his back. Dimitri hissed and slammed into me again.
I couldn't help the scream that ripped out of my mouth even if I wanted to. His thrusts were hard and fast, straddling the line between pleasure and pain but never once crossing over.
"Fuck, Dimitri…I'm going to come…" I gasped out trying to fight off the orgasm for a few moments longer.
"Don't fight it baby, come for me." He thrusted one more time and I was done for. I came hard screaming out Dimitri's name. A few more thrusts later and Dimitri's seed was filling me eliciting another orgasm for me. I milked him taking everything he gave.
"Fuck, that was just amazing," I said some time later. My head was resting on Dimitri's chest. His heart rate had slowed like mine had but we were both still basking in the glow of our love making.
"I love you," Dimitri whispered running his fingers through my hair.
"Mm I love you, too." My eyes started to droop but Dimitri's voice brought me back.
"Don't go to sleep yet, love." He said. "Get dressed first." I nodded and got out of his arms. I adjusted my shirt and bra before pulling up my jeans and panties.
"Sorry about the shirt," I said to Dimitri. He shook his head.
"No need, I have others." I nodded absentmindedly staring jaw dropped at my reflection in the mirror.
"Roza? What is it?" Speachless, I pointed to my neck and chest.
"They look great on you, lets everyone else know that you're taken." That was so un-dimitri-like that I burst out laughing. My neck and chest were covered in love bights. It didn't take long for Dimitri to join in the laughter.
"Ooh comrade, pull over, please." I said on the way back to the hotel. Dimitri gave me a somewhat panicked look. I should've expected it, I mean the last time I asked him to pull over it was because something was wrong with Lissa.
"Relax, comrade, I just want some ice-cream." He flashed me a grin and pulled over.
"What flavor would you like miss?" The guy asked. He was an older man but the way he was looking at me was refreshing. He wasn't staring at me as if I was a piece of meat and it had nothing to do with the 6 foot 7 Russian by my side.
"A waffle cone of Mint chocolate chip, please." He nodded.
"How many scoops?" Dimitri answered before I had a chance to.
"Double scoop please." I looked at him from the corner of my eye. He was calm and at ease.
"No problem," The guy said. "Anything for you sir?" Dimitri said something that I didn't catch. As it turned out, the reason I hadn't understood what he'd said was because it was some sort of Russian ice-cream.
"I love you," I whispered to Dimitri sometime later. He was getting ready to leave and it was breaking my heart.
"I love you to, my Roza." He said and kissed me. I stood outside with a heavy heart long after the car had faded in the distance. Tears stung the backs of my eyes. If I couldn't bare it when he was just going home, how was I going to handle leaving?
I honestly had no answer to that question. Sighing, I turned and headed inside. During the ride up to my floor, I pulled my phone out and texted Dimitri.
I miss you already… ;(
Awe, parting is such sweet sorrow, right? Seriously though, how is Rose going to handle going back home? What's taking Christian so long? Let me know what you guys think, you know I love hearing from you! Again sorry for the lack of updates!
Review lovelies and you just might find yourself riding along with Dimitri on patrol…God only knows what can happen in such a confined space ;)
Lots of love XXX
Roza
