Footsteps echoed loudly as Sora's group made their way through the hallways of the Castle That Never Was. They soon came upon an empty platform and were about to turn up another flight of stairs, when suddenly a swirl of darkness appeared. A cloaked figure stepped forth from it and revealed itself to be Luxord.
"You again?!" Sora spoke in surprised confusion.
Luxord seemed as equally surprised to see the spiky haired brunette and his ladies in tow. But he kept his composure and spoke in an awkward tone, "Yes, me again." He followed up this time speaking in a completely leveled tone. "What are you three doing here?"
"We're here to rescue our friends- why else would we be here?" Paige spoke up from behind Sora just before he could retort with a witty response.
Luxord rose an eyebrow as he stepped forward. He began walking a circle around the anxious party, dice magically appearing in his hand. The blonde man rolled the dice over his knuckles slowly as he continued his stroll around the teens.
Sora and Natalie both summoned their weapons. Paige stared at her two companions weapons holding her hands up clearly not knowing what she was to do. It wasn't gonna be her thing to be that useless team member, she shoved her hands in her pockets. "Uh….guys?" She said softly.
Sora and Natalie both turned their heads to look at Paige. She removed her hands from her pockets and held them up. "What am I supposed to use?" Sora looked at Natalie, both wearing identical looks of surprise. They had both forgotten that Paige had not received her weapon.
"Just stay near us, okay?" Sora bit his lip turning his body towards the enemy who was still pacing around them. "Natalie and I will make sure you get through this in one piece."
Paige grimaced and quickly put herself near her two battle ready companions. She felt a small twinge of fear at not being able to defend herself. At the same time she felt uneasy about the situation at hand. 'Where is Riku' Paige thought silently.
"Have fun facing these" Luxord grinned and snapped his fingers as he faded away into a dark portal.
Soon as the nobody had snapped his fingers a horde of varying lesser nobodies materialized. Paige gasped, Natalie stiffened flourishing her battle axe, and Sora's glare that was aimed at the surrounding nobodies intensified. All three teens were surprised to see a few classes of nobodies that they have never seen before.
"Do we have to?" Paige asked, a large frown on her face.
Sora sighed heavily. "Yes…yes, we do. Remember stay close."
